Excellent service... highly recommend. Our 2008 Corolla is in generally very good condition for a 13-year-old car; nevertheless it was beginning to run a little rough and overall starting to show its age since it had been a while since we had last brought the car in for a thorough maintenance (which costs big $$$ at any typical Toyota dealer). Thus, upon recommendation of others, we brought our Corolla to JNJ for overdue overall maintenance and engine tune-up. JNJ did not disappoint... they completed all the work on time and our Toyota runs so much smoother than before. As I write this, its been about a month since we had the car serviced and still performing great. Again, we are very happy with the service at JNJ and will not hesitate to bring our Corolla back there again in the future.

Ojay is fantastic. The best description, that even another reviewer mentioned, is transparency. I came in for hub assembly replacement and he was professional. He detailed his work, doesn’t beat around the bush, and even takes the time to talk/listen to you as a person. The best mechanic in/around Chicago, hands down!My wife and I were on a trip and our power steering went out. After calling around to numerous places we found Ojay. He was not only able to look at the car and diagnose the problem right away, but he also did the diagnosis for free. He went out of his way to help us because we were traveling and squeezed us in first thing the next morning. By 11am we were back on the road. For what it cost to even get diagnosed by another mechanic, it literally cost the same for Ojay to repair the issue!Seriously unbeatable service. Don’t hesitate to call this guy! Very friendly and takes the time to show and explain the issue and he’s very up front about the cost.

Well it was time to find a reputable auto repair shop now that my mechanic of 37 years retired and left the state. Asking clients who they used I found JNJ auto and was extremely impressed with the shop, the process to have my vehicle serviced and the overall attitude of this family run business. So far having simple brake work done at a fair price and observing possible additional maintenance work brought to my attention is all I expected. Conversing further with Oscar about possible additional work on my Classic Car showed he had knowledge and the ability to tap other shops for the work I possibly needed. For busy business people like myself who’s time is far more valuable, I am a firm believer in letting trained mechanics do their trade and keep the minor lightbulb and wiper blade changes for weekend chores to myself. IMO, YouTube is good for understanding what needs to be done to speak the same language as the mechanic, but the lack of a lift in my garage and the expensive tools necessary for engine work prohibit going further.Last word; Find a reputable mechanic, “invest” in your mechanics livelihood and family and they will allow you to keep investing the necessary time with your family.Thank you.

I had JNJ replaced the radiator on my 2005 MDX on 12.1.2020. One of the transmission cooler connectors on the radiator became detached. Both the coolant and trans fluid were leaking out. JNJ was able to skillfully save the transmission from damage resulting from the radiator connector breach. Cost of repair was beyond reasonable! Job well done! Thanks!

I visited JNJ Complete Auto Repair on February 14th 2020. They were able to quickly diagnose my car’s problem (every time I hit the brakes, my car would make a grinding sound). I needed the rear brake pads and rotors replaced. He also let me know my front brake pads and rotors would need to be changed soon. They were very honest about what needed to be fixed and what could wait to be fixed. They did not pressure me into getting the front ones fixed, they just recommended that they would need to be replaced soon. Their pricing was fair, and the mechanic showed me the problem so I knew exactly what was being fixed. I am not very knowledgeable about cars so I appreciated that. The waiting time was not long at all, they had my car ready by the next business day (I dropped it off late afternoon). I recommend paying with check or cash so you don’t have to pay the credit card fee, which is not a lot but it’ll save you some money if you can. After leaving there with my car, the grinding sound has since stopped and I haven’t had any issues with my brakes. Their service was very efficient, friendly, and fair!

My car was recently serviced at a different location using aftermarket products leaving my car leaking oil and my air conditioning did not work when the car was picked up.

We had our Oil Pressure Sensor Unit replaced. Their garage was organized and clean. This was a good indication of his quality workmanship. Not only did OJ replace the sensing unit, he inspected the undercarriage of our SUV. He found a loose cable that was not properly secured by dealerships that recalled the frame. The cable was frayed from rubbing against a fan belt. OJ saved me a major headache and money! JNJ is my go to auto repair guy!

Earlier this year I wanted new upgraded springs installed on my Jeep Wrangler. I saw the great reviews on Google and decided to give them a try and I was not disappointed. During the install Ojay had me come to the back and showed me what he did. I appreciate things like this because communication from the shop to the customer is very important. This helps me see what is involved when installing/upgrading parts. I thought that when installing springs, it’s as simple as just as swapping them out but Ojay explained that the control arms need to be removed and the brake lines needed to be adjusted because the new springs were taller than the original ones. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants great and honest service with fair prices.
