Mad Dog Cycles comes through yet again!!! Ive purchased 6 bikes from Mad Dog Cycles over the last few years and countless accessories/apparel/service and each time I have been treated exceptionally well by their professional staff.Last week I decided to purchase an electric bike for my wife for her birthday and Mad Dog Cycles delivered above and beyond on this new bike. My wife loves it!!! The pedal assist is amazing for her especially because of living above the Murdock canal trail in Pleasant Grove. Now she looks forward to her daily bike rides and doesnt dread the climb back up the hill. Thanks again Mad Dog Cycles!!!

I have enjoyed the friendly, helpful attitude without any pressure staff. They are laid back and willing to talk, listen to me. I’m grateful they got me the Saris Bones car rack for me to take my bike using my car. They will answer any questions have about bikes, accessories, or local trails. They have been there and done that everywhere in the west and know what they’re taking about. I recommend them for a hometown bike shop with quality experience anywhere.

We haven’t had the best luck with these guys and will be changing to a different bike store moving forward.We’ve had issues with different bikes and strollers on multiple occasions with these guys. We just took our kids’ bicycle and motorcycle in to get the tires filled with slime and to check for holes (both had flat tires). My husband went to pick them up a day after they were ready and they wheeled out my daughters bike with a flat tire and about to come off the bike. They wheeled it back and fixed it and when my husband got home my daughter took it out for a ride and ran into fence because the brake was never reattached.They’ve started to add all these random charges as well and I’m not happy with the work that’s been done so I will not return.I taken both our double AND single strollers in due to a flat tires and continue to problems. I had them put slim in them but within days they’re flat. I’ve taken both of them in multiple times and the last time I went in I asked them for new tires because I was sick of this happening and they told me not to and that I didn’t need one so I trusted them and sure enough the very next day it was flat! I just keep filling it up on my own before I go out for a walk/run. Such a waste of time and money.

Ive been in a couple times and they are always super friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of most stuff and are happy to get in things quickly if needed. I have a big ride in 2 days and last week had a minor crash that affected my front derailleur. I took my bike for a safety check just to make sure things were good and mentioned the problem. They fixed my issue while I shopped! I told them straight up I knew it wasnt their problem but if they could help I would be grateful. they have gained a loyal customer for life!

Our experience with Mad Dog Cycles was 5 star. I ordered online and selected in store pick up. I do not live in Orem and needed to make a three hour drive to pick up my order. I was willing to do that because I needed the item immediately. After I placed the order I realized that my brother would be able to drop by the store and bring my order on his way to see me. Mad Dog Cycle is so busy they cannot take phone calls but they have a texting option so you can communicate with them. The entire team at Mad Dog Cycle made it possible for my brother to stop in and pick up the ordered item. They had it waiting for him. It was an easy pickup for him and a blessing for me.A couple of week later we stopped by the store to buy some helmets. The staff was attentive, patient and willing to assist us in every way possible. I hope they get a 5 star reward for their efforts.

Ive had 3 great experiences with online orders long distance from their place in Utah to the Kansas City area. Some items were Bontrager (Trek) products I couldnt find anywhere else online or at my local Trek Corporation owned store thats only 2 miles away due to production issues, supply chain problems and unprecedented demand due to increased ridership this last nearly year and a half since the pandemic began. Started with just a pair of tires for a new commuter bike build and since then has included several accessories for it and my mountain bike on my next 2 orders. Shipping has been prompt, communication excellent and theyve saved me money as well. Doesnt get much better than that. My bikes are my only vehicles, so getting stuff I couldnt get anywhere else like tires and bags has been really important to me. Theyve rewarded customer loyalty so Ive ordered other essentials like light sets that are more readily available because they deserve the business. Mad Dog Cycles will continue to be a go-to for me. Now if only I could visit in person and enjoy some of Utahs world class cycling while was out there... Hopefully one of these days... Thanks guys!

Couldn’t have had better service. Steve spent a lot of time when I was looking at bikes and watched me ride so I could find the right size and bike. They took time to answer all my questions. Then when receiving my bike they took the time even at closing to put everything together for me. And they built my bike fast for me. All the guys gave quality service and were super awesome!

Steve was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. This is the perfect place to go if this is your first time, or you’re experienced. Steve helped me pick the proper bike frame, seat height, handles, clips, and shoes. He even did several extra adjustments at my request after my order came in. He gave me several useful tips, and helped me know how to pick out clips and shoes too! Pricing is good, & they even took the time to find my phone number after all was said and done because I left som sunglasses at the store unknowingly. They called me up, and I was able to get them back. (They had my number because I pre-ordered a bike) these guys treat you more than fair. I highly suggest them.

I had been searching for a specific bicycle and found it online at Mad Dog Cycles. The catch was that I live in Michigan and they are in Utah!! We were planning a trip west and I was able to work with Mad Dog Cycles to have them build the bike and we picked it up during our trip. The entire transaction up until pickup was done online and via text. They were both helpful and responsive. The bike was all ready to go when we arrived at the store. (Shipping was an option; but I would have had to find someone to assemble it.) Folks in Utah are lucky to have Mad Dog Cycles as a local business.

Go here first!! Mad Dog is the only place I will now go. I tried my normal place in Provo to change a tire on my e-bike and they said they couldn’t. I went to Mad Dog and had it done in 10 minutes. GREAT PLACE AND FRIENDLY STAFF….

Everything was great except the site said free shipping and it was not. Since it was the sites error, they shouldve done the right thing and honored it. They did not. They texted to say it would be an additional $100.00 for the shipping.The bike arrived with minimal damage.

They allowed me to pick out a good bike with all the things I wanted on it!

Mad Dog has a chat/text function on their website and it worked seamlessly! I tried phone calls without success, but this method was the ticket. They tracked down a unicorn item for me to complete a matching kit and shipped it next day. I had a very positive experience and wished I lived close by so I could frequent the shop. My wife and I are both beginners - everyone here at Mad Dog was super helpful, knowledgeable, and professional.Cash was able to help us find a couple of really perfect bikes for us and went out of his way to make sure we had the best bikes for our budget. He was also super kind and courteous when I had trouble getting back on a bike for the first time in a decade, and gave me some great tips.Its fantastic to have such a quality bike shop in our backyard. Steve was a great help when I bought my Trek Powerfly, he was knowledgeable and asked questions on my riding ability to make sure I had the right bike.I wanted the tires upgraded and they hurried to do that just before closing time. My only complaint holding them back from 5 stars is I had them instal a bash guard and it came with an extra bash guard. And I never got that second one back. There customer service is incredible! Other than the bash guard they are definitely the best bike shop around!

I will certainly be ordering from them again. Found them looking for a bike for my daughter in a time where no bikes are available anywhere. I texted them a message about the status of my bike order and they responded and were very helpful, informative, and nice. Bike arrived great.

They were awesome. Especially Steve. Super responsive even though they were fairly busy with customers. Most bikes were back-ordered because of the Pandemic, but they worked with me for a long time to find the right one and I walked out that day with a bike I use multiple times a day now. The bikes were very reasonably priced. Not sure about accessories. They seemed a little expensive, buy I don’t know what normal is for bike accessories.

Some sweet bikes here. I caught 4 feet of air on one when I took it for. Spin and jumped it off a curb out back. I get all my bikes here and the repair the damage I do to them. They fix all my flats. Also picked up an ebike here. Love that thing. Made pedaling a breeze. Huge selection and even a better staff. They are super friendly and very helpful

Me and my husband recently bought two Trek Marlon 4’s at mad dogs cycles and we couldn’t have had a better bike shopping experience. We chose the right store. And they’re our local bike shop so it’s a plus. They gave us a lot of information on maintaining our new bikes. They explained to us the care plans they offer. I liked the option they offer of $5 where you go in for basic bike care class. They even showed us some nice family friendly local trails and some from easy to hard level on a website they recommended us. I believe they even answered questions I was only thinking in my mind. Very professional staff. Go buy a bike ! Strong quality.

I am super impressed with everyone that helped me throughout my process. I needed to elevate my generic bike into a full distance tri ready bike and I was helped every step of the way. I got the necessary items to mechanically improve my bike and was then fit to it so it worked for me the best way possible. Borrowed an expensive road bike from a friend for my wife to use in a triathlon very last minute but it had some dry rot from being neglected for a couple years and a couple other things. These guys took the time and went the extra mile to help ignorant me get this bike back to racing shape instead of treating the transaction like a drive thru. That kind of service will bring me back.

Mad Dog has been my LBS for several years now. I’ve known many sales people, mechanics, and office workers there over these years. They are all fine people. Randy Gibb has built a fine organization here. I’ve even done some extra curricular work with them like group rides, teams and such. No bike shop is perfect, but Mad Dog Cycles does pretty well. They sell good quality stuff and do a good job on repairs. They are also a full service LBS doing fittings and community events. So I suggest you give them a try.

I bought a marlin bike from those guys because the Trek store from American Fork said they are the only one that has the size I want. So I went and bought one. They have several bikes in that model and size in stock. When i tested riding it, the front gear kept dropping while the rear gear is at the highest. I went back and asked them to adjust it. They came back and said thats how it works. Then I called Trek and Trek said to go back readjust or replace it. After an intense argument with mid-age white guy, probably store manager, they agreed to replace it. In the afternoon, when I came back to pick it up, I realized they gave me a bike with a new frame (new serial number) but the gears and wheels were from the old bike. Well, I thought as long as it is not dropping gears, I am Ok with it. The story didnt end with here. Two days later, I was biking with kids on a paved trail in provo canyon. Windy, I only squeezed the front break, the front wheel was bent. I took the bike back to the store in the morning, I was told warranty is not gonna cover it and I need a truing and asked me to pick it up in the afternoon. I was there at 4, nothing has been done to the bike. So I took the bike to both AL Sport and hangar bike in Provo. Both of them think the front wheel is bent and the insurance will cover it. Hangar bike ended up submitting the warranty claim for me because ALs sport asked me to wait till next day when a guy doing this comes to work. Hangar15 bike got it replaced under warranty. we bought three different Trek bikes from AL sport, hangar, and Mad Dog. Mad Dog is the worst. I will never go or suggest any of those I know of to go there ever again. If there is a negative rating like -10, those guys will get it. I will definitely recommend to go to AL sport or Hangar bike for purchase even when you have to wait; most of time, they are out of stock. Image a store has many bikes in stock that other bikes dont have. how horrible this store is, because people are not buying from those guys. Dont trust those 5 start google reviews here.

Mad Dog is great! They have awesome mechanics better than any shop around. They also carry a wide range of bikes and products, I always find what I’m looking for. I have been going there for years and keep coming back because of the quality work they do. I even had a bike in for repair that I was fighting with my car insurance company on and Mason at mad dog held it for me for over a month while I worked things out. I have worked with Mason several time and he is always extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend using mad dog they are way better than any other bike shop in the area!

Mad dog does a great job with all our bikes. Whenever I screw them up trying to fix them myself I almost always end up having to take them to mad dog where they can fix what I couldnt.

My brake line broke and I had a big ride coming up in 2 days. I texted Mad Dog and explained the situation. They had me bring my bike in ASAP and had it fixed within 4 hours. The repair was reasonably priced. These guys rock.

I purchased two new bikes, and had an older bike repaired. Dave D was great! He set up our new bikes and took the time to explain everything. My older bike is just like new, Dave tuned and adjusted everything! I will definitely be returning to Mad Dog!

Randy was very diligent getting me this very popular, backordered bicycle. He even got creative making a trade with another dealership to accommodate getting the bicycle before my girlfriend’s birthday. He was very thorough in orienting her to the bicycle and sizing it for her. Even though mad dog bicycles is about 45 minutes from home, we will definitely use them regularly!

Excellent customer service. This bike shop is working hard to stay up to date with whats practical in delivery times. With so many unreal lead times for a new bike these guys are only going to give you the best they can. In terms of selling what they have in stock they if you want a certain model it may be they dont have it but will not steer you in a totally different direction. Go to mad dog and get great polished customer service.

I’ve been bringing my bike to Mad Dog for years for a yearly tune-up since a got a discount for buying my bike from them. The tune-up has always been a good tune-up. I’m not unhappy with the work. I am unhappy with their prices. I had some extra work done, so I understand that it would cost more, but the tune-up itself was WAY more than I bargained for. I have been traveling from the southern end of the county all the way up to Mad Dog. Not any longer. I’ll find a local bike repair shop with more reasonable prices.

Mad Dog Cycles is the place to purchase Bicycles and all the gear. They are very professional and price conscious. They didnt push me into the expensive equipment. I got all the gear I think I need for a great price. They contacted me about some gear I forgot and are shipping it to me. I drove over 80 miles to get to their shop and it was worth every mile.

Mad Dog is my go to shop. Every time I take a bike in they’re super communicative throughout the process. My latest experience was great. My bike had a pretty rough season and they helped me pinpoint the areas that needed maintenance and were proactive about taking care of it and applying discounts across the repairs. Some might see that as up-selling, but I was grateful for the tech who gave it a thorough evaluation instead of just doing the bare minimum.

I needed a new hitch on my van. I called them up and they were able to find one for me in about 5 minutes, special order it and it was here and on my van within a week. They took care of everything so quickly. I will call them for anything to do with accessories on my van and bikes from now on! Quick, professional, knowledgeable!

Steve and his team were so helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and assitive with the purchase of a new bike. They really took the time with my son to help him understand how to ride better on a bike, as well as how to take care of his bike. They didn’t have the bike we wanted in stock, because of the shortages that are happening. But luckily they had one on pre-order, and let us purchase that one. So we were able to get the bike in under two weeks. We had a lot of special requests for the bike because of the purpose behind buying it. We had been to another bike store before this, and they weren’t very sure of what we were asking for, and didn’t seem to know a lot about bikes.
