I have purchased ski and mtb equipment for the whole family at the Orem location. The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable. Matt was very helpful tuning up my bike today.

The employees really know what they are talking about and they will help you get into whatever ski or bike package you want depending on your budget. They have everything from consignment and low budget to the highest budget you can imagine. They make shopping there are a great experience so I highly recommend them. And they will give you advice on everything whether you make a purchase or not.

I came in here and the boys in the store were really cool and nice.I honestly was pretty impressed with the selection. I hadn’t been In this store in a few years and it’s much nicer than I remember it. It got a revamp.If your looking for biking gear, ski/snowboard gear, and general hiking and those type of sports gear then I would recommend coming here.

Levi & Jack were AMAZING! They helped me replace two tire tubes. I tried for HOURS to do it at home and couldnt get there. They accepted the challenge and didnt give up and we totally got the job done. They were able to greet and help customers while also helping me with my project. They have a great selection, and the staff was really nice and very helpful. Ted was the main guy who helped me with my skis and boots, he was super cool and had so much information on all different kind of skis and boots. The service is also really amazing, we had them mount our skis for us and it was done in less than 24 hours. If we hadnt gotten there at the end of the day Im pretty sure it wouldve been a same day pickup! This store is great and I highly recommend this being your first stop if youre looking to buy some skis, boots, or a board!

These guys are great. I bought a couple of used bikes for my teens and brought them in here for a tune up. The price was reasonable, the service was wonderful, and the people were very helpful. We even picked up a couple helmets that were priced REALLY well. Im just getting back into biking and this has been a great place to get started.That experience was a couple weeks ago and today I just went back and bought myself a helmet, and again it was a great experience. I had a couple questions for their mechanic and he answered all of my questions, even the dumb ones that I probably should have known. Ive had nothing but positive experiences when visiting this place.And my boys love their dogs.

Zach at L9 in Orem was the best. We are a family of 5, with a mix of beginning skiers and boarders, all getting outfitted for the first time with zero knowledge of where to start. Zach spent so much time walking us through everything, all options, sizing all of us, and giving us newbies a ton of tips! Ask for Zach— he’ll take care of you. You can tell this is his passion and he’ll hook you up at whatever level your at!!

I went in to Level 9 Sports in Orem on Saturday and was helped by Bryton Hadley. I can’t tell you how amazing he was to work with. He took extra time to explain all of the options to us. He checked on different sizes and styles. We bought a snowboard package for my son and he loves it. Best price around and Bryton was so kind and helpful. We will go back and back.

Pretty disappointed, they had a bike on ksl I was interested in but it didn’t have the full details (27.5 vs. 29 wheels). So I tried to call several times with no answer, then rolled the dice and drove down and it was not the size I was looking for, the listing had other incongruities from the actual bike and the price was inexplicably high. Sales person knew virtually nothing about it. Hopefully they tighten up.

The SLC store had me try on the right size boots. The Orem store sold me a size too big. I returned my boots from Orem to the Orem store and they charged me a 1 day rental 60$ and I got new smaller boots with the remainder.Just go to SLC the salesmen are more confident and knowledgeable.

These guys are the real deal. Don’t hesitate. Collin (boot fitter) got me to a whole new level of boot comfort. I had basically given up on trying to find a good fit after multiple visits to different fitters. Top notch service, saved me money where he easily could have upsold me on higher priced product that wouldn’t have been as good a fit. Honest, knowledgeable, would go back in a heartbeat.

Had an awesome experience returning a boot Id bought online that didnt quite fit right. Collin, one of the bootfitters, took a lot of time out to help me figure out why the fit wasnt right and get me into a better boot still in my budget and even spent an hour custom fitting it for me. I highly recommend!

Great for rentals. They are always willing to help with questions and suggestions. They are also knowledgeable. We rent here every year for a number of people. It takes time to figure out boot size for kids and adults. They always pull out what they have and let you let you try on till you are comfortable. When I was struggling with my ski boots after the first few weeks I went back in and explained my problem. They got together three of the staff and talked about what they thought was the problem and then traded my boots to address it. The newer (to me) boots fixed the issues.They have a good selection of accessories and we always check here first for anything we need. They also carry great basin coffee

Good prices on the skis. I was disappointed that after buying ski, binding and boots the skis were not prepped to ski . While they mounted the binding fine they left the factory wax (even left a sticker on the base) and did not detune the ski. When I asked about detuning the ski the sales girls said that is only for park riders. I have bought at least 20 pairs of skis in my life and never ran across a shop that did not get the ski ready to ski with a package deal. I have even bought used skis that were prepped from other shops.

Very poor selection of snowboard gear. Horrible customer service. The dude helping me was a total dousche. Kept telling me I didn’t know what I was talking about, and was angry because I didn’t like the fit of any of their boots. If you want good customer service, good inventory, and simply a better store overall, go to Nyman’s Ski shop in Orem.

We ordered downhill ski equipment online (so we never actually shopped at the brick and mortar store)—their website was really easy to use, they had great prices, and exceptional customer service!

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced at any retail store. I own a retail business and know how important google reviews are and I dont take giving negative reviews lightly. I have been in the Orem store 4 times. Two weeks ago I bought a pair of skis for my daughter, while there I had to ask to be helped not once but 3 times. None of the employees seem to care. They were too busy talking about who knows what. When I purchased the skis they told me they would adjust my daughters boots and bindings for free. However at the check out booth they told me that there machine was broken and I would have to come back Monday. I asked if I could leave the skis and boots there but instead of just letting me leave them there they told me to take them with me and bring them back monday because that would be easier for them? But they told me they could get it done in 10 minutes while I waited. I asked what time Monday they opened and I came a couple hours after they opened. I came back Monday and explained the situation to an employee who looked at me and said Yo bro we dont have that part in yet weve only been open a couple hours. He came across with a tone like I was the idiot, who didnt realize the part wasnt in? Anyways I left my skis and boots there that time and two days later they got the skis fixed. I was pretty annoyed but again I dont do typically give negative reviews on google. Then today I went in and bought some ski pants (only stopped by because they were on my way) and found some ski pants for my daughter. I got home and realized the snow pants were too big, so we went back tonight literally 3 hours later and they said the most they would give me was 50% of what I paid.. That was their policy on used equipment. Even though I had only had them for 3 hours and the pants had never been worn and still had the tags on. No one explained to me that policy, no one even told me the pants were used when I purchased them.I am giving this negative review because these guys have literally the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I had multiple bad experiences so I feel I need to warn others. Dont shop here, even if you need something cheap its just not worth it. I hope their other locations are better but their Orem store is filled with staff members who just dont care.

Great selection and the staff was super helpful and knowledgable. We worked with Collin and he spent a lot of time with me making sure I got the correct fit for ski boots, complete with custom footbeds molded to my foot shape. Would definitely recommend and we will be back for more!

Wow, Ive been impressed with the service I have received at the Orem location. They have done an excellent job at repairing two pairs of skis for me and also provided an excellent Tune. I feel bad for not remembering the name of the tech that helped me but he did a good job at reaching out to me to make sure that all my needs were met. Thanks for your awesome service!!!

I went in twice today to buy gear. I was greeted both times by different people who were not only helpful and nice, but eager to offer comments and advice. All bike gear was 35% off so i got some killer deals on a helmet, bike accessories, and new tires. Great service and pricing. We came in about 10 minutes before closing and the staff were more than happy to help out my wife with her ski rentals for the next day. We did have our information in their system which made things faster but it was a great experience. Definitely will be a return customer!

Stopped on my way through town to look at new and used skis. They have a decent selection but being a new skier Im unsure of what I need. The guy working was very arrogant and unhelpful when I asked any ski related question. It makes it difficult to get into a new sport when salesman are unfriendly and unhelpful.

Bummed I wasn’t received well when wanting to bring a bike in for maintenance. Maybe the person working was having a hard day.

Honestly probably some of the worst service I have ever had. They said that they would have my snowboard waxed and sharpened in just a couple hours and if I showed up between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m it would be ready to go. Later that night I showed up at 6 and it wasnt even touched. Then another employee said that it would be done in the morning . So I showed up in the afternoon the next day, and the board just had a layer of wax on it. After that a different employee said it would only take a couple of minutes to scrape off, and she told me to just hang out. So after about an hour or so of hanging out she then had realized I was still at the counter waiting for my board. And she speedily scraped it and gave it to me. Upon further inspection I had noticed the edges hadnt been sharpened. So I asked if the edges had been done. She then walked over and saw they where dull and said oh my God and grabbed the board and re-did the job in a short time. After that, I waited alone at the checkout for about 10 or 15 minutes while employees where off walking around the store. They seemed to be pretty stressed out and looked as though they where handing there problems off to one another. I did however enjoy for atmosphere and dog they had walking around the shop for the few hours I was there.

Ive been a customer of 2nd Tracks Sports and Play It Again for almost 5 years. Every year since I was a sophomore in high school I’ve brought my bike to them for seasonal maintenance. These are my go to guys. The management there is spot on. I had an issue with my binding purchased from the Orem shop and they were quick to the draw with a solution. Kenzie is by far the best employee of the shop. She is always willing to hook it up with a good deal and her customer service is spot on.

I have been buying ski gear for a couple years now here at 2nd Tracks and also at Level 9 and I have always had a very positive experience. The staff is friendly, helpful, and really care about the customer. Their prices are great which tops everything off. Ive had many interactions with Kenzie (sorry if I butcher the spelling) and shes always been very pleasant to work with. Ill continue shopping here even though its out of my way because of how good of a shop this is.

Today I came in because I was having major bike issues. Jack stopped what he was doing and helped me out with everything I needed for about 40 minutes. Before I came in today I would recommend 2nd tracks to a friend but because of Jack I will make sure that I recommend it to literally everyone I know. Thanks dude you were a huge help!

Walked in with boots that were so tight my feet would fall asleep before the first run. Came here for an appt. with their boot doctor and $20 and 20 mins later I’m out the door with much comfier fitting boots. Great, expert service!

Ive rented blow up SUP paddleboards several times now from the Orem location and have always had a great experience! The staff is nice to work with and the number of boards I need are always available. They were helpful of explaining how to pump up the board and pack it into the bag, etc. Always have had a nice experience with them! Plus the blow up SUPs are so easy to transport and set up. Very convenient and lots of fun!

We were buying a mountain bike from a seller on kSL and 2nd Tracks Sports inspected the bike on the spot for free, which totally helped us get a fair price for the bike. We were so impressed, my wife bought her skis at 2nd Tracks Sports. Then Shawn at the Orem location took the time to help us find a good solution to issues with the bindings on a snow board for our son. I highly recommend 2nd Tracks Sports.
