The electronics on my car suddenly all went haywire and they were the closest shop. I pulled in unannounced 30 mins before closing and they didnt even bat an eye, helped me out and I was on my way in less than an hour. Great customer service!

We bought a car from them after they showed us the services that had been done. When we got it home we had a ton of problems with it. Took it to our mechanic and he said he’d never seen such bad breaks or a dirtier air filter (white clouds were even coming out when we ran the AC!) The suspension was all messed up too. All these things were checked off as done by Gavito but it was clearly a lie and he absolutely refused to work with us or make it right in anyway! Don’t trust them!!! They are very deceitful!

My wife posted a poor review, and Sergio with Gavito Auto responded saying, “Your mechanic found out these issues which were the brakes and rotors that were replaced by our mechanic like I mentioned the parts had warranty but you kept insisting you wanted money back which we are not able to do.I saw the brake pads and rotors my mechanic took off the van, and if Gavitos mechanic replaced them before we bought it he must have replaced them with some he salvaged from a junk yard. When I called and talked to him about it the first time he claimed he did not know if his mechanics replaced the breaks, but in his response above he seems to have remembered differently now that his public reputation is on the line. Sergio also claims that he offered us a warranty on those parts, but the warranty was only for engine or transmission repair and the best he said he could do for us was give us a free break and rotor job the next time we were in the area and that it was our fault for not checking them before we bought it. When we test drove the vehicle we didnt think we needed to have the mechanic check it for things the dealer marked off on the maintenance log as having been done, so we didnt. I guess we learned our lesson.We filed an official report with the Division of Motor Vehicles against Gavito Auto for misrepresenting the vehicle. We will see where it goes from there.

A family member bought a car from here. They completely mis-represented the car saying they checked it for problems and they did not. They have had nothing but problems just days after purchasing. Be very leery!

The owner and I agreed online to meet at the dealership and check out one of the cars. I arrived later than planned and no one was at the dealership. After I waited for 40 minutes, the owner and a few employees showed up. No one spoke English which made it difficult to discuss details about the car. They offered to let me test drive the car but I never drove it out of the lot because it had several issues that werent shown in the online listing. It seemed like the vehicle wasnt inspected properly.

2 weeks waiting period for the repair on a car that was brand new to me. I didn’t even drive it a few blocks and had a o pay for towing. Awful dealership.

I bought a minivan from these guys on Nov 1st. Sergio signed an agreement that he would take care of the DVD player if it still didnt work when the remote arrived. Well when the remote arrived it still didnt work and its been months now and he still hasnt honored his word. He hasnt been good at returning our calls or texts especially after the new year. He promised the first week of January after my husband stated he might get his brother who is a lawyer involved. It is very unfortunate since the main reason I bought the van was for the DVD player. The van also started minor leaking soon after we purchased it. Because it didnt leak when we took it in they didnt do anything about it since it is basically a slow leak that shows stains overnight. So all and all weve had a bad experience. I will update this review if the customer service changes. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe they are still recovering from the holidays.Update:. We got the DVD player fixed 1/18/19 so they did finally come through.Update: Lemon Alert! I have now spent thousands of dollars fixing a number of major issues. Before buying from these guys I would definitely get a mechanic to take a look at it. I wish I would have!!

Sergio and the crew at Gavito Auto are top notch. We are moving across the country and started experiencing very concerning car trouble just outside of SLC.Seeing the good reviews, we pulled off the highway to Gavito Auto. As soon as we stepped in the shop, everyone was very kind and dropped everything to check out our car.The crew quickly deduced what may have been wrong, recalibrated the throttle body, and took a test drive with us. Throughout the entire diagnostics process, Sergio explained what he was doing and what they were seeing.By far the most honest and reassuring experience we have ever had with a mechanic.

Not only was the communication quick, but the customer service was amazing. They even went out of their way to install them for us and saved us the hassle of doing it ourselves later. I bought a little Toyota Camry from Gavito a few months ago. They are a really small, family-run business so it took them a little longer to process everything than you might get at a bigger auto business, but it was worth it! They were super kind and honest, and did everything they could to help me. Because they have such low overhead with so few workers, their prices are noticeably lower than other dealerships.

Worst people to work with! Told me a price and a time frame 6 weeks later car is still not done. When they said it was done I went to pick it up and the paint and body work were so bad I would not take delivery until they fixed it. After 3 more weeks car is still not finished but they wont do anything about it. Stay very far away from them, lied to my face and wont back up their work or honor their word!
