Man, I remember when the Circle only had Felix and a bunch of antique stores. Urth Cafe is a nice addition to Orange. Its fairly spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is pretty tasty. The lines were long for a weekend brunch but it went by quickly enough. We also got some cake slices for the road and they were a great dessert option.

Beautiful and cozy coffee, they have a wide variety of drinks and food (vegan options available), don’t get scared by the amount of people in line for order, they are really quick and there’s always tables available inside and outside of the place. Really good for any reunion, good also to study or work if you don’t mind that is somehow lousy on the inside. The outside tables have a great view of the roundabout and sometimes there is Live music on the street that you can hear from there, in the night it may be very chilly with the wind.

Pretty much my favorite Cafe and favorite location for Urth. I havent had a single bad thing here. Breakfast and lunch options are great. All coffee drinks, especially the Spanish latte, is top notch. They give you milk options and hot/cold options. Latte art is always on point. Just head here if youre looking for a Cafe. There is no need to look any further

Ive been a couple times for breakfast with the whole family and its been great both times. Family of 6 with no problem finding seating for all of us together.You order at the counter and then sit anywhere and theyll bring you the food. For savory breakfast I recommend the poached eggs salad with salmon. Both my husband and daughter loved the acai bowl.Good size portions, not out of control and can easily finish. Go hungry.

I had a cappuccino and a breakfast plate with sausage, eggs, bacon and potatoes. It was all really good. The service is really good too. The line moves fast.

Food quality changed.it’s quite different from a year ago.The sausage I had today is way too salty and I would prefer the “pre-alert” if its spicy.Nevertheless, its a good job that the coffee and bakery remained tasty as usual.And truly appreciate the always friendly servers now and then.🙏😋🥰👍

Beautiful and calming cafe, even with the busy busy busy rush! The food portions are large and fair for the prices. I got the Matcha Tiramisu and the marscapone cream on the top was soooo light and creamy from the first bite! The whole cake was very fresh and not overly sweet. My boyfriend got the Apple Pie with Icecream and it was soooo good it wasnt soggy it was flaky and crispy and the icecream was a very good true vanillabean. I highly recommend but be careful of the long long long line!

So yummy and they even had vegan chocolate cake. I got it 1/2 off because i think it was older but it still was beautiful and tasty. Sad they did not have the menu item I wanted so had to find something ing else.

Terrible service in a Saturday night. Long line out the door with only one register open, and employees are cleaning the already-clean dessert display shelves instead of helping customersAlso worth noting that they were spraying cleaner on shelves next to the desserts, so if your chocolate cake tastes soapy you know why

Urth caffe always shine for the delicious coffee and appetizers, today I decided to treat myself with this pizza huevos rancheros breakfast and a hot cocoa a delicious piece of Bread, . Jocelyn is a really humble young lady with a brillar customer service. Denise is the person delivering the food she is great happyI am the Bread of Life” (John 6:35) is one of the seven “I Am” statements of Jesus. Jesus used the same phrase “I AM” in seven declarations about Himself. In all seven, He combines I AM with tremendous metaphors which express His saving relationship toward the world. All appear in the book of John.John 6:35 says, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”

So far weve only eaten here once, but I loved the French toast and the granita coffee was delicious!!! They ran out of the beer my husband wanted but quickly provided him a different option! He really enjoyed his salad! The decor and ambiance were awesome as well and added to our experience!

Great place to come for desserts to close out a night. Little, flour-less, chocolate cake--amazing. So decadent with a glass of wine.Ive passed by here during the day and seen lines way out of the door. So they have some good stuff going on.The counter seating around the fire is nice for a little atmosphere.

Had a great breakfast although the lettuce in my eggs benedict meal was not properly rinsed, i will be back to try something else

Nice selection just like all other locations, and the same parking issues as all other locations. They get very busy, but I do appreciate that the employees still adhere to the covid guidelines. Make sure you get all necessary items before giving them your number as you wont see the server again as they get slammed.

Loved the food! But service is really slow and takes a long time to get your Boba and meal. Menu has great options and if youre in the mid for dessert, Urth has you covered! I highly recommend the green tea tiramasu

I somehow hadnt been to this Urth Caffe until recently, so I needed to test it out the proper way; a cappuccino.It was wonderful. A warm cappuccino on a cool day, sitting back with the plants and old brick. Definitely a place to go back to!Theres always going to be a bit of a line, but the line moves pretty quickly. Plenty of seating out front, but theres room inside if youre lucky. Quiet little nook at the back with a fire pit.

Love this place. Came here twice within two weeks, both times were great. The ambiance, the food, the service were all consistent both times. Will definitely return again as well as recommend to others.

Not worth the hype. Extra charge for everything, +$0.75 for just breathing near the building i feel like. Tasty, but not $7.50 for a tea/latte.

First time here food is tasty options. Counter slow but, can run faster if the staff is able to handle 1 customer/party per cashier rather than multiple employees helping the same party at 1 time.

Madhouse today at Urth. The lines moved quickly, but my to go order was a mess. Not only did they incorrectly direct me to the wrong lines twice, the carrot cake that I ordered was horrifically dense and under baked. Debating if I should finish this $8 slice or cut my losses and save the calories.

I dont know why it took me so long to try Urth. I think I felt it was super hyped and not worth the time or effort. Spent a wonderful afternoon in Orange and popped in to check it out. The hot chocolate I ordered was not very memorable. On the other hand, the desserts were! The cheesecake was amazingg and the atmosphere is definitely worth coming. Lots of room for groups to talk and sit for a long time. (P.S. we gave the flour-less chocolate cake a chance and it was worth it)

Always one of my first stops when I visit the orange circle, great food and drinks. They have some of the best coffee around in my opinion. And the decor/aesthetic is so cute! Our server today was very friendly, weve never had a bad experience with the food or staff here.

After lunch and a nice walk at the beach we decided to go and walk around orange circle. We walked in to this coffee place and decided to try out the coffee here. We tryed the Spanish coffee and a slice of chocolate cake. loved the place very friendly, great customer service. Loved the ambiance the place is amazing, I will definitely be coming back again. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet dinner or coffee.

I love the vibe at this coffee shop, great coffee, friendly staff who always have a smile. I love the Saturday lunchtime with live music a great way to spend an hour or two. Extra points for the WiFi, plug sockets at every table and letting me bring my dog, who always enjoys the attention she gets when we go. A must-visit for all coffee lovers!

Boyfriend and I decided to try a new place that was supposedly vegan friendly, he’s allergic to dairy, but almost nothing on their menu he could actually eat. He decided to get the oatmeal and call it a day. Everywhere I go for breakfast I always get the eggs Benedict, now i got it WITHOUT salmon, though of course there was a huge lump on salmon on top. I requested the eggs be cooked easy and they were hard poached. Absolutely NO hollandaise sauce in the dish, and the eggs tasted awful. I don’t like to be the person that sends back food so i tried to eat it but it was vomit inducing. The eggs were so under seasoned, there was no flavor other than the fishy grossness of the salmon, which i didn’t want, and made sure to let them know that. The line was out the door so we assumed this place was amazing. It is easily overpriced, small meals, long wait time, and bad customer service. If i tried to ask for a refill I would get dirty looks and they would speak Spanish in front of our table thinking we didn’t know what was said. It was truly the worst dining out experience I have EVER had. I know how hard it can be to work in a restaurant, I have worked for one for years, but this place probably shouldn’t be running honestly.

Was recommended to me. The place has a nice ambience, seems trendy, young crowd and the staff were very friendly. The only reason I dont give it five starts is because for the price, best bang per buck in mind and flavor is just okay.

A gem within a gem (I love Orange Plaza). Dishes and flavors are delicious and unique. Everywhere you go (multiple connected & differing rooms) and look at is enchanting. Oh and check out their hours of operation.

I almost never give 5 stars in my reviews. Only a very select few gets my 5 stars, because the establishment deserves it. And this certainly deserves it. They claim all of their teas and coffee are organic and heirloom. I can attest to it. Their coffee and teas are delicious and though artisan, they are not more expensive than Starbucks. Therefore, getting quality coffee and teas at the same price as Starbucks is a rare chance. Their dessert selection is very appetizing as well. If you want to unload and relax, definitely try this place. Their teas n coffee will not disappoint you. The picture is the Spanish Latte, Rising Sun Matcha Mocha Latte (Its a matcha tea with dark chocolate with a shot of espresso). The dessert is chocolate hazelnut cake and Urth fruit tart.

Ordered two iced spanich latte one strong and one mild caffeine, and we got hot instead. Then the white young guy who took our order insists that we ordered hot not ice! At the end manager asked the barista to redo our order, but this time they split the espresso shot in two drinks without making one strong and one mild as we ordered. None of the drinks have caffeine taste.

Fantastic! I was not mistaken about visiting this place to have some coffee. The staff helps me to get a coffee that would suites on my taste. I am very shocked by how amazing he assisted me. I am deeply impressed by how they handled the service correctly with no hassles at all. I will definitely come back again and again.

Its a nice little Cafe with decent food. Atmosphere is nice, cuteyou could say. Can be a little pricey for what it is, but its a great place to enjoy the sights of the orange traffic circle. I recommend going if you havnt been.

I had the Thai Red Tea Boba smoothie on my first visit. Very Good! The Organic Green tea was amazing! It was so busy during lunch. Great ambiance, love the rustic look too! I will visit again yo try something new. Just very pricey.

Would have been a 5 however wait for food even at 10AM was over an hour. Once getting the fresh and colorful food and coffee, it was a 5 plus. The chicken three egg omelette was very taste. The coffee wss fresh and deep. Very large cup for $3, but refills are $1. Relax and enjoy the food, people and atmosphere. I saw other people order many other food types and it all looked great.

This cafeteria is the best place for breakfast because the foods here are really great! It was yesterday when I was able to try this cafeteria, and I was surprised because not only they have amazing food but the best coffee as well. I really enjoyed my breakfast there, and Im sure that I will come back again soon. Thank you so much!

This place is heaven...the new building has a great historic feel, open, great energy and clean. Their options for teas, boba, lattes, both hot and cold are delicious and in great supply. The food options are friendly for all types of eaters. I had the breakfast burrito full of egg cheese beans salsa and the best part, guac! Ended up staying much longer than expected because of the great environment. Definitely is good place to come with family and friends for good food and good company.

Here was my first experience with Urth. Im skeptical of chains and there was some sticker shock when I saw the prices, but overall I was pleased with both the portions and the flavors. There were a good number of vegetarian options as well as a childrens section of the menu. I was put off by how obnoxiously loud it was in there, mostly due to the music blasting, and how customers needed to shout their orders at cashiers and then strain to hear the responses. The eating areas were large and mostly pleasant though.I do need to mention that the banana that came with my daughters grilled cheese was the worst banana Ive had in my life, so I suggest checking your fruit before you leave.Still, overall the food was good, as were the desserts. Id recommend the chocolate hazelnut cake in particular.

Update, today I decided to give it another try, my experience was even worse..... the person that was helping us was rushing us, he didnt even take the time to come to the pastry display and give us what we needed. Only things he said was anything else repetitively, really bad service, it really bothers me and dont appreciate when people rush me when Im buying something. F- they need more training and be more of service and be more helpful to customers.Honestly I didnt have a good experience at this place. The coffe is not what I expected and I got ham and cheese croissant, however I got it to dine in and it was cold🥶, the cheese cake need more love, the only reason I am giving 2 stars is because of the napoleon cake, its ok texture and flavor. The bread should of be warmed or ask the customers how they prefer their food and offer the option to warm your bread. Not what i expected. The place is nice though.

Urth was very popular at 11 a.m. on Sunday, but the wait to order was maybe 10 minutes. My breakfast burrito was good but not great. I cant speak about anyone elses food.

Place is cute right in the heart of orange old Towne circle. Plenty of seating in and out of the location. We chose outdoor seating we took our lil guy on a bike ride so it was perfect. We ordered the natural beer hash, acai bowl, and a scone and some coffee. All were well put together and delicious.

If you are in a rush or only want a quick cup of coffee, this place is probably not the spot for you. But if you don’t mind being in line 10-30 minutes to place the order, then waiting for your food/drink at your table, you can enjoy a variety of espresso, coffee and tea drinks, and a variety of breakfast options.I came in for a quick cup of coffee and waited in line 20 minutes. Luckily I had enough time to wait the line. Long lines are always a good indication that the place is good and people keep coming back! I’ll be back when I’m in the area again.

SUPER place!!!!!! The Urth Cafe, in Orange, is awesome!!!! There is a line out the door but, it moves quickly. It is worth the wait!! (Am I using too many exclamation points?!!!!) This place is alive. When you walk inside you are welcomed by a beautiful restaurant with interesting light fixtures, original brick walls and exposed ceilings. It is just great to be there. The menu is amazing!! There is so many delicious looking dishes. I changed my mind several times on the way to the counter. The beverage choices alone were numerous. I finally decided on the Chicken Tostada salad. GREAT CHOICE!! The chicken was very tasty. It comes in a toasty tortilla bowl and includes the freshest avocado, lettuce and vegetables, with sour cream, on the side. It tasted really good. I ordered a blended coffee and a huge piece of Napoleon cake. The drink was perfect. The cake was flaky and gooey. My daughter ordered one of the pizzas and my husband had a roast beef sandwich. Their plates looked beautiful. The portions are large and none of us finished our meal. Prices are extremely fair. There is plenty of seating. The servers were nice but, they dont need to do much, as the food ordering is done at the counter and then brought to our table. The restrooms are clean and attractive. I want to go back again and again and again!!!!

This is the most delicious cup of coffee youve ever had! This coffee shops food and service are also superb. Id like to purchase more coffee from this location because the coffee is flavorful and the atmosphere is welcoming. They also come across a fantastic, courteous, and accommodating staff. As soon as you leave, have a cup of coffee.

Thank you for your response... Would like to add that this review was done half way through the 2 hour wait for food. We expected to wait and for the entire Mothers Day process of eating out to take time we were prepared. Several people came to the table and we informed them one person was still missing the BREAKFAST BURRITO (seems simple). We had the lovely experience of everyone at the table being DONE except we were still waiting for the breakfast burrito. No one took responsibility and by some stroke of luck after talking to someone again at the front the burrito showed up and we all sat their watching the last person eat. I would only suggest that you ask your employees to see it through and take care of the problem no one took responsibility. I was visiting from Tennessee and travel often to California and love the area around the Orange Circle. After this experience we will pass on Urth Cafe. But hey thanks for the consolation prize of a one free glass of your fresh squeezed OJ.I realize it’s Mother’s Day but when 2 people get food from the kitchen and 20 minutes later the other 3 people are still waiting for food it just kills the Mother’s Day mood. Taking 30 minutes to order and waiting an hour for food. Why do business not prepare for holidays... cut the line # of people ordering let the kitchen catch up. Blame Covid and the almighty dollar

First time trying urth and it wasnt disappointing! You order, take a number, sit down and your order is brought to you. Would definitely return when Im in the area. Their dessert is pretty average because its been sitting out for a bit but its known for coffee anyway

This is a good place to study or chill with friends. The drinks and foods were all tasty and worthwhile. If youre up for a fresh place with beautiful architecture then this is a must to visit. They have also a big space for parking. Dont worry about that. Thank you very much!

I had seen this place being built and knew I wanted to come back and try it when it opened. Finally made it today and it was fantastic. We took visiting family for breakfast. Among the family members are some with dietary restrictions but Urth had something for everyone.The coffee of the day was excellent and we went back for lattes to go which were also amazing. Breakfast options were so plentiful that choosing was difficult but our choices were excellent. The kids in the group for the French toast which was made with huge slices of brioche bread, whipped cream & butter, and berries. Highly recommend.That barely covers the highlights of the menu. But be prepared that it is a busy place and the sound levels can get pretty high. The staff does a great job keeping the place clean and tidy and answer questions very promptly.

I was taken aback by the freshness and sheer quality of the drinks and deserts here. If you ever stop by old orange this is a must . (Includes great gluten free and non acidic options) as well as custom smoothies!!
