Great experience with Liz at Kaoud Rugs of Orange. I found a beautiful 100% wool rug, but wasnt sure it would look right in my home. Liz suggested I take the rug home with me that day (for free) and make a decision after seeing it in the space. If I didnt love it, Kaoud Rugs would pick it up from my home the following day. SO convenient! This made all the difference for me! Liz knows that these rugs are investments and she wants the customer to love what they pick - Im sure the whole Kaoud family feels the same way. Had a carpet that was close to 100 years old with one corner disintegrated from a plant sitting on it. Kudos to Jim Kaoud and Liz in the Orange, Ct store for talking me out of cutting away 1/3 of the rug to keep it uniform. Instead they cut around the compromised area and though not a perfect rectangle, the look is unique and fantastic. I recommend this store for anyone looking to bring a rug back to life. Thank you

Kaoud not only has great rugs, its people are knowledgeable experts and so helpful! While Im thrilled with the new 10 x 13 rug I purchased, it is the little extras that make the difference in service. Liz showed me many good options, and I felt that I had seen a strong array of choices. Once they put it down in the room, it was clear it was perfect. Her workers were fabulous - polite and accommodating. Best of all, she and Jim researched a problem I had with another rug and were able to find a weaver to fix it!

We recently had Kaoud Rugs and Carpet clean our 5 oriental rugs. Liz helped tremendously by giving us information on the services provided by the store and patiently answering all my questions and concerns. Their efficient crew picked-up and dropped-off the rugs on time and even spread them out in their proper places around the house. The rugs were cleaned very well and exceeded my expectations. On Lizs recommendation, we also bought pads to put under the rug - they were cut to match the size of our rugs and work perfectly. I would highly recommend using Kaoud Rugs for Rug Cleaning to everybody.

We came in to see Jim at Kaoud in Orange because we had an antique Persian rug that was in dire condition. The rug needed cleaning and restoring to say the least, there were many worn areas and most were worn all the way down so that the woven backing was visible . When Jim presented the rug to us again we were absolutely blown away !! The faded colors are vibrant once again and all the worn areas are magically gone . Jims work is so thorough and pristine that our beautiful and now perfect antique rug reflects all of his knowledge, passion and expertise for what he does . We are beyond happy with the results .

We recently updated the flooring in our home and couldnt be happier with our decision to use Kaoud Rugs in Orange. The entire staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Their patience was much appreciated as they walked us through the whole process. We were very impressed with the coordination with the vendor from sale to delivery and the communication throughout was great. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with these absolutely lovely people! They brought my bakara back to life- which was a gift from my recently deceased, beloved Mother. They were so kind to me, and even provided a courtesy drop-off delivery. All businesses should take note and treat their customers as nicely!

My Mom had left me a beautiful carpet in her Will and had made arrangements in advance to have it cleaned and shipped to me across country. I went into Kaoud Carpets in Orange when I returned to CT for her memorial service.After starting to explain the circumstances to Liz,she immediately recognized my Moms story and began telling me how lovely and sweet my Mom was.I told them that I wanted it cleaned and shipped to WA State. They looked at it, made some great suggestions; required nothing more than my address and gave me a ballpark price and ship date.They contacted me when it was ready to ship and I paid for their service and shipping. It arrived intact, beautifully bound and packaged.It looks amazing on my bamboo floor. My wife and I came to Kaoud Rugs and Carpet after shopping the competition 3 years ago. Kaoud Rugs was our last stop for rugs and carpet for our house for one main reason their outstanding customer service and care. Though price was very important to us Jim gave us the premium product Karastan at an extremely fair price. Jim is not a pushy salesman he just wants you to be happy with the product and service. The service does not stop at the store, the installers Mark & Moses who I call M&M’s are the best installers ever. Mark and Moses take their time and care about their work and pay very close attention to detail. Thanks guys for all the hard work. Kaoud is my # 1 choice.

Who would have thought buying rugs could be such a great experience. We wanted a rug for our dining room and living room.The challenge was our living room required a custom cut rug to fit our room exactly the way we wanted it. Should have written a review a couple of months ago, but we live out of state and time got away. Back a few months ago, my wife and I took my daughter and son-in-law, along with their two youngsters to Kaoud’s in Orange to pick out 4 rugs for their new home in New Haven. We honestly had the utmost BEST experience ever! And, especially since we had never been in before! The store is vast! Not only are there many handmade originals, but definitely well over 100 affordable machine made rugs in all sizes and prices. Liz, the gal who was in the front, was so personable and helpful. She greeted us with a smile and was eager to help us and listened to our needs. She worked with us in terms of our budget, style in mind and sizes of rugs my daughter’s family needed. We brought paint chip samples and a couple of cushion covers to help with the process of which Liz mentioned was quite helpful. We visited my daughter and her family over the weekend and we saw the progress they had made with their new home and, boy, did the rugs really stand out!! Perfection!! Thank you Kaoud and staff, and also to Liz! We referred you, Liz, to my brother in Oxford and also my sister in Seymour! Thank you again!

Simply amazing. I always avoided going to Kaoud thinking it was overpriced. Shopping for rugs, I went to Homegoods, a few furniture stores, and a carpet store. Kaoud not only had better quality, but their customer service and prices are unmatched. The young woman there was so nice and pleasant she was so honest I felt privileged. My home looks so pretty with the rugs I have purchased recently. I will return here for the purchase of future rugs for sure.
