I originally purchased my carpet through Home Depot and Home Depot had The Carpet Pros do the install. They were able to install even before my original appointment date, showed up on time, and installed the carpet professionally. The installers were very detail oriented and spent hours making sure everything was installed perfectly.

By far the WORST place to do business with!!!!I purchased flooring November 2020 from Home Depot, Huntington Beach store off of Warner Avenue. I was updating my master bedroom suite which included new flooring. Home Depot contracted Carpet Pros for the install. I picked a laminate flooring (as highly recommended by Home Depot- Steve, the salesperson). Carpet Pros did the install early December 2020. January 2021, we heard cracking coming the flooring every time we stepped in a certain area of the flooring. I contacted Home Depot late January and they sent out the person from Carpet Pro who actually put the flooring in. He told me that he wanted to level out the flooring to match my ceramic flooring in my master bathroom on suite. So he told me he put cement underneath the laminate (directly on the subfloor), to even out the ¼ inch to the bathroom tile. He thought that maybe the cement was cracking under the laminate. He said that the flooring needs to removed and replaced (without the cement underneath). I called Home Depot, Lorraine from installation said that they need to talk to Carpet Pros but that two boxes of new laminate and molding will be ordered to fix this problem.I contacted Home Depot with information, and they contacted Carpet Pros. It took 5 calls, February 10th, February 18th, March 4th, March 8th, March 15th (from me) to finally get a call back from Home Depot which generated a call from Carpet Pros. Carpet Pros said the install was done properly. They sent out an inspector from Carpet Pro, Wilson. He came April 14th 2021, 2:30 pm.I recorded his conversation with me. He said, (and I quote), “The cracking noise the floor was making was because we live too close to the ocean. The warranty would be voided because of where we live.” We are about ½ mile away from the ocean. He came here with the idea that the flooring was installed properly. He was very rude. He kept on telling me that the cracking we hear is not really the flooring but it’s when the weather gets cold. We live in Huntington Beach and NEVER had a problem with the weather and our flooring before. Our conversation was going around in circles with no resolve.Wilson said that he will file his report, and that Carpet Pros will contact me.I continued to call Home Depot and now Carpet Pros with no resolve. I reached out to Steve once again in May and told him I have the new laminate flooring in boxes but no installer. Finally, after four calls, I spoke to someone from Carpet Pros. He said he was new and would look into the reinstallation, but he said he needed a P.O. order number from Home Depot. With no call backs, I am beyond frustrated.Lorraine finally said she needed to see what the Carpet Pros report said, but she will reach out to Carpet Pros. I thought in a previous conversation with Lorraine, she already read the report dated back to April 14th, 2021,July 16th, the original installer called me and wanted to do the repairs Saturday July 17th. I scheduled him to come to reinstall the flooring July 21, 20212 2:00pm. When he took up the old laminate, the underneath was about ¼ inch of cement. The cement was all cracked, and the laminate flooring he took up was bucked. He told me that he is an independent contractor that Carpet Pros hires to do these jobs. He said that he contacted Carpet Pro months ago but they told him that this was Home Depot’s problem. The installer replaced the flooring with the new laminate. I told him what Wilson said about living too close to the ocean. The installer said that is NOT true. He installs laminate flooring to homes that are right on the beach.WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! NO cracking! The flooring is now level and smooth. After 8 months of nonstop calls, finally we have flooring that we can live with.NEVER never will I purchase flooring from Home Depot or any company that subcontracts out to Carpet Pros.Carpet Pros are an awful company with terrible customer service.

Stay far far away from Carpet Pros, they definitely are not pros. They are incompetent rip-off artists. They ripped up our old floor, claimed the floor was damaged and charged us additional $1,500 (in addition to the installation charge - almost impossible to refuse then your floor is already ripped up.) When I went to check, it took 2 people less than 2 hours to supposedly flatten and level the floor. If my math is correct, thats almost $400 per hr labor charge. What was worse, there were still multiple spots where there were still crack, not to mention uneven flooring. They then had the audacity to send over an inspector that claimed that the floor was installed to manufacturers spec. When I took his leveling stick and showed him a spot where it did not, he moved the leveling stick and claim that because he can measure it within the spec, the installation is good. RIP-OFF. I got them through buying the flooring from Home Depot. They were nice enough to refund a good chunk of the $1,500 after the store manager personally came over to inspect the floor himself. I begged them to stop working with Carpet Pros since they ruined my favorable feelings toward Home Depot. I will not deal with Home Depot again for my flooring needs if they still outsource to carpet pros.

Horrible customer service. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing! They dont call to give a time window. They lie. The installer, Enrique, did a great job, but the people running this place dont have a clue how to run a business. Would NOT recommend dealing with them. Home Depot needs to find a new company to partner with.

This company is horrible. They are unreliable and give you the run around. They called us the day before our kitchen floor was to be installed and said they would arrive between a 8-12 oclock window. Then they called on that day and said they wouldnt make it. My husband complained to Ronny the Mgr who promised they were coming Saturday at 8 a.m. sharp. Saturday came and the worker called and said he was running late. We cancelled the order, went straight to Home Depot who refunded the purchase on our Card. Its a shame this incompetent company represents Home Depot. Dont use them, youll be sorry.

Terrible. This place was selected for me by Home Depot. I had laminate floors put in a little over a year ago. The installer they sent to do the work did a half ass job and took more than twice as long as estimated. I was charged to have low spots leveled and another repair to my subfloor, but over a year later Im STILL finding soft spots in my floor. They sent him about a couple more times to try and correct the problem, but he still hasnt fixed all the problems. At this point Im just fed up. DONT EVER use this place.....EVER!
