Took my Expedition here after a BAD experience at Romano in Fayetteville. Service desk staff were friendly, smiling, and expecting me for my 1 p.m. appointment. We dropped it off and went to lunch. At 2:47 I got a call that it was ready for pickup. Two of three issues solved, and a part ordered to solve the third issue. This is what service is supposed to be! My experience at a previous dealership left Nye Ford a pretty low bar to beat.Nye Ford completely leapt above that bar and then some. I used Google reviews and had faith in what people were saying about them. I gave them a call, and the receptionist put me in touch with Jeff.I could tell right from the tone of his voice that Jeff was a perfect, no pressure salesman that told me to come on down. He had the car already parked right by the office for me to test drive, and helped me weigh out the pros/cons of a base model/upper model. Jess handled the financing and found me an amazing interest rate before I was even 2 minutes away leaving the dealership.When I came to pick up the vehicle Jess and Jeff walked me through all the details on the financing and using the vehicle. I recently bought a Nissan Rogue from Nye Ford and my salesman Dave Deforest went up and above what he needed to do . He helped me with many small details as well as the big ones . One of my favorite thing about this dealership is that they let me take the car home for a long weekend as many times as I need to . I love that . So many other dealerships will have the salesman in the backseat and only let you drive the car a mile down the road and expect you to invest a lot of money after one small test drive .

I had been searching for a new vehicle for the past year and am one of those buyers that does her due diligence with research. I was interested in a full size SUV but was reluctant to make the purchase without additional information and a test drive to make a well informed decision. What I began to notice during this process was how overwhelming it was, especially as a woman walking into a dealership. I had come across a situation in which a salesman and finance manager tried to intimidate and convince me into a compromise, and purchase a vehicle that didnt have all of the features that were important to me (e.g. 4WD, tow package, ventilated seats, sunroof). I had to spend over 7000 on my transmission and I also got 4 brand new tires on I ended up getting a flat not too long after my bf knows a lot about cars he literally couldn’t get the tire off to change it out with a spare I had they literally cranked it on there. There should be no reason you can’t fix a flat on the side of the rd. Not to mention I got another flat and does the same thing happen?! Absolutely I’mDone with Ford do not bring your vehicle here

We went to Nye Ford looking to buy a new car, not completely sure if we wanted to stay with the Ford Escape or upgrade to the Ford Edge. We looked at both cars and found a Ford Edge that we liked. See bottom.To start with, I love my band new 2020 high top extended Ford transit and I am appreciative they were able to find one amid their tough buying season. But they are not trustworthy in work or word. I am writing this review because so much has gone wrong, you will think I have to be making this stuff up. First, my 350 transit was only a 250 transit. The first paperwork I received and have a copy of says 350. The last paperwork omits weight class all together. I never thought to check the badge on the back door and didn’t think I had to. Only after I had outfitted The van my employee noticed it was a 250. I was speechless. They said sorry and admitted the mistake. They were only willing to give me two of the four snow tires I asked for in compensation. Second, The salesman told me I had 42,000 points equaling $420, to pay for the other two tires. - which by the way wasn’t what I wanted to use the money for, but did agree to. It turns out those points were only worth only Half what the fleet manager told me. I had to make up the difference. I informed the fleet manager, the salesman who sold me the van, of that mistake so he would not do it to another customer. I told him he should know this. He said sorry. Third, the undercoating that I paid for could not be done before I picked up the van because they had lost their undercoater. They assured me they would do it in the future and thoroughly wash the van as I was terribly concerned about the dirt and salt being trapped by the undercoating. My Van is now back for the third time for this. The first two times they undercoated it DIRTY, I have pictures. The salesman said sorry. He claimed it may have been too heavy to pick up but they never told me and sent it home as if it was done. The second time after I emptied about a thousand pounds or so of tools, they did a worse job. They sprayed over inches of mud and salt, I have pictures. The salesman said sorry. It is in there at this time for another attempt. But how can they ever get the dirt and salt out from underneath the undercoating - it’s trapped! Fourth, I used my thousand dollar contractor credit to install a security cage with swinging door. I got a cheap cage with a fixed door and they said sorry. They are supposed to be fixing that problem now, it is there for the second time, as we speak. In conclusion, I am overwhelmed with the poor workmanship and lack of knowledge by the fleet manager. I have the wrong Van and it is damaged by inexcusable uncaring workmanship. This is far beyond just misunderstandings. I don’t know how they have a five star rating but their official business website did knock me off if I tried to score them less than three.***Review edit: I spoke personally with Dan, who responded to my review. He graciously heard me out- even calling me back through dropped calls. I thanked him for his offer of 100% reimbursement for the undercoating but told him there was more to it. After getting the whole story he said pretty much- this is not the way the NYE team rolls. He reimbursed me for reworking the security door and addressed my ultimate concern-being the weight class issue. NYE beautifully installed a one ton suspension, which leveled my load and greatly improved handling. I couldn’t be happier with my van. I should have made myself more clear from the beginning with management. The moral of the story is: problems happen, that’s life. What matters is how professionally they are handled. Traveling home on October 29 when my tire went flat on the NYS Thruway. It was cold and raining steadily and nearly 6PM by the time I put on the spare and found my way to the NYE Ford dealership.It was at this point that the service department delivered superb service to a stranger in need(me). Even though the service department closed at 6PM, John Hardy and Andy Hoffman stayed past closing to replace the tire so I could travel safely home over 100 miles from their dealership.Because the service department went above and beyond for someone that likely will never need their assistance again, I can only assume that regular customers are incredibly satisfied with the team at NYE Ford.
