He will tell you what his professional opinion is and point you in the direction he feels would be the most economically feasible and logical way to go in fixing your vehicle or solving problems. Even if that means he feels that what should be done to your vehicle will not be done by him. I had a couple of nasty oil leaks from a recently rebuilt and installed diesel engine in my Ram 3/4 ton pickup. (The shop that rebuilt the motor went out of business shortly after my install). I had a couple of other shops look at the oil leaks, and I was told variously that there was a bad main seal, broken rings or a hole in a piston. Interstate was the only shop to thoroughly clean the underside of the engine and actually diagnose exactly where the leaks were coming from, which was a broken dipstick tube and a butchered turbo oil return line, both of which had been covered with silicone by the shop that installed the motor. Its rare to find an auto repair shop that not only is committed to quality, theyre also committed to NOT over-charging their customers. Well done, thanks.

Fast service that saved us literally thousands of dollars on a transmission job. They replaced a sensor and serviced our transmission instead of replacing the whole thing. Methodical and thorough, we will be taking our vehicles back when we need work done. I really appreciated their honesty and professional knowledge.

These guys are a nice change of pace from the overpriced, pushy mechanics. They are very reasonably priced and have good mechanics. I found them when I was looking for a good mechanic close to me and they had exceptional reviews on Google and I decided to see if everyone was right. THEY WERE! They gave me a quote on my husbands truck and thats what I paid! I recommended them to my father in law and they were awesome to him. He was very impressed. I even brought my car to them for a couple repairs and Stephan diagnosed and repaired everything, after checking with me before performing repairs without consent, all within a fair price. If your looking for a fair and good mechanic for your cars, these are your guys! 👍👍

TL,DR: go here, you wont likely find this kinda skill and passion anywhere else.I didnt really have a choice about going to this shop. Id stopped for gas and a quick bite at exit 99, and my engine decided I was done with my journey... Halfway between PDX and SEA :/I was pleased to find such a well reviewed place practically on top of me, and even more pleased that theyd even talk to me (near end of day on Fri).And their stars are *DESERVED*The fella who towed my car had a theory that proved to be very close to right before he even looked in the car. He had a workaround that had me back on the road in some 30min.I wish this place were anywhere near where my life takes me on a usual basis, because theyd be my place in a heartbeat!

This place is a life saver. My Windstar started to overheat about 3 miles from this place called them, let them know I was traveling and asked if I could be towed there and stay outside the gate overnight, they were super cool about it.The next day the hose was replaced, fluids were topped off and I was out of there by 11:30.Thanks Interstate Automotive.

As a former employee of an automotive training program, and someone who does 80% of my own car work including complete motor rebuilds, Im always skeptical of any auto shop at first. After my 3 repairs at Interstate Automotive, I can say with certainty now this shop is well worth working with.At first I brought my truck in thinking my transmission was going, and it turned out to just be a rear end bearing. It would have been very easy for them to sell me a $3,500 transmission rebuild, or even a brand new rear end for $2500, but instead I ended up needing just $800 in repairs. They have since done other work, and I could not be happier with their competence, speed, and extremely reasonable shop rates.

Starting off I would like to clarify I WAS SHOT AT WHILE DRIVING. WHILE DRIVING. Which in turn shattered my rear passenger window and my back windshield entirely.I called Steffen and he was more than obliged to help me put a cover over the back windshield so I could drive back to Seattle (I had covered my window so that wasn’t a worry). He went out of his way and found the perfect cover which didn’t budge on the ride back! He taped it very securely and I couldn’t be happier.If anyone ever shot out my windows again, I will definitely be coming back.

The staff is made up of automotive mechanics, not just parts- replacers. In business 3 decades. They did the clutch on my 01 Dodge diesel pickup, and took care of my brakes flush and-fill. I have no complaints whatsoever. By asking me good questions they determined I needed a beefier clutch due to the power enhancements made to the vehicle. They told me about other items that need attention, but did not attempt to pressure me into buying more services; they simply offered to take care of the items if I wanted them done while the truck was there. Reasonable prices too given the high level of professional skills and experience provided to the customer. I feel if you take your vehicle here you too will be pleased with the outcome.

I have taken 2 of my cars in both times the problems were taken car of the first time. They are knowledgable and professional. They were done sooner than I expected. My drivers side window mechanism broke and the window wouldnt go up. They ordered the part needed right away and had it overnighted to the shop. They have me a large garbage bag to put over the door in case of rain 😊 I went in when I received the call that the part was in. The mechanic started on it right away and I was out of there in just under an hour.

Great mechanics and techs. They have done excellent work for me with three trannys in 30 years. Fair prices and superior attention to detail. Got a break on multiple vehicle issues over the last month.theyre not the cheapest but a few $ is worth it for their work. They race cars around the nation and win a lot.As for Charled review I would say that everyone makes mistakesBut also many issues are multifaceted and some are symptoms and some causes but damage is damage and he had to agree to any repairs. If he was a mechanic he would know this and is probably venting because hes frustrated.

The own never had time to talk

I scheduled an appointment because of some issues that had, and ended up spending over $700 only to continue having the issue. I went back and talked to the owner and he said I needed to address my engine issues, so I did, but the transmission issue remained. After putting 2 sensors on myself I fixed my issue, and all I got from Interstate was a huge $700 bill, new throttle sensor, and a new cable. I absolutely will never send anyone here, and I feel as though Ive been taken advantage of.
