I took my 1974 nova here about two weeks ago with quite a bit of work to be done on it. I had to search for a bit to even find a place that would work on my older car but these guys were up to the challenge. I needed my carb tuned, my engine timing fixed, my brakes changed, two rear tires, and a stall converter removed and replaced. I had only bought the car 2 days before taking it to them and had driven it very little beforehand but I knew it had some issues. Gary and Ken have been working with me very diligently to make sure I got the right things fixed and in a timely manner. Theyve really changed the way my ride runs and Ill be bringing it back here for all my needs.

Honest and trust worthy but not thorough. I brought in a Forrester for some work on the belts and asked to keep the faulty parts. They told me they boxed them up and put them in the car. Nope. Got home and nothing there. They also didn’t disconnect the battery when working on the car, must’ve crossed some wires, and blew the fuse to my heater. I drove from Olympia to Portland in the rain with no heat or defroster. When I left them a voice mail explaining my disappointment, they never returned the call. They also forgot to put two poppers back on my motor cover, so it was flopping around.

Ive tried a few places in town, and they are keeping my business now. Smart, honest, and friendly. If you are new to town, this is a good place to bring your car.

Mike’s is the only shop I take my vehicles to in Olympia. Been going there since 2015. I’ve always had excellent service from them. They offer courtesy rides to get you to work or pick you up after your vehicle repair work is completed. The employees operate with high integrity and I am constantly referring friends and family to them. They communicate well and do honest work! Thank you Mike’s Team!

A little slow at an hour to change oil but they vacuumed my carpet.

Although I have not had my vehicle repaired by them (yet), when I did call Ken was very helpful. I could tell that he went out of his way to provide me with more information than the other places I have called. He explained everything in easy to understand terms, and was very personable. I would also like to mention that the quote they provided me was far lower than others I have received.

Castrol Lube is Plum Street Motors not on Plum and is also known as Mikes Auto. When I called, Ken answered, not Mike. I needed a tow and everything was efficiently organised including the repairs.

These guys are great! I have had to have some major repairs done to my vehicle in the last few months and they have been awesome with their pricing. They even offered to give me a ride home!

I finally brought my car in after 3 cancellations. They were polite and professional. My old van needed a lot of work but Mike worked with me to get financing and got the work done quickly. It runs like new!

This place is clean, friendly and quick with service. Cindy is always on top of greeting and taking care of people. Also they go above and beyond making sure everything is in check even as far as calling and offering to take care of something youve space on taking care of yourself. *Bonus they send you reminders for your oil changes* Thanks you guys, youre all amazing.

Owner of the Hyundai that I drive took it here because we didnt have time to wait for the weekend to take to our usual mechanic. I heard that the employees were pleasant. $450+ and a diagnostic later, the car appears to be fixed...for about 1 day. It started having the same problem again and got progressively worse, then unsafe to drive. Few weeks later, took it to our usual mechanic (not here). He test drove and examined the car, then replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump. Car runs perfect, engine light now off. His total for parts and labor was less than half what this place charged for not fixing the problem. Not impressed with this place. Id give fewer stars, but its not CPLEs fault that the car owner didnt come back in to complain (I would have).

We took our car in as it wasn’t starting and mikes helped us try and get a warranty for a brand new battery from O’Rileys (battery was from there and was put in less than a year ago) unfortunately we couldn’t get warranty because of O’Rileys policy but mikes were really friendly and had fast service. and we got ourselves a new battery with THEM and with a warranty. Thanks for the great service, we will always come here for our car trouble from now on!

Heater core went out on the mom van. When I dropped it off they offered me a ride to work, which I appreciated but choose to walk since it was down the street. Car was done early the next morning. Every one was super nice and helpful. The only painful part was the bill. $800 but I am sure that would have been the cost wherever I had taken it. Highly recommend Mikes!

Was here on vacation and my car would not start. Called several other places and this was the only repair shop that wanted to work on my car, older model van. They called with the diagnosis before working on it and the bill was very close to the quoted price. Techs were knowledgable and friendly. At no time did I feel as if I were lied to or taken advantage of in this process. Would highly recommend.

Guy driving the company car was driving incredibly reckless. not sure why he though that would be a good idea, especially in a company vehicle. netherless, im never taking my vehicles here.

This morning I was at a doctors appointment on Westside Oly. My battery died. Contacted Mikes and they had a VERY nice guy at my location within FIVE MINUTES!! He followed me back to the shop. Where even though all the racks were filled with cars the AWESOME young man at the counter (sorry forgot your name) made it happen so they tested my charging system and replaced my battery outside. I think from the time at my location to the end was less than THIRTY MINUTES. These folks are AWESOME!! And though I usually have new jeeps, I will take my vehicle problems to them from now on.
