Just installed my bay window from Karen. The window came out beautiful. Karen Lapura was awesome to work with. Her experience played a huge roll in me selecting Pella Windows. Her designs helped me choose what was best for me, as there were multiple designs. I will be ordering more windows from Karen in the near future.

Super bummed about my experience. Wanted to receive a quote from Pella because I am aware of the high Quality product they use. I had called to schedule an estimate and was told that a contractor would need to come to the house for the day and time I had scheduled. my appointment was canceled by Pella, but a Pella representative showed up. He took measurements of windows and a sliding door that I wanted replaced. Since the sliding door was going to be larger than the original install, he told me they needed to source it out to a contractor. I stillRequested a quote to have my windows replaced. Weeks have gone by and I hadn’t received any kind of estimate. When I reached back out, I was told that the contractor deemed this job too big and was unable to do the work and so I still ask for the window estimate. I have yet to receive any estimate and I am pretty sure Pella cannot do a simple replacement of windows that I was looking for.

I called Pella a couple times in the past year and a half for an estimate to have my Miami Dade Style 1970 Anderson Aluminum windows replaced... Yes itz time‼️👍🏻☀️Justin was the most recent Sales guy who came out to take a look, to share with me Pellas offerings... I went with the fiberglass option... I have hurricane shutters, so dont need the highly expensive 159mph rated glass... He was attentive to my questions, my design needs...Replacing windows is not a cheap adventure... it was after a visit from the local roof inspector...as my roof had just been replaced... I told him about my window project... he said Pella is the best company that you can use for replacement windows, they finish every detail of the installation i guess he (the local city inspector is the guy that signs off on the permit... He has seen things... The windows have not been installed as of yet, but I am fully confident it will be a pleasure once they are‼️👍🏻☀️🪴

Quality. Comfort. Peace of Mind.Thank you Pella for replacing all of our windows and doors over the past 8 1/2 years. This project consisted of 19 openings and seven phases. These beautiful and stylish windows and doors add significant value to our home and allow us to maintain a comfortable inside temperature.Fifteen openings were replaced with Pella Impervia windows/doors (two of these are sliders), two Pella 350 vinyl sliders, and two Pella fiberglass entry doors. All of these windows and doors meet energy-efficiency standards, and they significantly reduce exterior noise. They came with lifetime (limited) product warranties, and the most recent phases came with ten-year labor warranties as well. With our frequent tropical storms and hurricanes, it gives us great peace of mind knowing that every opening in our home now meets the local Florida wind code standard of 150 MPH.Our Sales Consultant, Dave Osborne, is so remarkable that we feel confident recommending him to future customers so that your experience will be smooth and successful, too! Thanks again Dave and Pella for taking such good care of us.

The windows havent been installed yet but they are known for their quality and value.I wanted everyone to know that the salesman, Garrett was fantastic. He wasnt high pressure, showed us whatever we wanted to see, was honest and went out of his way to answer any questions we had. We got multiple estimates before going with Pella. I felt one of the salesman that came out wasnt being honest with us and 1 didnt make it passed my front door because he refused to bring in samples until he wanted to bring in samples.Garrett seems to understand the customer is always right. I would definitely recommend Garrett. If youre looking to replace windows call Pella and ask for Garrett to come out, you wont regret it.For the supervisor at the Pella office where Garrett works, you are very fortunate to have Garrett in your corner.

We replaced a 40-year-old sliding glass door. We obtained three estimates and ultimately choose Pella because of their reputation. The door is now installed, and we are beyond happy. The quality of the door is truly better than we could have ever imagined. From the initial meeting with the sales rep, Tony, through the expert installation with Adam and Jarod, we were always kept in the loop. Robert Mahan, the install manager, even stopped by shortly after the install to make sure everything was just so! Do not hesitate to go Pella!

I scheduled an appt. to have an estimate on an oversized patio door and 10 windows, which Id already received price quotes on from Lowes. I didnt expect them to be less than Lowes, but I did expect them to be comparable simply because theyre THE SAME COMPANY THAT MAKES THE WINDOWS. The price differences are laughable. The markup on the door alone was 60%. Thats not a typo. 4k door (impact glass, oversized), they wanted 6500. When I asked the rep to explain the difference, he immediately got contentious and started talking about Lowes profit margins. Thats where I ended the conversation.Unless youre feeling charitable/philanthropic, do not waste your time with this outfit. Get your materials from Lowes and find your own installer (it took me three phone calls to accomplish that). Im sure these guys will espouse the benefits of a 60% markup - but dont be fooled. Pella has a lifetime warranty on windows and doors, and labor by a licensed contractor is only, conservatively, 70/hr.Follow up: even though I cancelled my in home appt. due to the above, a very polite, congenial sales rep showed up anyhow - hed never been notified that Id cancelled. No surprise there given what Id already witnessed. When I explained to him what happened, and showed him a print out of the Lowes pricing, he apologized on behalf of his team, and said (and I quote) Can I take pictures of that? We cant touch those prices. I told him it might be time to find a new job. When your sales reps take pictures of Lowes pricing to take back to their office with them, it might be time to rethink your business model.

We ordered our windows in mid April 2020 through our salesman, Tony Magnelli (a first rate salesman- no pressure, knew the product, and acted in a professional manner without once speaking negatively about the competition). Our window installation was initially scheduled for June 16, 2020. Due to a slight delay in getting the permit from Pasco County, the installation was rescheduled for June 18, 2020. The installers (Irving and Thomas) arrived within the time window provided and were extremely friendly, respectful and professional. They installed 11 replacement windows in our Park Model home in one day, and they did a fantastic job. Another young man (Pedro) came the following day and reinstalled the vinyl siding that had been removed for the window installation, cleaned the windows inside and out, and cleaned up outside to remove any debris. Pedro too was extremely professional, respectful and friendly, as was the gentleman working with Pedro (I did not get his name unfortunately). Finally, the Pella Installation Supervisor (Robert), who was also extremely helpful, friendly and professional, was on hand to oversee the installation and final approval by the County Building Inspector. Our inspection passed with no issues! 👍Overall, we were very impressed with the sales presentation and window installation provided, and we would definitely recommend Pella Windows and Doors of Oldsmar for your window needs.

Beware when you are spending big money on these windows. I have thousands invested and was informed that these have been discontinued and they will not service them. My only option is to remove blind assemblies and send them to another vendor for repairs. I spent the money on these because I thought this was a full service company. Not so.

Do not use this company. I was told by the salesperson that Pella had their own installers and did not sub contract their work out. I was lied to. I waited over three months for my windows to come in, only to have a husband and wife come out and attempt to install them. The whole process is a fiasco. It is costing me $30,000. I am contacting the local TV news station about this.

I guess I should’ve read the reviews before purchasing. A crew came out and replaced the windows in 2 days. I was left with some stucco damage after the install and was told someone would be out within a few days. After multiple calls & emails with no reply, I’m 4 weeks in and still do not have an ETA when the job will be completed. Sadly it’s probably 2 hours of stucco work that’s holding up everything else. Communication is practically non-existent and literally have no idea when the job will be complete. I chose pella hoping to avoid issues like these... so much for that.UPDATE - 09/16/2018Project is still not done. Awaiting final touch up on one of the windows and as usual, no response from anyone. Nearly 8 months from signing the paperwork, 7 months from payment in full, and 4 months from initial installation. I saw no additional progress from the standard social media response from Pella either.

I have Pella windows and doors in my home and lately one of the windows started to leak from the wooden frame.I called Pella windows directly and told them I would like to replace the wooden frame or repair it. The mechanism of the window is fine, opens and closes well but the the upper part of the wooden frame is leaking . Also the sliding doors in the living room does not open easily. They sent me a repairman who told me I had to purchase new windows and sliding doors and nothing could be done to repair them.At the time I set up the appointment with Pella, they asked me for my credit card and told me there would be a charge of 150.00 for the repairs. And even though their repairman did not make any repair, they still charged me 150.00 dollars for the trip.Their customer service is really bad. They do not offer a solution for their customers and they do not stand behind their products . They just want to sell you new windows instead of servicing them. It has been a nightmare, for when I purchased my house it had 10 Pella windows installed and, at some point, all of them needed maintenance . Calling Pella was always useless even though I never learned my lesson. I always called them first and spent money for repair visits that were never repaired. Always end up having to find a carpenter or a local window glass shop willing to fix what should be Pellas job. Very frustrating !Remodeling time is coming soon and I can assure you, Pella windows are not part of my project.

We purchased Weathershield panels 2013 with our new Pella windows. We incorrectly assumed the rails into which the screens are placed would be properly sized. We were wrong. I contacted Pella and requested the lower rail be adjusted before Hurricane Irma strikes. Initially, I was told they could only make the service call mid-October, and then, I was told the shields are no longer under warranty. I am beyond disappointed in Pella. We chose Pella because we were of the impression it was a reputable company. Shame on you, Pella, for inadequate work and for shirking your responsibility to correct your error.

Last October I contacted Pella via Website for an estimate. A gentleman came in a week later, told me that he run of business card, so I did not get his name. Since I had 7 estimates before, I had all 43 windows and 7 doors draw out with measurements, he went through with me and told me that he will get back to me in a few days. He never did. Now my project is complete with CWS window and doors, it was not easy, but after I saw the post. I am glad the salesman did not get back to me. and I did not install Pella.

Wow! I can see why this place gets bad reviews! Over 11 days ago I called as I wanted someone to come out and give me an estimate on window and doors with hurricane glass. The woman who answered the phone said a sales person would call me. A week went by and no one called. I contacted this business again on Tues. 10/10, and the same woman said something about the day before being Columbus Day (Really? Even the schools were open. I didnt realize Pella adhered to the government holiday schedule) and that someone would call. I was fine with that. Another week just went by with no contact. I just called now, and the same woman answered. This time she said that due to the recent hurricane they were really busy, and she was sorry, but “Sometimes things like this happen”. –exact words. So nonchalant, as if having a sales person not return a call after two weeks was no biggie. Ummm how about a phone call just to say Were swamped, I will get back to you by this date.... I am patient. I realize the hurricane has held things up. I would have waited. But no phone call at all? This is how they run their business? Our home is huge and on the water. This job would have been a biggie. But I guess they must be doing so well that they dont even return calls. Well good luck with that!

We bought a condo, and one of our old Pella windows was leaking. The surrounding drywall was soft and wet, a sign of an obvious water intrusion. I called and scheduled a service call. They charged $150 to come out. So I was hopeful that we could find a solution. The guy came out, took a look, and told me that the window isnt leaking! He kept insisting that building materials naturally have moisture in them, and that the softness in the drywall was probably due to an old leak that had been repaired. What a waste of time and money. At the time the Pella rep came out, I had a handyman and the condos maintenance man over. Both agreed that the Pella reps response was idiotic. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They are thieves. Beware.

I had a terrible experience with Pella and do not recommend. They installed a fixed slider on my patio in place of an old pocket slider. They were paid to frame and patch the stucco as well, but the installer failed to frame it even after I told him it was part of the job and showed him all of my paperwork. It also took two different stucco crews to get it done properly. All said, it took about five different technicians coming out and many, many phone calls and emails on my part to get the job done. There is a serious lack of communication happening over there. I have more doors and windows to replace, but will be taking my business elsewhere.
