If you go to this store, you are blessed if you can work with the manager Chelsea. Shes like a friend/sister when you come in the door. So energetic, willing to go above and well far beyond to make sure you find everything you need and youre satisfied. All I had to do was describe what I was looking for and Chelsea was off running around the store, gathering all my goodies to try out. She even skipped her break because we were making progress on a concealer to match my skin tone. I found everything I needed and even came back later in the day to get the Chanel perfume that was her favorite and had me smelling good all day. This store is super fun and addictive. I love it! Chelsea is the BOMB!!! Ive never had a better associate/manager experience anywhere in my entire life. You can tell she is an expert and loves what she does. I love her!

I walked around for a half an hour and nobody asked me if I needed help. There was one lady helping everyone in the makeup and when I mentioned it to the girl up front she said oh really okay is that all?? What the.... Ive literally doesnt thousands of dollars in a short few years in your stores and I feel like it doesnt matter. I dislike bad reviews because I know everybody has a bad day once in a while but thats the 3rd time in that particular store.... hire better! Please, the excuses should be about over!! .... sincerely bummed😔

I had ordered online at their website and needed to exchange some items they allowed me to do so in their store. The staff were very nice and very helpful.

I had a horrible experience at a prior Ulta store the girl at the counter was rude and argumentative with me.I ended up taking my order and deciding to call Oldsmar for a stock check on the item I was needing.I spoke with Amanda and she was fantastic! Not only was she able to tell me the item was available but she told me I did in fact have the correct item it was just a matter of Redken re-labeling and updating their bottles; which occurs every couple of years! I am so glad I called and was told this saving me an unwanted trip. I just wish the other Ulta was as educated on their products and labeling as this Ulta. I will definitely be moving my pickup orders to here going forward. Thank you Amanda for helping me out! I appreciate you!

Update:I went to the store today to talk to the manager ( Sarah) who was not present that day to tell her about what happend. She was extremely rude and disrespectful and ultimately walked away from me, leaving me standing at the aisle telling me I had enogh. I guess she is not trained to handle a customer complaint. This is just wrong!!!I go to this store once or twice per month. Customer Service has always been ok, not great but today it was the worse. They hired a security guard that stares intensely at you and moves if you move when shopping. What a horrible experience. We go there to shop and spend money, thousands a year!! If you have a theft problem please make sure that your solution doesnt involve your customers, the real ones, that go to spend money to feel uncomfortable.

Usually I call this place my home away from home but never again. I may just switch to Sephora completely.Day after Christmas me and my adult daughter are looking to use our gift cards given to us by MIL. We are looking at the foundation and we are aware there are no testers because of Covid so my daughter decided to get a foundation, grabbed the box and started inspecting it to make sure it was unopened. I’ve been burned by Ulta putting returns back on the floor so we know what to look for.A lady who “works” there, Arlette, who never asked if we needed help starts berating my daughter and when we tried to explain what we were doing, she continued to tell us not to open anything. Told her got it, then she turns around and asks 2 different people if they need help.You know what Arlette?I’ll never step a foot inside that location again all because of you. You should be ashamed and if you hate your job so much you should get a new one!So disappointed...

The best customer service EVER! Every time I walk in I am greeted with a smile and a hello. I go there so often I know most of their names and NEVER have I been treated rudely. Always very helpful with questions, tips, or concerns. I’ve only recently gotten into makeup and face care, so I tend to ask A LOT. I wish I knew all of their names but, here are a few. Jean, Julie, Amanda, Arlette, TJ, Arden, Samantha, and Sara. Arden cuts my daughters hair and she’s absolutely AMAZING and TALENTED with what she does! Keep up the good work, I appreciate you!

I just got home from this store and rushed to write a review. I’ve been here a few times and it’s pretty decent. There’s a lot of staff walking around and they’re all helpful. I bought a few things and needed to return a few as well. Addison helped me at the front counter and was extremely pleasant from the moment I approached her. She was everything a model employee should be; kind, compassionate, understanding and thorough. She helped me out more than I even imagined, and I am so so so grateful! She even went out of her way to make my young daughter’s experience at the store even better. By far the best Ulta interaction I’ve ever had! Thank you, Addison!!! We need more people in the world like you!

The people there are so very nice. Expensive items, but worth it

Went in to the store to purchase some shea moisture soap. She offered to order it and have it delivered. Before we could ask questions,the transaction was complete. She never verified the address the product was going to. Now the product is being sent to the wrong address,and no one seems to be able to resolve this issue. Spent 20 minutes in the store on the phone with customer service. Went home and called three more times- they cant change the address not can they cancel the order. The manager of the store never returned my call. I have no receipt or proof of purchase since they said I would get an email confirmation. Never did. I had to end up calling my credit card company to stop payment. All of this could have been easily avoided had the associate been trained to verify the customers correct address before placing an order- common sense. So I wasted a good part if MY day trying to fix something that was no fault of my own. Really poor customer service,when the store is practically empty...

I feel like a kid at Christmas when I visit Ulta. Everyone is very nice and willing to help. Love the variety of products and the savings I get when I use my Ulta credit card. Great location too. One of my favorite places for makeup, hair and skin products.

Very nice store, great selection, very very poor service. There were more employees than customers, the employees were talking amongst each other, and I was unable to receive help. I said excuse me twice trying to get some employees attention, but unsuccessful. They were more interested in the other employees coming in for their shift. I walked away from for employees talking amongst themselves in the aisle and left the store with out anyone asking me if I needed help. I now understand why they are not busy. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Emily colored, highlighted and cut my hair and she was fantastic! I highly recommend her! She really listened, took her time and cared. Very knowledgeable! The customer service of the Oldsmar store is the best of all the many Ulta stores I have visited.

The Woodlands Plaza ULTA has friendly, knowledgeable staff, and they are providing curbside pickup services during the COVID19 pandemic.

Lots of great makeup and beauty supplies, but this not the old Ulta!!! In order to get makeup tips you have to pay for a lesson. And the ladies standing around doing nothing are not there to help you, but to tell you if you want tips or to see which items you should buy for a special occasion... you have to pay for it. I have been going to Ulta all over the country as I have travelled for my job. This was the rudest and most unkind group of “beauty professionals(?)” I have EVER encountered. I guess I should cut up my Ulta credit card, as this is the location nearest to me.

I hadn’t planned on getting my hair and makeup done for an event, and went in hoping there would be an opening for the current day. The staff were helpful and kind. They were able to fit me in. Alex did an AMAZING job on my makeup. I’ve had issues with getting my makeup done in the past, and she really listened to what I wanted. She NAILED it. Kelly, did my hair, and she was also awesome. I couldn’t have been happier with the result. Thanks ladies!!!

I had my hair done by Lauren for my wedding day. She did a fabulous job. I gave her my idea and sue went with it. I couldnt ve happier with how it turned out! I had my make up done by M.A.C. artist Amanda (yes, we have the same name. Haha!) She was awesome! I do not usually wear make up and she made me so natural looking. Both of these ladies were wonderful! I will absolutely be back in the future! 5/5 rating from me!

I called to see if the store carried a specific item. I was told by the associate, yes, they carried the item. So, I drove to the store immediately to pick it up. But, when I arrived they did not have it. But, I was given several excuses. 1) It could have been a new associate ( I mentioned the person just answered the phone hello) 2) They were having phone problems ( ?? She realized I conveyed someone answered) 3) The team lead stated it could be a product that was replaced, since I did not look on their website (??) I was apologized to for the inconvenience. Going into the holiday season lets hope they dont appear to mislead customers (who call in to ask before driving there). It could be a mean way of getting people in the store.

I have been to multiple Ulta locations in my life, I spend thousands of dollars a year on skincare, hair care & makeup. I came into this newly opened Ulta that is across from my community, East Lake Woodlands. I came in right after a Camp Gladiator workout, I was greeted very unprofessional & as if they were miserable to be there. I walked around the store for about 30-45 minuets and I can’t tell you how many times I was looked up and down like they thought they were above me or something! It was pathetic, mind you I am a State attorney and make a substantial amount of money, I am assuming since I was dressed in workout gear & had no makeup on that I am beneath the girls. It was like it was a chore to help me or even ask if I was finding everything alright. The girls who work here are very rude, disrespectful & unprofessional. The girls there are not very advanced in makeup in my opinion coming from a mother of a very successful hair stylist and who knows about ‘beat’ faces and I personally don’t get why these girls have such huge disgusting egos when they don’t even have anything to back it up. I politely put my things back where I got them and left without my over $400 basket of goodies and drove to another location that I don’t mind to drive father for, the other stores girls are amazing. I would not recommend this Ulta to anyone. Congratulations on a amazing start to this NEWLY MONTH old location.

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. The last 3 times I’ve visited this store has been a disaster.I was told they were completely out of a product that the app told me they were fully stocked in. “Don’t use the app, it’s never accurate”, is what she told me. As I am exiting the store, an entire display (fully stocked) of this product is sitting right there!They never know when big name brand product launches are going to be, or they are too lazy to look it up or ask someone to find out for the customer. When I’ve asked them to “check the back” for an item that seems to be out of stock on the floor, the response is “ma’am I’m pretty sure we don’t have any back there. We’ve been out since Christmas.” So I go looking around myself and find another supply of the product located at the front of the store. No help at all and no clue about their own inventory!I am never purchasing at this Ulta again and I am telling my friends to go elsewhere too.

I am so happy this location is open! It’s bright, clean and everyone is so warm and welcoming. I was greeted by the salon manager when I walked in and she helped me with some great hair products and gave me helpful hints for my curly and frizzy hair. I’m so glad i had the time to get my hair cut and styled. It is by far the best cut I’ve ever gotten! I can’t wait to come back in for my color! She then introduced me to Julie at Lancôme to answer my skin and makeup questions. She was amazing because she is knowledge in all of the brands and I didn’t feel pressured to just buy from her. I’ll be back and will definitely pass on this hidden gem of a store and salon to my friends.

I have a natural wave until my hair hits a certain length and since I want the best of both worlds I decided to try for a perm. I went in with low expectations be cause my last perm had that methed-out poodle aesthetic, but I was willing to risk it. That risk turned to be 1000% worth it. Kelley managed to give me a perm that looks EXACTLY like my natural wave and it doesn’t stink anywhere near as bad as my other perms. My husband didn’t even question it. He just assumed that I got a better styling product or spent more time with the hair dryer. I could not possibly be more happy.

The worst experience Ive ever had with a retail company... sad to say the Oldsmar location has awful customer service. Jean thought she hung up the phone, when she did not, and continued to mock and make fun of my voice.... not a fun experience to say the least.

I came in in a hurry to grab some make up for a photo shoot. They did not carry Estee Lauder brand and I am always hesitant to ask the girls which foundation I should buy because each person works for a brand and of course they usually try to sell you their brand. However, Kara, Who works in the Clinique department helped me tremendously by sampling different foundations of different brands that she recommended and I found the perfect foundation for my photo shoot. Everyone was so nice!

Cool store with a lot of brands, but every time I go here I get overcharged. Check the prices at the register, they do not ring up correct. If an item shows a price tag of $8.99, youll be charged $9.99. Happens to me every single time!! The manager rang me up last time and of course it happened. I told her this happens all the time, she had no response. Im sure theyre aware and are just making the extra money off customers that dont pay attention. Its called false advertisement and I see a lawsuit in their future! I dont shop here anymore, you can get most items cheaper elsewhere anyways.

I am so disappointed with this Ulta location,so many products to buy that Ulta is showing on their website you go to this location you will not find it for sure in this store .I had feeling that almost everyone here is un experienced as to help, suggest and give you overall knowledge of the products.I came in to buy IT product that was shown on Ulta web, manager said their truck is coming on Friday,came back on Friday “Oh we will unload it and place it tonight so come back tomorrow,I get there on Saturday and guess what, It’s not there,, why make me drive 3 times in stead of helping me out to get product I wanted...So I drive all the way to Tarpon Springs Ulta or Clearwater one to get what I need and it’s a shame since this Oldsmar one is in my neighborhood

Great place to get St. Tropez

Went into oldsmar Ulta for a interview with Sara the manager. She is very unpleasant, unprofessional & rude . She was constantly interupting the interview with transferring the office phone calls and talking to other employees outside the office while we were in the middle of my interview process. Also, the most ridiculous interview questions were asked by her . I have never been to such a horrible company interview.

Worst haircut ever. She was very nice but terrible shampoo experience (totally uncomfortable) and I think it was her first haircut . Wont return for a haircut thats for sure.

Very Dissapointed. I made an online appointment a week ago for hair and makeup but they couldnt find my reservation so they couldnt make a new appointment. She said the website messes up. Well not sure how that helps me when I have an event today I really wanted a blow out for.

As a lash artist in the area I send my clients to Ulta to invest in The Ordinary line as majority of it is oil-free and to find an oil free makeup remover to care for their lash extensions. Yesterday, my client called to inform me an associate was very snappy, snotty and unkind to her when she asked where she could find the line, being informed that theres no line called that that Ulta sells (I personally purchase it monthly, so thats incorrect) and that there is no such thing in existence as oil-free makeup remover. Associates need better education on what you carry and need to learn a little more kindness with people. I will now be steering them to a different location or online.
