I don’t know how this place is still in business.. oh wait I helped it stay in business haha lesson learned.
Everyone very friendly and helpful. A very can do attitude with my poor atv
Well this review is about the initial contact. Rode in with an insurance repair from my 2008 Hayabusa falling over in the trailer during transport. All the guys were super informative about the process and really set my mind at ease, promising a comprehensive and perfect repair. Perfect, like it never happened was, I believe the phrase used. There were a lot of bikes ahead of mine in for repair and they were honest about how long it might take to get the work done. I feel that its in professional hands and will post another review when the work is done, but i expect it will be another 5 stars. These guys know Suzuki!
Had my atv for 3 months, said it was fixed finally. A few bolts were missing holding on the plastics. Loaded it on the trailer, barely ran, was told need to warm up. Has never man since it’s been home. Called 2 times and left message and never received a call back. Poor service
I’m the kid who got the dirt bike can’t wait to bring it home, Great customer service
They replaced a CV boot on my Vinson. All the guys were friendly. The service was done the right way at a fair price! They have a wait of about two weeks so just allow the time. I highly recommend.
This place is amazing. Good bikes with amazing down to earth people. Treated me correct and bought 2 bikes from them.
Purchased my last motorcycle there, won’t ever go back. Spend your money somewhere else. Usually sales staff are very helpful, not here. Staff are very short and abrasive. For a place that sells customers a product they don’t seem to be very motivated to sell. Won’t ever go back.
This review covers my experiences with Olathe Suzuki since the time I bought my motorcycle from them in 09. Larry sold me my motorcycle and he didnt try to up sell me into a bigger motorcycle or try to steer me towards a different model.I was a first time motorcycle owner and Larry even showed concern and asked that I call him when I made it home just so it would ease his heart that I was okay. I dont know many places that would do that.I bought my motorcycle in the summer and when I took the seat off to put a battery tender on it one of the nuts that held the screw was missing. I went to the dealership and they gave me one with no questions asked.I havent had an issue either with the service department. There was a guy that used to work there who would adjust my suspension for me for free each time I came in. I forgot his name. Adam in the parts department also is always helpful. Overall I gave them a 5 star.
Helped me find and order some specialized parts for my gsxr. Thank you for the great customer service!
Great place if you have one. Takes care of customers. Everyone there is super knowledgable.
Always the go to place for anything I need for my bike. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have a great time each time Im in for parts. Adam is great, will go the extra mile to make sure I get everything I need so I dont end up making the dreaded second trip.
Very friendly small dealership. Very friendly owner. He was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
My immediate impression of this place upon walking in the front door was we dont care. There was only one sales guy there, which I can understand. He was busy talking to a family that was there to look at scooters for their daughter. Im walking around the place, which has VERY few motorcycles in it, just looking to kill a few minutes while he talks to them.I went back to the parts and accessories area to look at helmets, gloves, and jackets, and the guy behind the counter could care less. He was clearly just a warm body to stand behind the counter, with no interest in sales, or helping people in general.I came back out to the sales floor and the guy is still talking to these other customers, and has not acknowledged me at all. Come to find out, the girl theyre looking at scooters for doesnt even have a regular drivers license. So hes wasting his time, but still just chatting with them without a care.I can see why this is a tiny dealership tucked away on a lonely street, these guys do not care about what they do. Unless theyve got a great deal that cant be beat, Ill just buy elsewhere.
Larry Pratt is the best, He helped me get the bike I was wanting for a longtime. We went back and forth on the price to come away with a deal that worked for both parties, now Im riding. Thanks Olathe Suzuki.
Went to get some parts and talk to one of the mechanics and all I get is some snarky guy behind the parts counter, treating me as if Im an idiot. Been there twice hoping it would be someone different but it was not. I get treated better at Rawhide, and I ride a Suzuki!
Good response to very general questions. Took my Yamaha, even though its a Suzuki shop. Id recommend them.
Very bad service, un-professional, no customer service. They dont care your vehicle. You will be heart broken when you see the way they handle your ride.I went there because my vehicle was not starting up. Initially the battery was not charged so i took it to auto zone to check and charge the battery. They told the battery is good and charged the battery. Still i was not able to get the bike running. So i had to get it towed to the Olathe suzuki and handed them battery and the seat separately (because i removed it to take it to autozone, again laziness did not fit everything back). When i came to get the motorcycle back (they gave me after 6 weeks) they told i had no battery with it. The best part is the Parts guy remembered i gave the battery when i talked to him initially. Later he also started saying i did not give them the battery. OK i cannot prove it as they do not have any proper way of documenting things when we give for service. So i paid for the battery. Now comes the second problem. The instrumental cluster, signals, brake lights not working. When asked the so said service guy he told when i bought the motorcycle it was like that (HELL NO). His recommendation was to change the whole cluster itself as he was not able to find what is the issue. (How is he a service engineer). When i got home i checked and saw the wires were damaged. I had to get that fixed and all started working. I took me an whole day to fix their mess. Guys never go to these guys. The only good thing is they cleaned the carburetor and for that they charged me around $900 (including a tube change and for a new battery) I could have bought a good used carburetor and fixed it for less that $300. They did not give me an estimate earlier. I had to go there (after 3 weeks) and find out they already removed everything and at that time he would charge me $500 to take the vehicle from service center(non-running condition). So now i had no choice. Also when i talked to the owner he was so irresponsible and had no customer service manners. He went and looked all batteries over there and told i bought a non working battery (till then they were saying i did not give them any battery). If i really needed a battery why would i buy it from them for a higher price when i can get it cheap online. I was so lazy to fix it myself so took it to that HELL. I learned my lesson. So with my experience i will never go back to them for anything. My recommendation : IF POSSIBLE STAY AWAY FROM THESE NON-PROFESSIONAL GUYS.SUZUKI PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS SERVICE CENTER AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE FOLLOWING YOUR STANDARDS. DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THAT TO ME.
Sent two inquiries about utvs, no response, wife called and talked to a lady in regard to utvs, she advised she would talk to sales manager & get back to us. That didnt work either as she has never called us back. Stay away as they certainly have a problem with customer service
Well if you want a rebuilt it kit they would rather sell you piece buy piece and they are WAY over priced! Good luck with that when customers can go online to buy parts and have them shipped to them for WAY cheaper. No thanks Olathe Suzuki!!
I have gone to their business a few times with my dads bike to get tires and have it serviced and every time we get it back it breaks down in a week or so. I myself only take my bikes in because they are the only people that will install my tire size. I got it back and a few weeks later my fork seal blew out after I only drove it home and parked it. Plus I told them not to test drive the bike as I was having some mechanical issues that could become worse if driven, they assured me they understood. When I picked my bike up the bike had wear on the tires plus another 10 miles on my odometer. Later came to find out the problem got worse, when I talked to them about this and the seal I was cussed out by there employee and the owner saying that I was a liar. Customer service is as bad as it gets in person or over the phone they really dont care about you just your money. The only time I go to them now is when I cant find an odd part but even then they will charge you $13 for a small bolt. I even ordered a few hundred dollars in parts and told them that needed them asap, a month later I called asking about my parts and they flat out said you never told us to order them which was a lie. They finally order it, then a month later I drive an hour to pick them up and parts were missing and I was told I never asked for the parts which I did and I had them read it back 4 times to be sure. It has now been another 3 weeks and they havent called me. I have called for quotes to never get a call back just to find out no one ever checked. If I had the time and money I would have taken them to court. Do yourself a big favor and never ever give them any of your business. I sure wish I never did. If you have another option any other option take it and stay clear. Oh ya and women never go unless you want to have your goods starred at. My wife refuses to step foot on the property.
Been there four times for service. Each time tech told me if I could get there by a certain time he could do the work while I waited. These were one hour jobs.
Great, friendly, professional. They are happy to fully explain anything you might want to know about your bike and what you are doing.
Larry and the staff at Olathe Suzuki made the process of buying a new bike really easy and got me on the road quickly. Thanks guys!
THEY ONLY WANT YOU FOR YOUR MONEY! My boyfriend took in his 04 Honda Crf50 pit bike in to have them true a back wheel and install a front tire. Olathe Suzuki never straighten it. Still wobbles bad like before. Still charged him $100. Were both super pissed off! PLEASE DO NOT give them service. You will LEARN like I did.
I would give them 0 stars if possible. Women, do not enter this establishment if you expect to be treated with respect. Customer service is reprehensible. The manager was snide and accusatory and condescending and chose to discuss my interaction, loudly, with another employee in front of other customers. There is a way to conduct business and resolve issues, and they obviously do not have personnel to do it effectively.
STOP AND READ THIS!!!These guys are super rude, short and abrasive. I have given them the benefit of the doubt a couple times now and I will NEVER go back.We motorcyclist have options when it comes to customer service and they are Shawnee Cycle Plaza, Freedom Cycles, Letko Cycles and everything on the World Wide Web.RIP Olathe Suzuki.
Not a bad place to pick up last minute parts before a race
I would NOT go here what so ever. Had my bike over a month. Got my bike back still run the same like crap after I paid them 1200bucks. ONE drive down the road blow up and put rod right through cases cause THERE mechanic installed my oil filter UPSIDE down. Now I have 5grand in my motor now its toast. Had to go and have a REAL mechanic do the work which costed me 3grand. They did nothing and kept my spare parts they had at there shop after they told me they would return them to me. Would Not Go Here What So Ever. There Service is at very least bottom of the chain!# trust what I tell you I have emails to back my ass up.
Had recall work done on my gixxer 750 for a bad front brake master cylinder. Service writer was very short, uninterested in helping with another problem we were having with the god awful regulator rectifier. He didnt want to order any parts that were not factory Suzuki, which I can understand too a certain extent, but dont you want the business now? As well as return customers and word of mouth for new clients? Just picked bike up and drove it home, brakes work great, but when they disassembled the master cylinder from the handlebars, they also manipulated the throttle cable and didnt fix it, so when I head out on the highway and crack the throttle open, to my surprise when I shift, the throttle sticks and pins the bike out to 15k rpms....upon further inspection I find brake fluid still under the new master cylinder as well as on the throttle cable, poor attention to detail. Im a graduate of MMI for Honda and would never in my life think that this would have happened coming from a dealership. Will look elsewhere for mechanic and parts ordering in the future.3/24/2015- The owner of Olathe Suzuki contacted us in regards to this review. He was very polite and wanted to know what had happened in order for the bad review. This helps in at least knowing the owner is proactive and wants the feedback either way, good or bad. Everything was made aware to him about the situation and what had happened. We both agreed that we couldnt say for certain if the throttle had been affected by the technician or not, but I know for certain it wasnt like that when I drove the bike into the shop for the brake recall work. Will consider repairs from them again, but would need to be very cautious when everything is done and verifying the work before leaving the dealership.
Was told my Suzuki bike would be done within a week, found out one part was replaced and appartly waiting on the rest to get here, I coulda have saved my time and money ordering parts myself and taken to Reno or freedom were Id have my bike back last week sometime very diasappointed wont be coming back.
Went in to look at a new bike with a friend, buy a helmet for myself, and inquire about tire repair for myself. The sales man must have seen that I pulled up on a Honda Shadow because immediately the man said (really before I even finished asking if they repair tires) We do not work on Hondas. The man turned around and went about his business. He did not see if there was anything else we could be helped with. I guess he was just too busy doing nothing. Needless to say, we immediately left. Really disappointing.
He is snobby and just looking to make a sale. I bought a bike there but ONLY because he was a little cheaper than the other places in town. I wished I had paid more in the end. They were not helpful in service dept later on and I have NEVER gone back there except to get a factory recall taken care of. Avoid if possible.
Had Olathe Suzuki dyno tune my 2005 SV650 with a power commander. Fuels great now. Thanks!
Took my bike in for a valve adjustment and oil change. Got my bike back less than a week ago and its leaking oil.
Never been to the place but what I can tell you is my bike was dropped off from a tow service for my insurance claim. Olathe Suzuki have set on the bike for 4 days and havent even looked at it yet. It would take them 30min at the most to finish my claim for the insurance company. Seriously, get off your a** and do your job!!!!!!!!! Some people are depending on you Olathe Suzuki...
Rude and obviously dont want my money. Wanted to get my Daytona 675 dyno tuned. Theyre totally uninterested. Looks like Smithers will be getting my money. Even though I live in OP, Ill continue to go across town to Advantage for my (2nd bike) Gixxer 600 parts.
Service techs in shop are good people talk to them
