I was depositing my check at the Commerce Bank ATM directly in front of Murphy Express. I realized l didnt have a pen to endorse the check. I dashed into Murphy and was greeted by Courtnie. She HAD a pen. She let me borrow it. She insisted I keep it. Courtnie is a SWEETHEART!!!

Toilet didnt flush, pump spilled gas on my motorcycles tank.

Pump nozzle would not shut off and flooded my rear quarter panel, tires, brakes and rotors. My vehicle was surrounded by gasoline. Employee said that is OK, I can leave. I said it could be dangerous. Employee said, trust me, this happens all the time and people leave safely without harm. I told them I would not leave until they check their safety protocol. They then brought out a sand mix that would absorb the gasoline. I waited over an hour while this process played out. Defective equipment should be replaced and the safety of customers should be the first on the list.

Nice and clean gas station. Pumps take cards so I hardly go inside.

Good prices for gas but its always one person working alone. This place is very busy considering the gas price but customers walk out because of the wait. Need more workers!!

Always the best price for gas in town. PERIOD. QT cant keep the price the that low. They try but they raise it back up. Now, down side. The clerk inside is extremely slow. If the pumps are busy dont even think about going inside, you will be in there for a while. So it pains me that I have to take a star away.

That woman that works there the night shift is horrible. Be prepared to be yelled at. She also throws change at you if she isnt having a good day. They need to get rid of employees like these. Cashiers need to be happy and in a good mood! Not make your experience horrible! Will never come back to this location.

The pumps are not maintained very well and pump extremely slow. 8 minutes for 16 gallon of gas. Then while waiting for it to fill, the gas handle did not shut off spilling a lot of gasoline down my rear panel and over my tires, wheels and brakes and puddling up under and around my vehicle. Reported it immediately inside and was told its OK this happens all the time into go ahead and drive away. I would not start my car nor would I just drive away so I ended up waiting over an hour for them to come out and place a granual absorbent down to soak up the gasoline which they ran out of because they did not have enough on hand as they must have Used it on prior customers since this happens all the time according to the employees that work there. They never even offered to reimburse me for all of the gasoline that spilled onto the ground that I ended up paying for. I used to go there all the time for my gasoline needs but considering other options closer to home. 1 out of 3 visits are always a delayed pumping event.

Why do you close turn the lights out at night? Arent the pumps still on? Actually, I know they are... I was there. In the dark. Filling up. It was odd... At least its not a bad area... What?! Someone was shot last year in the Walmart parking lot less than a year ago. Dang... TURN THE FREAKING LIGHTS ON OR TURN THE PUMPS OFF AND POST A SIGN! I wonder what your insurance would think about that... Humm? Other then that glaring issue its a very nice gas station. Small and clean. Prices on non gas items are good, if not the lowest in the immediate area. For instance. This last summer (17) I was filling up. While the pump was doing its thing I ran in to get a drink. It was one of those 100* days that once was considered rare heat in KC, but now its just another Tuesday in July. Garbed a Coke and went to check out and the lady said that if I grab another, that both would be $3. Not too shabby, so I did. A week later I noticed the same deal at a rival station was $4. Most other items within Murphys are similarly well priced. Not to mention the fuel prices are competitive. Giveem a go. Oh... Before I go, I should reiterate that Murphys needs to TURN THE LIGHTS ON!!! Its 3am on a Friday! There are zombie Millennials everywhere! All looking down at their phone. Im scared...

Love the gas prices & the friendly clerk behind the counter- always helpful when needed. Just wished this place was opened around the clock like most their opponents are ( ie; QuikTrip)....

Gas station generally has one of the lowest prices in Olathe! Some of the staff are rude.
