Went in for an oil change and balance. Told them the front window switch doesn’t work and the ambient temp sensor needs swapped. Turned into an extra $200 expense just for the guys to tell me the mirrors are after market and they didn’t know what to do other than put there mirrors on for $1000. Also no solutions on the window switch just another $350 to look at it further. Didn’t seem $200 worth of effort to feel like they need to bill you for that. So after checking out and waiting on my vehicle to be pulled up after 20mins and having to remind them, the thing didn’t even have the tires reading in the right location. They said to just drive it. No, if you have the resources to make it right the first time then do it. Drive it yourselves. I take my vehicle to the dealer because that’s what they want you to do and they can’t even give you high level of quality and make it feel like money well spent? Won’t be going back to this dealer. Everyone else is cheaper and more than likely a higher quality of service.

We have searched and searched for a good truck. Jay was a huge help to us! We are from Colorado and to find our 2020 Ram 1500 in KS made us feel defeated right off the start. Dropped my 2020 Dodge Ram off to have an electrical issue resolved. The battery goes dead if the truck sits for several days without being started. Nothing was found to be wrong with the the truck. I guess we’ll see if it is a fluke or if it will happen again the next time it’s sits for a while.What concerns me more is that I can’t comfortably drop my vehicle off there with any confidence that an employee or others that have access to vehicles in service won’t go through the vehicle looking for things of value to take. Normally I have complete confidence in the folks in service and trust they will leave my property alone. I don’t have that at Olathe Dodge anymore. It only takes one incident for a vehicle owner to lose complete trust in a situation like this. I don’t want to have to worry about whether or not I have gathered up everything out of my vehicle that someone might want to help themselves to when I drop it off. I just want my vehicle serviced and returned to me the way I left it. If the employees don’t respect their employer for some reason it shouldn’t be my problem. I guess I’ll have to find another dealer to service my truck. There are plenty to choose from!

Perhaps one of the worst experiences of my life. I regularly take my car here for maintenance as this is where we purchased the car. While driving, my engine light began flashing so I pulled over and looked up the symbol. Says its likely spark plugs but not to drive it. I have the car towed to the dealership and call as soon as they opened and spoke with jim and explained everything. This was the 8th friday. Saturday afternoon I called back for an update and explained everything else i wanted serviced while it was there.. brakes, oil change, a battery needed replacing, simple stuff and i needed an estimate to prepare for payment. The following Wednesday after hearing crickets, I called back. He stated that i needed to authorize $700 worth of ‘exploratory ‘ searching to find out whats wrong with my car. I could not understand why I needed to authorize 700 bucks to do explore whats wrong with my car… its literally what ur supposed to do. And i wasn’t being called at all with updates.. i felt like a stalker! But I needed transportation soon. So we authorized it and rented a vehicle for a week about $600 thinking the car would be done in another 7 days. We only have the one car and a loaner was not offered. Time passes we arent being updated.. we start getting screened and sent immediately to voicemail. Eventually I get a call and I am told that the spacers they ordered for my Wrangler were the wrong size and they had to order a new one. It will be a week. Remember I have already asked for this to get done. This was the 16th and the rental was due back. We had already sunk 600 bucks into a rental not to mention the ubers and lyfts taken the first week when left without a car at all. We needed another car.All three kids had been saving up to buy cars… one wants a new wrangler too… so we polled everyone to see who was ready with their down payments. My youngest son was super close… so we put an extra thousand to his down payment to help out so we can have a car while waiting. Money well spent, but I bitterly disappointed in the service i was receiving. The only relief I can have is by directing our loyalties to another dealership.We got my car back yesterday.. and i was given $200 bucks off our $3000 bill and leftover parts in the front seat. (FUN!) I am now looking for an honest Jeep Dealership service center that services newer model wranglers suped up with all the fixins. Top choice would be a dealership willing to offer loaner services and excellent communication for my loyalty. Please drop a comment with the name of the dealership. We need somewhere for our son to purchase his wrangler next month. One down two to go!Update all!!!!! NOW the engine light is back on. Less than 24 hours later. We take it somewhere else and now they say its the gasket and and the thermostat! Exciting!!
I was in serious need of an oil change and out of town so I pulled into Jeep service. Garren was super nice and straight on the time it would take. First come first serve and he was busy. So I waited, he came out to let me know his concerns, my filters were disgusting (no wonder it smelled)he showed me and I had a low tire. He gave me options and prices and kept me updated. If I lived here, I would totally get my Jeep serviced here. Great nice guys, if you don’t want to wait, the open at 7am!

I have tried several times to use the service department at Olathe Dodge for my 2019 Ram truck. They always seem extremely busy where I cant get in very quick. On July 9th I was able to have my truck serviced because I was having starter issues. While I had my truck there I wanted them to check the exhaust (it was running loud) and also a problem that I having with my drivers side power mirror. Getting to the point I had to replace my battery, which did correct the issue. As for the other two issues. The service tech said that there was nothing wrong with my exhaust/muffler. They could not find a leak, even though it was clearly making more noise than normal. They also said that they could replace the passenger side mirror for $662.00. Remember, I was having problems with the drivers side, not the passenger side. I told them that they looked at the wrong side. I also told them that there was nothing wrong with that mirror on the passenger side but proceeded to pay and leave. The exhaust was still bugging me so I took it to Midas Muffler in Olathe. Right away they said I had an exhaust leak. Midas was able to see a broken bracket between the catalytic converter and muffler and fix the joint in that area. Now my truck runs quiet and smooth. I was very surprised that Olathe Dodge couldnt find problem, which makes me have no confidence in their service department. Now, Im having issues with both power mirrors on my truck. The passenger side wont even open or close. The drivers side still runs the same but not the way it was designed to work. From my prospective, They tried to adjust the passenger side power mirror, which ended up breaking the motor. I always take my vehicles to the dealer because I believed that the dealer knows the product they sell better than anyone else. I have no confidence in the service department anymore. It looks like I will be finding somewhere new to service my 2019 Ram truck.
Worst service I have ever received at a dealership. Had to wait 4 month to get all parts in to replace gaskets and radio under warranty. Should have been sooner but the radio ordered for me was given to someone else while waiting on the gaskets, then when we got the gaskets we had to wait to get another radio. After receiving my vehicle back from them replacing the gaskets and radio, my vehicle drove horrible. Steering was vibrating and front end was all over the place. This was not a problem before I took it in. I took the vehicle back to have them fix whatever they broke while it was in their shop, and it was a nightmare dealing with them. Had to initially call multiple times to get an update on what was wrong, and dispute having to cover the cost. Picked it up and invoice was different than what was discussed 30 mins before I got there. Now that I have it back home, its leaking oil from the gaskets they changed. I will now need to find another dealer to fix what they messed up. I will never take my vehicle back to this dealership, and would definitely not recommend it to any one.

Came for a basic oil change. The plus side is it took less than an hour. The negative side is that I’m back here now because my car started buring oil from the filter. Only gave 3 stars cause this is my first time getting service for my vehicle here and I had to come back. I hope the corrections don’t take too long so I get along with my day.

Great experience shopping with Sid and the team at Olathe Chrysler. They went over the top to take care of us and help with taxes and other things since we are from out-of-state. They insisted they keep the car a few more days to fill the tank with gas and detail it one more time even though I felt it was already pretty clean. I would definitely buy a car from them again!

The folks at Olathe Dodge do such a great job with their service department. They’re so efficient and they communicate with the customer extremely well; better than any other dealership that I’ve ever dealt with. I’m sure they are good at selling cars and changing oil but the experience I had with the service department was the worst customer service and rigged up repairs I have ever seen! We would have not had a clue if we hadn’t taken it to another dealership after they had made repairs and charged my insurance company as if all repairs was made. State Farm confronted them about the repairs (and we was told they let go of the manager and service technician that did the repairs). We hit a deer and had minor repairs to be made. They used zip ties to hold parts up instead of new brackets and reinstalled damaged parts. Not to mention our headlights needed fixed. Once they fixed the headlights the brights never worked we took it back 3 times and they still couldn’t fix the problem. As well we can’t drive the car at night because our headlights are facing on coming traffic and we constantly get accused of having the brights on. 3 times we’ve taken it back for this. They did fix all the rigged up repairs they had done but in the process made a big deep scratch on the front of the car we noticed with the new manager. We had to wait for that repair. We had such a bad experience we was never going back. (The headlights still don’t work) fast forward we had to have the car towed because the BCM got shorted out “Dodge Challenger”. The only place they could take it was Olathe Dodge and didn’t tell us at first because we didn’t want them to touch it. When the BCM went out the car alarm and horn was going off so the battery had to be disconnected. When the service department went to look at the car they had to disconnect the horn to find out what was wrong. When I picked the car up we had noticed the horn didn’t work. I called Brian in the service department and he said that I had to reset the horn in the settings. I did that and it still didn’t work. My wife is the one that normally dealt with them and would rather take it to someone else than to deal with them because when we got it back from the last repair they put scratches all over the console because they didn’t use the proper tools to take it apart. I decided to take it back and not only did they charge me $160 to tell me the horn was bad (that was obvious) they was going to charge me over $450 to repair it. Damage they caused! Since I have an extended warranty it was going to be $300. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone this was the worst experience we have ever had with any type of business. They took advantage of my wife and talked down to her when she let them know the car still wasn’t working correctly. With unprofessional repairs and still couldn’t fix the most obvious repairs (headlights). Beware if they think you don’t know better a good chance they will take advantage of you!
Brought the vehicle in without an appointment because of a serious mechanical issue. They took it in soon after and diagnosed the issue quickly and accurately. The parts were in stock and they scheduled me for the next available appointment which was a few days later. The vehicle was repaired and ready before the actual scheduled appointment time. Ashton was the service representative and made clear and concise communication about the cost of the repair and the status of my vehicle as it moved through their system. He was very honest and respectful. As I found out later on site that all of the individuals that I dealt with in person were also. I will be taking my vehicle back for further maintenance to this dealership in the future. No questions asked.

I purchased a Jeep Wrangler from here and had a very good experience. The sale did take around 2 hours, which felt a little long and I have had a few warranty issues with the vehicle, but, the service staff has always worked with me with problems (and I did have to be provided a no cost rental car at one time for an issue with my Wrangler). However, other than the above the staff has always been helpful and I recommend them if you want to Purchase a Jeep in Kansas City.

Olathe Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram service department has always been terrific! They always have my van done on time. Any extra problems found on my vehicle are brought to my attention and corrected. I really value their honesty. Several times Ive come in telling them, I think its a water pump or a muffler, for example. When mechanics tell me, You dont need to spend money on this, thats a good thing.
It was a great experience. I found a car and the price on the site was exactly what it was. I was able to work out all the numbers prior to my arrival and there were no surprises. It was the best car buying experience I have had in 26 years.

I brought my 2018 Ram 1500 for any oil change. I had bought an oil change package when I bought the truck in July 2018 that was good for 3 years. The tech said that I left one oil change left on the package but it had expired. I didnt think much of it but then I remembered truck was delivered late in July 2018. I checked later and I took delivery on July 24, 2018 and had this recent oil change on July 26. So I got charged nearly $77 for an oil change when I was 2 days late on a 3 year contract. Thanks a lot Olathe Dodge/Ram.They also said I needed a new engine air filter and a cabin air filter. I agree on the engine air filter but the cabin filter was barely dirty. They also said I needed a tire rotation. I bought the tires elsewhere and they are less 3 weeks old and have less than 500 miles on them. I checked the tread depth later and the measurement were all very close to one another. This shop is just trying to sell unneeded services. You think they could make enough money on a $77 oil change.
My 2012 6.7L Dodge Ram 2500 had left me stranded on the side of the interstate. We pulled into Olathe Dodge with 2 options. Repair my truck, or buy a nice lightly used truck and get back on the road. Other than having to tell the ‘checkin guy’ 4 different times that we would change our own filters. Even when he would repeat back, “Okay, oil change, tire rotation, and air filters” after I had already said twice we would take care of it. Then said he would bring it in anyway to the waiting area to show me. To which I replied, “No need, we will take care of it”...he did bring it in twisting it literally in half to almost insure it would snap and I had to replace it there.Hey! I purchased one on the way home and it is in!!! 1/2 price.
I had a solid experience at this dealership. The team was communicating with me from when I entered the lot, during the waiting period until delivery! Also, there is a Great selection of vehicles on the lot, especially for the trying times we are in!
I had to make 3 separate appointments and was without a car for over a week total for a job that only takes 1.5 days. Very frustrating and the only reason it wasnt longer was because I had to ask for the service manager. They kept promising things they knew they couldnt not do such as the car being done at a specific time or the size of rental cars available. Instead of taking the time to get right answers they just make stuff up so it sounds good. They are amazing at making excuses though.

Let me be clear by saying the service at the dealership is usually spot on. But today I received a phone call asking if I wanted certain things done like a tire rotation and air filters replaced. I declined all but the tire rotation. I explained to the gentleman on the phone that I purchased tires from an outside source they over tightened the lug nuts and I asked them if they could address that for me and replace the lug nuts because I was unable to take the wheel off because I didnt have the proper tooling to do it. The gentleman on the phone said sure not a problem I will let them know. On reviewing our paperwork it was clearly marked tire rotation done when getting the vehicle home I checked to make sure and no tire rotation was done and my lug nuts were still not addressed. So unfortunately now I have to make another appointment which takes time out of my day to get this matter addressed which is very frustrating.
Brandon and Tank and the whole team were great again for me and my company! They were able to get my deal done even though supplies were really limited! I am very happy with my new truck! I would recommend them to everyone!
Since Covid this dealer ship has gone down hill. Customer service (manager) is horrible. I am still having issues with my 2021 Jeep and I will be calling to schedule an appointment as soon as it hits 3000 miles as I was told I needed to break it in. When shifting into 2nd it jerks or shifts hard until the car is warmed up, even though I park in a garage and when it is hot outside it still does it. When I flash my Headlight to bright, I hear a click click click. Again until it is warmed up. If I ever have to get another vehicle, which I am sure I will one day. I will be taking my Business elsewhere. I have been a customer for 7 years and it is sad that they cant have excellent customer service.

Not a good experience with this service center at all. Had my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee for about 2 weeks regarding something going on with my transmission. I never got updated about my vehicle while in the shop, I always had to call in. A technician road with me to see if he could feel what I was feeling. Told me he felt what I was feeling, took my vehicle in just for me to call 3 days later to check in and them telling me they can’t get my Jeep to do the issue anymore, told me to come get it. As soon As I drive it away it starts doing it right off the bat. Tried to get in contact with the Service Center Manager, never got a call back. Tried to get in contact with the Service Advisor I was dealing with by the name of Justin and never got a call back either. Very poor business
This is the second time Ive bought a preowned vehicle here. Both were good experiences. My sales person this time was Troy. He showed me the options that fit my expectations and didnt try to oversell anything. He just pointed out the main positive aspects of each vehicle and let me draw my own conclusions. Im very happy with my purchase and I would come here again.

Absolutely excellent service. From Karen who first answered my call to Jim who coordinated the servicing on my vehicle, I am extremely impressed. I was able to get a courtesy car with Jeremiah, also very friendly and personable, without having to wait. They took into consideration I was on a time crunch and had my vehicle done in a timely manner. Another thing that stood out was every time I’ve called with questions, whoever I spoke to was very friendly and knowledgeable. Their pricing on an oil change is the best around. The facility is very clean and everyone working and waiting followed social distancing guidelines. Thank you for great service!

I was able to trade in my pickup for a nice durango that more suits my needs. From start to finish it was about an hour and a half, including financing and paperwork! Friendly and responsive staff that really looked out for my financial well-being!
