Thanks to Byrons knowledge and expertise, I discovered that my 14-year-old garage was not built to ideal specifications, and that corners were cut, resulting in a complete failure of the single torsion spring breaking and the pulley cables simply giving up the ghost in response.Rather than replace things piecemeal and run the risk of something else breaking down the line, I had the entire system replaced (sans the the garage door opener itself - thats coming soon).Although it was a bit pricey, I feel better about having done it that way, and Im grateful that a professional like Byron was there to do the job!

I had Precision Door come out to repair my garage door opener. The opener was pretty old and I was pretty sure it would need to be replaced and it did. Chris was on time and very pleasant. He checked the opener and the garage door. He replaced the opener, the garage door spring and the garage door rollers. I had him check the other door because I thought it might need everything replaced. He said the rollers on that door were not as bad as the other door and since I only open and close that door once a week there was no reason to replace everything at this time. I appreciated his honesty. He could have easily said everything on it needed replacing and charged me for that too but he didn’t. I will definitely use Precision Door again if needed. He checked everything and informed me of the cost before starting any of the work.

We had a broken garage spring on the holiday weekend and werent too happy about not being able to get our cars out. These folks are professionals. I opened my garage door to go to work one day and it just completely broke down. We called precision door service and they arrived the same day. They gave me the option to repair or replace the door and reasonable prices for each. We opted to replace the door so Paul and Hallie came out the following day and worked as a team to put together the door in 2hrs. Paul made adjustments to the door until it was tuned just right, and Hallie cleaned the door of all grease marks. We’ve used Precision 3 times. It’s a local family company. Pricing is reasonable, but service knocked it out of the park every time. Example: Last night, one of us who shall remain nameless accidentally let his car roll into the outside of the garage door, bashing it in. Our kids’ baby shower was today, and my car was trapped in the garage. I called Precision, explained my situation, and begged for expedited help. The General Manager was at my house in two hours, hunted the city to find a new door that matched my ruined door, then drove out to personally pick up the one and only exact match that wouldn’t have to be ordered (i.e., entailing a 10-day wait). Today, an hour before my soon-to-be grand baby’s shower started, two installers appeared, and tore out the wrecked door so I could free my car and start the 25-minute drive, allowing me to arrive right on time. I left before the install was finished, but when I returned, the install was completed perfectly, the refuse was hauled off, my garage was neat and tidy, and I was overjoyed. I can’t say enough good things about Precision. Two thumbs up!

Expensive and dont back up their work. We had them out to remove our garage door springs and re-set them after we remodeled our garage. They also replaced the rollers. The total cost was about $1500.After they finished, the garage door would not close. It would bounce back when it got the ground. They came out and set the stop limit higher. After doing this, the door closed but there was a visible gap under the garage door. One that mice and snakes could get through. They told us it would cost $145 to fix it even though the door had no gap before they did their work. Not my kind of company.

Had new spring put on garage door on 4/26/21. The service tech was rude and provided poor workmanship. They were unable to provide any quote over the phone but the guy can stand 6 ft back and write up a quote, with todays technology this could have been done before coming to my house. I asked about a bump in the garage door while going up and he said all he did was install the spring and no adjustments in the a rude tone of voice. My husband gets home from TDY we discovered the cables were crossed and there was sunlight coming in at the bottom. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

I had a great experience with getting my garage door replaced which was over 20 years old and had come off the tracks. Competition was going to make me wait 6 1/2 weeks to special order my door because it’s a little wider but precision was able to find one locally. The day after Thanksgiving Jack and Paul appeared to install the door early and they were finished in two hours. It looks great it works great and I’m a very happy customer.

Great service! I had a broken spring on the garage door. So as not to put more strain on the motor. I seek assistance from precision door service. They suggested coiled springs that were powder coated so it should last 15 years. Swapped out plastic rollers for metal rollers. All in all the garage door works just like new. Garage door has been installed since 2012 so its been seven years. Hopefully with the new upgrade it should last a lot longer.

Jack was very professional and did a great job repairing my garage door. He was able to step me through the issues with the door and gave me a few options for a repair. Because of Jack I am now more knowledgeable about all the workings of my garage door and the recommended maintenance items I need to do in order to keep it in working order. In my case the spring needed to be replaced and the rollers oiled up as they were dried out. But that is on me since Ive never done any kind of maintenance on the door itself for over 6 years of being in my house. Also, because the HOA wants things to look nice I discovered the door has a wooden façade. I thought garage doors simply came like that but apparently not. This wooden façade adds lots of weight to the door and probably led to the untimely demise of my spring.No offense to Jack or Precision on this next bit but the next time I need a spring replacement I will be purchasing the parts myself and simply asking Precision to install. The parts they provided were a little on the pricey side of things in my opinion. But Ive worked in the service industry before so I know any hardware provided will have a markup on it, so that one is also on me. With my newfound knowledge I believe I can anticipate the parts needed for a repair and purchase them myself in the future.

Same day service at an awesome price! The metal attachment connecting our pulley completely ripped out of our garage door and I was afraid it would require weeks to schedule and get parts in. Hailey scheduled us right away and Dustin came out a few hours and fixed everything for under $200. He also performed a general tune up while here. Dustin stayed in the garage while here and kept the door closed. I didn’t feel uncomfortable while he was here which is always a huge indicator of wonderful costumer service. Will be using them again for tune ups and any issues down the road.
