We are very happy with the dirt work. By the hour shamrock is more expensive than the other guys but he also got a lot more done in a shorter time. After 3 years of drainage problems in my front yard and several recommendations that were not within my budget I called Benjamin at Shamrock Dirt work. We discussed issue over phone and he came out to look at the problem and give me an estimate. I had 100 ft by 10 ft of my front yard that had ground water coming to the surface. The entire area was like a sponge and I couldn’t even walk on it to check my mail. He provided his recommendation which was different than others I had gotten and we discussed my budget. He did the work, digging a 100 ft trench 2’ wide by 4’ deep, laid rock and drainage pipe and leveled the entire are and filled several other low spots in my yard. After starting the dig he suggested a different method to resolve issue which lowered my estimate (fair and honest). After sod was laid and established there is no longer any water seeping to the service as it’s all being caught by his drainage system and flowing out pipe into road. I am so estatic that I am able to walk on my yard now. He even called a week later to check on the work and make sure I was satisfied. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone needing minor or major dirt work done.

Ben was amazing! Very fast response for estimate and project start. Estimate was spot on for time and final cost. Unlike other estimates Ben did not try to overdo the project. He provided exactly what we wanted at the lowest cost. One other contractor’s estimate we received was 5 times our projects final cost. Shamrock Dirt Work did an awesome job for my family. We had 10-15 large trees removed, 1000ft of road built and a tinhorn installed. We also had Shamrock come back to build a pad for our new home. They do awesome work and you can’t beat the price.

Ben and his crew did a great job grading our land. They diverted water away from our home and also cleaned out and filled in a large ditch across our property expanding our yard. The end result was better than we had hoped for. They were fast and friendly we will use them again for any future dirt work.

Ben is a true professional!! For us he created a level building pad on the side of a hill. To do this he cleared and moved 40 to 50 trees of various sizes and set them in a location where we could handle them. Then he managed to use only the dirt on our property to make the pad, saving us time and money. When finished he suggested that we stabilize the banks by getting matting that professional landscapers use. Thank goodness and Ben that we did because the rains started 5 days later . The pad is still intact. We have since had builder issues but the pad is holding up beautifully. I recommend Shamrock Dirt Work and Ben Skelly all day long!!! Awesome Ben...Thanks again.
