Prairie Dirt Solutions provided several loads of beautiful dirt for my yard. When neighbors come over to talk about dirt, you know you got the best of the best. Customer Service was fantastic! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend!

I have always had a great experience, great team that works there and great prices. I have a wholesale account with them and they’ve always done great. I would like to point out that the bad reviews are of people mad they are next door not sure what they’re trying to do but it’s funny seeing the effort. Definitely highly recommend these guys

I contacted several sources for compost around Oklahoma. I used the online contact form for Prairie Dirt and immediately received a reply. Wyatt answered all my questions very quickly and thoroughly. I was worried that since theyre in Oklahoma City, I would be out of the delivery range. No. They came all the way out to my farm. I was also a little worried because their organic compost costs 1/3 - 1/2 of what others were charging so I was worried about the quality. The truck was exactly on time and delivered carefully into my designated area. I am very impressed with my compost quality. I appreciate that they provide soil analysis reports for viewing. I will be ordering again from this company soon.

Hope to be using them again :) thanks!I think the fact that the neighborhood next door has obviously conspired to give this business a bad reputation just because they dont like the smell is petty and pretentious. The name is Prarie DIRT solutions, not Prarie sod farm, so its pretty obvious what their intentions were when they started the business. The way to get rich dirt is by COMPOSTING. Which is completely normal and not targeted at anybody. You people are ridiculous. They have just as much right to operate there as you do to live there. Seriously. If you dont like it, go find a new neighborhood.

This company simply is not honest. Before getting their license, we were notified it was going to be a sod farm. Now our neighborhood smells like manure and rotting garbage. Thats bad, but the flies are unbearable. They were bad all summer. after Halloween night smelled like manure (great for the kids), we had more flies than usual. Finally on 7 November we hundreds, maybe thousands of flies around our patio door. Couldnt use the door without 5-10 flies getting in and it was a gorgeous day to be on the patio. I killed maybe 100 flies in hope that the door would be useable as I tried to use the grill.

Zero stars. This company went out of their way to make a neighborhood full of kids experience a real life horror movie on Halloween night complete with the smell of rotting flesh, hundreds of birds circling overhead, and swarms of flies. Each day since their business set up shop next door has brought worsening smells and the recent arrival of tons of circling birds and flies only further prove that. The best part is that this company claims on its website to be passionate about generating a safe and clean environment. This isnt their first rodeo and they knew exactly how disruptive they would be when they set up operations next to a large, well established, and highly sought after neighborhood. We are doing what we can to fight this, but their customers should be aware of exactly what kind of people they are doing business with before choosing to use them in the future.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Total liars!!! They are our neighbors and they completely falsified their intent. They told Williamson Farms (neighborhood to the east) they were a sod farm. In fact they are composting. The smell is absolutely horrendous. We now have thousands of birds & flies. We can no longer have our windows open for fresh air or simply walk outside without wanting to throw up. They are liars. If they can lie about their intent who knows what else they can lie about.

Anyone reading this, please take your trees somewhere else to dispose of. Bergen Enterprises opened this business and told the neighboring community that they were going to be a sod farm. They are nothing close to that. Susan Bergen, please come to one of our neighborhood meetings and listen to the infestation of smell, flies, and gulls that you have brought to our community next door. While I have not used this companys services, I feel you should know the character of the people you are doing business with. We live in the neighborhood directly east of this location. When they put this business in they came to our HOA meeting making promises that it would only be a sod farm and that there would be no smells or any other issues that would affect our community thats been here MUCH longer. Not only is it a sod farm but apparently a composting facility. Over the months the stench coming from their business has made it to where people and their children can no longer enjoy their own yards. And it only continues to worsen. Many that live closest to them say they can even smell it in their homes. Halloween night was completely ruined for our entire neighborhood because the smell was SO BAD. It has attracted hundreds of birds and flies that we are also now having to deal with. I wouldnt be surprised if it also lowered our property values. No community should be subjected to what is basically being forced upon us when they knowingly lied to us about what to expect. Very unprofessional and unethical.

Please consider taking your business elsewhere. This company met with our residents and HOA multiple times. We raised concerns about their plans for the land adjacent our neighborhood and they assured us that they were simply installing a sod farm and they would not negatively impact our community. Instead, we now deal with a nightly stench, THOUSANDS of birds circling overhead, and flies galore - even this late into the season. They have not been a good neighbor and have not rectified this situation.

This company bought land next to our 700 home neighborhood. Pam and Gary came to our HOA meeting to address concerns about their “SOD FARM” that they claimed was going in next door (I videoed the meeting). They promised to be “great neighbors “ and told us they were clean and eco friendly, and that they were going to clean up the property, plant pecan trees, and make the land better than it was before—which was Farmland.They have not lived up to their promises to the thousands of people who live in our neighborhood. They started by cutting down all the trees located behind a street full of homes, which provided a barrier between us and them. Now we get all of their dirt and dust constantly blowing into the neighborhood. There is a terrible stench coming from their property—it was especially bad on Halloween weekend. EVERYONE who was trick or treating got to experience how awful it was. It seems the birds enjoy whatever they are doing over there because we now have hundreds of them flying/circling around overhead. Flies are also terrible!!!I cannot believe the people who own and operate this facility (Bergen Family) seemingly don’t care about what it is doing to our wonderful neighborhood. This is not right!!! I do not recommended this company to anyone.

This company set up shop directly next to our neighborhood. When residents voiced concerns, they attended an HOA meeting promising they would only be growing/harvesting/selling sod. They lied. They are clearly a compost facility which lends not only rotting flesh smells, but has also attracted thousands of birds and swarms of flies to our once beautiful neighborhood. These nuisances pose a health risk to our families AND safety risks to the nearby airport. Please know who you are doing business with before trusting or getting involved with Prairie Dirt Solutions.

From the onset, this company has brought misery to our neighborhood. They represented themselves as a sod farm, but they have brought extreme noise, dust, an unbearable smell (sod farm?), flies, thousands of birds, and have reduced the quality of life in this lovely, thriving neighborhood to the point of concern for our health and safety. We are in the flight path of Will Rogers World Airport, and I have great fear that a plane engine can ingest these birds and cause a catastrophic crash in our midst! We need immediate help and relief!

It’s not necessarily the business I’m upset about, it’s the location and lack of respect that Prairie Dirt Solutions has towards its neighbors. They have brought about a foul odor and an infestation of birds, gulls, and flies into our neighborhood which all show a safety concern for the residents of our home. Initially, this was a said to be a compost company. Now, they are a dump and trying to apply for a mining permit. Prairie Dirt Solutions is bringing down the property value of our once beautiful and non-foul smelling home. If I can’t trust or respect you as a person, I don’t know if I can trust or respect your work.

It smells like a rotten dog food plant. If you are using PDS please know that this business is slowly degrading our little neighborhood and even our kids dont want to play outside because of this smell. It also smells horrible and its only 6 degrees outside but its leaking into our house please help!!

This place has created a disgusting smell in our neighborhood. Every day we have to live with the enormous amounts of flies it creates and the disgusting smell. They have lied to the neighborhood consistently.

This company is destroying the home values of 100s of homes. The stench that comes from this place is not compost, and is making the surrounding are smell of rotten fish. The rights of the many override the rights of one company and they need to resolve the odor issues permanently or move to a location suitable. We dont allow hog farms in city limits for a reason and this is worse than that...

I would give this company zero stars if possible. They have repeatedly lied to our neighborhood and are severely diminishing our quality of life. The smell is repulsive to the point of making one nauseous. We have a very active neighborhood full of young children who used to spend most of their time outdoors however thats not enjoyable anymore. In addition to the stench theres a huge infestation of flies swarming the neighborhood in November. Huge swarms of birds are constantly circling overhead right in the flight path for Will Rogers Airport creating safety concerns. This business obviously doesnt care about the awful effect theyre having on hundreds of households.

Please do not do business with these people. They lied to the neighborhood next to them before they opened telling us through our HOA they were going to be a sod farm. Fast forward several months and they are not only NOT a sod farm......they are a full blown composting facility with a deal with the Purina Dog Food plant in Edmond to compost their dog food waste. Our neighborhood smells like death even inside our homes and the flies are like Ammityville Horror. We continue to attempt to work with them to avoid a lawsuit but they just continue to lie and tell us they are working to make things better as things only continue to get worse. If they are this dishonest, selfish and unempathetic to their fellow Oklahoma City neighbors I can only imagine how deceptive they are in their business practices.

Extremely saddened and frustrated by the behavior of this company who have made our neighborhood unlivable. Continued unethical behavior from a local company that has left me speechless. I would expect such lack of regard for people from a large scale greedy corporation. Multiple attempts for basic communication with the company have been made to no avail. I will not be supporting this company and if you care about supporting an honest company, I would look elsewhere.

People interested in prairie dirt solutions (PDS) please read this before you decide to do business with them. Our neighborhood was told by the owner of PDS, their operations would not affect the surrounding residents from their “sod farm” they were building adjacent to our neighborhood. PDS is actually operating a garbage dump next to us and has made our air quality completely horrible. All we have experienced is an infestation of flies, constant birds circling over and leaving their droppings over our homes, and an unrelenting, foul odor on a daily basis.Numerous calls, physical attempts, and emails have been made with no solution from PDS. This unresolved issue has upset our community as well as all our quality of life. Please make it right PDS, be the decent company you claim to be and please please resolve this issue. We just can’t tolerate this any longer.

There is NOTHING enjoyable about the composting Prairie Dirt Solutions is doing right next door to the Williamson Farms addition at SW 119th and Meredian. For starters, the dirt and dust stirred up directly affects us in so many ways. The stench is so overwhelming at times we cannot enjoy anything outside our homes like walking, kids riding bikes, spending time in our backyards, etc. The number of flies right now is totally unacceptable outside and even inside our homes. Not to mention the thousands of birds circling Prairie Dirt Solutions that leaves poop all over cars, houses and even more importantly swing sets, patio furniture, trampolines, etc. making things unusable for the families and children who live in this 700 home addition. People have reported the loss of the sale of their homes due to these issues as well. How can this company participate in a conference when they are horrible neighbors in our area and DO NOT practice anything remotely close to ‘enjoyable composting’?? They lied to us at an HOA meeting about what they would be doing as a business and promised to be good neighbors - we have NOT seen that. I would not recommend this company due to the horrible experience our neighborhood has had since they started their business next door to our neighborhood. It speaks volumes that they do not care how their business is affecting hundreds of kids here and our neighborhood as a whole.

Thank you for taking all the tree waste from the storm. Composting, rather than the landfill, is a much more environmentally friendly way to dispose.
