While we did not end up actually purchasing a vehicle we were really considering, I have to say that we were so very pleased with the staff for allowing us the time with no real pressure to try and work some things on our end. They were more than patient, answered all our questions...even going as far as making us priority consideration by holding onto the vehicle for as long as we needed. While we decided it best to go a different direction instead, we will always appreciate how the staff went above and beyond, and we would definitely still very much recommend considering Thoroughbred Motors if we find ourselves in the market for a used import vehicle again.

THE BEST EVER!!!!! REALLY TOOK CARE OF ME!!! ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!! I drove 2.5 hours to purchase this Porsche. It was better than they advertised on cartrader.com. Its extremely clean, amazing condition, 1 owner. They seem to have lots of vehicles that are very nice for fair prices. I couldnt bring the car home the day I purchased do to my schedule so they held onto it for a week for me. I picked it up a week later and sadly 30 min into my drive home the car broke down. Allen.... sent a tow truck right away and had the car put in the shop the very next day. He had everything taken care of at no charge to me. He also kept me up to date with every step of the car repair. I bought this car used, as is, no warranty, no promises. When it broke down I though... OMG Ive just made a very expensive mistake.... what in the world am I going to do!!!!!? Im still in shock a used car lot would take care of an issue on a vehicle theyve already been paid for. In just blown away and extremely grateful. Other people have told me thats just the kind of people they are. Ive been driving the Porsche for a couple weeks, everything had been great, everything is fixed and Im loving it. If for sure but from them again. The most honest, trustworthy used car lot ever!!!! I have been there twice. On paper, they have an impressive stock, but when you get there, their sales people are aloof and dismissive. They ask a lot for cars that have been sitting around for a while. I attempted to open the trunk on a car and the lift struts were worn out. The trunk seams were dirty and the car was barely detailed. The tires were pretty worn as well. These cars arent in a thoroughbred class. I think Id have a better time with the folks on 39th st.

Very friendly, non-pressure atmosphere. Dan and Alan are great too work. Pleased with our experience and will not be afraid to conduct more business with them, of the opportunity arises.

Called during open hours on 4 separate occasions about a truck they had in stock, and never bothered to call me back. on the 4th attempt, someone picked-up and then immediately hung-up the phone. i guess they dont need my business. wish i could give 0 stars, cause u deserve it.

As a car salesman myself I was very disappointed in the performance and the lack eagerness by the staff to take the time to let me test drive a GX 470. He let me wait 15min before telling me the dealership was going to close in 20min and suggested I come back the next day. Poor salesmanship & missed out on a sale.

My experience here was great. They had the car ready for show when I got there, they were easy to negotiate with and didnt try and force anything on me. The car was great as is the rest of their selection, and if I need anything else I will be back there.

Allen and Dan are kind, friendly and helpful. They personally select and drive the vehicles they sell, and the quality of what you’ll find here is consistently above competing dealerships. They went out of their way to provide a great experience from my first question to my final signature. Would recommend them to any potential car-shopper. If you’re looking for a luxury import particularly (Mercedes, BMW and others in that class), this is your best bet for great cars, in great shape, at fair prices, with great service.

Allen was really great in helping me locate a 3 series BMW convertible for my wife. We had a small issue post inspection and he stepped right up and helped us remedy right away. I had been leery of a non major dealer purchase but Allen put that concern to bed right away. We did the deal in a couple of hours soup to nuts...he even worked directly to answer my lenders questions. Now my wife is tooling around looking great in an awesome ride at a much better price than I could have gotten anywhere else!

Yes friendly, but don’t like to negotiate on cash deals. I have read reviews and Dan seems to provide great service, but Dan wasn’t the dealer we spoke with. Vehicle was priced 12,488 but now 13,488, dealer stated Was getting new Shock I guess the price of shock work is reason for cost hike.Thank you Dan and Allen for meeting us some of the way, I have a large family and will be in need of two to three vehicles. Cash Deals are really convenient and beneficial. I hope we can continue to do business. Again, thanks for the rectifying the matter feels good to experience when a business reverses your decision of a not so good experience.

I have owned several BMW models in the past and always dreaded the salesmans calls and texts asking me when was I going to buy their car. A few years ago i bought a nice Subaru from here after a week the turbo blew up they fixed it 3 times using the cheapest parts possible after the 4th time getting sent to the shop i gave up and sold it back to them for 1000 WHAT A RIP OFF AND HORRIBLE COMPANY just a warningId leave negative stars if possible

Dan is the man! I was an out of town customer (KC) and was very nervous about purchasing a vehicle in another city. Dan took the time to answer all of my questions, and was up front about both the positive and negative aspects of the car. After he received an inspection report from the Lexus dealership, he had the rear brakes done on his dime because I wouldnt want to send you home with worn rear brakes. I would definitely go to Dan again. You will find honesty and integrity at this dealership.

I personally have bought two cars from Dan, including my family, its closer to ten. Dan is honest and fair. If he doesnt have the cat you want, he can find it, but chances are there is something on his lot that you will fall in love with.

Our experience was excellent. We purchased the vehicle off the web based on information obtained from Mr. Derr and photos off of the company web site. The Lexus SC430 arrived in Columbia, MO just as described - PERFECT! Mr. Derr even assisted in arranging transport for the car. Excellent company to do business with.

I bought a used car from them, and they were really nice and were helpful. The only downside was that I felt like I was pulling teeth trying to get what they promised me. I had to call several time for a new remote and I went there once to find out he could not do it. After I finally got one, the remote was for a different brand of car, but it works. They try to have the luxurious appeal, but dont ace it when it comes to taking care of the customer.They also failed to tell me that my car needs premium, but I guess Im expecting too much from car salesmen.

I bought a beautiful Lexus from them six years ago which has been one of the best vehicles I have ever had and I have had a few as I am 75. There was no pressure and it was the most pleasant vehicle transaction I have ever had.

Bought a BMW Z4. Sales person said it had been serviced recently. All gaskets had been replaced. This was false. No services were done. And when I brought it in to the dealer. It needs a new top as well. So almost $6,000 in repairs. This dealer like any other dealer in OKC aer BS.

Very friendly salesman and owner.However, we made the mistake of not taking the Subaru we ended up purchasing to a mechanic we trust. The Forrester we purchased was way overpriced. Plus, we ended up trading it in because of several problems that came up not even a month into owning it.

I had the opportunity to spend some time at Thoroughbred Motors. They are polar opposite of the normal car dealerships. They carry high end luxury cars that are actually affordable. I live in Shawnee and drove to OKC because their inventory was thousands less for comparable cars at other dealers. I drove an Audi A8 that was amazing and $8,000 less than anywhere else for a comparably equipped model (STILL UNDER FACTORY WARRANTY TOO). The pricing is like your personal shopper pre-haggled for two weeks to get it to the lowest and then they called you in. These guys are NOT your normal mega lot car salesmen. They are not pushy. When they struck up a conversation it wasnt even about cars. They are just genuinely nice people. It wasnt until I asked to see the Audi that cars were even mentioned. Its not a huge car lot, but they still brought the car up to front door for me so I didnt have to walk to get it. Test drive and post drive inspection (played with all the buttons) I was by myself. Thats a good thing. Nobody hammering features and benefits. Its quite an experience. Its a small town feel with service to match. Not once did they ask for the sale. If only they carried commercial vehicles, then I could give them ALL my business. Wish there was a TEN STARS button. Just ask for Allen or Dan and relax. Youre in good hands!

I have purchased over 15 vehicles from Dan over the years and found him to be an absolute professional. I have described to Dan a particular type car I would be looking for and the accessories needed and he always came through, to the point that I have purchased vehicles from Dan, site un-seen, because he (Dan) would tell me that the car has what I had told him I wanted, leather, remote key, etc. and not once have I been disspaointed. One Lexus had an issue that Dan nor I knew existed untill after the purchase. Dan repaired it, out of his pocket, and I had of course signed the document AS IS when I made the purchase.
