I enjoy the wonderful variations of fabric and hobby items. I love taking my children, but really like taking others children, who love learning new skills, such as sewing and baking. I was not taught by others, but love teaching others amazing life skills. JOANNS makes it easier with their variety of what is known as today as hobbies or extracurricular. With all the different types of materials, they have staff to help aid. I wish it wasnt so far from my house. Always worth the drive though. If you need fabric this is one of the best options in town. They have great sales too. I also highly recommend their seasonal decor.

Found some lovely chunky yarn for Mosaic crochet, and ended up convincing others to fall down the rabbit hole of crochet with me while in line for check out. The staff were super helpful, and my fellow customers super friendly. All around a 10 out of 10 would shop again!

I was shopping for a neoprene material for a table surface while playing cards. I was surprised to discover they have a couple of options. Its $25/yard, but thats cheaper than other mats Ive found. Its good to know they have it when Im ready to purchase.

They stock items in the wrong place and will not honor the price the items are located at. I was going to buy a pair of scissors that showed 29.99 on tag but the girl said oh those are 49.99. Manager didnt even want to honor the price with 4 pairs hanging in the spot. I get to register with coupon 20% off everything on all regular and sales items was told coupon was expired, I asked how when it says good until May 7, 2021 same manager acted like he just didnt care. Need to learn customer service better and not tell customers the are wrong.

Everytime I go to Joann’, I can look all day, but can’t ever afford to buy. They are way too pricey for someone on a very fixed income. I quilt to help others but it’s very seldom I can find anywhere in Oklahoma City to buy fabric. I do occasionally find some at Walmart but the quality is not there.

The store has a variety of fabrics, and other arts and craft needs. Went there for the learn to sew class and Lori was amazing. The class was not boring at all. She is very helpful. I left feeling like its time to take on a big project not that I will but the feeling was great. Staff was helpful in helping me locate what I need for the class. Tiffany was awesome!!! I will recommend taking a class with Lori if you have a new machine or just new to sewing like me!!

I give them a 3 because they offer great merchandise, unfortunately finding it is another thing altogether. I asked an employee where something was and she said they didnt have any. Online says that they have 20 in-stock she says no. 10 minutes go by and I find the 20 in-stock items as well as another size of them. As long as you are not in a hurry and dont have to ask for help its great

Great specialty fabric selection! Kinda pricey. I definitely recommend using coupons and checking our sales where possible. Youll definitely be able to find everything you need!

I went in and bought a lot of fabric and the girl who cut it, did a terrible job. She cut it carelessly and it had jagged edges all the way down. I also don’t know if it was the pair of scissors she used, but it was completely frayed. Her name started with a J, by the way. Please teach how to cut fabric properly. It’s expensive in the first place. I’ll drive all the way down to the Norman location from now on, I’ve never had this issue there before.

My only real gripe that I have about this store is its cleanliness. It just feels and looks a little run down which is surprising because its not in a bad area of town. They really dont have anything that I typically purchase for myself but my wife spends a lot of my money here. Customer service has always been good and their products are pretty fairly priced. Pick up orders are easily processed as well.

Left one star because zero wasnt an option. HORRIBLE customer service. Apparently, the current management and staff dont know their products. Called ahead about an item listed on the website to make sure that they had it. After being left on hold for several minutes, they said that they had the item in stock. Literally drove all of the way across town to find out that, not only did they not have it, they didnt know what the item was. Absolutely the last time that I will shop at any Joann Fabrics.

My wife absolutely loves this place. The staff is very knowledgeable and prices decent.

Always trouble for me. I cant not buy something here! I love quilting and craftwork and I can get it all here..sometimes a little bit pricier than other craft stores, but most dont have fabric and fabric is what I got for.

They were closed. Their systems were down, so we even unable to fill an order for curbside pickup.

Smaller store than West Coast. Beautiful and expensive fabrics but $49 a yard for fur is to much.Doll making supplies like other stores but dont carry joints.I drove 30 min to see if they had them after no one would pick up the phone and holding for 20 min. I received the same reception when I got there....not a soul seen me.No need to go again.

I love this Joann. The only downside is that if you go during a busy time you may have to wait in line. I would budget your time responsibly. Would I go here in a hurry? Probably not.They have a wide selection of both fabric and art supplies. This Joann has better offerings than other Joann stores Ive been to. I definitely recommend looking into coupons before you go too. As others have said, downloading the app gives you more to use. They also accept competitor (like Hobby Lobby and Michaels) coupons at the register.

Best store ever for fabrics and yarn =)

Curbside is a joke. Placed an order literally over a week ago. Told it would take a week and a half or more. They were way behind on orders. Just got an email- the items I ordered were canceled.On a normal day before corona- they were not organized. They seriously need to have an efficiency expert to analyze this store or may be there needs to be more stores in this sizable metro area. Checkout has always been a grueling process. If I go to through the door and see that the line is long at checkout. I leave.The online service is great. You will have your products delivered to your house within a week. Faster than curbside.

. There is a lot of negativity about this store.The staff goes out of there way to help there customers. I visited this store today, there was a lot of people waiting to get there fabric cut. They are working as fast as they can to get the people taken care of. They had 3 people cutting fabric and another one come to help.People, you need to be a little more courteous, & little more understanding.They don’t have to be open, to help with your sewing & crafting needs. We are all in this together.

The best prices on patterns. Awesome sales. I got a pattern and fabric for 3 Skirts for about $30. Not bad!! They do need more staff on the floor and at the register. No one was around to answer questions and only 1 cashier, several customers checking out at the same time created delays.

Good crafting materials

BE WARNED: Yesterday was my first day ever coming to this store it will also be my last. Im an interior decorator and had my seamstress with me. My friend started coughing and saying her mouth was so dry and she felt like she was choking. I asked a young girl if she could grab me a water and bring it to her. The girl was so rude looked at my elderly friend she could clearly see she was coughing. Then proceeds to tell me that I can go up to the register and pay for it myself and bring it back. At first I was shocked to have been spoken to like that by a clerk and then realized this new generation is useless and disrespectful. I will never go back here again and JoAnns lost out on a good paying client.

I went here (the Rockwell location) instead of my usual Norman store for the larger selection. As it was not my usual store it was very easy to get turned around. I also am buying things to begin my Christmas present ventures. I had so many coupons, and needed to do multiple transactions. I also had so many questions I didn’t know where to begin. I was having more anxiety than fun trying to figure it out. Kerry and Bri were so incredibly helpful. Kerry answered all my questions the 20 times I hunted her down, and was never irritated or impatient with me. She always went out of her way to help me, and make sure I was able to get what I needed from the trip. Bri was extremely patient at the register with my overwhelming needs. The staff was great, and I won’t mind traveling across the metro to go here again thanks to those girls!

We came for the sale after Christmas and everyone (even the employees) said that it would be open until 9pm. We arrived at 4 and the intercom said they were closing in 30 minutes. Everyone was confused and when I went to check out my coupons werent applied so I felt shoved out and it was a stressful experience.

This store is fairly cluttered and disorganized. The employees are very nice and try to be helpful, but there just arent enough employees here, so you end up waiting for a long time to have your fabric cut and then wait again to check out. If you need something, it is probably here (somewhere) but give yourself plenty of time for your trip to this store.

I called today to see if a product was available, the young lady, Olivia said she wasn’t sure if they had the large bottle of “Grandma’s Spot Remover” however she took her time to check it out for me. Helpful staff

So due to the current state of the world JoAnns is limiting people to come inside. That in itself is great and way better than most stores. What they arent doing is telling the people who wait outside (for sometimes an hour) when they are closed and no longer letting people in. Instead they hide inside and look at you through the doors not saying anything. I get the need for limiting the people inside, thats great of them. They could at least have the decency to let everyone waiting know whats going on. A handful of people waited outside not knowing what was going on. While I applaud their effort Im never going back. Michaels will get my business even if I have to drive twice the distance.

Joanna Fabrics and Crafts is my favorite place to get fabric, jewelry, and baking supplies. If you wait until they go on sale you can get a really good deal. Their decor is about the same as any other craft store, in fact Michaels Crafts has more unique decor items, but joanns is fine. The yarn and paper crafting section is about the same too. It just depends who has the better sale.

They sell fondant. A bit low on supplies but its the weekend after Black Friday so nbd

I have only been once. I was like a kid in a candy store. I did not walk the whole store. It was clean. I was making an apron, and lots of fabric selection. Very pleased.I noticed some saying service took longer. There was only one lady cutting fabric. It did take a little longer to get checked out.I was still very pleased. I will go again

When there’s a sale it’s great! Otherwise this place is on the high priced side. The material is what really makes this store worth visiting. Such a wide array! And last time I checked, they accept their competitors coupons to price match.I’m sure they have an app as well. LOVE their yarn selection! They also have a TON of fabric options and some decor stuff. The yarn is my main focus though. They have three or four aisles dedicated to just yarn. So many options! Brands, colors, sizes, textures, prices, gauges, etc. They have an app too!

Are you looking for a bad time? Then this is your place! No one in here knows anything. They cant help you with anything. They cant find anything. With attitudes rivaling those at the DMV, youre sure to have the most miserable time of your life compounded by the frustration of knowing how simple shopping at a store like this should be. You can see Hobby Lobby from the parking lot of this store. Go there for a less miserable time. By the way, I wrote this while standing in line watching the employees move with the physique and speed of hippos.

This is a smaller Joann Fabrics, and while always clean and tidy, it often feels picked over. The customer service isnt great. I frequently feel like they are annoyed that I am interrupting whatever they are doing by trying to checkout.

Staff is helpful. We have not found two classes that online it said this Joaans had. Also not had one item needed. But for normal items they are GREAT!!!

As usual, a nice array of choices - our preferred fabric/sewing stop. Longer hours and open Sundays. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. I recommend downloading the app for easy coupons before visiting. I like that they have attractive reusable bags available for purchase.

Im new to sewing and I wanted to get a pattern and try to make something. I was hoping to talk with someone and get pointers and fabric suggestions. Unfortunately there was only one cashier and one lady cutting fabric. And BOTH had huge lines. I tried wandering around for 30 minutes hoping to find someone to help me, but no dice. This store is huge. It should be staffed better.
