Great bunch of guys, they fixed my truck and had me up and running. I highly recommend!

They used o do all my vehicles, today i had my daughter take her 2008 mazda 6 in for a trans flush, little did we kniw that does not include a new trans filter, the charge for the flush was 199.00 plus tax, i called them and they stated a flush does not include a filter, somebody help me, flush and no new filter! As i explained my issue he said he would charge me 250 on top of the flush to drop the trans pan and put a new filter on and gasket, i told him they were out of their minds, they lost a customer!

I definitely will NOT be back! I didn’t pass emissions and was told that my catalyst was tampered. We first went to Midas for a quote and they told us that we needed a whole new catalytic converter and quoted us $1,090. We had heard from a family member to try a place called Alvarez Muffler first before going through with Midas. After the mechanic at Alvarez looked at our car, he determined all we needed was a new flex pipe. He charged us $117 for the part and labor! Clearly Midas just wanted our money! After getting the flex pipe replaced we took it back for emissions and we passed. If you want to be screwed come here, if you want to be taken care of go to Alvarez!

These guys were able to help me when I was turned down by 3 VW dealerships. Diagnosed the problem and got the part two days later and installed it. They are very helpful and do whatever they can to help. Highly recommend.

I was straight up lied to by the manager JT, and one of the techs. After my oil change, I began noticing a burning smell. My good friend who is a mechanic checked under the hood to find that the oil cap was left off and oil had been splashing out onto my engine. My oil was found to be low and dirty. Next, we found that the brake fluid cap had been left off as well. This causes contamination from moisture in the air and can lead to brake failure. I took it back to Midas to be addressed. First, they told me the warranty was void because my friend looked at it. After a few minutes of talking they finally changed the oil for me. When I expressed my concern about the brake fluid, they assured me that the brakes felt fine and that the fluid was okay. I continued to press them and asked that they do a contamination test again so that I could see. Rather then show me, they threw it away and immediately went and flushed and replaced my brake fluid.I appreciated that they made up for their mistake, but they lied right to my face. I wont be going to Midas, or at least this location, anymore.

Fast and quick service. We brought our car in for an emissions test. Midas on Washington Blvd in Ogden, UT worked us in within 5 minutes of checking in. The staff is super friendly.

We had a sudden, urgent service need while out of town. They got us in for a major repair on a day with short staffing.

The guys here are great. Treat you right and get the job done. I wont go anywhere else.

I thought I needed a lot of work on my car and brought it to see what. Jiffy lube told me I needed to flush my brake fluid.. Midas topped off my brake fluid and said thats all they saw was wrong, it did not need to be flushed (they checked it with a meter) and did everything for free!

The team at Midas found my trucks problem and fixed it right even worked a little late to get done

One day after work, I was interested in visiting Hy and Mikes Pawn Shop next door, so I parked in the nearby parking lot in a stall that was not specifically marked as Midas property. I was in Hy and Mikes for approximately 1 minute and I come back to my car to find out that my car had been booted for being in Midas parking stall (though it was not clearly marked as such).30 minutes and $75.00 later, I was able to leave after paying the tow truck company. This experience left me feeling very disappointed in Midas and made sure I would never patronize them.

These dudes gave me a reasonable estimate for parts and labor and theyre getting my truck squared away just days before my big game hunt, these guys are legit.

I am updating a previous review. Apologize for length of comments but maybe itll help someone else avoid some frustrations I encountered. A situation of my work schedule making it next to impossible to get a vehicle in to shops I have trusted in past and their being booked out to a couple weeks, vacation coming up that weekend, living in an apartment and no garage/work area, and the need to have my one vehicle safe and operable ASAP led me to select Midas as they were only shop with an open slot. First of all, I will say the guys were nice enough and did the the repairs as agreed within a relatively rapid timeframe. I appreciated the mechanic showing and confirming to me the hub I suspected was bad was indeed shot (didnt catch his name). He also indicated and showed me struts which appeared to need replacement. It was obvious struts were worn and I had felt a couple zinging jolts while hitting bumps. I left the truck under impression I was getting two new hubs, two new Monroe-Magnum struts, a leveling kit, and alignment. When I picked up truck, the defective side hub was done, struts installed, leveling kit installed, and alignment done. I checked the paperwork and it indeed listed one hub, so my mistake going with verbal communication. I only agreed to the job because I thought both hubs were being done, in part because of excessive high cost. It ended up being better that only the one side was done. Lance, the shop manager, did indicate the other hub was good and didnt need to be replaced.The part number I was given for strut quote was 153028, the Monroe -Magnum. The Monroe-Quickstep (172292) which is less of a product was installed. There was an issue with parts numbers and generic coding. This really aggravated me and an easy internet search validated the incorrect part. I contacted Lance, the manager at Midas, explained my frustration and concern, and he made the situation right. At no time was he unprofessional or disrespectful. He was very calm and actually listened to what I had to say. Midas ended up putting in the struts based on original quote part information and did a good job. A paying consumer should always know specifically what is being installed on/in their vehicle, and this information should be readily available.What I learned? Auto parts are grossly marked up and the markup varies by the shop. They get you on auto parts just as bad as the medical industry does on inflating costs by hundreds of percentage points. For reference: Rock Auto is considered an excellent online parts source for the DYI auto owner. They offered the same Monroe part (153028) that O’Reilly sells for 349.99 at 172.79 (+177.20) which Midas offered at “list” for over 550.00 (+377.21 per strut). I couldn’t find a PRE 515151 part on Rock Autos site but I found a Moog 515151 for 117.79. This was 64.20 less than O’Reilly Auto Parts and 190.67 less than the Midas “list” price of over 300.00. The only leveling kit on Rock Auto was a “2.5” inch lift listed as part no. 35035 at 47.79 and likely compatible to what I got installed but was charged 170.00 for. All I know is that the leveling kit was verbally identified as a Pro Comp component. The labor rate was 476.00, of which 99.00 was for an alignment. From what I have researched, typical shop rates. After parts and labor charges, they still netted several hundred dollars due to the markups.The shop did get a software upgrade after things were escalated to Midas corporate. Generic part numbers will no longer be listed as all parts numbers/auto parts were updated. I guess it will give the shop less problems with overly picky and inquisitive customers such as myself. As for me, barring major engine or transmission work, I’ll be doing my own repairs from now on. Next time Ill rent a vehicle if in a similar predicament.

I went to go check with Midas today about getting a tire for my motorcycle. Before I went in, I ran over a couple doors down to check on something and while I was there, the guy from Midas called to have a boot on my truck. The guy said I should have gone over there first. While I get that, waiting next to no time to have a boot put on seems desperate and petty and I’ll never go back there.

They were quick to get me in and had my car fixed quickly.

My Grandpa told me, Those are honest good people there. Now Im taking my 92 Cadillac in to them. I know they will care for my Cadillac, because it use to be his.

Men are a little short to speak to when calling for quote. Otherwise average shop.

Completely wasted my time today. I explained I have a muffler I purchased that I need to get installed. I was told to come to the shop. So I drove an hour to the shop to be told they dont install parts not purchased at their shop. So I went to a shop near by and had it installed. You have lost a customer today.

Juan and the guys are awesome, they found a problem with my brakes that the other shop didnt find, the other shop wanted to change parts that didnt need changing. Overall it cost more, but, in the long run it will save me money because I didnt pay less at the other place only to get hit with an even bigger charge when their fix would have been the wrong thing. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I feel so much safer now knowing my brakes were repaired the right way. I will be coming to you for anything my car needs that you can do there.

They over charged me for 2 cars i had them repair and neither car was done correctly. I paid for things that didnt fix the problem and my check engine light is still on. Use to go there for everything thinking they valued me as a customer but tht clearly isnt the fact.

They seemed like I was interrupting them from working on their personal cars, showed them the on line commercial for 17.76 oil change they said no it doesnt have a code and walked away apperantly you guys make enough money so took my business else where. #support local?

I am very happy to bring my vehicle to this Midas. The service is great and the prices are very fair. They are also honest. I dropped my vehicle off thinking it needed new brake pads. They called me back and told me the brakes were fine and did not need to be serviced. I value that honesty and have taken my vehicle there since.

Ive been coming here for years due to the convenience of its location. Generally its fine. They are friendly and helpful. Today though, I got a call that my car was done. Something super easy to fix was done on it, and he said to come pick it up. I said Id be there in 30 minutes. I arrived 40 minutes later, and my car was still up on the lift. I went up to pay and the manager told me no one had gotten to it yet because they were super busy. I am patient. I wouldnt have minded waiting longer at home. But being told something is done when its going to be two more hours? What the hell? Then when it was finally done and parked outside, I watched four people walk in and out and be helped before someone got me checked out. I understand being busy, but this was really frustrating.

I took my car there for a diagnostics they told me I needed to change my spark plugs and that one of the holes for the plug was stripped and that it would cost 3500 to fix that issue before they could finish diagnosing my car so I payed $124 dollars and left. When i started my car it was shaking and making a clicking sound and stalling out on the way home. When I was getting my spark plugs replaced they noticed that one of the plug wires wasnt connected at all and it also wasnt stripped like they said so I called and explained to them what they did and asked for my money back seeing how they only made things worse and their response was nope . I definitely dont recommend this place and I will never go there again.

Checked my car over for a check engine light and found that it was a loose gas cap. Gave me advice about the transmission and charged me nothing. I’ll be back.

If your looking for fair and straightforward mechanics to get work done on your car. Then this is the place you need. It isnt the cheapest shop in town and they will point out any issues above and beyond what you went in there for and try to make the up sell.

This place has terrible people that work here. They are people that only want to make other peoples lives hard. Instead of saying hey your truck will be towed, they let us park and walk away and called the towing company to have our truck towed. We were only in there for 10 to 15 minutes and they already had truck hooked up. We used to do alot of business there but not anymore.

Went for an oil change, got there at 9:06 am, they brought me right back(yay) but then proceeded to take until 11 am, with no line, and I was told 45-60 min. This service is beyond SLOW. Go on a day when you have to be no where else, Juan and the men seemed friendly through out but they just left the truck on the ground SITTING ready, and paid for, for 30 MINUTES. I wont go back.

Slow service, and the mechanic that worked on my truck left dirt and grease marks on my seat.

I came in and am currently in a more then horrible position and the manager JT and an employee Juan have been nothing but helpful and extremely kind! Not only did they just listen to what I had to say (kind of venting) they really did listen and talked and are now trying everything they can to help me get my car fixed as much in my budget as possible!! I would MORE then recommend coming to this Midas to get your services done! They are amazing people!! ❤️

Ridiculous. Charged me $60 for “diagnostics” on a burnt out light bulb part. Then wanted to charge me a 100% mark up on a new part. On top of that the manager is rude as hell. Definitely don’t bring you’re kid into the store he might have a meltdown when they make some noise. Terrible experience, I feel robbed and want people to stay away. This is one of the mechanics your parents warn you about.

The best auto service ever! JT and his team are extremely helpful and they are honest. They wont give you the run around. They even rotated my tires for free since they were already removed for break inspection.

Took my Land Cruiser in for an exhaust issue, emissions, and safety. After receiving the incorrect part, they ordered the correct one as soon as they could. Even though it took a bit longer then anticipated. They took care of me and gave me a great deal of service they could throughout the whole situation. Thanks Midas team!

Terrible service, rude owner. I asked for high mileage full synthetic 5w-30 they gave me full synthetic 10w30. I spoke with the owner he basically told me there was nothing he could, or would do. I did manage to get my money back by calling their corporate office and lodging a compliant. If they couldnt even get an oil change right I shudder to think what more complicated work done by them will be like. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Very helpful, I only needed a small thing worked on and they didnt even charge me. They helped immediately and I was able to get back on the road quickly.

Other than the high shop prices. They were great and fast on getting my emmisions done.

Highway robbery. I was charged $124 for a diagnostic (I later learned many DIY auto parts stores do this for free, or you can just buy a diagnostic computer for $22 on amazon) and then told replacing two valves would cost $1,800 and take 3-5 days. They quoted each valve at $571.83 - BMW sells the part for $300, and I can find a third party replacement on amazon for $54. They also quote $514.35 for labor on a 1.5-2 hour repair.It should be criminal to so egregiously take advantage of those, like myself, who arent educated about cars and mechanical problems. Dont trust these people with your money.

The service was a bit slow. It was busy and had ac work done in the summer. Could explain why it was slow.

Got an emissions test done elsewhere and they failed my car because I had a hole in it. Took it to Midas and they fit me in the schedule literally in about an hour. Lance even moved my appointment time up because I had another pressing appointment later in the day. I got there, and they replaced the muffler in no joke, 30 minutes. Amazing customer service and work! Highly recommend going to Midas! Thank you Lance! Oh and ps...this is my first ever review, I was that impressed with Midas!

Took my car for an oil change and end up replacing the oil pan. How is that possible? Took my car for overheating problem. They replaced a fan and the problem still there..took it twice no solution...so, it looks that they guess a possible solution and go on to the next if their guess doesn’t fix the problem. Also how many mecanichs are truly certified to touch the customers vehicles? This place creates more doubt that certainty. Sad. I won’t go back there anymore

Lance and staff were extremely courteous, prompt and helpful in resolving a problem with a previous muffler repair from another Midas Shop. I am absolutely appalled at the so called customer service this establishment offers!!!! They have given extremely dishonest work to my disabled and on a fixed income senior citizen grandmother!!!! She has paid them for tons of work that was claimed to be done that never was and is now trying to charge her more for the half asked work their employees have done and the things they failed to mention and failed to do. I would never recommend this place to anyone especially if your elderly or uneducated in vehicles in my opinion they will do anything for a buck and will take advantage of those who simply dont know any better.

After having my brakes done my vehicle began having the brakes lock up. When it finally happened near another shop they identified immediately that someone had broke off the break bleeder. When I let Midas know what had been said they only denied their involvement. I would think a professional shop specializing in brakes would have identified a problem and at minimum let me know there was an issue.I guess the real take away here is, take you vehicle somewhere they will identify potentially hazardous issues and work with you to get them fixed. rather than passing it off to the next guy.

I liked the people, and the work seemed good, and the timeline...the price was higher than other places but I did it because they could put me in immediately. They found a few more things that doubled the price, said ok, but when I went to pay by credit card they charged me 3% extra, over $50 worth. Nobody else does that to customers, there is no sign, no warning. It was closing time, too late to go to the bank. So buyer beware...couple hundred buck job, no big deal, couple thousand, quite a bit.POSTSCRIPT...they replaced two door hinge pins but neglected to put the new bushings in (which come with the pin kit)...when the door sagged about 1800 miles later, i found broken brittle, thin pieces of the old bushings lying inside the door hinge area...i took them in and they offered to replace the bushings (pennies) but not cover the labor ($100), even though it was the labor that neglected to put in the new ones. Less than a year and 1800 miles, stored in a dry garage. Just poor workmanship and wont cover their own mistakes. I cant trust them again.

My door handle broke and it was still under warranty. Took it to this Midas (but originally had the handle installed at a different Midas). The manager acted like he was doing me a big favor by replacing it. Except instead of it costing $98 like it would have at the other Midas it was $124 (because of extra shop costs). The only thing I got extra was a door panel that wasnt replaced properly and now rattles when I drive. And when I talked to the manager about the extra costs above what the other Midas was charging he told me Im not gonna bow down to you.My advice: go to Danys Auto Service (its a few doors down). Much better price, service and no attitude.

I paid them good money to put an exhaust on my crew cab pickup truck, and had nothing but problems for a full year and a half and finally decided to take it to some real professionals and they told me it was all screwed up and showed me where the axle is hitting the exhaust and why all the hangers dont line up is the reason why it fell off.

It was good.... Good service.... Not my favorite experience, however.
