I highly recommend DE Medlock Auto and Cycle. I took my truck in to have some steering and suspension issues fixed. I received excellent service at a reasonable price. I will definitely come back to these guys for any more automotive work I may need.

Ive been to this business twice now. The first time for a third opinion, which, was different than the first two and least expensive and less complicated fix than Firestone and another mechanic told me. They was charging me around $2000. Dan got this oil pressure problem fixed at $600!! He didnt try to fix something that wasnt broken and tell me that was the problem. I just picked up my 2010 GMC this past Friday. I had the upper and lower ball joints fully replaced and my broken door handle, again, less expensive than other places. My truck was ready each time he said it would be. Dan runs a solid honest quality shop. Give him a try if you havent already!!

The only place that I use in town to work on my Mini Cooper. From my understanding, possibly the only ones in town that can work on Mercedes, BMWs, and such. Dan is great! Had done several oil changes with other people in town when my Mini Cooper started leaking oil. It was Dan that solve the problem saying that one of the other service centers must have lost the copper gasket on the plug of my oil pan. Straightforward appointments and never had any questions about the service I received.

Dan and staff are very good at what they do. I don’t take my cars anywhere else! I trust him when he tells me something needs repair. I recommend him to any of my friends that need a mechanic, so I would recommend him to anyone.

Great company that provides great service. Had an issue with my jeep going into work and I called Dan, he told me to have it towed over since I couldn’t deliver it due to my field of work. Once I had it towed he communicated with me that my vehicle had been delivered and he would get it taken care of. He had an answer for me about my issues by lunch the same day. Very clear about the work he did and the price it would be to have the repairs done. Highly recommend DE MEDLOCK. Will be using them for all my vehicle needs from now on

Spent almost all day looking for a reasonable auto shop to go to. Luckily someone at AutoZone recommended this place to me. The guys here were honest and respectful to me (which these days it is hard to find mechanics like that towards women). I’ll be using them for as long as I’m here in West Texas!

I went over for an oil change, tire rotation and 60,000 mile service, they did a perfect job and recommended me what should I do maintenance on it on the future, good place!

Update August 2021: Once again, excellent service and advice.Dan and the DE Medlock staff prepared my high-miles 2001 Ford E-150 (6 cyl.) van to pull my airplane transport trailer from Odessa, TX to Elmira, NY and back in the hot summer of 2021. 6,015 miles round trip without a problem. For my requested preventative maintenance, Medlock changed all fluids and filters including transmission (a nasty job), changed out the fuel pump (inside the tank), replaced all cooling hoses, the serpentine belt, spark plugs, fixed the AC blower (thanks Christine) and more. They re-balanced my new Michelin tires I had bought at Discount Tire, where the new tires were installed without proper balancing. (Next time Ill ask Dan to sell me my tires to get the job done right the first time.) Good maintenance will likely keep my 2001 Ford E-150 van running well for another 10 years! Not fancy, just functional for my Flight School.My previous review earlier in 2021: Im maintaining a 2001 Ford E-150 Van to make it last another few years. It is still in very good condition and Dan and staff at De Medlock Auto are prolonging its serviceability, especially for my long cross country road trips. (A similar new Ford van would be over $40,000.) De Medlock has fixed numerous issues including a broken door latch to the transmission. I like the detailed invoices and the e-mail reminders for future service. I drive 182 miles from my home in southwest Texas to have my vehicle serviced by De Medlock Auto. Friendly and knowledgeable. Engine had hard time turning over. Dan checked the battery, turns out it was still good but only 50% charged. He checked alternator, turns out that it was still good because it was outputing adequate voltage. He suggested the corroded terminals could be the issue for why the battery wasn’t charging properly. He was right. Cleaned terminals, problem solved. Found the problem, fixed it, good service, friendly guy. Highly recommend. They also have a friendly dog at the shop.

This place is horrible. If you want something broken or a new issue with vehicle. Then thats the place. Had the audacity to tell me Trac control light is giving them a hard time to align the tires and steering. Waste

Outstanding Customer Service and Superior Mechanic WorkMy car was on its last leg, and a neighbor recommended DE Medlock Auto. I called and made arrangements to take my car in. The atmosphere was so pleasant. I told Mr. Medlock what was going on with my car. He said he would check it out and let me know the diagnosis. He had one of his employees give me a ride home. He called me shortly after and told me what was needed, how much the parts and labor would be, (very reasonable) ordered the parts and my car was back on the road in no time at all. The overall interaction is the best I have ever had with any mechanic shop. I am so glad my neighbor recommended this awesome company. I keep several business cards with me so I can tell my friends, family, etc where to get the best knowledgeable, fast, and friendly service for their vehicle. Also, I like the fact they put your car information into the computer so whatever you need next time there is a problem or if its just time for maintenance, there is a record of the make, model, and other specifics, so they can order exactly what is needed for my vehicle. Mechanic performed diagnostics on my car, but wasnt able to perform the job. So he didnt charge me. The prices are great as well, will definitely be coming back.

Being a first time car owner, I decided to go here based on the reviews. Paid about $700 to have the issue fixed, went to pick up the car and it was still having the same problems. 3 months later i took to get a diagnostic and was told that the part i paid for was never replaced. I took the car to Honda who also confirmed that the part was NEVER replaced.Responding to the owner’s response.I did bring in my vehicle and you guys gave me a different diagnosis,I agreed to pay to get the car fixed. I got a call from one of the employees stating that he tore out one of the logs in tire while trying to replace it and went ahead and told me that the problem wasnt with the tire and the cost of fixing it had tripled. I declined having the vehicle fixed and i told him i would just come pick up the vehicle. He told me my vehicle was no longer drivable ( because he tore out the log in the tire) and i had to sign a waiver in order to drive it so they wouldnt be liable. How am I supposed to trust you guys with my car after this experience. I came to the shop based on the reviews i saw online. I did not have one bad experience but two.

Went to these guys to get some A/C work done on my truck and Dan was very knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Dropped it off early in the morning, they even gave me a ride home and they were done by lunch time. Very reasonable on price, fast and friendly service and they support our military. Two thumbs up! I took my car in to get fixed after several other mechanics could not find the whistling sound which would occasionally set my engine light off. Dan immediately diagnosed & fixed the problem in a short amount of time. Another positive experience at a reasonable cost & not to mention a beautiful atmosphere and such a beautiful and friendly dog. Great Service and very honest people. I received a quote from dodge saying it would cost $6400 to fix my car. I took it DE Medlock and they fixed it for $421.00. Very minor issues despite what dodge said and now it runs like new. I will continue to take my vehicle to them for any future needs!
