John, the sales manager there, was very helpful and proactive without being pushy. He didnt try to upsell me to a larger tractor than I needed for our small horse property, though he did explain what larger versus small could and could not do. Again the finance guy was super helpful. Finally, their inventory of used tractors was not just big, but seemed to have tractors in very good condition across the range of possible needs. I look forward to doing business with them again.

Was looking for the best deal on a new cab tractor with loader and mower, called several other dealers before I called Ocala Tractor and pretty much wasted my time. I Recently bought a new tractor, the delivery wad faster than expected. They forgot to put water in the tires,..no problem.They picked the tractor up and took it in promptly to make it right. Went in looking for a zero turn mower. My husband and I went to Ocala Tractor for a new mower. We kind of knew what we wanted and what price range we wanted to be in. When you first get there, you have to hunt a salesperson down, not a biggie, but to some that may be a big deal. We walked inside the business and heard people talking, but werent sure if we were allowed in the back until we yelled hello. Got a salesman and checked out product. Not bad. When we mentioned we were going to shop around, his response was youll be back. Kinda cocky, but its sales. So I got my handy dandy phone and researched the exact product and found a little cheaper elsewhere. He agreed to price match. Bonus points... Then we come back to pick it up, hes with a new customer and refers us to another salesperson. No big deal. We get into the finance office... which I absolutely HATE... and heres why. The finance guy was pushy about warranties. Some may like to hear all that, and we did listen. Until he told us about the battery warranty. You get up to 6 replacement batteries over the time of the warranty. OK, so what if I get a mfg defect battery, does that count against my 6... yes... what if all 6 are defects... then Im screwed. Wasted money for nothing. We declined the warranty and the finance guy says, well I hope nothing happens to your mower when you get it home. Who says that? Do you not believe in your product? Same as buying a new car..... I get it. But I had to add, you better not do anything to it while its being prepped. Finance guy was a little hasty. Just work on your customer service. Most people will be there to buy. Dont work on selling something so hard, as it almost makes it seem as though you dont believe in the product. Be confident not conceited.

So I purchased a used mower from Ocala tractor. I knew it needed a muffler when I bought it. So I took it to my local shop for service, they tell me all the belts need replaced 2 spindles are bad and a pulley. 1000 worth of repairs. So I call and talk to a manager at Ocala tractor and ask it they check them before the sell them. He tells me sometimes and it is what it is. I figured being a reputable business buying used from them would be ok. Well that is farther from the truth with these guys. If your buying used you better go over it with a fine tooth comb. Because they don’t. I should of stuck with my local gravely dealer at least their honest unlike these guys. Stay away from their used junk!!

Of course I will always believe it is best to buy local but if it’s not possible a trip to Ocala Tractors is worth it. I was met out front by John and he quickly assessed my needs. From there he directed me to several different brands and models. He showed little favoritism in the brands but explained the differences in each. I finally decided on the New Holland (I’m glad I did). One thing I hate is the negotiation game and I told John that. I knew what a good price was so just tell me. John did exactly that. There was no back and forth. Just a fair price. And it was low enough that I was able to buy some extras. From what I have seen his price was the best I have seen anywhere. So what about shipping it 500 miles? No issue. It arrived on time in perfect condition with a full tank of fuel. I am thrilled. John also gave me his cell number so I know if I have a question I can just send him a text for a quick answer. I will be stopping in Ocala Tractor occasionally for service parts. Oh, soon after the purchase the service manager called to introduce himself and offer his service any time I need it. Unreal!!! Car dealers could learn a lot from these guys. So in short, go to Ocala and see for yourself. Not only did I leave with a tractor I left with some friends that I will stop in and say hello in the future.

I have been looking for a pump that seems to just not be available anymore. During my search I stumbled across Ocala Tractor. So, I called and got Clay on the phone. I told him my delima, and instead of him just telling me no he does not have what I need, he actually took the time to walk me through some other options that might be easier for me to get my hands on. I have been at this for days, and out of every person I have spoken to, not one of them even sounded remotely interested in anything I was saying, much less did any of them offer me any kind of additional information they just got me off the phone as fast as possible. But not Clay from Ocala Tractor LLC, Clay treated me and my situation as if it was his problem and provided me with more options then I thought I had. And he didnt even get anything out of it. If ever you have a parts or technical question about a part, I suggest talking to Clay. It is a breath of fresh air to know that there are still people out there that genuinely care about their jobs and the people thy come in contact with.A+++++++++

Posting for my husband, Al. Loves his tractor and would recommend it to everyone. The one problem he has is he has lost two pins from the front. Is there another type of pin that he can use? The ones he got wont stay in place. He also wished he was able to get a hook welded on his bucket.I would like to add to this. My husband is very disappointed with the dealership. We had some minor issues and the service department wouldnt take our calls. They said they were going to call back but never did.He was also promised an extra key and we are still waiting for that and for the two pins that were promised.We are very disappointed and wouldnt recommended this tractor as it needs more safe guards in place.

We are a landscaping company and had previously purchased an trenching attachment for our smaller Bobcat around the first of the year from Ocala Tractor. That purchase was a great experience, so I had the confidence/trust to work with them again, and boy was I right. They provided helpful information, worked with me over a period of several weeks, and applied no pressure, while we made the decision to purchase a much larger tractor/skid steer. Our smaller bobcat was not enough for some of our client projects, but it was a big scary jump to purchase a larger skid steer. Ocala Tractor helped smooth that transition for us. They worked tirelessly for over a day working out details to get us the best financing, adding in a trailer at a reasonable price, and answering a ton of questions we had. They did a lot of comparisons between similar machines and gave us several different quotes on the different machines to take everything into consideration. Thomas went above and beyond making sure we had all the info we needed, and he delivered our tractor very promptly for us to begin using it right away. It has been by far the best purchase we have made as a landscaping company. We are already using the T740 skid steer on multiple projects, and we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with Thomas and Eric at Ocala Tractor, and we will do so in the future as our business continues to grow and expand.

Took a new holland 4630 to ocala tractor for fuel getting in oil pan service tech sead bad injector pump 3000$ later still did not fix it Took back to them sead injectors bad after they were allready replace once 750 later get it back still getting fuel in oil has a private mechanic come out and 10min fixed issue was bad valve in the intake manafold that helps with cold starting picked line and engine quit smoking and runs perfect

The paper work was sent after we left and John called us later with the good news. They are delivering this tractor to us, which has decreased our worries about that. Truly Ocala tractor- John- has made this experience a very rewarding and easy one. Totally Totally recommend them. They have good products, and really good prices.

I bought a new TYM T264 ON 12/31/20. I put it to immediate use. With 38 hours on the tractor ( and two weeks after delivery) the H/L/ N transmission linkage broke. They did pick up the tractor within 2 days since they have a first 30 day policy for pickup and repair. The problem was that they did not even look at it till I called and asked the status. I needed the tractor repaired sooner than later. The first service person I spoke to said they had a hundred tractors waiting for repair and theyd get to it when they get to it. Having just spent over 17k for the NEW tractor and implements - that wasnt a very good explanation. I texted the sales guy I bought it from and 5 minutes later I got a call from the service manager. The service manager said he was not told it was a broken NEW tractor, or it would have been looked at sooner. Well, sales and transport knew that it was new. Seems there is no communication between sales, transport, and service. Now a week later, and in need of a working tractor, I wait for parts that were supposedly ordered. I bought the 6 year bumper to bumper warranty and only hope this company is honorable and can improve their communication for the benefit of customer service. At this point I would suggest you BUY YOUR TRACTOR SOMEWHERE ELSE.
