Love getting the fresh popcorn. 🍿 also love to go in just to look at the cute little chickens & bunnies. Went in looking for womens sneakers, but they said they dont carry them anymore. But did I want steel toe boots? No thanks! We ended up buying a big golf umbrella. 🌂 its a great place to go to get almost anything you need for your yard, or outdoors.

Ahh rural king. My favorite place in Ocala. It’s basically red-neck Walmart. I love it. Buy yourself a pool, a bird feeder, a new gun, patio furniture, throw pillows, decor, or a brand new baby chicken…. Heck, buy one of each !!! The prices are so competitive and the selection is every farm girl’s dream. Guys, take your wife out this Friday night and stroll her around the local Rural King before dinner. Sure fire way to win brownie points. And if not, buy a box of brownie mix and make it for yourself ! Win win.

Large store with a lot of merchandise. I found it way too spread out. I saw several items on the website and was disappointed that only one item was in the store. What was more disappointing was when I asked an associate for help finding one of the items, she seemed put out that I was bothering her.

Decent prices on guns. A bit of a selection. Staff acted like they didnt really want to work but eventually got them to show me some guns.

I really enjoy visiting this farm store. Hardware, clothing, tools, some food stuffs, archery, firearms, fishing so much ... Prices are reasonable, parking lot is large enough. Come get out of the heat, get a bag of popcorn and wonder a bit.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!Was trying to check on availability of an item before I drove 45 minutes to the store. After 3 tries, someone finally answered the phone. She put me on hold to check, and after 20 minutes hung up on me. After trying again for someone to answer the phone, she also said she would transfer the call to the department. Well, 30 minutes later I was still on hold. Called again a third time, and asked for a manager. I was on hold again almost 15 minutes before he picked up. He did finally check for me and apologized for the problem. Total time to answer one question was 55 minutes. TOTALLY UNEXCEPTABLE!! If I did this to my patients, I would not have a practice!

They had the canning jars I was looking for, which is good. However, the general environment is not up to normal standards. The lighting is very dim, and the overall stock levels were sparse considering the size of the building. This gave the impression of a cheapskate operation that, for some reason, thinks that rural makes it okay to be less inviting than even Walmart.

Rural King has great prices for your pet food needs. I also purchased an XL crate for our Great Dane puppy. Their prices are much more reasonable than the chain pet stores.

It is a Rural King handy stuff for the farm and some great snacks. Bonus is that it is dog friendly as well. The Rural King branded jeans are not good. I tried 3 pairs and all 3 split the sides near the seams . Other that that they are comfortable but disposable. I like stopping in when I am in the area.

I bought a gun from here 2 months ago. When I finally got a chance to shoot it . It was Jammed up!! Brand new gun didnt work worth a lick!! I took it back to the store and a month later Im STILL WAITING!! I called yesterday and asked the guy if he new when my gun would be back and he said he had no idea. I asked him will they call me when it comes in and he says, yeah we usually call people to let them know... Uhhhh what do you mean you usually call people?? Mind you when I bought the gun I was waiting for 3 hours!! I have no record and I also have my cwp. Absolutely ridiculous!

One of our favorite places to shop.. We had to get some whole peanuts for our parrot and its the one place we love taking out pups... They are always welcome!

Its always nice in rural king but theres never cell phone service but the employees are helpful and the popcorn is always ready.

Located in an old K-Mart building it is huge. Large selection of clothing as well as camping, hunting, fishing equipment and anything you would need for agriculture. It was worth the drive to get there.

Went last week and bought one baby duck, went back today to buy it a mate and I was told I have to buy two at a time.... Told them I bought just one last week and pretty much said it dont matter still have to buy two... But I was sold just one last week?? I dont want three ducks i just want my baby duck a mate!! Rural King...I spend a lot of money here.they have food for my dogs, tools, cleaning supplies, pretzels with peanut butter in them....yum! All kinds of furniture for your yard, and yard decorations. They had peepies!!! Real, live peepies.they were so adorable. I can bring my dog 🐕 and the vet, yes they have a wonderful vet. And you wont spend the money that you do at those fancy vet offices. Food and medicines for the farm animals are always in stock.ife is good at Rural king

If K-Mart and Tractor Supply had a kid out of wedlock and gave it up for adoption and it was stuck in the foster care system and never got adopted and ended up as a carnie operating the ring toss side game. Dimly lit, odd collection of tools, clothes, firearms, food, pool chemicals, and pet food. No identity. Free popcorn. Really nice staff. Super friendly. Three stars.

Rural King is the only retail outlet to have commercial grade auto dealing products of RCP America. Amazing collection that the Pros use. It’s so good they even offer it in 5 gallon buckets. Very helpful staff to make sure you have confidence in your purchases.

Customer Service is lacking here(this the 4 stars and not 5), but when I finally found someone they were friendly and helpful. The store is a bit of a mess especially in the dog food section but they have great prices on their house brand. Also its hard sometimes to find the prices on things as things are on the shelves in disarray and its hard to tell which price goes with which product. If only they had those price scanners throughout the store.

I asked for a water tank I couldnt find and was told to look for it in the next town, instead of them checking. I came back for 3 months until they finally took it down, since they never sold it. Thats corporate pulling a bait and switch. I found several items the same way, they either never had it, or had one once.No matter what you go there for, plumbing or lighting, theyll never have everything youll need to finish the job. It doesnt matter what category you choose, theyll have the pipes of one style and the fittings of another that cant be glues together

Interesting place. Huge floor plan. You need hours to go through the whole store. Chances are they have what you need. Very helpful staff and plenty of them. Just ask someone for help if you need it.I recommend you check out this store to see if its for you.

Left a chainsaw I had purchased from there for service because it stopped spinning. The chainsaw was valued at $175 new and I bought the additional 4 year warranty. They tried to tell me to get it back would cost me $200.97 even though no parts were added... absolutely ridiculous being that I trusted them to bring my product back to a running state just to get gauged instead of considering it a total loss. NEVER doing business with these thieves EVER again.

Went to Country Critters to have two of our cats claws trimmed. They were gentle and quick. We were able to enter directly into the vets office without having to go through the store. Everyone was wearing a mask, and the only other client there at the time was checking out.

I always enjoy going to rural king. This trip was to see if they received the ammo I was looking for. Its a popular size and none was found. I did purchase a new 20 ft cable set up to keep my yearling pup safe. Prices are very reasonable at rural king, and of course the free popcorn tops it off.

This place is in NEED of GREAT IMPROVEMENT! 1) Hard to find anyone to assist you 2) Out of stock on a lot of things 3) No prices on a lot of items 4) The shopping carts all need to be replaced, most have no rubber on their wheels 5) Dirty entrance

There was only one register open with at least 20 people in line . The poor cashier kept asking for help and was ignored. The girl working the customer service desk thought popcorn was more important than taking care of the customers standing in line! Now as for the young lady working the only open register I give her the upmost respect. She was doing everything she could to take care of everyone in a timely manner. Not only was her request for help ignored she was working with a therapy boot on her food without a seat which I know first hand is against the law. Shame on you rural king management! I will be making a complaint with the better business bureau about the treatment I witnessed of this young lady. I have personally been in her position and you are cause unnecessary damage to her foot and you should be ashamed!!!

Rural King is in Ocala favorite they have most of the things that youd want for the outdoors camping hunting clothing footwear. I went looking for ammo because I had heard they had some as you all should know by now theres a shortage. There was none to be had. Apparently they get deliveries once a week but they never know whats coming what caliber anything like that and and clients wait outside hoping to get in and get something that they need they said that they hadnt seen 40 calibers for a long time just 22s 38s in shotgun shells they had a good variety of shotguns. Lots of nice handguns. I saw freezers being delivered in bulk. They have pet supplies and all around assortment of things great place to go Love to go down and just browse the aisles. Friendly staff outdoor equipment and also farming equipment.

There was no one at the register. Only one person up front. Waited in line, for 10 minutes. It was early, but no excuse. Other wise love what they have in the store.
