Philip Bair, Service Manager does an outstanding job. He has the ability to explain whatever problem your equipment has (tractor. cutters, zero turn) and does it in such a way that it is very understandable. Most importantly, he is a great listener, which is hard to find today. He returns phone calls in a prompt and business like manner. A great Ambassador for your company.Richard Bavetta
I recently purchased a Z235 zero turn from sales guy Alex Muller and it was the absolute best experience ever! My noire purchase was made over email. Never had to speak with anyone at all. Had the mower delivered to my house in a day. I’ve used it a few times now and LOVE it! I won’t buy from anywhere else ever again.
On September 24th, 2021 I paid for a 17 yard John Deere cart. They said it was buried in the back of the warehouse and I would need to come back on Monday the 27th to pick it up. Mind you it is about a 45 minute ride each way from my house to Ag-Pro. I call them at 3:30 today and they said no one dug it out yet and they would dig it out and call me within the hour. It is now 6:01. No phone call and they close at 6. I plan on driving there tomorrow and getting a refund.
Dropped my mower of for repair. Service dept Paul was very helpful. Waiting on my quote foe repair.
Had some belts repaired for round baler. Always helpful and pleasant to deal with.
Very friendly places I call in / 1 week later I went to pick up the bags for my 335m 360 turn and this places is amazing so organized and friendly, thank you Ag-Pro
Great people to work with Kevin was very helpful and helped us get what we needed
Was able to talk with a parts sales person upon arrival to get or order the parts I came there to get .
Had a bumpy start at first on a new Morbark chipper, Kassadi made sure the machine and that everything is right on it before I took possession. I am very satisfied with the overall outcome and would highly recommend them
Great service and great people?
Always friendly service.
Love John deere tractors
Exceptional customer service. We needed a new lawnmower and lawn accessories and Michael worked with my husband and I to find the perfect equipment for our needs. We will continue to send everyone we know looking for the same.
Been going there for years ALWAYS good service!!
Sales experience was great! Had lots of different units in stock, and times to order something they didnt have on premise was very reasonable. Cannot wait to take delivery of my new Deere tractor.
I will never do business with agpro again worst buying experience Ive ever had. I bought a slightly used 2018 John deere 333g three weeks ago $49,000 cash. Left it with them a extra week to be gone through and anything wrong with it fixed because it was still under factory warranty. Picked it up took it home took me a couple days to purchase a bucket so it set for about 3 days. Finally I get a bucket and use the machine a total of two hours and it starts having electrical issues wont move gauges jumping all around. So I call them at first they wanted me to get it back to them before they would look at it or for me to take it to a different dealership being as Im two hours away. So I tell them I want my money back then all of a sudden they can come pick it up for me. Its since been in the shop for a week I messaged them about four days in they said they fixed the electrical issue but didnt get everything fixed. I wait another three days message them again now there trucks been down just seems like dealing with a lieing used car lot. Still havent gotten the machine back it could be today or three more days because today is Friday. So I have had the machine 1 week out of 3 they have had it the rest of the time.
Steer clear. Terrible service experience. I would never recommend anyone bring their equipment here for any type of service.I have a ~30 year old JD 750 that wouldn’t start. We assumed it was a bad head gasket. I was quoted ~$1100 by Lawrence Johnson the service manager. After they opened it up, the head gasket was fine, but the exhaust values were warped and needed to be machined. I was estimated another $300-400 plus labor on that one. After that was done and it was put back together, and it still wouldn’t start, they took it back apart and noticed one of the pistons was cracked. I was estimated another ~$500-600 plus labor for that one. I reluctantly agreed. At this point we were already about 5 weeks in and I needed my tractor back in order to maintain my working farm. Finally, about 7 weeks after they picked it up, I was left with a $2700 bill. To top it all off, when the delivery guy showed up with the tractor later that afternoon, they had forgotten to bring the bush-hog that was attached to it when it was originally picked up, and had to go back to the shop to retrieve it.As many reviews before mine have pointed out, the service manager Lawrence Johnson doesn’t have a clue and doesn’t actually care about the clients. He is incredibly unreliable and when asked for a realistic estimate of when work will be complete, rarely was he ever on time. Usually I was calling him the following week asking for updates. He always had some excuse on why they haven’t gotten to it yet or why its taking so long. Contact was always initiated by us as the client.I have no problem with spending money to do repairs, but I am frustrated that the tractor was not assessed correctly when it arrived, having been looked at by multiple professionals who specialize in this equipment. Had I known in the beginning that this could have escalated into a full engine rebuild and cost pretty much half what the tractor was worth, I would have sold the tractor for parts and bought a nice zero turn. I would have expected a professional service manager to have given me that information up front based on their expertise and experience. Instead, they don’t care about the big picture and just fix whatever the immediate problem is in front of them not caring how it affects the customer. I would have been satisfied with him eating a few of the labor hours that were on the invoice. Instead I got “It costs what it costs”. Walking into the meeting he did let me know he was “trying to help me out” and discounted the $80 pickup and delivery. Later in the meeting he also took off a $65 freight charge for a part.I pray that during the warranty period of the work they have done, nothing goes wrong as I can’t even stand to think of bringing it back to them.
Would recommend if you want service here dont ask the guys they dont want to help. There is a very helpful lady in the back who will help you. Thank you
I just bought a bunch of stuff for my john deere lawn mower .... way cheaper than the internet and nice people
I dropped my rayco machine off last Wednesday for repair. Im a commercial business was told i would be next one inline. I was going to call them on Friday but they closed due to Holiday. I Called Monday and was told oh we will try and get to it today and that service guy was off on Thursday. I called Tuesday and was told they reached out to service manager and advised him of my issue. I was told only a few employees work on rayco machines. I called them this Morning Wednesday and was told the same thing. I let the service guy know i was picking it. If you dont have the staff to repair rayco equipment why sell them and be a dealer for them.I will be doing my business with another dealer from now on.
Just bought our John Deere 3046r from here! Excellent work Brien Radley! Your the best.
John Muscles-White is the best to work with on buying parts. He is definitely the smartest guy there, probably in the whole store, maybe in the whole company, possibly the whole world (of parts). Just bring any random part in and let him go to work on it. You wont be disappointed!
Im the type of person who rarely posts or even comments on fb. I usually just observe and note what I see on here. Im a fairly private person. This time I need to speak about something that happened. I am so angry. This is the story: Ag Pro (John Deere) in Ocala notified me the 2nd week of April about a recall on my mower. A recall that has been in effect since Sept of 2017, mind you. I call. First Im told Im too late-the recall has expired. They are not going to fix it. I respond that I just got notice and attach the dated envelope and letter I received. Now they ask me if I can bring the mower to them. Keep in mind the letter they sent me says theyll pick it up. I tell them I cant bring it because I have no trailer. Next they say ok. Theyll pick it up. I dont need to be home and it will cost fifty dollars for pick up. That wont work. I have dogs and dont live in the best neighborhood to just leave it. I would have no proof of who picked it up. Probably be stolen with my luck. I tell them that is not possible. So now they say ill have to wait for their driver to call me in the morning to let me know what time they can come on that day to pick it up. The driver plans his route each morning when he arrives. I work. Im not retired. I leave early in the morning for work way before their driver ever gets to work. I cant take a whole day off waiting for Ag Pro. After a few more emails, they tell me they can come the next day, but 4:15 is the absolute latest they can come. Fine. I ask work to leave early to meet them. I have to use pdo time. I rush home and arrive about 3:15. I put the dogs up-2 Pit bulls locked inside the house. I drive mower outside gate and wait. By 5:45 the driver has not showed. I call the store. The man who answers cant tell me anything about the driver. He says hell let service manager know. No one returned my call. No one ever called or showed. Im exhausted. Ag Pro has made this whole matter as difficult as possible for me. I have a mower that is defective and unsafe and I have no recourse. Im sure fixing the mower out of pocket would be more expensive than buying a new one. The transmission is what has been recalled. I dont feel comfortable asking for more time off work. How many more times will they not show up? They should be falling all over themselves to help me. They sold me a defective and dangerous product, let me ride around on it for over 2 years without notice, wanted me to pay them to pick it up and now have wasted my time and money by not even showing up. I think all this has been purposely done. They know Im a single working woman and are taking advantage of me. They never intended to fix the mower. I think Im especially upset because I have experienced this same type of thing over and over for the last 15 years since Ive been alone. I dread calling to get any type of repair. (I live with a lot of broken things because of that). People dont call back, are late, dont show at all, overcharge and/or do shoddy work. Im reminded more and more every day why I prefer animals to people. Im tired. Im tired of having to fight over every little thing. There is no need for anyone to reply to this post. I am not looking for help of any kind, advice or even sympathy. Just consider this a rant about repairmen/fyi re Ag Pro. Sleep tight peeps.
RUDE. The parts personal was very rude, I called to get some information about spare parts. The person who answered the phone was no patient at all and hung up the phone on me.
The best product with the most knowledgeable staff in every department hands down. So I’m not quite sure what the real reason some people left disappointed but it’s hard to please everyone. But if I wanted to buy a piece of Ag equipment and make sure I was able to get serviced after the sale then AgPro is your only option in Marion County.
The counter man was very polite and knowledgeable. He figured that the bracket I brought was only half of the part I needed. I had spent hours on line looking for the part. He walked into the warehouse and brought out my partI was very pleased with the professionalism of the staff.
Excellent...you can look up my reviews...seldom do I give an excellent review. I had purchased a John Deere ride on mower from Lowes - never ran right. Ag-Pro picked it up when they said they would, returned before the promised date and it runs better than ever. I only had 2.5 hours on the mower and only owned for 6 months. Next time I buy any John Deere equipment I will purchase from this excellent dealer.
You can count on good service from Ernie and the crew in the parts department.
My Husband called to ask about how much his tractor is worth and when he got back with my husband, his answer was gruff and rude, like our question wasnt worth his time!. Then he slammed the phone on my husband so hard I heard it from across the room!!!! Such disrespect!! Never going to deal with them again... This one fellow is ruining it for Ag Pro ... so sad..
Disgusting customer service!! The man behind the service desk was appalled that we even asked him about sales. Then when we got to talk to the ONLY sales person he was very rude and dismissive. I will not be giving this company any business and will recommend friends and family to go elsewhere.
I had their service department pick up my lawnmower to attached a bagger. They picked it up on a Saturday, and returned it the next Tuesday afternoon. They were courteous, efficient, and helpful. My only issue was that when I would call for a status, I would be left on hold for a very long time (15+ minutes), but that could be due to them being very busy at the time I called.
Large selection and great service.
Great service department!
Great work
I bought a garden tractor from them a month ago and used it once and left the key on and killed the battery. They graciously exchanged it for me even though Im a moron. Also, when I came in to buy the tracter, they didnt have the one I wanted in stock because it was the summer season and everyone was sold out. They called around and found me one store that had one left. They delivered it to my house about 3 days later. Just a very professional store/staff.
I am one of the largest lawn care companies in Ocala and I will never purchase from this facility again. I never leave reviews but the conduct that was displayed today was almost unimaginable. The GM of this stores conduct was border line breaking the law, stole from our company, blamed it on a parts guy and threatened to remove it from his check talking no personal responsibility as a company. And the entire time he was YELLING this at us and myself included. Never have I seen such a display of childlike acts especially from the GM. He simply could not conduct himself and was threatening everyone in addition to telling myself off. I was calm the entire time. Needless to say no refund was given even after they admitted fault and said they would take it from the parts guys pay.
Rude staff members. Acted like I was bothering them with my questions. I might be a younger farmer but I was ready to make a purchase, was disrepected and decided to go elsewhere. Dont waste your time, plenty of other dealerships in Ocala.
Great service and great products at ag pro in ocala.
Service dept.very easy to deal with and parts eager to get what you need.
Great customer service especially for any warranty work
Horrible customer service. the people that work there are nice but have no clue . always putting you on 15 min holds ordering the wrong parts any time i order anything even with the serial numbers. also cant find parts for a john deer engine with the serial number . i had to call another john deere dealer just to get part numbers for them to look it up in ocala. it rediculus and somthing needs to change. i always recomend to others not to buy john deere in ocala just because of this reason it sad
Drove about 1.5 hours to pick up a specialty toy that we couldnt find anywhere. Staff was exceptionally helpful!! Great store, great staff!!!
Never thought I’d have to beg for someone to sell me another tractor!!! Tried for last 2 years had to go out town on multiple occasions to get business handled now bought a tractor paid for and trade in delivered and my tractor at Ocala has been loaned out to someone who is getting repairs and nobody seems to care!!! I am supposed to wait until they satisfy someone else What a joke parts dept is great but other than that not much to brag about. Chiefland ag pro always been upstanding Ocala is a different story
Very helpful and very pleasant. The go to place for anything John Deere.
Very helpful at parts counter, but the restocking fee really will make me start looking elsewhere as well.
