Kieth and Owen are the greatest. Their service and knowledge are awesome. I have been going to them for about a year now and they’ve always seem to get me in and out aim a reasonable time. Also had the opportunity to mingle with a lot more of the employees and they always seem to be helpful in whatever I wanted. Great place and great service. The pictures are the truck they built for me.

This store almost got a 1 star review but then we met Paul P. which turned our frustration into a $550 sale. I needed commercial grade racks for my shop but when we arrived and I asked someone where I would find them the associate said, Were out of those racks. I had verified online that they did have at least 1 in stock so I went searching for someone else to help me and that is when I met Paul P. not to be confused with any of the other 3 Pauls that work there. Not only did Paul P. find the rack I was looking for but he found 2 and then talked me into buying another smaller rack for the back of my shop. If I were the store manager, I would promote Paul P. and have him teach the little kids that work with him how customer service is supposed to be!

Ocala store ordered on line store had no information on order told me would call me back never did until they go my text to refund money then all of a sudden they found the product and called me days later now the online store wont return my money to my account said I had to go to the store... Not good business

This store is amazing! We own a local tree service and we frequent the Ocala Northern Tool quite often. Minimally once a week. Every single visit, without fail, we have an amazing experience!! There is a manager by the name of Jamie that we look for as soon as we get in. Even if we dont have questions, we still ask if Jaimie is there. He is such a pleasant person and offers a wealth of knowledge when we do have questions. His crew is always impressive as well, theyre all extremely helpful and kind. Everyone offers a huge smile and a helping hand whenever we have needed it! Thank you Northern Tool and thank you Jamie!!!

We are new to the area. While I was still in NY, my husband was in Ocala, fixing up our new home. But all our tools were in NY! He went to Northern tool for some new essentials. He was very impressed with the service. Was met as soon as he entered the store. He was waited on by Jaime. He helped my hubby get all the tools he needed. Said he enjoyed the store. Things were well organized in the store. They had everything he was looking for. Came home with great new tools. And has gone back for more! The staff were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

This company has fake reviews. STAY AWAY!!I PURCHASED A $250 PUMP AND IT WOULD WORK FOR A COUPLE MINUTES AND THEN SHUT OFF. ITOOK IT BACK THE NEXT DAY. THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD NOT REFUNF ANYTHING, ONLY FIX IT, AND THEN THEY CHARGED ME TO FIX IT. IM AFRAID TO TEST IT, THESE PEOPLE ARE NUTS.SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHEAND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Im an At-Risk Customer, folks...Actually, Id preferred a 4-1/2 Star, but...Honestly, I like the store better than Harbor Freight (they supposed have a Veterans Discount at Northern Tools) and the store is brighter than the competitors.I wish they were closer to our side of town, though....Great staff, once you enter the store, too. :-)

It was alittle bit away from my house, but I will try different places to compare shopping. It seemed like another tool store in Silver Springs. They were not that busy with customers, so I was walking around looking for my item, still with that lost look on my face, trying not to to seem so desperate, and not 1 employee asked if I needed any help, finally after finding my item, I needed another item that went with that, but no one was around, I did see one employee walking as if in a hurry for a cig break. I asked & they did help me, but to their surprise, another employee had moved the items. Both of them helped me. The prices are alittle higher . Dont know if I will go back.

This store was neat and organized. The friendly staff was more than willing and able to help me with all my shopping needs. I highly recommend this store. I live over an hour away but I shop here several times a year; I love the people and the great sale prices.

Excellent tool storage and great service

I had a very bad experience in this store, I bought a machine and when I got home and the lid was beaten, I went back to the store to change it and they had no more! They told me they were going to make a special order and that they would call me when it arrived! They never called and I decided to go to the store and I was surprised that they already had machines in stock but in the same way they did not want to replace it now I do not have the money or the machine and the supposed manager of the store in ocala number 611 jaime kelly has A terrible customer service does not show a bit of willingness to help

Great place to shop!

The employees here are so great! We called just before closing to confirm they had an air compressor hose reel in stock. The guy was polite and took the time to look up the item and confirm they had two in stock. Ordered it online for in store pick up. Went the next day and it was ready and waiting. Picking it up took less than 5 minutes.

Bought a spreader online with a credit card. I live over an hour from the store so I had my son stop by to pick it up. After a brief discussion we decided it was not the right implement for us. Tried to return for credit prior to leaving the store but was told they could not refund without the physical card.Seriously not true as any purchase can be put back on the card simply by having the card numbers. A single phone call could have solved the issue and saved me over 2 hours of driving to take it back. NOT HAPPY....!!!!

Poor return policy! 250 dollar fuel tank broke off at the neck and they wouldnt take it back! Obvious manufacturers flaw in assembly! Refured to take it back!

I really like northern tool there quality is much better than most tool depots and still yet the price is relatively decent I definitely go here before harbor freight in a second and the one in ocala has real good customer service i waited for 2 mins because he was helping someone just ahead of me 5 stars thanks!

I had my trailer mounted pressure cleaner with a hot water system fixed by Keith and Owen in the service shop here in Ocala these past couple of weeks. I replaced almost everything on it. Keith and Owen went WAY above and beyond providing the service for me. They are very professional and do not beat around the bush. Very straight forward and completed the job exactly when they said they would be done with it. I have been spreading the word around about my experience with them and 100% recommend them to anyone needing service on whatever you need service on. They can do it all! Thank you for getting my trailer back up and running guys and thank you for taking care of me the way you did! It is very appreciated!!

Ordered a product in store 3 weeks ago. I was told not only by the cashier but by several others that it would be in the store anywhere from 7 to 14 days at max. Well I let 10 days go by and didnt hear anything back from them. So I called them. Was told it was going to be in, in the middle of last week. Nope. So I called again friday to see what was up with my order. I was told it was still in South Carolina at the warehouse. So I finally went in today and bought another pump that was in stock. When they brought my order up it didnt show that it was in SC. Showed it left texas was the last listing. So I was lied to. Manager didnt seem like he was too interested in helping me with my situation. Ill be finding somewhere else to shop. This location sucks.

Great customer service and very nice people

3 stars because I enjoy the store itself and the cashiers were nice. I would give 5 stars if it werent for the saleswoman that we talked to. She asked if we needed any help and I asked her if she was knowledgeable about trailer hitches. She completely rolled her eyes, like it offended her and then she said yes. I do not expect every sales person to be completely knowledgable about everything in the store. Not everyone can be, especially when youre new. So I thought it was polite to ask in case it wasnt her specialty. But her reaction completely caught me off guard. I didnt expect someone put on the sales floor to react in such a way. Then I asked her a simple question regarding the hitches. We are pulling a 3 horse trailer with 3 horses and I knew family members who thought you could pull 7500lb with a 6000lb rated shank and ball hitch. So I asked if it were possible (silly question obviously) and she didnt understand the question. Then she thought I was pulling it with a sedan or something because I said the word car instead of truck. She didnt seem to understand at all what I was saying, and when I mentioned how I preferred the weight distribution hitch over the weight carrying hitch, she told me that the weight distribution hitch had nothing to do with weight and wouldnt increase my trucks towing capacity. At this point I was thinking, huh? When did I ever ask that? Then she went to ask another worker and came back a few minutes later. She said that he confirmed that the weight distribution hitch wont increase my trucks towing capacity. Again. She literally thought I was trying to use a hitch to increase my towing capacity. I had to ask my husband if I was wording it wrong because she was just not getting it and it was obvious that she thought I was completely stupid. Then when I picked out what I had came for, the cashier asked if I was sure if I got the right one. I feel as though she told them and they thought I just had no clue. Overall, it was a pretty frustrating experience and I wouldnt go to this location again.

As a saleswoman, this store is incompetent and frankly quite racist. Today I experienced the worst customer service of my entire life, mind you my partner was purchasing a $2000 generator. The cashier Kathy D had the worst attitude and profiled me as a thief, which then Jack Jackson the Assistant Manager followed me to the bathroom saying on the radio Im following her to the bathroom.After I confronted them about their terrible service and how uncomfortable it made me feel being profiled there was not even an acknowledgment or apology on their part. In the parking lot Jack said to my partner (older white male) that if he had been walking around the store casually they would not have profiled him, but they did profile me because Im a young lady. Jack didnt even apologize and does not recognize that this behavior is outrageous and delinquent. In my training when a customer is thought to be stealing, you give them more positive attention and tend to them more. This is basic training.Katy B was great, I could tell she felt terrible about the situation and felt guilty for making me uncomfortable. I wish they had at least acknowledged their lack of respect for their customers before me bringing it up to them (this is called lack of integrity).As I told Kathy D (cashier), if she had a foundation of respect she would have realized that her actions and attitude towards me was completely uncalled for. I will never be coming back to this establishment and neither will my partner. You have lost a loyal customer due to this unlawful behavior.

Well they got me, what I ordered was not in yet but it was easy to spend money on other man toys so I did I am in so much trouble.

Shout out for John and Maurena for helping me solve a problem with my order. I was able to walk out of the store a happy man. Not always the case these days and age. Good deals on equipment and nice people to work with

Northern Tools did a great job getting our pressure washer repaired for us with a quick turn around. Keith was good at communicating repair time and pricing, and it was ready to picked up exactly when they said. Works even better than before as Keith installed a great valve to prevent the problem from happening again!

These people riped me off. I took a lawn mower in running condition and they returned it to me all messed up. Motor was not running, the work they were supposed to do was incomplete. Basically they returned it to me then times worse than it was. Dont ever take your stuff tho be fixed there. Took it to another small shop and they did a great job. The job northern tool could not do.

Very friendly staff. Everyone is super helpful, maybe not always 100 precent know the product but they try their best. The selection of tools and equipment is vast but Northern doesnt seem to specialize in any one thing.

Absolutely the best place for tools, tools & etc! Every time we come we get phenomenal customer service! Today was no different. We were walking out as we didnt find what we were looking for, they asked, inquired with other coworkers/boss, & tried their best to assist us! They didnt carry it but recommended a few other places to try as it was a speciality item. They were all super nice & always the first place we will go for our tools/supply needs.

Beware this company had a motor shipped to my neighbors business the company that delivered the the motor dropped it off at someone elses house not a business but the wrong address and they called the police on the matter and now nothern tools hangs up on her and dont want nothing to do with it what the heck is wrong with people take some responsibility and make it right so if you order something from here beware because someone might get what you buy and you will be stuck paying for something they send to the wrong address cause they wont make it right I will be looking into what legal action can be done

Quick and easy checkout

Expensive and poor communication. Took my pressure washer here to have the pump replaced because they were a Troy Built warranty center. Took a month to even find out if the item was eligible for warranty. Took another month to complete the work. Never received a call saying it was done. If i spent another $10 I could have bought a new pressure washer.

It turn a man into an animal. Lots of great tools. When here for refresher course.
