Ive been doing business here since they opened. Today I took a propane tank to be refilled. The tank was too old. So instead of telling me they cant fill a tank older than however many years ( never did tell me how many) the guy decides to yell at me and talk to me like Im stupid. When I went back inside to get my money back and told the cashier about it, the answer was whatever. Needless to say that these folks have totally lost direction. Friendliness has been their hallmark for many years. Now they are downright rude.

I had them make 2 keys that I have tried to get make from another company. The keys I got from true value work exactly right.

Most of the staff was nice but all the equipment we rented was unusable. Tried to rent a hand held sander and the screws were falling out. They tired to fix it but could not. Then we tried to rent a belt sander, upon getting it home we found it was also unusable. The nob was completely rusted. We were made to pay for the wasted pieces of sand paper that didn’t work in their broken machines because sand paper is a “usable item” . I found this confusing at first but then it made perfect sense to me. None of their other products are usable at all. The “owner” was incredibly irritating.

I go in here instead of going to Walmart or ordering on Amazon. The people in the store are very knowledgeable about what they sell. Its worth paying extra money to go in this hardware store. Amen!

I like this store. I drive over 30 miles to shop here. They sell lots of odds and ends that the big box stores dont carry. They sell decorative items for around the house. They sell kitchen supplies. The staff is friendly. They always offer to help me find what I need. They give out free popcorn. The bathrooms are well kept and pleasant to use.

If you like old school hardware stores this is your place. Always someone there to assist you. They may not have as many items as the bug box boys, but they have employees there to help there customers.

Had just what I needed. Friendly staff, helpful and popcorn! I am glad that I went there. I think theres a lot of hard to find items there. I found replacement handles for my 5 quart dutch oven there. I am pleased to say the least.
