Earth Fare is my absolute favorite grocery store. They have great staples and some unique and healthy options like a Sprouts or Trader Joes, with special deals & a kickin hot/cold & juice bar.Super friendly employees here.Whats not to love about it.

We are new to the area and a friend of ours told us to try out Earth Fare. Well let me tell you it is the best store that we found for groceries. Theyre ground chuck hamburger is excellent its been very difficult to find great tasting meat. Best of all...we were Kuhns beef hotdog lovers which are non-existent any longer and we found the perfect replacement for them and the best part is they even taste better than Kuhns. if you ever get a chance stop in and check out Earth Fare!

I have always loved the original chicken salad, it’s the best! However, I bought some this weekend after the re-grand opening, brought it home and realized there are now mustard seeds in it. Unfortunately I can’t eat seeds so I was so disappointed. I hope you can change the recipe back the way it was!

Great place. Im in here 4 days a week. It was crazy in the beginning but everything is cool now. Can you make sure the dressings though are refilled at the salad bar daily? Balsamic dressing has been empty twice in the last week.

Self serve salad was excellent, didn’t have toasted pumpkin seeds but who does? Enjoyable browse and shop, not as busy as Google suggested at this time of day, definitely come back when I’m in town.

This store is Awesome! For the health enthusiasts and also those looking to make a change, this is the only stop youll need. The store is clean, the layout is great and the staff all said Hello as we walked around the store. Samples in the back, items by the pound, wine selection is good and options are plenty. Its worth the visit!

I went to this store today 8/53021@3:30.I like the products and the pizza, but I got very disappointed with the mayority of staff didnt have a mask. When I went to check out there was 4 cashiers. I refused to check my groceries with those that didnt have the mask on.I check with the only cashier that had a mask. Her name is Arriam, a very young and beautiful girl. I thanks her for wearing the mask and she told me that she didnt want to get sick, specially twith he pandemic. God bless her.The guy that did the pizza was a nice guy but didnt have the mask on neither.,but at lease he wore gloves. Im giving 2 stars because they didnt were mask. If they dont care about whats going on with these pandemic its say a lot about them ..UPDATED @ 5:30AFTER I EAT THE CAKE FROM THE BAKERY I GOT UPSET STOMACH. THE CAKE ITS OLD.. I was told to leave the store from the manager after I explained to him I had medical exemption from wearing mask (medical device). I was not allowed to purchase my groceries. I contacted corporate and never heard back from them in regards to this matter. The manager was rude and unprofessional. I have always supported Earth Fare since they opened the first time. Now that they have reopened I really went above and beyond to support. Im very disappointed in the way I was treated. Also that corporate doesnt follow up with customers.

Omgosh I love love love this store I used to shop at Earth origins because its closer to my house never again! Everything in Earth fare is organic or non-GMO you have to really study the ingredients if you go to Earth origins not at Earth fare it is amazing I could have spent hours in there I did spend a little too much money but I couldnt help it

Literally the greatest store ever made. Best chicken wings and roasted chickens hands down . Also the blackened chicken salad is YUMMM! I can talk all day about how great the food is. Earth Fare is forever etched in my heart. You can get good quality fresh food for a great price.

I had the chance to visit this store and pick up a few needed items. Wow! As soon as you walk in youre greeted with a smile and a kind Representative of the store. Everyone was helpful and courteous. Also has juice bar.The energy in the store is positive...An enjoyable experience!

Over one month ago, I wrote an email to corporate complaining about an employee and store manager at this location. I did a follow up email after that and never heard anything back. I’m disgusted and sadden to see a company that doesn’t care whether they lose customers or not.

I love this store, hands down my favorite place to food shop. I shop on Monday for my five dollar anti biotic free rotisserie chicken, and to pick up some Scottish Salmon. If you like olives, do yourself a favor and try the Mediterranean salad. I would give more stars if I could.

My Mom and I literally cried when we discovered that the Ocala location opened back up. We live about 45 miles away from this store and always stopped when we were in town. Today we made a special trip out just to go to Earth Fare! We had so much fun and picked up so many groceries. Everything is EXACTLY the same and we were so very overjoyed to see it. Thank you guys so much, we are forever your fans. 💜

If Earth Fare ever experiences another financial bind they should just convert the establishment into a pizza parlor... Seriously theyre my go to for an awesome guilt free pizza with clean fresh ingredients.

I’m pretty much a regular for they’re breakfast, and for some reason when they first opened everyone was on their “P&Q’s”. They had delicious breakfast wraps that I would buy for my whole office. But after the second day they didn’t have them and it was always the same answer “we haven’t made them yet”. The gentleman in the back that seems to be the one in charge of the hot bar always has an attitude about cooking the food when I ask! Even the other co-workers appear to be frustrated with him. I just want my wraps. It seems like the hot bar was putting in a show for the bosses. So I went there today at 8:30 and they didn’t have ANY options for breakfast. I just don’t understand why you would offer something to your customers but then never have it or at least have some options. I’ll be back with an update.- A very sad breakfast lover.

The staff was friendly enough, except I had to say excuse me 3 times to the lady by the herbs before shed get off her phone to help me.Beware of their deceptive pricing. They either placed the wrong tag in front of a product or the wrong item in front of the tag and would not honor the price. Theyre clearly at fault and would not budge.Earth Origins has better pricing anyway. Thats where Ill be keeping my business. Theyve always been good to me.

I am so happy that Earth Faire has opened back up and they are back and better than ever! Jade was so wonderful in helping me pick out soap for sensitive skin. She was kind and curtious when checking us out. We cannot wait to come back and try some more goodies!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this store !!!Best cheese selection in Florida...lots of California stuff...yeah. My only recommendation is to bake the daily baguettes a bit longer to give it that Northern California crust...❤❤❤

This Earth Fare has nice cashiers up front but the rest of the staff don’t seem to engage customers much. The selection is great but sometimes overpriced. The sales are usually pretty good however. I like the meat section because they have a lot of seasoned fish and chicken at good prices that are ready to cook. The produce may be the weakest area because sometimes it’s not fresh. The dining area could be cleaner too. Look for the “discontinued” items to save money. There is a large nut selection but the prices could be lower.Overall I like Earth Fare but they need to improve in some areas. I would like to see more frozen foods (organic) that aren’t vegan. Their ads are pretty good so be on the lookout there to save even more money. Prices are better at places like Lucky’s Market but as far as whole food grocers, this is one of the only options in Ocala.

Great looking store...Stopped in to pickup some produce and coffee. All the produce looked great but at a closer look the broccoli crown was infested with tiny BUGS. I discovered this last night as I was making curry and lost my appetite. 😑

Best most healthiest food ever on Earth... Gluten free go to Earth Fare... Diabetic like me perfect place to go Earth Fare! Love to have fruits juiced, need some tea for stress relief, want a smoothie, your place is Earth Fare. Want a free juice after 10 buys go to Earth Fare. Sandwiches, Warps, big slices of pizza. Gluten free? YES! SUGAR free? YES! Go to Earth Fare get the best food for a true dinner, lunch, breakfast, desert, and even yes snacks! Absolutely love Earth Fare.

Anyone care about the grocery or frozen section at all? Product seems to be missing for weeks and there’s never anyone there to ask about it. Just the other day I had to get some guy from the deli to help me out, very willing to help but didn’t seem to know much about the stringy seaweed packs. I hope things start getting better for the store.

Nice interesting store, however they had a great sale on meat the other day and we went to buy it and just happen to check out the expiration date and it was expired!They pulled it off the shelf when we told them, but they sold many packets of this product prior to us showing them that this was expired. They should have known this. I dont feel comfortable buying from them now. Something smells fishy.

Amazing selection or natural and organic foods and ingredients, produce, and goods. They have an awesome beer and wine selection. Their deli has great sides to try like their coleslaw and soups. They have a juice bar but I havent tried anything their yet. Be sure to download their app for coupons and sales - especially for their meat selections.

The store is very clean, well lit and organized. The produce is fresh and some is local(a + for me). The dairy selection is large as well, including a huge cheese area. The meats/fish look very fresh (I dont eat this). The fresh made salads are interesting, flavorful & healthy, I have enjoyed all that I have tried. I dont care for their pizza but others really love it & its made while you wait. Yes, the prices are high but, the sales are very good & make up for it. PS the fresh desserts are really good BUT only if you eat your meal 1st 😁

I recommend staying to the pizza or middle island for there cafe food we got chicken curry and some tortellini the chicken curry was awful .. For a pound and a half of food it came up to 18$ for a few more dollars we could have gone to a restaurant Im glad to see earth fare is back but something got to change

My wife and I visited for the first time last night and we were pleasantly surprised. Great selection of products and we were both surprised at the competitive pricing compared to other grocery stores nearby. The staff were all friendly and helpful and our cashier Cheryl was especially nice. Highly recommended!

Not has this store gone downhill since grand opening. There seafood dept use to be awesome. Now you can smell it as you walk in the door. The fresh made pizza is good though

This is my new favorite grocery store. It is very pricey so what I buy from here is limited. But there are way healthier choices here and I am able to find foods thatll accommodate a vegan diet. Theres warm food prepared daily, a bakery, a variety of wines and beverages. This place has the best hummus I have ever had. Truly my favorite place!

Ive been looking for something different to shop at even though Belleview is now getting a bigger Publix, i am still bore with the same place, the same thing.I would be delighted to come to your new store. Outstanding staff! I met the sweetest girl who went out of her way to help me get the last Tablespoon of nutritional yeast out of the bulk bin for a recipe I was wanting to cook. I am not a local person, but Ocala scored big when Earth Fare opened their doors. Very fair prices for the merchandise they represent. Visiting family here and shopped here almost daily!outstanding!

We went to earth fare this past Sunday and just 3 days later the food we got all got moldy. We almost bought moldy oranges until the nice lady at the register pointed them out.we spent about $200 on groceries and had to throw almost all of it out because it went bad in 3 days. This is now the 3rd time this happened.Earth fare used to always have great produce, fresh food, etc but now I won’t buy from there again.

I like the store for their pre-packaged salads, but the seafood department can be smelled before you hit it. Makes me nervous when I could smell it one aisle over. The employee should be more friendly, make you feel like youre bothering them asking them to do their job. The prices are not as bad as expected. Need more registers open. The lines get ridiculous sometimes.

Looks like a great place to do more shopping. Prices that I looked at, looked good. They have a cereal I used to buy and loved but hadnt been able to find it for quite awhile. Large, clean, and great employees that I encountered.

Shopped here at least once a week since they opened. I look forward to their sales each week. The produce is fresh and delicious. I also buy fish here every week and enjoy it. If you follow the sales you will save money and get top quality.

They advertise products but do carry, said they would order, but 2 weeks later no products, yes product was Organic, had to order directly from website, got inv2 days.

I was in there a few days ago and was waiting for someone to check me out but there was only one cashier, Jenna ? Jennifer? Not quite sure. She was just talking away to another worker. not a care in the world. Even after a couple times of trying to get her attention, she continued to talk. Very unprofessional and disappointing. I will definitely be frequenting The Villages Earth Fare after this and not returning to the Ocala store.

Went in this morning - pandemonium with the grand opening. Blaring Electric Avenue well into the parking lot at 7:30 in the morning was a little obnoxious. Aside from that though... nice store - good selection and presentation. The bakery looked particularly inviting. So glad they are here - a store like this is much needed in this community and long overdue. Im so excited!

I visit this location in Ocala fl Store 0562 to buy sesame seed. I got up to the register 004 where cashier 0152 Phyllis took me. She was extremely rude and bother for some reason. She took the bag of Sesame seed and with a rude remark Phyllis said where is the number. I had told cashier Phyllis what number, Phyllis replies back, I need a number how Im supposed to know what this is with a rude remark back. I explained to her I didnt know I needed a number and I told her its sesame seed do you want me to go get the number. she replies back forget about it no. Phyllis said next time you need to get a number. I said okay then Phyllis said how are you paying cash debit or credit, so I told her debit. I stuck the debit card into the machine then with a nasty attitude she said you need to swipe your card if you look at the machine theres a piece of white paper that says so with such sarcasm. I noticed something strange a white male customer in front of me that was buying groceries. Phyllis was extremely nice to him. I mean how a cashier is supposed to be professional. But when it was my turn next I felt like she was really shady, rude and bother. what because I look Spanish. Im not saying Phyllis is racist but it was a really uncomfortable experience and I felt like it was biased and Shady. I love this store but if you have Shady, rude and bother employees it just makes customer not want to come back its really uncomfortable.....

Great store, staff are very friendly but not always helpful. Cheaper than Whole Foods and other organic stores. Lunch options are quite expansive (but not expensive) and there is an eating area. Earth Fare is my favorite store in town.

I’ve had more bad experiences than good. Between getting sick right after eating food from the salad bar (twice), slow service at the sandwich and smoothie counter, being out of certain products that go on the ordered sandwiches, and not to mention, only having 2 registers open during prime lunch time with people 12 deep into the aisles. All while management and front end service personel stand with charts assessing the area. I do enjoy the food for lunch (though staying away from salad bar!) since I work in this plaza, but the employees are lacking ambition and direction.

Better than Whole Foods and Fresh Market and Trader Joes! So many organic and vegan choices in produce and deli and bakery and frozen foods and non dairy ice cream. All yummy choices. So delicious. GO AND ENJOY.

We shopped at the Ocala location for the first time on 6/15 and was pleased with the overall appearance of the produce, grocery and bulk food; however, we wanted some scallops and both people we saw were in the back working on getting meat and seafood to the cases, I guess. It was 9 am and the store had been open 2 hours. We did not get service for 5 minutes or more. We walked away and another woman walked up the counter and got waited on by the meat guy so we walked back and the seafood lady came out with her wheeled trays of fish to stock the case. She was apparently annoyed that we wanted service. We bought the scallops and they stunk up the fridge and now we have to go back to get a refund! Why didnt the seafood expert know they were questionable? I had some breakfast items which were ok but the potato soup was cold?!? So we brought that home and had it for supper. It was good though. My jury is out but all others in the store were friendly and helpful. Disappointed with the seafood service and department though.Update: we ended up cooking the scallops... Once removed from the wrap they smelled better and were delicious. Maybe the wrap had something smelly on it. My rating remains the same due to the lack of friendly service.

Good selection of cheeses, and fish. They also have a clearance aisle nearby the bathrooms. It is also a nice to do sit and eat inside when the weather is bad.Some prices maybe high, so it is good to search for deals or mark downs which they have scattered around the store.

Earth fare is a pretty complete natural foods store. They make a good attempt to bring a full line of natural foods to the health conscious consumer. Prices are a bit overblown but the quality is there. Obviously big corporate at work here. My second choice in Ocala for natural foods.

I like this place. High quality organic food, great service and a very clean and well organized store. It is a little pricey but if your into this type of food this is a good place to go.

This place has good deals - love when the filet mignon was on sale. Also has great selection of craft beers and gourmet cheese. Bulk items in grocery are great. Some of the prepared food has NO flavor ... so I avoid them. You just have to try it for yourself.

What’s going on here? Observed one guy serving customers lining up for pizzas and smoothies while the rest of the crew seemed to be hanging out. Shout out to Farris for the stellar pizza and service!!! Not much to say about the rest of store....

I shop here as often as I can, when Im up in that area. I bring insulated bags and fill them up. Im very happy that they have a promise that all of the Earth Fare brands are all Non-Gmo, so all I have to look for on the labels is whether its Organic or not! I think all food/beverages should be organic and non-gmo and we shouldnt even have to read the labels in this day and age. Anyway, I like many of their offers, like the rotisserie chicken (antibiotic/hormone free) for less with their card! Its great that they offer a smoothie bar, too!

Best health food market around! So many great organic options, theyre sushi runs similar pricing to publix but is much better quality. Staff goes above and beyond with any questions or help. On top of that great household and bathroom needs that are organic. I actually look forward to doing my grocery shopping now!

Absolutely terrible & highly overpriced. We bought a loaf of Cranberry Walnut bread which had no taste at all! Once before we bought something which was the same, no flavor or taste! All your organic customers must just eat this stuff to make them feel better. We will never spend another penny in that store.

I am happy there is a place in Ocala like Earth Fare with a hot bar where I am able to get vegetarian food for lunch quickly. Its not gourmet by any means, and no shade on the chefs because I figure they have to cook within limits. It is, however, decent food which will occasionally surprise you by being creative. The great points are that healthy items like hot quinoa and broiled brussels spouts are usually available. Bad points include occasional long lines at registers and a tiny lack of imagination at the hot bar. Overall though, its a great little place for a quick, healthy lunch.

I frequent Earth Fare late evenings so I had yet to go around 6:30pm. To my dismay I had extremely BAD customer service at this store. I was wanting to get macaroons from the bakery and inquire if the store had any more French Baguettes. There was no one by the bakery for a good 5 minutes, so we stood by the Deli. And a middle age woman with short hair was attending the Deli area, and being very conversational with a lady in front of us who was getting a deli meal. After their exchange was over, she turned to us and asked us what we wanted to get. I asked, First question I am wondering about is if you guys had anymore French Baguettes. To my surprise she seemed annoyed by that question and responded with a scoff and unfriendly tone, Uh, I wouldnt know, you have to ask the baker. Guess Ill ask the baker. She said this implying #1 that I had been there before #2 that we asked the wrong person who could be of no help. The tone had immediately turned harsh in comparison to the lady she had attended before us and if I am spending upscale prices like I did tonight at Earth Fare, I would expect better customer service. I did approach customer service area where a young lady asked me to leave her a verbal compliant and let the manager know of the situation. Its unfortunate that I have to even write this review because customer service at this location had not been a problem before. But when a customer feels bad about asking the wrong department a question and gets scoffed at, THERE IS AN ISSUE. Also, as someone who has worked in retail before I suggest Earth Fare have a more formal compliant process.

Today, I called to find out of a particular on-sale fish item was available and was told yes. I immediate drove the 1/2 hour to the store to pick up the product. I waited in front of the fish counter for 5+ minutes, while someone was working in the department but ignored me (yes they saw me, but acted like they didnt). I walked over to the bakery counter to ask them to get the person in the fish department to help me. The man who had been ignoring me walked out and said What do you want?. I told him and he went into the department to tell someone else what I wanted. That person went somewhere and brought me the fish I had requested already put in a bag, labeled the bag, and handed it to me. Nobody said good morning, asked me if I wanted to see what they packaged, or asked me if I wanted anything else. I went up to customer service and asked them to remove the fish so I could look at it. They went to unpack the fish and would have opened the bag without gloves on if I hadnt asked them to get a pair on. They showed me the fish and it looked fine, so I purchased it. I asked to speak to a manager, but I was told nobody was around. When I looked at the customer service associate, I asked if they saw anything wrong with my experience... He looked at me like I had lost my mind... I wont shop at Earth Fare again.

Love this store!! Made me feel motivated to get healthy! Surprised how affordable most things were!

I like this store....it wasnt as neat, organized, and clean as the first visit I made when they first opened...but over all, its a nice store. Unfortunately, I live about a 40 min away...so getting weekly groceries here is a headache for me. I like that they have a large selection of organic and Earth friendly items...so whenever Im in Ocala and headed straight home afterwards...Ill stop by for a few things. I will say, it usually takes a bit longer to get through check out...but they work as quickly as possible... And the folks have always been nice to me whenever I spoke with an employee or needed help.

Im glad this store came to Ocala. Some very good deals if you look for them. You can also purchase items here that you might not find elsewhere. All organic!

I love Earth Fare, but we have eaten in the dining area three times in the past two weeks at the one in Ocala, and each time it has been filthy. Garbage is overflowing the trash cans, gnats flying all over the place, and tables are dirty and sticky. Condiments are sparse, or non-existent and and the one microwave they have to reheat pre-made entrees is never clean. We decided that although we love shopping here, we will not eat-in again. I reported this to the cashier and she looked at me like she didn’t know what to do with the information. I told her to tell management. I doubt anyone ever hears about it.

I love shopping here. Its peaceful, you dont have people running into you and the lines are pretty fast.

What happened to this organic grocery store? I just returned for after bring away for 9 mos. The produce on the shelf is old and rotting and for sale at high prices. A produce guy was sorting through bags of rotting pears to determine which ones could still be sold. When this store was first opened the produce was of good quality. What happened here?

My daughter and I ordered vegan wraps, the young lady had gloves on, she touched everything with the gloves on including the handle on the large refrigerator, the one where everyone gets cold items from, she got the wrap package from the refrigerator (the public) uses than she proceeded to make out wraps on top of the package, she never changed the gloves. When she finished making the wraps my daughter kindly asked her why did she make the sandwich on top of the package she LIED and said she put paper there, we told her we were looking right at her. She had a bad attitude because she didnt want to make the sandwich over. This is not the first time. They need to change the gloves after handling stuff. Whats the point in wearing gloves if you touching everything

Love all the food and products they have. The people are very nice. You can eat inside outside or get take out as well. The only down fall is how expensive it is there.

For the most part, I have liked the food. There are also some excellent deals to be had. However, the customer service department (to your left as you enter the store) is not good. Almost everything is a fight. They make you feel like you are bothering them with your inquiry. They act as if you are the enemy, or someone that cannot be trusted. In addition, they do the bare minimum to get you the heck away from them as soon as possible. It feels like they are opposing counsel in a hotly contested, high stakes, piece of bitter litigation. It is quite a contrast from the fuzzy feel good tour I went on before the store opened. Publix, you can breathe a sigh of relief.

How disappointing, usually the staff is friendly and helpful, well today, they blew it big. Only one check out person, the juice gal could not be bothered to take care of someone with only a couple of things, nor could the Customer Service. Both were with employees, instead of the 22 people in the finally opened 2 lines. When I went to ask if they were going to open another, I got a, this is all we got for staff.
