This tire shop really saved the day minutes before closing they changed my tire so I can make it home. Great customer service great service all the way around

At first they were awesome, purchased 4 used tires from them. Woke up the next morning and tire was flat. Called them back and the big girl in the office had the audacity to yell at me and then she flat out lied. The tires we purchased had plugs in them. Not one plug but 2 plugs in both tires they put on the front. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere more professional. They are what you call trash along with there tires.

This people mean business and they come to you to ask you what you need and another person runs the bill and gives you and estimate and while is been done you pay and in a few minutes they are done. Make sure you tipped them their work performance is phenomenal. Just for you guys that smoke while working please make sure when you approach the customer you dont bring the cigarette with you some of us are very sensitive to second hand smoke thank you for your service. You have a forever customer and I will recommend you to anybody that needs your services.

We bought 2 tires about 6wks ago.The next morning one tire was flatWe have goneback 4 times.Finally went elsewhere because both.tires had to be discarded

First off it’s hot outside and they didn’t have a office for any customers to sit in from what I seen they were all sitting outside in the heat on the curb waiting! I asked for help which the receptionist helped out and was very helpful til she told me $60 for a used tire and I said okay no I can go somewhere else cheaper I just need temporary til I go pick up all brand new ones and she proceeded to walk off and said it’s not my fault i can’t afford it. She was mad I called her out and she started yelling threatening to call the police. I do not recommend going here I went just up the road to Florida’s tires they are WAYYY cheaper and more professional

We have a very unique tire sizes that are never in stock locally. On the way to visit a family member at the hospital on a late Saturday afternoon we got a flat on front. The manager at Mr Tire was phenomenal. They couldnt repair ours but did manage to get us in something close enough to have us on our way again very quickly. Thanks Mr Tire

Worst place Ive ever been for tires. For being right in Ocala, you would think it would be more professional. Unfortunately, the whole experience was very unprofessional. Even the USED tires are expensive and they were SO BADLY WORN, professional establishments turned me away and would not mount them for me. I will never go back and I have been warning everyone I know in Ocala that this is 100% NOT the place to go

We had a tire going flat and knew if they were open they could fix it, because theyve done it before. I was in and out in 20 minutes, and on a Sunday, too! Highly recommend.

Brought in tire to patch flat. Very unprofessional employee greeted me with hands in pocket and by raising his chin and not saying a word. When I told him what I needed done ...he said that my tires were dry rotted. (My tires are 12 months old and not dry rotted). Next he said he did not know if he could fix the tire because it gash on it. When I asked him where he saw the gash he said that it was just there and could not find it. I left... In short dont take your car here!

We’ve been to Mr Tire a few times and every time we’re there, a gentleman named Jared/Jerry(?—I cant hear well lol) is always super helpful and gets the job done fast. We went in last night but they didn’t have my tires at the time; he told me he could get them in first thing today and that we’d be out of there on time for our plans at 11. He also informed and reassured us about their leasing program, which we ended up signing up for. We got there at 9 or so and left with 4 new tires before 10:30, spent about $70 up front. Always very pleased with them, we will continue to go back.

We found a huge screw in one of our tires that needed removed and plugged. It was a Sunday early afternoon and they were open and able to help. We were there and gone in probably 20 minutes. They even let us stay in the car since we have a 4 year old and it was HOT. They were so nice and professional, and provided quality service at a fantastic price!

I never talk bad about an experiance because it is someones lively hood but i was dumbfounded at the way they treated us how they talked to us and then outright ignored us .we had the wrong rim and instead of coming to us and talking they went into the office and took a break when I finally went up to the window to ask them what was going on they shoot me away like I was bothering them all along they got paid their money for doing the job that they never finished we ended up leaving because I could see that they werent going to do another thing they had already washed their hands of the situation so save your money and time and go somewhere else..

A hundred bucks for used tire!, I brought my flat tire on rim with me in my trunk, all they had to do was put the tire on and balance and hand it back to me, no breaks for not having to put it on my vehicle, and oh yeah my car is an old 4cyl Suzuki and for 100 bucks I could have gotten a brand new tire with install. Over the years I have went to this place and they used to have super fair prices literally half of what I paid for a used tire and even that was to much but each time I go the prices are higher and this last time was just to much. Hence my review.

They didnt replace the tire valve on the rim. I provided a new tire, which totaled $35.00 after replacing the valve. They didnt balance the tire after that!

We were down for a family trip to snorkel with manatees in Crystal River. Just my luck on Sunday we were getting ready to leave and I notice a glint of silver on my tire. It was a long furniture screw imbedded about 2 inches off of the sidewall. I wasnt losing air, but I did not want to drive all the way back to Atlanta with it in there. Went to the local place in Crystal River, they said it could be plugged and patched, but they couldnt do it until Tuesday. No dice. Called all around the area and stopped at two places in Inverness with no luck. Called Mr. Tire and they had my odd size (235 50R19) in stock just in case, but would look at it. Pulled in and they had the tire off in less than five minutes. I told them I would buy a tire or they could plug. Didnt care just needed to make it home. They looked at it and came out and said they could plug and patch it. 10 minutes and $16 later, Im pulling out. They knew I was in a bind and could have sold me a tire and made more money, but they did the honest thing and got me back on the road. What a blessing. Cant recommend this place enough.

This little shop was a lifesaver. We were having issues on the highway late on Sunday afternoon and they were the only shop still open to service us so we could back on the road safely. Turned out to be perfect! The attendants were patient and thorough and the prices were relatively fair. So glad Google Maps brought us together!

I brought my tire already off just to have the tire replaced, I was told it would be real quick but was not but the kicker is I was told 50 plus tax for the used tire. After the tire was presented to me they said oh, this one is a little more new so it will be 60 plus tax. I ended up paying 67 and change and I even put the tire on my car myself.

Always busy as ever. Best to go early because it is basically first come first serve but service is good and its family owned and all are nice folks

Traveling home on Sunday at 6 PM from Virginia to Bradenton, FL. Stopped to fill it up for the last time only to find one tire had a leaking valve stem. The only tire place open until 7. Pulled in, they were great and got us back on the road and on our way safely home. Thanks for your time, professional help that got us home safe.

Mr. Tire of Ocala are rip-off scam artists! Charged me $51.15 for a USED tire! Could have bought a brand new tire at Walmart for $42.73, but trusted i could get a used one cheaper; i could have had o gone anywhere but there!

The staff is very friendly I actually called before going said they had a tire size and stocked a used and new ones told him I was on her way would get used. I arrived there may be at Max 8 minutes later and the guy tells me he doesnt have any more he just sold it that he had course the new one was the high price. Well I kind of feel like they did the old bait and switch on me I really cant tell that for sure they may have sold the old one but they were very friendly and kind and try to assist me in any way I would recommend them again

These guys/girls saved my sanity today. Second flat tire in two days left us on the road with a broke down trailer and no spare. I took the shredded tire to them and very shortly I was back to the trailer. With the help of a SF Road Ranger that changed the tire we were back on the road in under 4 hours. Yesterdays event took 5.5 hours.

Do not come to this tire place. Called an hour before they closed and explained that I would be coming in but I was 30-45 minutes away. I get there, driving on two bald tires as they closed the garage doors at 6:40. They proceed to tell me how they dont hold tires and that theyre closed. Had they told me that when I talked to them on the phone I wouldnt have driven out here and had to leave my truck there over night. Take your business elsewhere.

This place definitely don’t deserve a star!! Their workers don’t ever act like they want to work, walking around in slow motion and taking other people before the ones that were there first! Don’t know how to talk to anyone. We needed a tire bad so we came here because they are the only ones open well they sold us a bad tire. They wouldn’t even work with us on another tire. They tried to get us for another 60 dollars. You got us once won’t happen again. I will NEVER refer anyone here EVER!!

The customer service here is amazing! My husband and I had just bought a used F250 and were on our way to Panama City when both front tires blew. This was around 6 p.m. on a Saturday and we desperately needed to get back to make it into work the next day. Neither of us are familiar with this area at all and are only in Florida for work to clean up after hurricane Michael. There was no way we could have our truck towed there before closing time. When we called Mr. Tire and explained our situation they stayed after closing to help us get back on the road. In addition to our unfortunate luck it would so happen that we needed odd sized and very expensive tires that had to be ordered and couldnt arrive any sooner than Monday. This team went above and beyond any and all expectations to get us rolling again. They found us a very nice set of used rims and tires for a very fair price. They were fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. This entire team worked together to get us going and stayed over two hours past closing time to take care of us. We cannot thank them enough for all they did for us. We highly recommend Mr. Tire, truly genuine, good people who chose to care about a couple of strangers from out of town when no one else would have.

I just had a great experience at Mr. Tire after running around all of Ocala today looking for a tire for my trailer. They not only had the tires that I needed in stock, but they were also priced affordably. Baby Tire and her brother were super friendly and easy to work with! Asked to have two tires mounted that I bought used personally. They wanted me to buy two tires from them to mount and balance I said no then was offered a credit program for x4 tires said no mount and balance was 60$ ! Looked at my statement 67$ Crazy go to another used tire store.

They replaced my tire, but gave me a damaged one, I got a flat 3 minutes after left the place. Although I called them, then they sent somebody over to change to my spare to drive back and replaced the tire again. So, I give them the benefit of the doubt.

Fast and friendly service and great prices

I went to this shop 9-14-19. On 9-13, my fiancee had called around to all tire shops in Ocala to get prices on a tire and balancing. He was told over the phone that balancing would be $10 a tire. Once I arrived on saturday, I did not mention anything about having called the day before. I went in, where two very unprofessional women were sitting talking behind the counter, & asked abiut balancing. I was told it was going to be $15 a tire. So, they do not have any set prices. they will get more money out of the people they believe they can fool. However, I was greeted by a gentlemen as soon as I got out of my car. All of the men that were working in the garage were very kind to me and quickly changed my tire that had a screw in it. I got a decent used tire to get me through the next few weeks. Aside from the gentlemen that greeted me & the gentlemen that actually finished with my tire, I did not feel as though it was professional. I will continue going to Discount Tire or Tire Kingdom for balancing & alignment so that i am not being conned out of my money.

First off let me say I only give 1 star because that is the lowest they will let me go. They are very unorganized multiple vehicles will get started but will not be finished in a timely manner. Also was told that they had 4 tires in the same size but ended up 2 different sizes were used. Then had to go back because one of the tires they put on were bad so ended up with 3 different sizes of tires on my car and one is still to wide and rubs when I turn will not return or reccomend.

My mother and I had a flat tire across the street from this business, she did not have a spare-- we were making phone calls, when the owner of Mr. Tire pulled up and asked if we needed help. He left and sent a technician back to us, and he changed out the tire..They were awesome and did NOT charge us extra as we honestly had expected..I cannot give them a high enough rating, had it not been for them, who knows how long we would have been sitting on the side of the road...

The absolute worst place I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with. I should have taken the hints from the moment I walked in there. While I was in their waiting room, a customer walked in infuriated saying that they had sold him a tire from 1997. All the lady did was point to the sign that said that they werent responsible for used tires or any condition that they are in and proceeded to dismissing the customer and assuring me that he was crazy and that all of their tires are carefully inspected and that they dont ever get complaints like those. This was two months ago and the tire I purchased at this place completely blew out on me on the highway. When they mounted the tire 2 months ago at the shop it had LITERAL HOLES AND TEARS in it and you could see the wires sticking out of the tire. When I asked the guy what was up he said that that was just the wear on the tire and got me another one in a practically identical condition. The guy who mounted the tire for me took one of my lug nuts off and put a completely different sized one on it. Fast forward two months later when I got stranded on the interstate in the middle of the night and tried to put my spare on, I couldnt do it because of that one lug nut that the guy at the tire shop put on it. When I called to ask about the lug nut the guy told me he had no idea what I was talking about, when I told him Id send him pictures of the lug nuts over the phone he agreed and never got back to me. I called again and he said he was busy and he never called me back. Truly the worst experience Ive ever had with a business. Please, if you care about your car at all, take your money somewhere else and dont make the same mistake I made in going to this place.

Was driving back home from Gainesville to Ocala, and had a piece of wire puncture my rear passenger tire. My tire had just enough to get me into town, I must have called every shop and car dealership to find someone open who could fix my tire. I found Mr Tire, and they not only were open, but super friendly, cordial, and quick when helping me fix my tire. Very cost effective also. They earned a customer for life today. I wish I could give more than five stars. 10/10 service
