Was trying to park in the Piedmont grocery parking lot. And a driver for your company was very aggressive toward us as we were trying to back into the spot. He yelled at us, rolled down his window and continued to yell while making hand gestures. Felt very uncomfortable.

No frills lumber yard and hardware store. Really geared towards people in the building trade. But curious or industrious consumers will find most of what they need here. If not, go to Ace.

I called before I went in asking if they could do some cuts for me on a couple sheets of plywood, and they said yes. I went in with my laptop and showed them exactly what I needed and they said that it was fine and Ill have the cuts in the morning. I even paid them for the wood. The next morning I get a call from them saying something about the saw blade isnt good or something and they cant make the cuts, I think they just didnt want to take the time to do the job. Had to go in to get my money back. Wish they wouldnt have agreed to do a job then not do it. Waste of my time.

Great place! The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable, and they work quickly and accurately. We used to go to Home Depot for custom cuts, but the experience here is 1000% better!

Great lumberyard with All the hardware supply you really need. If they dont have it theyll get it for you. The guys working there are friendly and they know the business so if you need something let them help you find it.

Excellent source of supply. Good wood. Also the type of place that wont sell you stuff you dont need. The wait is always 4-deep. They are that good.

The wait is sometimes long because these guys are awesome! They know their stuff, have what you need and the price isnt too bad. The lumber is straight and they will hand select it if you need.

All my experiences have been very good. I came in with my daughter once and they gave her some free stuff. Very glad to have this store in the neighborhood, much easier to get in and out of than Home Depot and the staff is very helpful.

I came in for very dry, light pieces of lumber and 5000 psi concrete for a job. I was very specific about needing 5000 psi and not anything else.The yard men loaded the truck. When I got to the unload spot I noticed the lumber was very heavy and damp - sure to warp. Did I mention I rented a truck? I returned it and went back to the site. Thats when I read the concrete bags - 4000 psi. I wasted money for the rental truck and lost an entire day of work. I am not happy at all. Everyone was very nice, but what good does that do me when the things I paid for are useless to me, and will cost me another day to replace. Oh thats right. Ive actually lost two days of work.

I have used them for years. I also have never seen a woman behind the counter. I suspect that that particular review is a phony.The reason I use this particular lumber yard and not Home Depot which is nearby, is because the men who work there are all knowledgeable. Whereas the average Home Depot worker you meet, started the day before yesterday and has to go find George who is the only one in the store who knows anything. George is always with another customer.

If you are looking for quality lumber from a real lumber yard and dont want to pick through trash at a big box store, look no further. This place is geared toward contractors and individuals who know what they are looking for. Parking is limited and staff tend to be too busy taking orders to give long answers to questions.

I cant return something here that I bought at their high st location. Maybe supporting local business is more trouble than its worth. Next time Ill just go to the awful home depot instead. Waste of money to spend and hour driving to return a $50 piece of trim that I didnt need. Last time they get a penny me ffs.
