I’ve had two bad experiences with Electronics Express. I try to do my best to shop local so I gave them another try, the benefit of doubt and boy did it bite me this last time. I needed a washing machine and saw where they sell Speed Queens. I purchased this machine 6 months ago and had them hold it for me. Knowing the appliance shortage, I wanted to make sure when my project was complete, I would have all of my appliances. I called a couple of weeks ago and two days later, they promptly delivered it. My husband noticed that the side had a huge dent in on it and the delivery people apologized and they said they would get me another one out the next day. Three days passed, no washer. I called and their answer, “we are so sorry, we do not have that one in stock anymore and you’re not going to like our answer, but we will have to order it again.” I said fine, just bring me the dented one and when the new one gets here, bring me the new one. They brought it back out, I examined it and it was NOT the model I ordered. I got the largest capacity washer that Speed Queen offered and a non-locking top, this one has a locking top. I called back and they told me no, it is the one you ordered. Whatever. I told them to come and get it. I’m the meantime, I started washing clothes in it. It started fine, mid-cycle it stopped. It does not work. It’s a defective machine. I promised the manager I would leave a review so here it is.I’m very disappointed in you Electronics Express. Oak Ridge deserves better. Come get your machine and refund my $1,500. Thanks for wasting my time and money.

Good selection of equipment. I wanted to buy in Oak Ridge to support local businesses. I knew what I wanted to spend and I got a deal that worked for me. The young salesman was nice, respectful and knowledgeable about TVs and theater system. I will be still paying for this stuff on my way to hell but I will happily watch great shows until then. Last ones in the house can pay it off! 😆😜

I mostly shop online, but this store has the same prices as on Amazon for TVs. This means you can see all the tvs side by side, up close, so you can compare the pictures. This is the best way to shop for TVs. You cant see motion jitter and pixellation from stock photos online. The store doesnt have expensive, fancy lighting and displays, which means you that cost isnt passed along to you. The salesman was nice and didnt try to overexplain tv tech to me (I hate that) but could answer my questions competently. I hope you will support this local business.

I have been insulted more than once by a salesman that call himself Dakota. I purchased appliances 4 pieces paid in full during the beginning of pandemic. The house took a while to finish so I called and asked if my appliances were safe there until the house get done. I was assured that it would. 6 month ago I tried to schedule a delivery but was told some of the appliances were sold. I went to the store and they wanted me to either pay more for another set or to get another refrigerator that matches in Manufacturers name but not in shade or gray.I was upset and disappointed. I talked to several people and they said if the item was paid in full it should never be sold to somebody else. Today the salesman told me that the store is not a storage facility. I agreed with him because if it was my appliances would still be there. If at any time they wanted me to remove the item, I should have gotten a call from them saying, we can no longer keep your items, and I would find a place for it.Today they hang up the phone on my face. At this point, I will be ok not doing business with them again.

One star because I cant give minus five. Please do not go there. Didnt go there today and will never go back. Past experience was so bad I wont give them another chance. Sold a used computer to us as used and when we wanted some compensation for our troubles and the manager was the rudest as if it was our fault they sold us a used computer as new. UNBELIEVABLY rude and worst customer care ever in any retail store. Walmart would be Nordstroms in comparison to them as far as customer service. Have not back in sense and will not go back

We went in looking for a microwave. We were asked very quickly if they could help us with anything. Richard & Dakota we’re very helpful. We bought the microwave. They had a great sale on TVs which I had been wanting to buy for a while. Every question I had was answered intelligently and a brochure for the TV I was interested in was printed for me to take home. I came back the next day and purchased it, Sony Bravia OLED 65. Awesome TV! Great customer service. Thanks!

I went here on January 30 2021 to purchase furniture . We were required to purchase the furniture but were told we had to wait 6-8 weeks for it to be delivered. I went back there in February 15 to pay for delivery as the furniture was to heavy for me to move. I decided to call them in early April to check on my furniture and the sales person said it was there. We set up for delivery on the following Friday. Later that evening my sales person called and said it was not there that someone had made a mistake. I said that I had already gotten rid of my furniture and asked what I was supposed to do now. After much confusion a told him I would like my recliner delivered and I would wait on the couch. Next day they sent a recliner that did not match the couch I bought and it also had torn material on the side. I asked them to take it back that I did not want it. I called the store and told them I was coming for my money.

Great shopping experience. Was able to research online and then go into local store to actually lay eyes and hands on PC. David was our salesperson. He was knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Pleasantly surprised that the actual deskup was displayed in-store and they had one in stock. My son walked away ecstatic that he did not have to wait on shipping. Friendly enough but I went to Buy 3 appliances stating upfront a few times I wanted a discount or bundle price. At the end when I was ready to purchase I was told Oh I cant give discounts the price is the price. So I said thanks for the help and left. And they lost a aprox 3k sale. Stating upfront that no discounts would have been fine but not knowing that is what I was expecting and at the end say it was wrong

The equipment (dishwasher) is probably OK - too early to tell. The installation was a mess though. The installers failed to remove the knock-out plug in the food waste disposer. As a result, the dishwasher didnt drain when it ran the initial test wash cycle. The installers also left the paperwork in the dishwasher when they launched the test wash cycle.

I waited outside of your store this morning in the cold from 3 am to 5 am waiting to purchase a 70 inch television for $399. I was the 3rd person in line outside as well as inside of the store in front of the 70 inch television. Everyone was in a single file line on the right side of the televisions. The three of us that were first in line had our hand on the television box. I looked up and noticed a man walking up on the opposite side of the aisle (NOT in line with the rest of us). The sales associate stood directly beside me and proceeded to hand the first two customers in line a ticket to claim their TVs. He then looked at me and proceeded to hand the 3rd ticket to the guy not in line, but waiting on the opposite side of the aisle. After he handed the ticket to the man not in line he immediately turned to his left and asked all of the others if they were waiting on the same TV. He completely ignored me and treated me as if I was invisible. I spoke up and let him know that I was also waiting in line and that I was 3rd in line. After that he briefly went to have a word with another sales associate and then returned shortly after to tell us that there were only three 70 in TVs for $399. I am highly upset that I was purposely overlooked and discriminated against by your sales associate. I will never step foot in your store again.

This store i am not a fan of and i am actually shocked at the many good reviews it has.. which makes me question the judgement of electronic consumers...Avoid this store if at all possible. The sales associates can be creeps and make inappropriate gestures to other associates regarding females, which i have witnessed on more than one occasion. They are pretty pushy and insistent on accompanying you through the whole store making conversation that is cringe worthy. Personally i like to shop and look for myself and if I need something or have a question Ill approach a salesman, thst is not the experience you will have here. Several times i have had to be more rude and blunt than should be necessary just to get some space and still i was circled like road kill by vultures. Some what knowledgeable on some products. If they dont know something you ask, they make up an answerThat aside. And the reason this store will most likely be bankrupt and out of business in a few years --- Everything is over priced. By that I mean its the age of Amazon prime and Walmart, which has greatly expanded their online presence. I do detest Amazon for their horrible customer service and how I was treated as a customer and Walmart has changed this country for the worst also but I continue to shop from them bc they have the best prices 95% of the time and most of the time by a substantial margin. Not to mention anything can be ordered and be at your door in 1 to 3 days time. Save yourself the trouble and headache. Stay in ur pjs, drink your coffee, and hop online to order your electronics from reputable companies who have top notch warranty and return policys. You can shop and research the best products at the best prices. Its a no brainer

I was so very impressed with everyone we dealt with here. It was a haul for us but we were in desperate need of an upright freezer. I was referred to Electronic Express from an employee of another store I had called during my search. Never even knew they existed.When I called Electronic Expression, Andrew was extremely patient, courteous, infromative, and professional! Answered every question i had and he gained a sale within 2 hours!The product we purchased was delivered and set up today. Unfortunately I did not catch the names of the 2 gentlemen who delivered to us but they were jist as professional! They took their time setting up my freezer and protected my home from any damages.I was so impressed with their courtesy.I would definitely recommend shopping in this store.Thank you for providing outstanding professional customer service!

All these guys do is push the merchandise out the door if there is is any problems with what you bought or any defects they do not care nor will they help or exchange it for you. This is almost hilarious! I call ahead of time to check availability and talk with Chris, he tells me yes there is on in stock, I say cool, I’m on the way. This store is in Oak Ridge and about 30 minutes from me. I ask someone named Dakota for the gimble and he tells me they don’t have one. I tell him I called ahead and Chris told me it was in stock. No apology, just yeah well he made a mistake. I said where is Chris so I could ask him if he might have set it aside for me, Dakota pointed to him behind a counter, I walk to the counter and Dakota comes up rudely asking if I had an issue, I replied yes that I wanted to ask Chris about it. He tells me I don’t need to confront his employee and tells me to leave the store! I didn’t feel like I needed to explain I just wanted to ask Chris if he had set aside the product I just drove 39 minutes to get! I’m shaking my head wondering what in the world just happened!

After searching several electronic stores in the area and online, I ended up at Electronic Express. Their price on the Sony Bravia I was searching for was $500 less than their competitors. Couple that with the outstanding customer service and you have one happy customer. The salesperson, Dakota, explained all the details of my TV as well as other options. I did a total upgrade to my kitchen and laundry room... Refrigerator, stove, microwave (replacing an ancient vent hood), dishwasher, washer and dryer. I had moments of frantic doubt, but the two delivery guys made everything look so easy! They were great. No huge mess. Now... those who promised to pick up my old units are a different story!Josh Miller was awesome in helping me get the right bundle to fit my house and my needs. He informed me of the great ratings LG gets, the reliability of the appliances, and the service offered by Electronic Express. I purchased a TV from Amazon with Electronic Express as the seller and it was defective. I first attempted to have it fixed by Samsung. They attempted remotely, but then told me they would need to send a repairman. This was later cancelled due to Covid. So I decided to get my money back. The company would not take it back and stated that my 30 day warranty was no longer good. I received the TV at the end of March and still within my time frame. Now Amazon is stepping in to help with similar issues by other customers. Byers beware of this extremely shady seller!

We talked with DJ and would not imagine working with any other salesman. He was able to find a unit fitting our needs perfectly, even though we had been told by another salesperson there was none available. He made sure we were able to get it picked up on a day I was off work, despite my hectic work schedule, and we were able to finance a reasonable weekly payment. He was great and we will return again because of his friendly, knowledgeable approach.

We purchased a dishwasher from Electronics express in Oak Ridge. They also did the installation. That is where our problem is. The installers used a wrong screw type and size. After one day, the screw gouged the top of the front door. Permanently. My wife immediately removed the screw and went to the hardware store and bough the right one. She installed it. Our next home appliance will be from Home Depot.

Went in the Oak Ridge, TN location to have new audio units put in two of my vehicles. All was going well as I was speaking with the installer. Picked out everything that was needed, scheduled two cars to come in. Had to order a couple of wiring harnesses, and a dash kit. This is when the store manager got involved. The first guy, named Steven, the installer, was great. He was trying to order the parts so I could prepay for them. He was having a little difficulty with the computer system as he is relatively new. In steps Mr store manager. He never asked his employee if he could help him, but asked what are you doing? Steven starts to tell the guy, and this store manager just says move, get out of the way. Totally belittled his employee in front of a customer. As he was placing the order, then installer told him that one part was wrong, it was ordering for the wrong car. The manager started arguing with him. The installer proved what the correct part was, but the manager still insisted the other one was the correct part. The installer gave in and said order the one that you think is correct. I prepaid the bill. When I got the receipt, one of the parts was $59.99. When he was looking it up in the back, yes the manager looked it up, it was $19.99. I questioned why the price difference. He asked what did I mean, and I explained it just like I did in the previous sentence in this post. He said there is no difference, he remembered seeing it as $59.99, and I was wrong. Totally a belligerent jackass. I told him that I didnt understand why I was prepaying for an audio unit that was not a special order part. He said that they put it in the back with my name on it. I told him that if I am paying for it, it leaves with me and I will bring it back when the install happens. He continued with his attitude. I told him to just reverse the whole transaction. He said fine, and stated reversing the charges he just processed on my card. I told him he had horrible customer service skills. He smarted off, and I told him I am not that guy. He said he wasnt either, and asked what was I going to do about it. Basically challenging me to a fight. I told him to finish the transaction and I would leave, and he could follow me out if he wanted to. He then started talking about yeah this guy and laughing. I asked his name, he refused only saying he was the store manager. He asked why I needed his name. I told him I am not done with this by a long shot, I would be making a call to the corporate office. He laughed and said to leave. I did. First step is this review, next step is to call corporate. Whoever decided this person is management material needs to reevaluate their decision. You would think when someone is dropping $300 in hardware, and another $300 in installation, you would value them as a customer. I feel sorry for his employees also. He interacts with them horribly. Truly unprofessional, and just a petulant child. Me boss, you not mentality. Needless to say, he didnt follow me out...

He also remembered is! He is very knowledgeable, kind, and sweet and he even helped us carry out our purchase. We bought a washer dryer set on 4/29. We have had two people come and spend several hours leveling our washer because when it gets to the spin cycle it jumps all over my laundry room. Called them about it this morning and they wouldn’t exchange it because the didn’t install it. We have had the washer for 5 days. We had to call Samsung and they are sending a repair person. Five total days!!!! The guys we used are a professional plumber and a master contractor. They should be qualified to install a washing machine, but not according to electronic express. Electronic express doesn’t have repair people. I am throughly disappointed in this store. I WILL NEVER use them again!!!!!!!!

Went to Electronic Express looking for a new stove. We met a very nice salesman Josh Miller who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the appliances. I didn’t feel like we were being pushed or over sold but he was very honest about what he thought we would need and explaining the difference in each appliance I looked at. The prices were competitive and they did have a decent selection. Overall I felt the service and the appliance was well worth the drive from Sevierville. I can say this was a first time experience for me in ever walking away feeling good about how we were treated and happy with our major purchase.

Thanks to this virus. I recently purchased a car stereo that didnt work when installed. Tried to return and they will not except open box returns right now. Made a purchase with them recently and am extremely satisfied. Customer service and pricing were fantastic. The best part of my experience was the effort DJ Pendergrass made to help me pick the right product. He came back to work an hour after his shift ended to help me find the right buy. I will definitely be going back for future purchases. Ask for DJ when you stop by, hes the best!

Awesome store. They have a wide variety of electronics to choose from! As soon as I walked through the door I had two people come up to me asking if I needed help. I told them I was looking for headphones, DJ took me right over to where the headphones were and suggested a couple of different brands. He was helpful and not at all pushy! I will definitely be back here when I need any kind of electronics.

Sat for 30 minutes plus in a 400 dollar gaming chair. Interested in buying it today. No help ever. Every person in the store was avoiding eye contact and NEVER wanted to assist me. Not coming back.Contacted the corporate email. Never got a response back after they reached out to me and reached back. Do not recommend.

I am in sales and I need a good pair of earbuds so after spending 15 minutes with the salesman I realized he wasn’t going to ask me my why or any questions that would help him help me. So I just told him I want those expensive pair of Bose earbuds right here, may I see them. His reply was I don’t have an open box...........I just left. Opportunity was there however preparation wasn’t therefore he lost the sale and I wanted to buy. My conclusion is train your employees it’s worth it in any industry..

Customer Service Rock Stars! I had an issue with an item I had purchased two weeks previous. Every person on the staff I spoke to went out of their way to help me and didnt make me feel like they were doing anything special. I love that kind of place. Theyve got a customer for life with me.
