That was the worst experience I have ever had at this location. This store used to have such good customer service, but now the people are so dismissive and rude. I came in to get my daughters tablet looked at at least to help us understand why it is not charging. I was told very rudely I thought he cant help me. Wont be back dont worry. I feel like I spend too much money each month with AT&T to be treated like that.

I was an AT&T customer for 14 years. Like any other business, there were ups and downs but overall the service was good. I didn’t have any complaints until I met ERICK at this location.I had to change my account from a shared account to my own and had everything ready. A woman named Tina from AT&T helped me a week before so I knew what I had to do. When I arrived to this location, everything started well until he asked how can I help you. My response was I need to transfer my account from a shared account to my own….right at that point he interrupted me and gave reason of why that wouldn’t happen without even listening to what I already had. I asked if f he would let me show the email that Tina sent a few days earlier and he say, sure, ok. While I was opening my email I asked: what are my options to upgrade my phone? Is there any promotion going on and that’s when he turned rude and nasty. He made sarcastic comments such as. Didn’t you say you already got an offer? I told he had to work in his customers service skills and left. Walk across the street and switched to T-Mobile. The experience there was great. Jasmine was great.It might not be a big deal to Erick or to AT&T, but they lost a customer of 14 years in less than 5 minutes. Quality customer Service is key.

We were met at the door and Jose was very pleasant. He noted they had no stock and the phone needed to be ordered and shipped, arriving Friday, two days later. Not a problem until we got to setup and transfer of all the info on my phone to the new iPhone 12. He noted I could walk into the Oak Brook Apple store any time (Saturday less busy, he said) without an appointment. This is totally untrue: Apple stores take ONLY APPOINTMENTS and Oak Brook had NONE for the weekend. It would have been a wasted trip for me if I had followed his advice.

Terrible store. We have been to this store several times and they have never been helpful. They consistently do the minimal effort and when asked about alternative options, the best they can do is telling us to call customer service. Customer service is a different branch of the company, we cant do anything for you in store. They also consistently have bad information and arent willing to talk to a manager (if ones even at the store) and are content with letting customers walk out of the store upset. Go somewhere else!

I went here with my mother on August 24, 2019 to get her phone unlocked. Even though she wasnt able to do so, the young man that helpec her was very helpful. We were in there for about one and half hours or more. I can say he did his part. I wish I could remember his name.

My experience at this store was AMAZING!As soon as I walked in, I felt welcomed.Melanie was a gem! She helped me so much.I purchased a few phones and watches and accessories and she was just patient and very knowledgeable. She helped me in every way possible and she answered all my questions.I transitioned from T-Mobile to AT&T and I can honestly say I am very happy. ☺️☺️Jose is also a sweet pea. He helped me choose my accessories and he put my screen protector on for me.☺️☺️I’m truly not sure of the security guards name, but he was very attentive and made sure that once I completed my purchase, and was ready to leave, he held the door open for me and made sure I made it to my car safely. ☺️☺️Overall my shopping experience was absolutely FANTABULOUS! 💕💕Thank you Melanie, Jose, and security guard. 😄☺️ I will definitely be back.

My name is Yong. I placed internet service on my apartment on November 2020 with Rep. named Ozzie. He promised me that he will waive me the installation fee which was $99.00 dollars. He wants me to pay the installation fee with the first month bill and will give me credit on the following month. However, it’s been 5 month past and AT&T never give me refund of my $99.00 dollars. I spoke to manager named Tom there and he also said that Mr. Ozzie already had quit and he himself is the new manager there, don’t know what to do about my issue. I told Tom that I want to speak to his supervisor and he said he will figure it out and call me but it’s been a month but didn’t hear back from him. I also called AT&T customer service and they said that if the store promised to give credit at that time, they have to give the credit. I think so too.But does this make sense to you guys? This retail AT&T just don’t want to give my money back. Mr. Ozzie also explained to me that the equipments are for free and is included in the monthly basic internet service which was $35.00 per month, however, later I received bill from AT&T, it came out $45.00. At that time I made sure to him about the equipment fee but he said it’s absolutely free of charge. What now? I think Mr. Ozzie fooled me and this retail branch is very irresponsible for their customer and training their staffs. It is really shocking to me and I will never use AT&T of any reason in the future. So disappointed.

I am very disappointed with the service at this location. Blanca assisted me with a transfer of service and purchase of 3 iPhones. I was told that the activation fees for all 3 phones would be waived back on 11/12/2020. I have since spoken to the store on 3 separate occasions and the fees have not been waived. I have spoken to a manager named Miguel who said he would get it completed and did not. Blanca informed me that the new manager Christian applied the credit on 01/13/2021 and it still has not been applied. I contacted Blanca again on 01/18/2021 to inform her that the credit of $90.00 still had not been applied and she stated she would have the manager Christian contact me. I still have not received a call back from the manager at this point and am very unhappy with the service level of this location.

I stopped in to replace my lost phone. Maribel was refreshingly informative and hilariously helpful. My husband and I were able to upgrade both of our phones in a reasonable amount of time, with no trouble at all. Bravo Maribel, bravo!!!!!

With all the craziness going on in the world, I do not leave my house unless it’s an emergency. Well, i dropped my phone and it kept saying no service and i wasn’t able to make calls or texts. I go into the store and they tell me my phone sim reader is broken. I am no tech savvy person. Of course i ended up getting a new phone. Melanie was awesome! She checked my account and made sure all my information was up to date; even told me i can save money by switching over to a newer plan. She made the process smooth and sweet! I am so appreciative of working with someone who did not try to rush the interaction and took her time to make sure I left with not only a new phone, but to make sure I’m leaving with all the benefits AT&T has to offer. At the time I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T I was told HBO Max would be included but when I got home and registered it was free for 7 days then you have to subscribe... AT&T thats not included... Shame Shame Shame you did not have to scam me to get me to switch.

Due to the fact that I have combined billing, any account changes with AT&T become extremely challenging with AT&T. I have tried to separate my billing and thought this had happened over a month ago, but alas when we went in to get my daughter a New phone, my billing was still combined. Eric and Ashan made sure we made updates to our account that would best serve our family, but in the process of changing the phone package the system kicked us out of our account and would not let us back in. Eric would not let us leave until he had done everything necessary to restore the Account. He was patient, persistent, and just a great all-around problem solver in this process. When he had exhausted what he knew to do, he was quick to pull in the manager Ashan to see if he had any knowledge to shine on the matter. The two worked collaboratively, bouncing ideas off one another for different backdoor methods to try to restore the account since the system would not let us in the front door. They had a great sense of humor. They were confident that they would find away. And most amazingly they kept our well-being at the center of their attention the entire time. Even as a solution became evident, Eric seem to take satisfaction in the opportunity to learn something new as well as to help us solve our problem. He is the sort of person that makes any team better, any company stronger. This AT&T store is fortunate to have both of these men working hard to take care of their customers.

Marty was AMAZING!!!! He helped me with all of my needs. He even made sure we were at the right plan for our data usage and knowledgeable about all of the products and accessories. I would have bought all of my accessories at the store but they were sold out of everything I wanted.Marty is the best. I came to AT&T to get help because all the customer service people kept confusing me and all promotions and deals. I found this great representative Martin who helped me with a ton of my issues and made sure I was on the right plan. I told my kids to switch from their cell services since they always complaining about the horrible service and terrible customer service. If you need a store that will treat you with great respect and patience this is the store to go to. Thank you once again!

Just an absolutely awful store. I sent my son in to pick up an upgrade for himself and they told him they didn’t have the phone. I decided to order the device online and do a pick up in store and the first store option available was Oak Park. Shortly after the online order was placed I noticed the order had been cancelled. So I called the store to verify for myself if they had it in stock. What I found weird was after the rep (Natalie) asked what phone I wanted she asked if it was a new line or upgrade. I don’t understand why that even matters but I told her iPhone Pro. She said they had only a silver. My son’s phone was in terrible condition and I felt like I was getting the run around. I walked into the location and before the rep even introduced herself she asked what I wanted and if it was a new line or upgrade (Yet again!). I asked for the phone again and as she’s literally saying they don’t have it without looking a rep comes out with 4 of them in his hand for new lines!!!!! I know because I asked the customers that were buying them. There’s no way customers should be mistreated because they’re not new lines. We have an 18 line business account that Verizon will certainly enjoy. Never again!

I should’ve wrote this a few weeks ago. Honestly, i had such a great experience although i did have my doubts. I came to the store because i needed home services and i worked with Melanie C. She asked who my cell phone provider was at the time and i said i had Verizon. She convinced me to switch to AT&t because of all the great promotions they were offering. But what did i like about my visit ? She was honest and straight forward. She explained in detail what i should be seeing on my bill and not everyone does that! This visit was like going to your hair stylist or nail salon and having a one on one conversation with a friend. I don’t really write reviews but she deserves good praise. Thank you!

Jay was very helpful. I started with another rep Ian who was very helpful but my situation couldn’t be resolved until I handled some things on my end. I came back a few days later and Jay was very aware of my situation and I didn’t have to mention it to him. They treat customers very personal. I live 30 mins away from the Oak Park location but I only come here because I have never had a bad experience. And I have been here at least 50 + times over the years

I am moving for the first time in 13 years. I went to the store to do a change of service and found that other service options were available, saving me $50 per month on my bill. The staff person I spoke to was very knowledgeable and patient. I left with an appointment for installation and a list of other instructions for the old equipment. The Oak Park store has convenient parking. All in all, it was worth the trip. If I had changed the service on line, I wouldnt have found out about the other options or savings. Theres nothing like a face-to-face.

All I can say is ..IAN!!! :-) After dealing with a terribly rude representative (white guy, dark hair, with large black gauged-earrings) was dismissed without any regard, walked-out on me WITHOUT SOLVING MY PROBLEM... IAN came through and saved the day. Ive dealt with IAN briefly before on a simpler bases, but yesterdays issues took more than 4attempts and 4 at&t reps to fix after assuring me that my account will be clear of any mistakes and would properly displaying imperative information regarding my account. Without any hesitation, Ian took over an extremely distasteful, rude and disrespectful situation, turned it around, and got me settled with my account! My account is now functionally properly and I am thankful he was there to pick up the pieces. Hes the best, he always has a down-to-earth personality, is very professional and is knowledgeable of the company! He needs to be promoted if he already has not been. The other rep should learn to channel his anger/and or hate for the general public possibly at home or in therapy!! THANKS AGAIN IAN!!

I am an advocate for good customer service. I was having a big problem with billing and cell phone plan. I was getting no where with customer service, so I stopped in the store on Friday, March 6, 2020 and Assistant Sales Manager Jeremy Gatan (Jey) was extremely helpful. He worked with me until my billing problem was fixed and he found me a better plan then I originally had. He was very patient and very knowledgeable. I recommend that if you are having problems with your bill or plan, do not hesitate to talk with Jey. Alex, which is Jeys manager was great as well.

My boyfriend just recently bought us new phones from the store in Oak Park. His experience with Thomas was incredible. He was super nice and very helpful. However, when I went back the next day to get cases he was busy with a customer and I ended up working with a guy named Jose. He was very rude and basically rushed me through it. I wanted his opinion on which was the better case but he barely wanted to tell me. I hope my experience is better next time, no matter what Im coming in for.

Very knowledgeable!Very polite Security manager also.Tonight, yes, my iphone was run over by a car and driver that rear-ended me in the snow. Natalie saved me, got me into my new iPhone 8 S, got it updated, grabbed my information through my Apple ID and iCloud and was absolutely phenomenal!They closed at 800 pm & stayed until it was done (9), so I could go on my trip to Europe. TERRIBLE SERVICE...I’ve always came to this store for my cell phone service and every time I come in there’s an issue. Either one of the staff has an attitude or they’re making excuses to not do what they’re supposed to do. I would not recommend coming to this store there a T-Mobile across the street, go there for a warm welcome, great customer service and assistance! Service here has made me want to switch over all together and I’ve been with AT&T for 3 years! Do better.

The manager Christian was no help when I came in because of a scratch on my Apple Watch. I told him when I purchased it the sales member never offered me a screen protector and he offered me his employee discount of 30% to purchase one for my already scratched watch. He mentioned another place that could provide repairs, but was not very knowledgeable or empathetic.Ultimately, I called the Apple Store where I was offered Apple care for a one time fee of $50 and replacements would be roughly $60. Im glad that Apple provides excellent service that can back up their products.AT&T needs to train their employees so that they can provide more detailed information for their customers. I shouldve been offered a protective screen, case, or Apple care when it was initially purchased. I wouldve have had to go through all of this if I was offered one of these services to begin with. Very disappointed with AT&T, but I still love my apple products.

NEVER will i come back to Att in oak park. I stopped in the store to get a service quote for my android tablet. A gentleman name erik helped me and it was the worst experience ever! When went to view the pricing on his tablet he rudely told me to get back and not to touch his ipad. I told him i was just trying to take a peek. He spat, that he wasnt going to tell me again & not to touch his ipad. I asked him to speak to a manager and the manager never came to speak to me. Another young lady by the name of jasmere offered to assist me. She was pleasant and gave wonderful service and the CORRECT pricing. As much as i wanted the service, i quickly left the store due to the embarrassment. I have never been spoke to in such a way in my life. I would never give that store my business! Mr. Erik shouldnt be in customer service.

This place has really stepped up their game. I went there recently with my parents to help figure out their bill and data plans. The woman who helped was so friendly and quick. She also came up with ways to help us save money and followed through. I kept thinking she would overlook or forget something, or the charge would suddenly go up at the end, but she was totally on top of it.
