This place holds a special place in my heart ❤️(literally) My son was born at Christ hospital with many hart defects and has had 5 open heart surgeries so far. My husband and I lived at Ronald McDonald house for 4 months when he was born. I would come here every weekend for a treat to keep myself in good spirits. Then after every stay for his surgeries or check ups I’d find myself back here for a treat. Service is always as sweet as the chocolates. I just love this place. ❤️❤️❤️

Im biased, I grew up on Cupid! The physical condition of the ice cream parlor side has clearly seen better days, but dont let that distract you from the quality of the ice cream, toppings or delights they create. The best chocolate malt Ive ever had, period. The candy side is well stocked, fresh and its delicious! Creams are actually creamy!

Prices are high. However quality is there. the staff are great and really know the product. So if you want good treats you wont go wrong. Oh and great milkshakes

Delicious ice cream store here for decades. Has ice cream, soft serve ice cream, ice cream floats, bannana splits, sundaes, various candies, they may have shakes and malts, waffle cone ice cream, milkshakes, root beer floats, hot fudge sundaes, gelato(?) Glaciers(?) Smoothies (?) Italian Ice (?) Etc.Very good ice cream and candy store.5/5 stars. My friends and family love this place. Hope to see them on DoorDash.

Great icecream and amazing employees. This place really brightened my day.

The lady who runs the place is always very short with me, she was snippy while we bought our mediocre candies. My fiancee and I went to the ice cream side to get some shakes. He ordered a cherry vanilla that he did not like and I got a cherry maple. I was not told that they use maple syrup to flavor the shakes so I ended up with a disgustingly syrupy drink that I barely fought half way through. Honestly they won an award for being the best candy and ice cream shop but I should just open a shop with literally no experience because I could probably do it better. I only wanted to come here because years ago I had a really nice sundae but its just not worth it.

Sad. This used to be our go to place for ice cream. No more. Last time we went i got a hot fudge sundae. The hot fudge was like plastic. It was inedible. I needed a knife to get it out of the little container. The ice cream is no longer top quality. It is now soft serve. Hubby asked for a Boston shake. Was told the machine was broken. He ordered a hot fudge sundae. The hot fudge was hard needed a fork instead of a spoon. We gave the place another try today. I ordered a chocolate sundae because of the inedible hot fudge. The ice cream is soft serve and not the hard texture of real ice cream like they used to have. There was literally a teaspoon of chocolate sauce. Hubby ordered a Boston shake with whipped cream and nuts. Incredibly, the liquid part of the shake was warm! Can you imagine a Boston Shake that isnt cold? And to add insult to injury there was no whipped cream and no nuts. We will never go back. Might as well go to a soft serve place. At least it will be edible. Very disappointing!

Made the best of a bad situation!On the first over 90 degree day, we stopped in and they informed us there was a power outage in the area that affected them. They were so nice I decided to get whatever I could and in the end my son and I were very pleased with our milkshakes and the great attitudes!

Nice little place in a easy location to find. Service was very good. Got a one pound box of mixed already wrapped to give as a gift.

Always love their ice cream bars. Lots of customers buying and getting Valentine wrapping for purchases. Counter lady was a trooper!!!!

Maybe I’m overthinking this but I Didn’t get attended till they saw a group of white folks enter then us being Latino getting attended right after they were attended even though we entered first and waited while staff walked by us plenty of times . The ice cream looked nice and presentable but to be honest tasted pretty bad and tables were incredibly sticky . Try hiring people who have better customer service and who know how to clean . But besides that don’t go here go to Gertie’s or Margie’s candies for some old fashioned looking and tasting ice cream 🙂

Went there today on a Sunday. My wife ordered a hot fudge Sunday and I got a waffle cone. All of the ice cream had small pieces of ice in it. The hot fudge in the small container was rock hard. The ice cream is served in a melting state. Its soft serve very gross with little to no flavor in some parts of it. We didnt even finish our ice cream. We decided to just pay for the garbage and went to Andys.

So sad. We found out it is closing Sunday. Thank you for the memories

Good Icecream with good size portions for your money.The shop is clean but needs some serious updates and remodeling with attention to minor repairs, like the soda fountain handle and other small items..Service is ok, but needs some training to young servers who dont bring you water unless you ask.Has a parking lot and jiseating booths of 4.

Ive gone to this location more than once over the past 15 years as it is conveniently located near my mother who happens to love the turks. I buy between 1 and 3 lbs of chocolate turks each time I go. I have also recieved poor service. I am African American and the last time I came to this location was before mothers day. I was not greeted or acknowledged. I was almost serviced after a white patron entered until I spoke up and then was serviced. Uncomfortable subtle occurrences that almost feel racial occur prior to service when coming to this location. My mother loves the chocolate turks but I refuse to ever return to this location based off the service provided to me and family members when attempting to purchase candy. I have since started purchasing candy from the western location and never have any complaints. I highly suggest management have diversity training with their staff as it will continue to affect future business.

It is and old ice cream shop..60 ish years...but they make their own ice cream and candy. Yumm. I had a turtle sundae with three scoops.nuts.whipped cream cherry.fudge and caramel. 5.99 range. They have cones etc. No coffee or other frills. Just icecream and homemade candy

This place is a joke. I went there with my wife and two kids. Sat down at a table, and we were literally ignored by the staff which is made up of high school girls who are more concerned with chatting and texting there friends. There was a leak in the roof, and it was raining. They had a bucket, right on the counter where they prepare the ice cream, collecting the leaking rain water. That cant be sanitary. After seeing that, and realizing we werent going to get any service, we got up and went to Andys which is right across the way. If I were the owner, I would definitely consider hiring experienced help. Also, if the roof is leaking in the food prep area, get the roof fixed and do not serve customers!!
