The ladies that work here are really polite and patient. They’re also generous with giving out samples. Everything that I’ve had here is good you can’t go wrong

The kanafeh is seriously good there is no other place that would compare to it in all of Chicago

Sooooo amazing they are so kind to take the time and describe all the sweets to us and the samples were amazing. The kiddos loved the cookies are scarfed them down. Baklava is some of the absolute best I have tried and the pricing is so good I couldn’t believe it for how much I got for under 20 dollars.

The woman was very nice and greeted us when we came in even though she had a customer she acknowledged us right away. The warbut was so good and she gave us some right out of the oven. It melted in my mouth, so delicious. Not too sweet just perfect

Hands down the best Chinaafa in the Chicagoland area. I remember eating at their 63rd and Kedzie location as a kid, and now his stuff is even better. Al is one of the best middle eastern bakers Ive ever met

Really friendly ladies working there. They help you figure out what you like. Also, food is really good and high quality. They really know how to adjust the amount of sugar they put. And most IMPORTANTLY, the awesome smell is what dragged me to their doors.

HORRIBLE Customer Service on the phone:I usually get authentic olive oil from a local sweets shop. Unfortunately, theyre out of it. So, I am trying to find a replacement.I called this place to ask them if they sold authentic olive oil. The woman was so rude. She started yelling and cursing and calling me bad things non-stop that I had to really hang up on her. She called me impolite because I asked if she sold olive oil!!!!I will not even think of having any kind of transaction with this place and I dont recommend it. Such a terrible experience and such rude people. Disgusting customer service.

Kanefe was fantastic! I have loved this dessert since I was a child and their version was fantastic. I brought it home and added the sugar syrup then heated.... DELICIOUS. I also tried the Birds Nest, and a few other things that I cannot remember the names. All delicious.I am so happy, I wound up in Burbank. I normally go to Orland Park, but the slight difference in time travel is totally worth it.YOU WOMEN BAKING ARE DOING AN AMAZING JOB!!!TOTALLY DELICIOUS!!! (Sorry, totally jacked on sugar and Arabian dessert HEAVEN!!!!)

This is my original go to place for fresh Middle Eastern sweets. The knafa is made fresh throughout the day and the servings are pretty generous. I have never come in here and not been offered a free sweet to try. The staff is very professional. It also has a small sitting area to enjoy your sweets or they can pack it to go. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

Horrible experience. I purchased Kanafah for Thanksgiving for a family gathering. Worst mistake ever. The sweets were COLD when I got home. I called back to advise the manager and received the worst hospitality ever. They told me to let it pass as a one time mistake, then advised me to put it in the oven. Why would I pay $40 for sweets to come home and put it in the oven when there’s already a turkey in the oven. We could have made sweets at home. Manager started cursing at me as if it was my fault. NEVER HAVE I EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK. NOT A FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. I’d rather take my money else place.

Excellent selection of Middle Eastern desserts made in house. They have several varieties of baclaca for example - with walnuts, with pistachios, with custard, without custard, etc.

By God, you are the only group today, there are sweets, God willing, but the only black point is the one who is in the shop and from his accent I think an Egyptian after what I bought asked him to give me a small box in which I do not know how to call it honey or distilled important said that the desserts where I told him know.
