No privacy at ALL. Went to a new Dr and he faxed over a new prescription today while I was there. Arrived at Walgreens three hours later. Very rude as she looked up my name and told me I wasnt in the system. Eventually she found me and asked what prescription I was looking for. As I was in the middle of answering she yelled out what it was for. My husband was with me but he was an aisle away shopping and he could hear her. Everyone waiting in line and probably most of the store now knew my prescription, which is an embarrassing feeling. She then said she didnt receive anything and that we sent a message to the Dr. I tried to ask which DR. Prescription of a different type from a brand new DR. I didnt want them to contact the wrong one. She then yelled saying we dont have anything and stating my prescription again. Again my husband could hear that as he continued to shop. I was absolutely dumbfounded by the pharmacy workers actions. I didnt know how to respond so I didnt say anything and walked out so she could be rude to the next person.Honestly never experienced such disrespect and lack of privacy before. Switching over to a new pharmacy tomorrow. Dont go here if you value getting your prescription and your privacy
The very definition of insanity. They are testing people for COVID in the drive through. That’s all well and good, except everyone waiting for a prescription is waiting while these people get their results. I started as car number 5. Forty—seven minutes later I am car number two. I am waiting for the third car to get their test results. There are six cars behind me. How hard would it be for them to have people awaiting results pull into the parking lot!!!! They could call them with the results. New pharmacy, I’m coming!!!!
**!! DO NOT USE FOR PRESCRIPTIONS !!** It took our family multiple days and trips to Walgreens Pharmacy to get one simple prescription. “It’ll be ready in a few hours sorry” is the only response you’ll get. Save yourself the time and frustration and use someone else for your prescriptions.
I came here to get my passport picture done at Walgreens. Convenient parking lot and friendly staff. Anette was very helpful and efficient. She quickly took the picture to passport specifications and processed it within 15 minutes. She even came to find me in the store when it was ready. Thank you for making a usually tedious task not so bad of an experience!
I had called about their drive up covid testing and the lady I spoke with was very dismissive, interrupted me when I was trying to ask a question, and treated me like I was stupid. Their phone customer service is quite lacking and not very empathetic. I wonder what their customer service is like inside of the store. This review is about their customer service not their products.
If you pick up your prescription, it may be best to go inside. The drive through takes foreverrr
Pharmacy does not honor appointments made for immunizations so if you’re looking to get one go elsewhere! Waited 2 hours after my scheduled appointment time for a shot.
Customer service is the worseThey give you excuses instead of doing their job and blame everyone else for it so sad i love to shop at walgreens but not this one
Flu shot with appointment over an hour waiting time.
Awful pharmacy. No concern for helping the people in this community. The head pharmacist named Ji explained to me that they do not allow discount coupons for medicine at this pharmacy even if they are Walgreens discounts and accepted at all other Walgreens. She told me it is her decision to make people pay more.
We as a family and any group I have contact with will be informed of my decision and reason to no longer use or shop at Walgreens OH. My treatment at our local location has been so unbelievably negligent and finally, hostile, that we are DONE.My Rx I’ve had for over 15 yrs is a controlled substance. HOWEVER. At 1.5 mg/day I am far below the upper dosage of 4mg/day. This isn’t even UP to a pharmacist; yet despite my PSYCHIATRIST of over 10 yrs repeatedly calling in my Rx it was held on THREE different refill occasions. We would call to see what the holdup was, were informed it was being filled (and pointedly told this was basically a favor, an “override” - of what? The DOCTOR’S Rx??????!), then a day later - still not filled. Repeat on two other occasions.FF to new antidepressant Rx. After a business WEEK of my insurance AND doc approving meds and supposedly everything is at Walgreens, on a Fri we are still without and get told everything should be fine. No Rx filled, but lots of updates in app like: no action needed, Rx being filled etc. So I end up going a full weekend w/o my antidepressants. Anyone that takes max dosage of these understands it’s serious to miss 2 full days. Monday: “it’s being filled.” Okay. Then another call saying, “it’s not covered because we can’t fill fully TODAY. So pls pay $47 and we’ll fill partial today then you can come back tomorrow and pay another $15 to fill the rest of your 30 day Rx.”I’m furious, admittedly. So when I get this call and I clarify, “so what you’re saying is because YOU don’t have the ability to fill this Rx in full today I either have to choose to go without for ANOTHER day or my option is to pay you an additional $47, is this correct?” And I get YELLED at to the point I raise MY voice to tell them to “WATCH THE ATTITUDE, GOT IT?!” So then they call us back an hour later! Trying to make amends by saying they’ll “help us out today by blah blah...”We simply said “No. We are done with you guys and your store.”We literally have never been treated like this at a pharmacy, anywhere in the US. Our family will never support a “pharmacy” and a staff that would treat patients like this DESPITE their insurance cooperation and their doctor having to repeatedly get so involved. This place is DANGEROUS and incredibly RUDE and all about some weird power play. We suggest you let them have their jollies solo and instead find a GOOD and straightforward local pharmacy like Rite-Aid or Lind’s.
Never have I seen a pharmacy like this one. I have been using the Everett Clinic for years with one Med. I found it could be cheaper at this Walgreen.I asked Everett to send the prescription there. A week later I drove 20 miles, 40 round trip.......NOPE, not in the system. Back to Everett and a nurse I know. How bout doing it again....same thing. Finally Everett nurse calls the pharmacy and is advised they had no prescription for me but in the discussion the pharmacy suggested a different size with them to save waste.I went in three days after that.........NOPE, not in the system.I called the nurse and said send it to Safeway, Oak Harbor.Got it today.Sad story. Wish I knew why.Note this review is pharmacy only, the rest of the store is great..good, friendly, helpful people.
I just wanted to say I‘m pretty astounded by the amount of rudeness that came from the pharmacy tech, and by the unbelievably condescending words and attitude from the pharmacist herself. I expect a certain amount of professionalism, and this was probably some of the worst costumer service I have ever encountered. You are not doing me a favor, I pay for this service, and it’s more expensive than any other place in town. I expect to be treated with a human amount of respect and to be spoken to like an equal. And because of the way I was spoken to and treated as a customer, you have lost the business of me and my entire family, not that you probably care.
I was looking for face masks yesterday, but they didnt have any, I believe it was the store manager that I had asked. He mentioned another store had some. I was sitting out back of the store resting when he came up yo me and gifted me with a pack of ten. He had gone to the other store, out of his way to do so. Shout out to Walgreens, they go out of their way to help the customers during this pandemic. Thankyou.CME
Summary: Poor communication, poor service, do not recommendVery poor pharmacy service. Although staff was nice enough, there was always some issue with my prescription that wasn’t communicated either in my file or amongst their staff. Of the four or five times I visited for my monthly prescriptions, staff always kept me waiting for long periods of time as they conversed with one another, never communicating to me what the issue was despite my asking how I could make things go more smoothly in the future.
If you have seen one, you have seen then all. Their pharmacy is pretty slow if more than one person is there and the photo counter person knows no more about pictures than your average DSLR owner. I do have to say the woman who gave me my immunization a was nice. For a corporate box it isnt terrible, just typical. I prefer Island Drug, mostly on shop local principle.
Pharmacy is a scam, trying to charge 86$ for a 10 dollar medication. Run away fast. They also do this with their buy 2 items over priced and get a third item half off and still is over priced over other stores if you have a card if not pay tripple. Worthless place.
All the poor pharmacy reviews for this Walgreens are not a coincidence. Its the worst Ive ever experienced. Prescriptions are never ready at time promised and its always service with an attitude. Avoid!
Marie the cashier is one of the friendliness people I have ever met. She is always smiling.
Being a woman of color is difficult enough when living in a small town, but when major store chains fail you it is out landish.Inquired about purchasing coffee colored stockings to be told I would need to go to their website and and purchase because I am requesting a specialty item...I beg your pardon when did being a woman of color become a specialty consideration?I want to shop local, I want to be able to be properly identified as a consumer participant within my community and not be shoved to the back of the Cyber space bus seat.Relda White-WeagantOak Harbor, Washington
Half of the pharmacy staff members are completely ignorant and undeserving of their jobs. Ive never witnessed so many individuals that refused to do their jobs properly. I requested to have a Rx transferred from another pharmacy. Instead of fulfilling the request, I received a ton of excuses as to why they couldnt. I also asked if they could contact my nurse directly to receive the Rx over the phone. Their response was a flat no. My requests werent outrageous in nature. In fact, other pharmacies have transferred my Rxs in the past with no problems. Moreover, I didnt appreciate how I was treated.
They are always great! Best pharmacy in town!!
Their pharmacy is incompetent. They tell you it will take between 10-15 minutes to fill an antibiotic that they literally only have to add 9ml of fluid to and it takes them 45 minutes. As an RN it floors me at their inefficiencies. If they ran a hospital pharmacy this way, my ICU patients would die. Go elsewhere.
Pharmacy workers are incompetent, uneducated, poorly trained and way overpriced on co-pays. Very poorly run management!
Slow and people terrible. Go to Safeway.
Typical Walgreens, no problems. (~);}
