Getting my prescriptions filled here have been a hassle to say the least...One of the pharmacists I’ve dealt with twice has been nothing but rude and unhelpful...There has been system issues the last 3 times I’ve tried to pick them and she’s done nothing to try and help or remedy the situation. However another pharmacist(Rob I believe is his name) has been super helpful and done what he can to help fix the issue and at least get me my meds or partial fill til the system issues gets resolved! On a side note the store part and employees are awesome and Amazing!! Especially Cody!! The dude knows what he’s doing and always helpful and in a great mood!
We have tried all the local pharmacies. We have a child with complicated medical issues. The pharmacists here have always gone above and beyond. Working with children’s hospital and our insurance compnay to help us get the meds she needs. I have had cancer and other medical issues and they are always super helpful when my meds need to change. We have 7 people in our family. Once Covid hit things got harder for our family. They deliver they medication free of charge. And the woman that delivers it is very kind and prompt. We have puppies and a cat and she always is cautious when pulling into our driveway. If I need something ASAP. They will do their best to meet that need.I hear customers complaining that …”I got a text!!! Why aren’t my medicine ready”!!!! Yelling at the sweet girl at the counter or super helpful guys. Well they tell them you need to click on the blue link on the text and put in your last name birthdate and what meds you want. This will get it ready to be picked up. NO one does this !!!! Corporate needs to send out a text to explains it better to customers. It’s not the pharmacy staffs fault. For some people they aren’t tech savvy… but I hear the staff telling the customers and they just get yelled at.If you get a text. Hit the blue link that comes with it. Your last name and birthdate. If there are multiple people in your house hold. It could be a different birthdate. It will ask what you want to refill. You can have it ready next time you go in. I love this service. You can also pay online or say someone else will get it.The Techs Nisha, Barb all of them are great!! We have had problems at other pharmacies and this Rite Is store has always gone above and beyond for our families meds. Especially our daughter who her meds are complicated with insurance now days.CM
This is a great store all around! The people are always friendly and so upbeat! Cody who I believe is manger or possibly asst. manager is always there with a smile, a friendly word, remembers your name and just emits a sincere professional kindness you rarely have the pleasure of encountering in retail ever anymore! Your pharmacy staff ROCKS! Always so kind and considerate and they get the job done as quickly as possible but we all have to realize that this is a service we want done RIGHT not done at laser speed! One pharm staff in particular Nisha (spelling) is a real pro at her job! The gal has kindness and great knowledge of this department and it’s workings, she gets the job done with those crazy insurance companies and really takes the extra time to make sure the customer is charged accordingly, she keeps you informed every step of the way and when she tells you she’ll get back to you when there is an issue she absolutely does!! Love this place! They’ll always get my business!!
Prescription says 60.I paid for 60. Only 30 in the bottle. Nicely done !Really tired of this particular situation at this particular store.
If your choice is between Island Drug and RiteAid?... Its a no-brainer: RiteAid!!! (We have lived on the island 3+ years now. Dad is 54. My special needs son Nathan (Downs/Autism) is 28. Over that time, we have tried to fill maybe 10 prescriptions at Island Drug, not counting a few other folks in our lives. Without fail, something goes wrong *every* time. We have never had a script just go through without issues, and the vast majority of the time it was supply issues (Cant blame COVID-19: this far-preceeded that!)Moved to RiteAid. About 18 months ago. Well over 30 prescriptions filled there now. Not. One. Single. Problem. Zero. ❤️ #RiteAid Also, one script from Costco. For at least a year. Not. One. Single. Problem. Zero. ❤️ #Costco THANK YOU!
The store manager here is pretty amazing. I say manager because I could tell just by how he carried himself. He greeted us and struck up a quick conversation. I noticed him do this with quite a few others while I was there. Very friendly, helpful and professional.
Staff is always super nice, great customer service. They really try hard and pharmacy staff always wonderful, smiles and works to help you.
Waited in line to get a passport picture but unable to complete this task due to rude customer treatment and being completely ignored after being told to wait by the photo window.
For the past two months I have used the app to refill my prescriptions. The first time they had two days. The second time they had three days plus an extra day because I didn’t make it to the store. Both times they do not have the prescriptions ready. This is the worst pharmacy I have been to.
Nice staff, has what youd expect
Store is always clean and well fronted. Staff warmly greets you as you enter. Staff actually notices when you linger too long and asks if you need assistance (Thank you!) They know their store and where stuff is. Bathrooms are clean. Pharmacy is why this rating is 1 star less. They take longer than other rite aids but not much longer than any other pharmacy in this town, still no excuse. I can say the staff in the pharmacy are courteous sand friend;y.
All ways friendly at pharmacy manger is great
Janet is a cashier here that I was lucky enough to run into. She was so sweet and helpful. I hope she reads this. Thank you for your help.
Nearly 1 hour for a simple vaccine. It is hard enough to get your child to agree to get a shot but then to wait for an hour when they estimate 15 minutes is unacceptable.
I’ve felt nothing but good vibes from all the staff, and people are always so ready to help 👏🏾
Can take a while to get prescriptions filled, but the service is good. Everyone is always really friendly and accommodating.
I absolutely LOVE the pharmacy staff!!
Ive never really had any issues. My prescriptions are normally ready when expected and they are also pleasant.
Never answer the phone
Great prices on beer, wine and hard liquor!
Filling a prescription with them is a pain in the ass. Had to transfer a prescription from Walgreens and they said it would take 30 minutes to fill. So went home and waited 30, Nothing, then waited a full hour before calling, then called to hear I have to wait another 45 minutes. Poor service. Never filling my meds here again or at Walgreens.
Rite Aid in Oak Harbor is always clean, friendly prices and OK prices.
All Rite Aid pharmacies in this area, including Anacortes are shown to close at 10pm, but this is incorrect. I just walked in at 9pm and it was already closed.
Waited for 2 hours for a prescription I had called in days prior. It wasnt the first time I had to wait at this Rite Aid for over an hour, but it will be the last. Never again..
The store part itself is very nice convenient but but if youre going to the pharmacy they are rude disrespectful and should no way be in the medical field . It amazes me how disrespectful these companies can be these days and nobody cares about good service anymore!!!
I always end up waiting too long for prescriptionsIt’s Ridiculous.
Slow service. Waited 2 hours.
Very helpful and friendly
Worse pharmacy ever. Mess up my prescriptions every month. They never have them ready on time. Usually have to go in more than once to get one prescription because its not ready .
Worst pharmacy in oak harbor slow rude staff
Very nice associates
Takes at least an hour to get a prescription filled
Super slow pharmacy
Terrible service.
They filled my proscription.
