We went to Best Buy on a Thursday afternoon to look at speakers to improve our TV sound system as well as play music via Bluetooth. Anthony, one of the sound guys there, was super helpful and very knowledgeable about all the setups they had and helped us pick out a system that we are really happy with. He was very patient, listened, and took the time to explain the best options, as well as show us some cool products that we could expand our system with later if we wanted.If you go to this Best Buy looking for a sound system I would highly recommend talking Anthony. He definitely knows what hes talking about.

This Best Buy location combines great selection of products with exceptional employee knowledge and amazing dedicated service. Over the past five years, I have made small purchases (like a coffee maker) along with large ones like a home theatre and found that their people to make the difference. It was so exceptional that when we renovated our house we purchased all of our appliances for our new kitchen from this store.Five years later, we needed service on our Samsung range. Though there were problems with their service provider that made it incredibly frustrating, a call to the GM of this Norwalk store solved everything in a few minutes. Now I know why the staff is so good as well. Excellence emanates from the top and in this case you have a store with leadership that is second to none.I recommend that everyone consider giving them their business!

Wow! We went shopping there, and the experience in the store was like any other Best Buy. However, NORWALK IS UNSAFE. First, we were accosted by five recent immigrants, then there were motorcycle gangs racing up and down the streets of the town. They tried to run us off the road and the NOISE is unbearable in the entire town. We skipped dinner in the town, especially CT Ave and Scribner which were the streets we were on. We felt lucky to escape that town, better to shop in Afghanistan or Mexico City, than Connecticut it seems.

If you need a sign, here it is. Do not come here for curbside pick up!Im a big fan of curbside pick up and needed a specific mouse. I was pleased to see that best buy was carrying the mouse and was instantly sold on the bold letters Get it fast and free, ready in one hour. written on their website. I waited an hour for an email to state my order was ready for pick up but never got it. I decided to just come to the store an HOUR AND HALF LATER, hoping It would be ready, It was NOT. I walked in and was greeted by John at the register. I explained my order was not ready but have been waiting for over an hour. He was absolutely incompetent during my experience. He told me I would have to keep waiting. I insisted I take the item off the floor myself if they were understaffed but said it was not possible because of a process it has to go through. He recommended I cancel the item and purchase it again at the register. I was absolutely not going to do this, and SHOULD NOT HAVE TO. I decided to leave and continue running my errands. 2 hrs later, still NO EMAIL CONFIRMATION. This time, I found the mouse myself and headed back to the register - I ran into John and told him I have the physical item in my hand - can you just process it He said no and someone else will be able to help me. I was sent to Yvette (Not sure if thats her name because hair was covering her name tag). I told her what happened, and she apologized and said it was very busy. I told her theres more employees than customers and continued to say It was very busy. She appeared agitated by the lack of help from her colleagues in the Order pick up section. She took the mouse, scanned it, and said I was all set. What aggravates me most about this experience was Johns inability to provide service and/or pursue a solution. As a customer, I should not have to do the job that these employees are paid to do.I will stick to Staples, Target, Walmart. Never coming here again and you shouldnt either!

I was greeted at the door and asked what I needed help with. An associate immediately helped me choose a laptop. He also enlisted the help of his Geek Squad colleague to answer my questions about data transfer. In less than two hours, I had a fully functioning laptop with all my data on it.

I used to come here all the time, but after seeing the way the the general manager (Kristen) treat her employees so badly multiple times while I was there, I refuse to shop at this Best Buy again. This place was full of fun, helpful employees and it seems like what was working in this Best Buy is slowly disappearing. I will never shop here again! This was the worst experience ever!! I tried calling the store to let them know that my GPS had me getting to the store at 8:03, which is 3 minutes after they closed and I had already purchased an item online that I had to pick up for a gift for someone that day. I had been running around and the traffic on 95 was horrendous, and no one would pick up the phone. I got to the store at 8:03 and saw 2 gentlemen by the door and I got their attention, they were so rude! I asked them please to assist me with my curbside order and they were so rude and nasty they just shut the door in my face! I will never go there again this was horrible customer service!

The manager there was super nice and tried very hard to be helpful, but Best Buys online ordering is pretty terrible. They advertise 1- hour pickup, but it took more than 3 hours before I even received an order confirmation.Being an eager beaver trying to beat a pending snow storm, I headed to the store aiming to get there an hour after my order was placed. Apparently, the store cant tell me anything about my order status until that confirmation comes through. Even though I got a vague confirmed text at the time of placing the order, the store saw nothing associated with my phone number. I left after an hour of standing around in the store with the advice to call customer service. The phone rep got exactly as far as any in-store employee with locating my order. (They couldnt find it even though there was a pending charge on my credit card) Eventually the order confirmation came through. From there, it was a little under 2 hours until my order was ready for pickup.I get that they are jammed with the holiday season, but Best Buy needs to fix their system, change their advertising and do a better job of managing customer expectations. The employees did the best they could with this ineffective system, but the whole process has been utterly frustrating.

Dropped by to grab a computer cable quickly, but found that there was a queue to get into the store, due to social distancing and occupancy limits. I didn’t have to wait too long, but if possible I would recommend buying your item on their website and then picking it up from them. It’s usually ready within an hour and they bring it out to you!

Getting in the entrance was easy. Usally you have to ask to be pointed in the direction of the dept. You seek. Today a friendly employee approached me and told me i needed to check in if i wanted help. I told jer i was fine. Proceded to walk to the computer dept. Where after waiting 5min a employee came over and asked if i needed help. Super friendly service. The checkout experance was the worst an employee at the regester standing under the pick up sign. Nit the check out sign. So i assumed that we had two lines going...never do that... Another employee made some smart remark concering why they didnt understand why i was so far back. Bro. Dude. Curbside pickup was so easy. The pickup instructions were wrong. There were no numbered parking spaces. Just get in a pickup line and call. They didnt use the order number like the the of email said. But just asked for my picture ID and what I ordered. I had no items and was out in five minutes.

Purchased a Laptop today from Best Buy in Norwalk, CT. I never write reviews but I was blown away by the service I received today so I had to as it is the right thing to do. Nisha was amazing!!! By far, the most knowledgeable sales consultant I have ever dealt with when it come to computers. She has been there 7 years and I see why, she is an asset to the company. When I had asked a question about an extended warranty, she had called over Mike to assist. Mike is another scholar!! A gentleman and a wealth of knowledge like Nisha, and a pleasure to talk to. I placed my order on line and did curbside pick-up. Everything went very smoothly and I received my order very quickly. The only real drawback is that there are 4 spots for curbside pick-up and people not picking up use those spaces. So, depending on how busy things are it can take some time. There is a link in the email that does show you how busy it is throughout the day.

The return/exchange policies are inconsistent. I was told 3 different things regarding their policies. I spoke with a 4th person on the phone and requested to talk to a manager. I was told the supervisor will call me in an hour. It has been 5 hours and I have not received a call. I would rather buy from Amazon, their customer service is a lot better and organized. Use to love shopping here until my most recent visit. I had purchased a TV through them online and arranged for curbside pickup. Once I got the tv I realized it didn’t have the functionality I needed so I had to return it. I checked Best Buy online and called customer support, which both told me I could return it to the store by the 13th. Today when I walked in, the general manager was called over to deal with my return. First off she tried telling me that online and in store are different, and I can’t return it. I told her that I called customer support and also states in the email that I have until the 13th to return. At this point she very rudely starts asking me to see it which I show her. She then starts aggressively telling me I need to ship it back and when I try to say anything she just starts talking over me. Before this even happened, I clearly watched her degrade all of the employees around her and just shout at people. Being in the tech industry, I frequently shop at stores like this, but never this location again. Best Buy needs to do something because this is the worst experience I have ever had at one of their locations. Will be letting everyone in my industry know about her and her store.

Needed printer ink and/or a new printer. They did not have the ink cartridge that I needed. I tried to buy a printer instead. The one and only printer in stock and available was $499. Do not go here for printers or printer supplies. The sales person told me to try Staples. I did so and found the ink I needed. You should probably go to Staples instead if you need anything printer related.

The experience was much like buying a used car. I was essentially defrauded by a fast talking salesman scribbling numbers on a blank sheet of paper. After I reluctantly agreed to go forward with a purchase, the invoice showed a price higher than Verizons online list price. For a first hand look at a gadget before you buy, this is the most accessible store by far. Its good to do your homework and research the price beforehand, and have the details of the device handy. Many items are similar and its easy for the staff to make an honest mistake and hand your the wrong item. The people there are generally helpful and courteous. Over the years, customer service has improved. Pricing is competitive on selective items.
