This Northampton location was closing in 1/2 hour on this particular day and felt rushed to purchase some gardening supplies for Spring projects. The staff was ready to leave yet one older helper stood by until we found most items on our list. The BEST of all local ACE stores. Not that big but houses a great variety in smaller space.

Ask for Tommy. Hes a wealth of knowledge. I also like that Ace lets me access the fasteners without having to open a bag.Ace in general.seem to have the higher grade tools than the big box stores. I use their ironclad gloves when mountain biking. Far better than the gloves at bike shops - and cheaper!They are far far better at so many things than big box - keys for instance where close DOES NOT COUNT. Ive had big box key copies fail. Not these guys.

Miller Supply Ace Hardware runs like a well-oiled machine. You get the pleasure of knowledgeable staff who are courteous, helpful and efficient plus this neatly-packed, sparkling clean store is loaded with clever, innovative merchandise that you didnt know you needed and now you have to have it. And, its on sale! I was amazed at how much fun it can be to shop in a hardware store. While they cut a new chip key for my car at a fraction of the dealers price, I shopped the aisles and found items that I had long ago given up searching for in Lowes and Home Depot. Theres no chance that you will come to Miller Supply Ace Hardware and find yourself alone wandering through the aisles, looking for someone to help you. The staff are absolutely fantastic. Also, they seem to have more American-made items, and that is what I want to see in an American store. Its a pure pleasure and good value to shop at Miller Supply Ace Hardware.

Hometown service with a VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF. The atmosphere reminds me of the little hardware store we used to have in town. If you can’t find it here don’t fear there knowledge base will order it or offer an alternative do dad for what you are trying to fix!!

I have absolutely eliminated all the big box hardware stores to shop exclusively at ACE in Northampton. In my mind if they dont have it then it doesnt exist. The #1 feature is without a doubt the OUTSTANDING customer service! I dare you to walk in and wander for less than 2 minutes until a representative asks you if you need assistance. An excellent variety of items, reasonable prices and EXCELLENT STAFF....from Mike on down EVERYBODY is super helpful. I’m a new home owner that has never fixed a thing in my life. After leaving my parents house, I always rented. Literally, been taught by the guys at Ace how to fix everything in my house as something in my house goes wrong. I would spend $100,000s (not an exaggeration), on hiring repair men to do simple jobs that the gentleman at Ace walk me through how to do. For instance, Deluxe Plumbing and heating came to my house and told me the piece that was broken to my shower they never seen before and could not locate the part, so they would need to replace everything. But not to worry because they would give me a bunch of add-ons for free since it would cost so much. Had a picture of the piece, went to Ace hardware, before I even spoke the gentleman said the name of the part out loud and walked me right to it, literally without me saying a word. Then I explained the situation, he told me how easy it was to replace. I did the job myself for $6 purchase opposed to a multiple thousand dollar job.

This ace is top notch. They have helpful people... Unlike the big boxes. Only downside is like anywhere else... U must match prices... Some of the markups are very high... But I just dont buy that stuff. The owner Dale is consistently nice and also very accomodating on special orders. If u have a real order that has $$$$. He will price match.

Very helpful folks. People in every isle to help you. But....... Then you get to the check out. Where the lines moves like molasses in January. They rarely have more then one person there and its painfully slow and painful to watch. But they are friendly.

I already shared my opinion on Miller supply in Northampton... it has practically everything you need in regards to Home Improvement; Nuts bolts, fertilizer, window screen fixing and so forth. very reasonable prices compared to your big corporate hardware stores.... and knowledgeable employees......

Huge variety of items! Including Yeti! Employees are super friendly. Close early at 4 on Saturdays & closed Sundays.

This is my favorite hardware store! Its always well-stocked, its family-owned locally, and the service is second to none! The pricing is right, as well. Love their selection of fasteners... they often have types and sizes that none of the big chain stores have.

Picked up a couple of LED flood lights it was a good and friendly visit.

I had just moved to the area and was in need of a garbage can for my new place. I received a movers coupon and decided why not check this place out. I was immediately greeted when I walked in which made me feel very welcomed. A store employee (I think his name was Brian) mustve seen my overwhelming concussed look as I was in search for my new garbage can and became veey tentative on helping me with my needed purchase. Once I found the one I wanted for the price I was willing to pay, he took it up the register for me and even loaded it in my car. I drove away knowing they just made a new customer a returning customer.

This place exceeded all expectations. They helped us with all our needs. The guy was knowledgeable and helped even allign things so the bolts would go through. The gentleman let us use tools that he had in the store (store owned not new) to put the bolt thought the bike seat.

I will never step foot in another hardware store ever. Millers is hands down the best customer service focused local companies I have ever had to deal with. Went over and beyond. Thank you Mike and Justin for my new Big Green Egg!!!!!!

Love this Ace Hardware and almost everyone who works here. Great place for finding miscellaneous parts that only the backyard mechanic would B looking 4. Prices are competitive with the big box stores but the service is superior at this Ace. No problem parking but the traffic light on route 329 at the entrance is timed 2 frustrate.

10 STAR! ALL of the guys and girls know the store and get you what you need as soon as you explain what your looking for. As one of the other comments were said, pay a little more but get first hand experience as well as ALL THE PARTS YOU NEED. ONE STOP SHOP because the workers will REMIND YOU, the dont forgets.
