Needed to check diagnostics on check engine light and the fluids needed to be checked/safety inspection done. The repairs that might need to be done in the future were explained to me along with the pricing I could expect, which was extremely helpful. The invoice had these itemized. I appreciated how Jason got back to me right away like he said he would.

These guys are very friendly and took good care of me and my truck. Very knowledgable, trustworthy and honest people. Ontop of that, they took care of e-check for my vehicle and worked with me on a solution to my problems that didnt break my bank. Quite the opposite, actually

I tried to find a mechanic to repair coolant leak, no one seemed to want to do it because you have to take half the car apart to fix it. Jay said he would do it. Gave me a great price and did an excellent job. No more leaks and car runs like new.Would definitely take my car there again if it needs repairs

Great service. Clean neat office. I was only there about ten minutes but it was a great experience. They provide free water and single serving coffee. Great business in my opinion.

I have lost track of the number of times I have been to Friend Lee Automotive. I go back because the experience is worry free. No worries about whether my car needs the recommended service, no worries about the price, and no worries about the quality of the workmanship. A father and son shop who succeed because they are good at what they do and honest as the day is long.

Brought car in this week left ovenight and picked up next morning. Quick excellent service, inspection noted some issues that I will address. No pressure to get them done now. Bringing both our cars here for years, always honest and if any problem make it right immediately.

Very pleased with Friend Lee Auto. My first impression was pleasant, but after a few visits there, I’ve learned that the owner, Matt, truly cares and is a person of integrity. That goes a long way with me. Would definitely recommend.

I have been a customer for 20 years, and always found Matt and Jason to be 100% honest and dependable. They NEVER have done any work on our cars that wasnt necessary. Every new car we have purchased has been serviced by Friend-Lee as soon as the warranty expired. I have referred several people to Friend-Lee and they are also loyal customers.

Matt the owner went above and beyond explaining to me as they worked.5-25-2018 Just an update, I have now been going to Friend Lee Auto for over 4 years and I am as pleased today as I was when I started going there. I am on my 3rd vehicle and I appreciate how well Matt takes care of my cars and me.

We have taken our vehicles to Matt and Jason for close to 25 years, following them to North Royalton from Maple Hts. When you find an honest mechanic, you stick with them. They do work that needs done only and will tell you when work doesnt need done. We have recommended Friend-Lee to several friends and relatives who all have been pleased with them.

Great shop will be back

I originally drove out to North Royalton to get my oil changed at another shop. Once I arrived there I learned that they had went out of business. Frustrated, I called Friend Lees and told Matt, the owner, that I had driven almost 40 minutes to get an oil change and that the place was closed down. He told me not to worry and that he could get me in right away and take care of my oil change. He was amazingly nice and very welcoming. He explained everything to me.. including the parts they use and even the brand of oil. Even though it takes awhile to get here, I may just have to continue to make the trip!!!

Going through a folder of old receipts from 2009 for work done on my Auntt car...charged her $192 to change out the Stabilizer bar link! Even back then, labor was $86/hr, and the part was around $12!! This is remarkable...and why Im posting...the work was done at the old location, and although done, was vastly overcharged. Google Maps wasnt around then, so...they never got a rep through ratings that EVERYONE could see...things change..I hope they have. Dont take advantage of little old ladys money, just so you can use it to relocate to a nicer place!BTW, this job WITH checking out the rest of the car like they did, only takes about a half hour to forty mins.

Its a 5 star business.

I took my car here twice. Once for an electric window that was stuck & a check engine light ... $456 later the engine light was still on. Second time was for a tension pully ... they wanted to charge me $300 yet I went to the store next to their shop bought the pully kit for $50 & put it on myself. One bolt & they wanted $300??? What a joke ... go to the guy on top of the hill across from the police station ... fair prices & does what hes supposed to.

The owner told me then showed me the issue I had with my exhaust. He gave me a quote and had it fixed the same day.

Very rude man at front desk it was almost like it was a bother for him to have my business. Nice place horrible attitude.

Jason is not only friendly, he is honest. I recommend him to all of my friends.

EXPENSIVE ....STAY AWAY...They overcharge on parts....when I offer them to bring them a part they say buy yourself tools also and replace it yourself....my part cost 50$ they charge me 290$ for it.....and it was not even dealer part...ac delco aftermarket....DONT GO THERE...

The guy Matt is rude and short with customers do not know how they stay in business. When you see a sign that say What happens in garage stays in the garage! Makes you wander how well they really do! Something to think about!!!!
