Midas on Route 22W in North Plainfield was fantastic fixing the muffler and exhaust for my vehicle. Jesus was great at explaining everything and fixed my car very quickly and I’m very happy with the results. Highly recommend them and will utilize them in the future!

Front desk guy super nice and friendly. He always take care of all my car issues carefully. Cheers to them. Their best thing is they are customer oriented(value their customer) and in addition also send coupons to your email.

I’ve used Midas in the past and most recently, Jesus reached out to check to see how my car was doing and if I needed anything... I was actually due for an oil change so he was able to set up a appointment over the phone for later in the week. When I brought the car in he was very helpful and informed me of some other work that needed to be done on the car. Everything was able to be taken care of within a few short hours... Jesus checked in a few days after the appointment to make sure the car was running smoothly... It is nice to have a place that cares and takes care of their customers, I definitely would recommend their services!!

Very professional & honest mechanics. They call with updates in the status of the repair, notify you if there are any delays and provide honest upfront pricing. They do great work and return the car neat & clean. Highly recommend!!

Midas in North Plainfield are amazing.!!! Jesus is awesome informing you about the work being done. I took it for an oil change and to also have my windshield wipers changed everything was done quick and they also informed me that my license plate lights were not working so they took care of that as well. Excellent work from the Midas guys..!!!!

The service was great, they told me what had to be repaired before the aligment could be done. And when I came back a week later. He remembered me took the car and the aligment was completed.

The customer service is wonderful here. I went in for an oil change and brakes (as I was told by the dealership that it had to be done) and was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. So much so that I scheduled an appointment for my husbands car and will recommend that my dad come here as well. Fast and efficient service! Friendly staff and clean waiting area.

I went in mostly for just an oil change and a quick once over. They were very nice, went over prices and what my car needed done before charging me. They told me what else The car needed but didn’t push any other services on me, if I didn’t want or couldn’t get something done it was an “ok” and they moved on. I appreciated that. The one guy at the front even discussed cars with me and how certain parts work and was super nice about it. The service was really fast and I had my car checked and oil changed in under 30 mins. I would definitely bring my car back here if I needed anything in the future.

There were two associates working and they were professional, nice, and efficient

My car wouldnt start. They told me that the battery bolts were loose. They tightened them and didnt even charge me anything. I will definitely be back here when I need auto repairs.

Excellent experience at this shop. Jesús is quite an affable person. Had a three hour wait and didnt have ride, and he arrange to give me a lift home and picked me up when the job was done, that is going above and beyond. This is now my shop of choice.

This place is no good I brought tires there on December 2019 I went back to them on September,5 2020 to get a wheel alignment he got the nerve to tell that my front tires are almost bold I ask him why he said that because no one did a tire rotation I say to him when I brought the tires here why they didn’t do a tire rotation? from there on he got very fresh start yelling at me call me all Types of names I was very upset I’m going to report him I have witnesses this happen Saturday September 5,2020 at 2.00 clock pm I can’t believe this place..

If you do not take your car here then you really do not care about your car at all . this place not only does great work for a fair price but the customer service is perfect they dont need to fix a thing . you always feel like your bringing it to a family member to get fixed because they are just awesome people at this midas . and because of that i take all my cars here for my business all the time . this midas in particular is the best . i dont care if this place charged me 700 and someone else could do it for 300 i would still pay to go here because there employees actually have passion for what they do and thats rare in this days .

I cant say enough about Nick, his customer service is excellent. His attention to detail and his communication with our company is top notch. Because of this, we now have our fleet with Midas.They gave us very competitive pricing for all services and tires. We are not also using them for our own personal vehicles. Came in with my sons car, and they were able to replace 2 tires on the spot, despite having a lot of people there. The technician was extremely nice and showed us that the tires were not fixable. I thought we needed 4, but they insisted we only needed 2. Very honest folks!!!

Stopped by the shop on a short notice to get a oil change alignment and have my car checked overall. Nick was extremely helpful and made sure all my questions were answered and knew exactly what was going on with my car as soon as the mechanics had given him information. Mechanics were very nice and helpful explaining all the small things they found and gave good recommendations for future work. Definitely will be back couldn’t beat the price and the helpfulness of the employees.

This place is the best! I first started coming here because of a flat tire, Nick, was just simply awesome. I didnt want to spend a whole lot of money, and he worked with me to get me what a needed at a reasonable price. I just moved to the area and had been looking for a good knowledgeable service shop that doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for repairs like the dealers do. I brought my car in to Midas and from the very first dealing with Nick I knew I could trust him. Both Jesus and Chris are very knowledgeable mechanics who do the job right the first time. Since then I have brought all my cars in without hesitation, knowing they will do whatever needs to be done the right way.

Very nice, very efficient, very affordable. Most importantly, they did not take advantage of me because I was a female. They brought me in the shop, showed and explained what was going on, and even spoke with my husband whom was at work. They said an hour and it was less than an hour. Far different from the service I have had at other Midas stores. Thank you Jesus and Rick.

Great experience overall. I went to get all my brakes and rotors replaced, an oil change done, as well as an alignment. They found a nail in my tire and repaired it, found that the serpentine belt was cracked and replaced it, and also found that the oil pan gasket was shot and replaced that as well. These were issues that Im really glad to know about and get fixed, not the usual lube place upsells like cabin filters and flushes. The manager was very communicative throughout, calling to give me detailed information, cost and to get my consent. I looked up the cost information and it was consistently very reasonable. They were also very flexible with using my parts and pricing the job accordingly. Ive been to places where they scowl when you show up with your own parts, but there was none of that here. The car was also ready the same day as promised.This place is seemingly a hidden gem among franchise auto shops and I highly recommend them. I expect some things to inevitably change over the years as they get busier based on all these glowing reviews, but I hope they hold on to the work ethic. Ill be taking my other car there soon.

The staff at this facility is courteous and professional. Especially the Manager Nick. While waiting for a brake job he occupied the time with great conversation and his congenial nature. Several times he checked the progress of the repair and kept me updated on the time to completion.

Extremely honest mechanics! Everytime we need immediate assistance Nick makes sure his guys handle the job. They are very friendly, helpful, and always find a way to ensure that we get the service we need without the added inflation in price. They do not waste time thinking about what the problem might be, they work diligently to fix the actual problem instead of playing a guessing game and charging for unnecessary services. Highly recommended!I had an emergency issue with my muffler a couple of months ago and brought my car here since it was close by. Nick, the manager, had it evaluated and gave me a great price on a new muffler. It was installed immediately after the part was received. While I waited for the part to be delivered, the technicians also inspected other aspects of the car and showed me areas that needed attention. The best part is that they were absolutely up front with me. They told me what I should think about getting taken care of soon, and things that could be done at a later date. No upsell, no pressure at all to get the additional work done. It was refreshing to encounter people who care about what they do, and the welfare of their customers.Im back at this location in the waiting area right now with another issue to be addressed, even though its a 20 mile drive from my home, and once again, I have been given the same respectful attention. I would highly recommend this location, and although I hope I dont need their help often, when I do Ill be back to see Nick and his crew.

These guys are nothing short of wonderful human beings. Technician Chris took me back to my job so we could have our car repaired. Very nice man to talk with. Man behind the desk, was even nicer. We could not afford everything that needed to be done, but, he went out of his way to get us the BEST prices on badly needed tires. He even installed one at no charge!!!! What more can I say?

Im very pleased with the experience I had at Midas North Plainfield. The entire team was outstanding from start to finish. Nick (manager) did everything he could to accommodate me and Zeus (mechanic) did an amazing job on a true-dual exhaust conversion. Price was reasonable and turnaround was less than one day.. cant beat that.

Exceptional. They identified an issue with my brakes that was covered by the dealer on a recall. Not known to me, my 2012 Ford Edge had a recall for the brake booster. The man behind the desk, printed the recall, and called the dealer while I was there to make sure my car was one of the vehicles elegible for the repair! IT WAS. Who else does that? Believe the reviews on here, these folks are good.

I got a an amazing quote on getting new brake pads and rotors. It was $200 less from a nearby Jiffy Lube. Nick was very helpful and had amazing customer service. I will definitely come back here again!

After getting the run around at another repair facility, that shall stay un named, everyone here was so very nice to deal with. I was shown everything on my car that they saw, and they prioritized my biggest safety concerns as well. The repair was not an multi hour process either, as I had my children to pick up. I had been having difficulties finding a good mechanic in the area for years. I had tried several, including local dealers, and most were meh to absolutely terrible. These guys were just great. They were fast, courteous, reasonably priced and knowledgeable. They isolated and fixed a problem on my truck that others had misdiagnosed for some time. Really top notch. Highly, highly recommend.

Took my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado to another shop. After 3.5 hours all they could do was fix a leak in my tire they said they couldnt do an alignment because the truck was big. Too tall and too long. Called around and this Midas and the dealership were the only places that would take my truck. Nick at the front and the mechanic Jesus took care of my truck as I do and being a mechanic myself I dont just trust anyone with my truck when I dont have the equipment to do it myself. I very pleased to also not pay dealership prices. Thank you guys, I will recommend this Midas to everyone I know.

Brakes on my sons Ford F 250 at more than half off then the dealer wanted. Less headache and they got it done very quickly for me as well. Man behind the desk explained everything to myself and my son. Their brake pads come with A lifetime warranty as well. Our previous visit to the dealer where we bought the car, was not a good one.
