They have hundreds of used discs. I found the one that I was looking for. I paid $13 for it after tax. Some brand new ones- $15. Alot of the discs are missing the stamp and have no weight labeled. You have to pick thru All of them to find what you want. Mostly distance drivers. Have fun!

I wish I could give 4 & 1/2 stars. That would be more accurate. The sales person I dealt with was very helpful and knowledgeable. I simply needed an inexpensive used baseball glove for my 6 year old boy to play in his rec league and a bat. As any sales person is going to do, they tried to initially sell me a used but almost new glove. Unfortunately, that one was priced the exact same as a new glove. (I had one waiting in my online Target cart, so I knew for sure the price). HOWEVER, when I explained that I was looking for a cheap glove that would still work well (my son keeps loosing his gloves 😖) they actively helped me find a glove that would work, fit, and meet my price requirements.They did not have any used bats in the size my son needed and they were selling new bats for 50.00 to 70.00. They were honest about not having used bats available. Summary: know the prices for new equalivant items before you go. They are still VERY helpful. Be an informed shopper and you will have a pretty good chance of walking away satisfied.

This place is okay and they have a lot of nice things and most are gently used. The prices are still a little too high for my blood, but you probably will find what you are looking for here. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, but I feel you can do the same thing while going online.

Picked over, prices are like that of new items, trade ins are like Gamestop. They will give you $5 and resell for $50. Just not worth the effort to save a nominal amount.

Cleaned out the sports gear and took it here. Got a fair value for it and was happy when I left.

High prices when it comes to dumbbells. Bought a single 40 pound weight for $87. Substantially less everywhere else I looked after the fact.

Store needs to get organized. Customers would buy more if it was easier to find. Have a blowout sale for one week. They make it friendly to shop.

Normally I like this place and its a pretty good concept. Today my wife went in for weights and the guy working there acted like it personally offended him when she asked if they had them and didnt. Oh I guess we dont have what you want, do we now? I guess youll just have to go some where else that was her only interaction with them. Her not buying weights isnt affecting his paycheck.

They have a large volume of products with prices that are unbeatable! You have to understand most products are used and you have to be willing to look through the large quantities that are there.

Play it again sells and buys gently used sporting equipment. I think its a franchise, so each location may be run by different owners/managers. I prefer the location in North Olmsted because of selection and price. The stores are generally clean, and the young staff has been consistently friendly and helpful. The prices are fair. The selection is good, but you may want to call ahead for specialty items or at change of seasons. Its especially good for expensive items, such as snow skiing, for kids who are growing and need bigger boots, poles, and skis for example. The have pretty much every major sport as well as exercise equipment. Try play it again before you pay full retail. I havent had any problems with anything we purchased there.

Small shop with a great selection of used sports gear, but at times things look a bit picked over and disorganized.Ive never bought new equipment there because the selection and pricing isnt as great as other sporting goods stores. Obviously, their competitive differentiator is used gear, and Ive saved hundreds there over the years.If you want to sell them your used gear, expect to get 20% - 30% of its retail value depending on condition, demand, etc. Not great, but theyre in business to make money, and its better than your old gear sitting around and collecting dust.

Every time I come in these guys really take care of me. The service is excellent. I have worked retail In management for over 15 years and this store is well run. If you are in need of gear check this place out.

Staff is always extremely helpful and this visit was no exception. Found hockey skates and other equipment for both sons and figure skates for my wife, all at a tremendous price. Received great trade in for older, non fitting skates and other equipment. Customer service matters and Play it Again Sports in North Olmstead is always one of the best. It’s a fun place to shop.

UPDATE 7-1-2018UNDER new ownership went in a week ago and things are much better. The new owner was there and he took his time with us to make sure we got the equipment my kids needed. He was excellent! Just wanted to update to reflect a solid mom and pop establishment. WAY better than big box sports stores. They also have an impressive selection of all kinds of gear, including Lacrosse, which can be difficult to find. Still dropped one star for previous issues there (see below).ORIGINAL REVIEWHave been going here for years, overall a great store except the last time I was there. I was looking for bulk items of a specific type. I called ahead and was told they had them. When I got there, they didnt have the items I asked about, I felt a bit misled by the employee. When I called him back after I left to let him know about it, I was met with disrespect and promptly hung up on. Not very good treatment of a customer that had to drive 20 minutes only to find they were misled just to get them into the store.

My girlfriend needed some cleats for our kickball league and other random summer sports. Got a very lightly used pair of cleats for $10. We also bought a really nice soccer ball for $6. They girl there was very nice and joked around with us. She also pointed out some good deals to us like the soccer ball. Definitely recommend for cheap cleats!

I just had the best time shopping for my hockey gear at Play It Again Sports in North Olmsted! I just started learning to skate so I can play hockey with my children and I needed full gear for stick n puck sessions at the rink and drop in shinny games. Dan and Jeanette were very helpful and friendly and Dan helped me pick out the right size and fit for shin guards, helmet, elbow pads and I even picked out a stick! Definitely would recommend this place. Merry Christmas to me!

Play it again has so many deals on their new and gently used items. I highly recommend using them for your league uniforms and gear.

This is a good place to find a variety of Sporting Goods equipment but some of the pricing is almost as much as you would pay for the brand new item in the regular store. So as much as it is a convenient stop to look for used sporting goods you really need to keep an eye on what fair market Price is because I had a few items that were certainly more expensive used than the actual item should have been. Aside from that, the amount of inventory is pretty good and the staff is knowledgeable on the different equipment available and are able to steer you in the direction of your needs.

This place is what it says it is. Used sport equipment. The expectation is that you know what you need when you brought your stuff in to replace it. If you don’t fit that profile, YOU need to either find out ahead of time, or find out how to fill the need. The folks who work here are not Jacks of all trades. Do not expect them to know what you need. They might, or someone on staff might, but the burden is on you. If you want a mitt or bat for a child, either know what the child needs(catcher, infield or outfield glove?) or ask the child’s coach before going in. And if you go on a Saturday, expect to wait for help. It’s a small and PACKED store. If you take more than one child, expect issues if you let them go on their own. It’s not YOUR house, it’s someone else’s store. The guy looking for a new bat shouldn’t have to worry about getting clocked in the head by a kid throwing baseballs indoors!

Great prices and helpful employees

The staff at the North Olmsted location is embarrassingly misinformed. I took an ASA Worth Legit men’s slow pitch softball bat to sell, and the associate who barely looked 18 explained to me that they only take dual stamped softball bats. For those familiar, dual stamped bats are relatively uncommon. I then took a look at what type of bats they had in stock, and discovered half of their bats are ASA only, the exact sanction I was trying to sell. The kid clearly had no idea what he was talking about. I ended up selling it online for double what they would’ve given me anyway. Their loss. I will never EVER go to this store again, they need to start hiring people who have a clue.

Place was awesome quality goods just have to make sure you deal with the right people some of the employees are fresh out of high school and dont know the difference between a softball glove or a baseball glove but great store great products would go back any time

Store is very crowded and a bit hard to navigate. Wanted to buy 2 mitts for my Grandson and looked for 25 minutes with no help. Two boys at computers wouldnt even look up. I walked up to ask when they were available .. would one come to help & was told someone would come. They both continued to check out & talk to customers just coming in. Neither bothered to take 5 minutes to help me select mitts and baseballs. After another substantial wait, the 3 of us Ieft. Went to Dicks at the mall & made a substantial purchase. So disappointing.

If you need good used sports equipment for a very reasonable price this is the place to go.

I have not been here in years.... They have an amazing selection of equipment and supplies for just about every sport! The only downfall is the store is very small and its pretty cramped.. I would just ask the employees for what you are looking for as they know better than me!!

From having years of great customer service, called to ask about an item today, the guy answering the phone was rude, short and told me to come look for the size myself because they were short staffed. When I said I just wanted to make sure that they had a size before I drove 40 minutes, he said, it is what it is and hung up the phone. After years of earning my business (used to live much closer), one phone call just lost mine and anyone else that will ever ask me about your store or options. Service is everything and you just did a disservice to your customer base.

At first we a had a good experience but the. After finding out we got the wrong hockey stick (righty not a lefty) we went to exchange it they said that it’s know good we never used it it was the same as we got it that’s was 2 days ago for a place that buys used goods there not very friendly to when you bring stuff in. Called ahead of time to see of they would buy our olympic size weight bench and weights. They said yes, we drove 30 mins to get there for them to turn us away. They said they already had to many benches at the store.

Offensive staff. Bad return policy. Buy at your own risk! Purchased a brand new 29 inch bat for my son 26 days ago at the advice of staff at Play It Again Sports. The older man who helped us did not provide accurate information and we later learned he needed a 31 inch. I was told we could exchange it for a longer bat but they didn’t have the exact same bat. I offered to buy a more expensive bat but they would not let me exchange it at all saying you only get 2 weeks. When I questioned their return policy and said it is not good business the older man became very offensive. He said, “what, you don’t speak English”. I said I do fine and will let others know and he said “good why don’t you call channel 5 news”. Can’t believe someone runs a business this way in today’s age. Just found same bat on Amazon for 25% cheaper shipped for free. Not worth it to buy from Play It Again!
