I have been on the fence about working out at home (I used to) versus going to the gym. I finally decided to pull the trigger on some home equipment the other day. Meghann was super helpful in the decisions process, putting up with many questions. She helped me decided the best treadmill for my preference and budget. She, no anyone else, was pushy about the sales process. The day I showed up and purchased a treadmill, a yoga mat, and some free weights, Dave was who I dealt with. An equally pleasant experience! Everything I wanted was in stock, which always makes me happy, especially since I often hear, “sorry, you’ll have to order this online.” I opted, for home delivery, so I don’t have the treadmill yet, but I purchased a Precor TRM 233 and was already super impressed with the quality just by the one in the showroom. In a world of cheap materials and construction, it’s such a relief to find a store where you can count on quality merchandise and quality customer service!

We have recently purchased this Cardio Strider CS3. My wife and I needed a machine that we could both use and a treadmill just wasn’t cutting it. Luckily for us we found Health & Fitness Center and most especially Dave Roche. Dave showed me several machines but nothing made sense till we saw the CS3. Dave spent time explaining the features and benefits and most especially how it would meet our individual needs. Several days after the CS3 was delivered my wife had concerns that this machine may not be right for her. Dave thought that we may had the adjustments wrong so he suggested that we come in or he could even come to our house, WOW who does that anymore! Well Dave was correct he worked on the settings with us and now it’s perfect for her. We would highly recommend Health & Fitness Center to anyone that’s serious about their fitness.Thanks Dave

Not a big fan. Will likely not return. The staff was friendly and seemed knowledgeable but felt more like a used car salesman. He did not really answer my questions. He approached as soon as set foot in the store, I told him I was a runner and he then immediately started telling me what I needed and why he wouldnt sell me anything else other than a very (in my opinion) overpriced treadmill because that was the best for runners. I understand he wanted to make a sale but after 10min of listening to him ramble and not let me look past the most expensive treadmill in the store or ask what I was actually looking for I could not wait to get out of there! I didnt even look at the ellipticals which I was also interested in. As soon as I could get a word in I thanked him and headed for the door. He also had is mask down below his chin which made me very uncomfortable.

Great sales and service. Honest pricing, I checked around for a row machine many different places had it on back order, they had it in stock for the online price from the manufacturer. I saw many other people trying to sell the same thing on eBay for three or four hundred dollars more.

This place is good. I went there for one product. I was greeted and has my questions answered in a very thorough way. I was just doing so I didnt buy anything. However, I did look around. I could see everything I would want... plus more. I would recommend you at least visit this place to learn. Youll definitely find what you want.

I have been dealing with Dave and Dave for a few years now. Most recently got an outstanding elliptical machine from them. In fact, Dave R. went out of his way to personally secure a unit for me that he had his eye on! Bought an elliptical, FT2 home gym and mats for our floor for our home exercise room from Health and Wellness Fitness Store in North Olmsted.We worked with Meghann who was able to answer all of the questions my wife and I had about the equipment to assist us in making the right decision on the equipment we were looking for. She is very knowledgeable on all the products.We took advantage of the home delivery and set up as I doubt this is something we could have assembled on our own.We have enjoyed the equipment we purchased and feel we made the correct investment for our health and well being.

Excellent customer service with no high pressure sales tactics. Initially we went in looking for a stationary bike for therapy use after surgery. Dave Roche was our point of contact, and and very knowledgeable of the products. We never felt pressured to buy, but he provided good information in order to make a decision that would best suit our needs. Delivery was fast and the team was super friendly and helpful. Service after the sale has been stellar; email response to questions have been answered in a timely fashion. We have since purchased a second piece of equipment. We would definitely recommend this company, and Dave specifically, when considering a future purchase.

I am not typically one to write reviews, however, wanted to share my experience with Dave and his team at Health Fitness Equipment Center. In general these days, few companies are able to offer high quality service and still beat the prices of online competition. Somehow, Health and Fitness Equipment Center does just that. I spent 3 years renovating my basement to have the home gym I have been dreaming of for decades, and once I was finished with the room, I wanted the equipment done right. I spoke to dozens of companies, and looked at more equipment websites than you can imagine. I know price points of multiple brands of equipment from nearly everyone out there. Not only was Dave the most competitive with the pricing of the equipment that I wanted, but I felt like I was being treated as a VIP customer the whole way through from start to finish. He made suggestions that took my home gym to a higher level than I had imagined. His whole team/crew came and delivered, assembled, and then had the courtesy to move the heavy pieces to different locations in the room to maximize the space and efficiency of the overall gym. They were all extremely professional in my home which was also important to me. I couldnt be happier with it! There is not adequate space in this box to write all the things I could say here, but I cant imagine any reason someone would look elsewhere when it comes to purchasing fitness equipment, supplies, or other related items. If there was ever a company deserving of 5 stars, this is it! I recommend this company without hesitation!

I recently purchased my second treadmill, and the service was fabulous! Meghann was super helpful as I was sorting out which treadmill to purchase. Im a middle-aged 12,000 steps a day walker, and Im here to say theres a place for us at this store! No judgement if youre not training for a marathon - just great service wherever your health and fitness needs are!

Five Stars Are Not EnoughI bought a True Treadmill from these guys back in 1992. Over the years that thing was moved and used a lot. It was an awesome treadmill. I never had to have it serviced. Likewise, Health and Fitness Equipment was an awesome company. It just died on me in June. I went back to Health and Fitness Equipment and received the same superior product offerings and service. We bought a Precor this time and it offers just the right amount of technology for our needs with a maintenance free belt and shock absorption for support as we run. They delivered it today and I couldnt be happier. Dominic and Rob came out and they were super great guys - efficient, fast, clean and knew everything about the mechanics and technology on the treadmill. They answered all my questions even before I asked them. Our sales rep Meghann was terrific too. I even got to speak to the president of the company, Dave, who, no surprise was terrific. I cant say enough about how great it was to deal with them.

I recently worked with several professionals at their North Olmsted store for a purchase and they were very attentive with great follow up. Dave, one of their business owners, was terrific to deal with and very fair when an issue arose. My wife was having leg and back problems sitting at the desk working all day. Stopped to see Dave about what type of office chair he suggested. He suggested the Varier Move Stool. Amazing product. Adjustable and comfortable. Solved her problems in one day. I highly recommend that if you have to sit all day you stop by and try out the this great product! Dave and I had hard time getting my wife off it because it is so comfortable and supportive!

The best place in northern Ohio to obtain fitness equipment. From hand weights to treadmills to the full rang inbetween, they have it all. Not only do they have it, they have a great deal of knowledge as to how to use and improve when exercising with the equipment.They are honest, knowledgeable, and attentive. They take the time to make sure your needs are met, rather than, like the big stores that just push product out the door. A Friendly atmosphere where they take the time with each customer to make sure of your satisfaction. Fantastic selection of all kinds. From treadmills to squat racks, dumbbells, and everything else that you can think of. They wont sell you short, they offer military discount and they wont try to sell you something that they know doesnt work very well. Great business and people. Will return again soon.

I have a small home gym and knew that I wanted to add a a Lat Pulldown machine and a Leg Extension/ curl machine. When I walked into the store, I never expected it to be so easy. I was immediately greeted by the president, Dave. I explained to him what I was looking for and he immediately pulled up several options on a computer. He helped me select a Lat Pulldown and Leg Extension/curl machine. Both machines are excellent and fit perfectly into my gym. I can’t imagine that the process could’ve been any better and I’m very thankful that Dave was so helpful
