Always A++++ ! Great Northern is the best!I always get my jewelry inspected every 6 months. I ran into George New Years at Dillards and said he a piece of mine. Went in a few days later and asked about no one knew a thing. I was in yesterday 10/22 George was there and pulled out of his drawer 2 years later. Omg! Always have a good realtionship with youre sales people.If getting anything ask for John, George & Dianne!I wouldnt go anywhere else!!!!
I came in to purchase a promise ring for my girlfriend. Staff was friendly, and the process was smooth. During my visit the guy I was dealing with recommended a payment plan and to enroll in the Jared Gold Card. I specifically told him no. And that I wanted to pay for the ring up front. He went on to take specific information (phone number, address, dob, social). I thought it was regular procedure and part of the process. Come to find out a week later i receive a letter in the mail saying “thank you for enrolling with Jared credit card”. This man took my information and enrolled me in the credit card program without my consent. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed. Hate for the rest of the staff to have to read this, because they were amazing. But that one particular gentleman is a fraud.
The experience was wonderful! Everyone was caring, friendly and knowledgeable. From the time we entered the door until the time we left was magical. The staff treated each other like family. Refreshing! He went to Jared and I have the most gorgeous Diamond ring to prove it!
Please for the love of God keep any and all receipts for anything purchased or service through this company. Mysteriously info keeps not appearing in the computer for extended warranties that were purchased and its a nightmare trying to get it figured out and finally they find it and tell me its my fault for not producing a receipt. They claim the computer loses things on a regular basis.
I have to start with Tom and Hollie. We live in willoughby and our location was closed a few years ago making this the closest. We experienced some time consuming issues with repairs on my husbands ring. We contacted Jared of north Olmsted and Tom set an appointment to make some corrections that had been missed by home office. From the first time speaking with Tom and Hollie they both were genuinely sympathetic to our horrific ordeal. They both went above and beyond to ensure the remainder of our issues were addressed promptly and correctly. Their genuine kindness and concern over our experience helped us regain confidence in Jared. Hollie and Tom will always be our first choice in shopping with Jared.
I would not give any star, if it would allow. I purchased a stone for my wedding set and I wish I never did. They have had to work on it 3 times and its still not right. They gave me a cheap head they putter diamond in thats yellow instead of being dipped, its thick and takes away from my ring. Its not thin and nice that shows the diamond, it doesnt appear to be even gold. Sad that I let them ruin my wedding set

This may be the only place in the world right now, in the middle of this Covid-19 pandemic, where you can walk in and Not feel stressed, or tense. Great Northern Jareds is literally the only place of business I have patronized during the pandemic craziness that has an upbeat, welcoming environment, and a team that actually shows consideration. The staff was VERY attentive. I was actually excited to go there, comfortable during the whole process while there, and very happy when I left. If you must buy jewelry in a pandemic, you must go to Jareds!Holly is knowledgeable, accommodating, and intuitively picks out the best pieces that suit you. She even went the extra mile and cleaned/checked the jewelry we came in wearing. Top notch team, gemstones & timepieces. A great selection of brands and designs. No fuss, no bull, and no pressure. Just simply, the best! :) we will be back for repairs/maintenance for our other jewelry!

This is an extremely clean store to shop at during the pandemic! They did a fantastic job with resizing my fiancé’s ring he inherited from his deceased grandfather. They made it look brand new and really did justice to his grandpa, and now he can wear his legacy! My engagement ring is also from here and we ordered my wedding band today! Amazing quality rings! I also love that it only takes two days to get sized, cleaned, and ordered. Also, Holly and Amy were very kind and helpful to us.I did however take off two stars because we did have an encounter that was absolutely inappropriate and upsetting. The African American man, I believe he said his name was George, who only works the weekends, was very rude to us. I asked to see wedding bands within a certain price range and he said, “So let me ask you something, why would you ask me that? You’ll never find what you want for that price.” I’m sorry, but I didn’t have $1300-$7000+ to shell on a simple wedding band during a pandemic, and yes sir, I asked you that because you aren’t the one paying for it. We wanted to see wedding bands under $500, and I said preferably with diamonds but we mainly just wanted to see our options - that’s it, no crazy requests, just wanted options. Instead, he continually showed rings out of our budget and specifically tried to sell us a ring over $1300 and offered to take off $200, and said, “I’m done dancing around numbers. I can take $200 off but that’s it. Either buy it or if that’s not doable, you’ll just have to keep looking elsewhere,” and chuckled. Mind you, I never asked if he could take money off. He just took it upon himself to and made me feel bad about it. I declined and he started getting angry with us. He made us feel bad for not being able to afford one over a grand. I know he wants to make sales and that’s his job, but when you don’t respect a customer’s budget and make them feel bad or push them to buy something out of their range and/or what they don’t want, that’s disrespectful. That’s not sales. I get times are hard and you need a commission check, but the way he went about it was inappropriate. We left upset, and went back a few days later and ended up finding the PERFECT band with Amy within our budget! She was amazing. Not pushy at all, and immediately showed us multiple rings within a budget that the other man didn’t show because he wanted a bigger commission check. She showed us multiple affordable rings the other man never showed us, and I got my 14K white gold Diamond band.Thus, you have to find the right sales representative, which as a consumer, you should have all sales representatives RESPECTFUL. Not just some of the team - all of the team. We will be back to see Amy.

Told us they could not resize my ring because it was not purchased from there- kind of odd because we called ahead and asked if they resized rings that are not purchased from there and they said yes. Oh well, it is what it is if that’s their policy. But it felt as if they belittled where we got the ring from (Brilliant Earth) and what type of diamond it is (lab-made). Seems like they accept rings on a case by case basis and it would have been helpful if they were able to ask us more info and told us no over the phone. Multiple employees there were condescending. One scolded me for cracking my knuckles and making my knuckles bigger lol. Just very off-putting and unprofessional. Hope this helps if someone got their ring from the same place and didn’t know that these large jewelry stores likely won’t work on them.

You’re among friends at this Jared’s. They treat you more like a person and a friend than a customer. The jewelry selection is top shelf as is the service/repair center. The customer service people know their products thoroughly and really try to help me rather than just make a sale. I always leave this store happy and never ever feeling like I got hustled.

Horrible horrible service, I ordered a ring in April 12,2020 online. Today is June 23,2020. First off the online site never said that the place who would ship the merchandise out was closed, so when I called April 29, 2020 that’s when I found out the place was closed and wouldn’t be open until June 4,2020 so I called back on that day and was told the date was pushed back until June9,3020. I called on that day and the representative said that the company was back open and that they had been corresponding with Jared and said they were preparing to send out April and May orders, so I called today and spoke with a manager who then tells me that it wouldn’t be open until July 15,2020. I just hung up out of frustration. I called back to tell them to refund my money and at this point been on hold for 1hour 15 minutes and on top of all of this the ring that I ordered can’t be bought in store it’s an online item only. Terrible service shame on the whole company. Being on hold is also annoying because the recording keep saying how Jared is here for you. As I’m typing this they pick up and I still have to wait approximately 2 weeks for a refund.
Worst customer service. There is this bearded guy who is very rude, no manners with customer, narcissistic personality. No wonder why the store is empty most of the time. Kay jewelers and Diamond direct are way beyond nice in terms of customer service and choices for jewels
I dealt with John Murray on a custome design. It ended up being way more elaborate than I expected but I am thrilled and what we designed. To think I almost purchased a stock ring from a jeweler. Definitely glad I stopped in and I cannot wait to see the finished product!

Firstly, I had the worst customer service ever! I had to wait for about 25-35 minutes standing before someone finally attended to me. biggest issue I had with them was getting the sizing of my engagement ring wrong. It was initially an 8 and it had to be reduced to a 6.5. They did not inform me that the piece that would be cut off from the ring would not be returned to me, but would be kept for themselves. I have never heard of that before and if I had known I would never have patronized their services. Also, they did not get the sizing of the ring right the second time because now it was too tight. So I had to go back there on two different occasions. To my biggest surprise, the band on my engagement ring had been drastically reduced and looks soo thin! I asked why this was so, and all they could tell me was something about what I paid to get the resizing done and how they usually keep the gold shavings from my ring for themselves. Highly disappointed! I guess because I didn’t purchase the ring from their store, hence I was treated nonchalantly. They probably treat other people who buy their products nicer.Anyways, after my roommate had to go to the store and asked to speak with the manager. She made the complaints to the manager and I was told to come back for them to have the ring looked at. Well I’m glad to say, the manager was nice, my ring got fixed to the right size and a new gold was added to it. Also, in addition, I got the piece that was taken off the ring and it was returned to me. I am now pleased with the results.
Jareds did an amazing job with my engagement ring this afternoon.They fixed a loose stone in just a couple of hours. They also cleaned my ring so well that it looked brand new and like it had never even been worn before. Very pleased with the friendly customer service. Thank you!!!
Do no trust these guys!!!! My fiance took a diamond ring in to check the authenticity. We bought it online from a reputable jeweler. Jareds told here it was sapphire and tried to talk her into leaving it right away so they could replace it with diamonds.We took it to Kays and another local jeweler to find out they lied to her. The ring was a true diamond ring. They are crooks!!! Dont trust.
Danyelle and Sandi were fantastic! They helped us design my wedding band and stayed involved in the process from beginning to end. Danyelle went above and beyond to fix an issue that came up during the mold process and we got exactly the ring we had in mind! Fantastic customer service by all the staff!

The people there is always so kind and willing to help in a very timely manner. Take my jewelry there every 6 months for maintenance and keeps it clean and tighten up the jewelry if anything is loose. The team there gets every bit of 5 stars!

I had the pleasure of visiting the Jared location in North Olmsted. I met a sales rep.named Kaitlin and she was very friendly and patient with me as I shopped for the perfect birthday gift for my mother’s upcoming birthday. Kaitlin offered suggestions and never made me feel rushed with making my final decisions. While shopping the store manager came over to me and introduced herself and offered me a beverage while I was shopping. I also don’t want to forget that even the security guard at the door was very friendly and welcoming. I had one of the best first time visits at the Jared store in North Olmsted and I look forwArd to returning soon and receiving the A-1 service that I received on my first visit. The service I received made it well worth my drive. Kudos to a team that really roll out the red carpet for a first time visitor.

Went in to get my 6 month inspection. The lady who helped me was not all that friendly. Wanted to get my ring resized also, and wasnt sure what size i should go with. She did not really give me any sort of opinion or input on what I should do. Probably wont go back.

Its sad I used to love this store I go out of my way, an hour drive to shop there, but after todays visit dont know if I will come back. I have spent a lot over the years and I felt like it didnt make a difference. I am sorry when buying jewelry it is a big expense so I expect my sales person to bend over backwards. I am disappointed. The problem was I was trying to put together a mothers day Pandora bracelet all I needed to make this perfect was one charm and the store ran out and they couldnt order it anymore. I asked them if they could call around (the sales person didnt even offer to call and seemed irritated I asked) she found it in a store an hour away. I was willing to drive no problem. The other store wanted to know what time tomorrow i would be there and i asked if i could pick it up Saturday due to working late. They said no, ok I asked well what if I paid for it over the phone they said no. Its less then a $50 charm but it is what I needed ( the charm was March birth stone and they didnt have any other options) to make my bracelet for mom who lost a son my brother and few months back. Your tell me they couldnt hold it?

My fiance and i had been going there for all of our jewerly needs but as time went on the customer service was horrible. today we went in to give it one last try..it was about 4:00-4:30 and the store was busy but there were at 2 people who were not we walked around that store for 30 minutes and NO ONE said one word to us..I said lets go because apparently our money is not wanted..I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!

When I dropped off my ring a few months back, I stood by the counter for 15 mins while 2 associates socialized. One of them finally asked if I had been helped and then assisted me.When I went to pickup my ring last week, I had a much better experience. TJ and Diane provided excellent customer service. TJ immediately asked if I wanted any water or hot chocolate. There was a small play room for my boys to play in which made it easier for me to talk to the associates about my repair. They were able to meet my needs and showed they care about their customers.
I had my 6mth Inspection/ Cleaning and as usual I was greeted with kindness and professionalism!!

We always had great experiences at Jared and, although we had a bump in the road a couple of months back (charges for insurance we did not want), they did promptly make it right for us. We remain loyal customers thanks to TJs wonderful attention to this matter.

The staff at Jared North Olmsted is truly AMAZING!I just completed the process of creating a custom wedding band with T.J Fourdyce and it is the most beautiful piece of jewelry Ive ever seen!!! T.J explained everything to me from price options to how the ring gets made and all the different steps and places my engagement ring would go to before it returned to the store and the mold got sent to the shop. Not only did he keep me involved in every step of the process but he has style! Together T.J, my fiancé and I were able to create a piece I will cherish forever
TJ helped me with several items, but most memorably was my custom made anniversary bands. Previously i have purchased jewelry through jareds with great customer service, however he really is the reason i keep coming to the store. High quality jewelry but beyond exceotional customer service because of TJ.
I have been waiting almost two months for watch band links. I gave all the case information for a Movado Bold that I received for my birthday, no call and no links, not even an update.Customer service non existent.
Very very poor experience. Took ring for repair. Rather than replacing entire diamond prongs they only replaced one, i took it back. Rather than make up for a bad experience by maybe not charging entire cost they did. Had they done something to appease my dissatisfaction I wouldnt be giving this review Should have listened to my husband and gone to a real jeweler.
