I am really impressed with Maria and her crew from Miami Floor and Design. From the moment I first called her, she was extremely responsive, helpful and accommodating. Our kitchen countertops were installed in one day and the working crew were very friendly and professional. Maria made sure I was happy with the end result and I am extremely happy and satisfied. Hired Mary with Miami floor and Design as a GC. Horrible Experience. She installed incorrect materials, installed improperly and caused significant damage to our luxury condo. She subcontracts out all work and does not oversee job. Damaged marble walls but screwing into them and even used wood brackets in a wet shower. Measured and installed wrong size kitchen counter tops then tried to fix it with different materials that did not match. Extremely unprofessional and unskilled . STAY AWAY FROM THIS SO CALLED GC

I got my hardwood floors done with this company. I would give them 6 stars if I could, they not only helped me with the design of the space, but also helped negotiate with the manufacturer directly and got us a price lower than all of the internet flooring companies (Floor and Decor, Roberts carpet, etc). The installers showed up in time, did the installation in about two days (3,000 sqft) and cleaned the space and disposed of the garbage each day. They were careful and did not stain my walls. Would definitely hire them again.

I hired Miami Floor and Design to redo my kitchen. They did an excellent job. No request was too outlandish. The owner is very hands-on, held my hand during tough moments and advised me about pluses and minuses in my kitchen choices. She has a good sense of humor, self-deprecates and laughed appreciatively at my errors. Her employees work very diligently, are honest, reliable and bend over backwards to please.I added things as the work progressed and should have asked how much extra they would cost. My bad. The company threw in a lot of freebies.I wish I would have known about them when I had redone the rest of my apartment.

I loved visiting this store, enormous selection in a boutique setting. Wonderful customer service. Mary insisted on giving me as many samples as I could possibly lift and carry! After finally making a decision it was a seemless experience. To begin with her pricing was hands down the best of all the tile stores we visited( and there were many) to the very prompt delivery. Great customer service.

My husband and I had been renovating an entire older house in Plantation. Needless to say there are hundreds of floor and design stores and some upwards of 100,000 square feet. When my husband told me he stopped into a small store that had as many alternatives as in the huge stores we’d been to but of much higher quality and didn’t seem to be that different in price. He was also impressed with the owner, Mary. He said she knew her inventory, was very helpful, and had such a lovely personality. A week later I happened to be in the area and stopped in. Besides finding an amazing porcelain tile that we didn’t even know we were looking for 42 x 42 in a mud set, barely noticeable grout Mary lent us so many alternatives to compare. The biggest plus was the installers were employees or contractors of Miami Tile. All our payments and contracts were with Mary which was helpful because we expanded the scope of the job twice. We never had to have more money on deposit than services rendered (I don’t believe). She is a business woman of style and grace, warm and has customer service unmatchable. We were on a short time fuse and they started 2000 square feet of tiling the week after contract and were done proficiently and professionally.LoriPlantation
