Had the bologna breakfast sandwich and biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Best way to describe the food was blah. It wasnt awful but me and my wife both said we could make it better at home. Sausage while I appreciate was fresh made into a patty was overcooked and so was the biscuit. Gravy tasted like it was out of a packet. Bologna sandwich was kind of flavorless. We went in a Saturday morning and it almost took a half hour to get the food after we ordered, so they are not quick. Got the yabba dabba do and London fog coffee and those were good, but again it took 15 minutes after we ordered to get the and they were finished before we ever got the food. We decided that we would go back for the coffee again but not the food. Coffee was a 4 star and food was a 2 star meal, so I say it averages out to 3 stars. The whole experience wasnt worth the 30+ dollars we spent.

Passing through LR, AR and found this place for breakfast. Devoured my breakfast taco before realizing I should have taken a picture. It was, hands down, one the best breakfast tacos I have had. The pickled onions added a zing, the chorizo was not overly greasy, just a small bit of grease, it was not small yet it wasn’t massive (assembled it would fit in a Starbucks grande cup easily, just so you have a size comparison). My other half ate the everything bagel, with spinach, tomato, and avocado. His was gone quickly. We both drank their vanilla lattes. Not overly sweet like another previously mentioned coffee chain. Would go back for sure. The staff was kind, Shannon worked the register and she was on top of her game with the patrons. Now for the bad, I feel like their prices were a tad on the high side. All of the above was $32.00. HOWEVER, I accept that cost and chalk it up to great quality.

Seriously, best breakfast tacos I have ever had. I have gotten them 4 times over a period of several months and they are consistently wonderful. The taco shaped egg is ingenious, the ingredients are always fresh and well seasoned, and the red salsa that comes on the side is the perfect level of heat. I have added sausage and bacon and I cannot say which I prefer because both are delicious. I would post a picture but I have already eaten every bite. Keep it up Mugs...your taco game is strong.

A delightful throwback that you’ll love if you have pleasant memories of the ‘60s. Old bare brick walls, lots of wood, abstract art and not a speck of plastic in its comfy interior. A broad and delicious menu for breakfast and lunch with plenty of coffee and tea to choose from. You’ll enjoy huge omelettes, excellent sausage, egg and cheese biscuit tacos, burritos and pastries, all made to order as you wait.

So glad we decided to try this local spot (rather than stopping at Starbucks) on our way out of town! I had the Tiramisu Cold Brew and it. was. delicious! Guy who took my order was friendly and helpful. We didn’t sit down or order food, but if we hadn’t been anxious to get on the road I would have enjoyed lingering in the quiet, artistic atmosphere over one of their appetizing breakfast options. Good coffee and cool vibes!

I loved the friendly service and brightly lit space. Many cafes have a dark, warm atmosphere which is great. But sometimes sitting in a room well lit is what helps inspire productivity. This is also a great place to meet friends, work associates, and family for whatever reason. The food and beverages that Ive had were great. I tried one of their specialty coffee drinks on their menu and was not disappointed. It was a drink you wouldnt expect to find in Arkansas.

I deliver for BiteSquad. I waited in line 10 mins to tell them I was there to pickup an order. They told me it would be 5-10 mins. I waited patiently for 30 minutes, right in front of the young lady I told. I saw an order come up I thought could be mine and was making eye contact with her. She said nothing and placed a couple drinks by it. I had no drinks on my order so I assumed it wasnt mine. I watched people order, get their food and leave. So I stepped up, saw the name on the ticket(it was mine), and I told her. She said, Sir, please dont touch anything, we dont call these out because their pickups. I reminded her I told her I was here to get it 30 minutes ago. She was going to wait on the rest of the line and make me wait another 30 minutes. She got rude with me saying she never spoke to me(check the cameras then space cadet I spoke to you then stood 6 feet in front of you for the next 30 minutes), then another young lady pushed her aside and got rude with me as well. Continued to ask me for the name on the order, when I told them repeatedly, just to be a-holes to me.I had to drive across town to get there. Wait about 40 minutes, and leave empty handed, because entitled little girls cant just say, Im sorry sir, yes thats your order, it has been sitting here for some time, lets get you out of here so our customers food doesnt get cold. Will never deliver there again, eat there, and will tell everybody I know never to even try it.

I left a large tip at the register (when prompted) because I planned to eat in... turns out, the employees don’t make the slightest effort past putting your plates on a window ledge. As I was walking out, one of the employees rudely told me in passing that I should clean my own table... sure, I’ll get on that as soon as you return my service tip. What’s the point of accepting tips if the entire process is self service? Regardless, the employee didn’t have to make the comment. She couldn’t just take the two plates and set them in the bin herself? Now you know they aren’t actually cleaning/sanitizing their tables. This left a worse taste in my mouth than the food did- would not recommend.

I would say this is definitely one of the top coffee shops in town. The baristas are on point when it comes to making your brew of choice. Prices are about average for drinks but I will say the pour over is a steal. Ive only had breakfast items here and I can say they all are worth a try and Ive never been disappointed. Like other reviews you may read it can take a bit to get your order at certain times of the day but it will be worth it. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a true coffee shop and seating is plentiful. Definitely add this one to your to do list.

Id had my eye on trying this spot ever since arriving in Little Rock, and ultimately would say its ok. Had a little difficulty choosing between the pancakes (All you can eat for $6 on Saturday) and the breakfast burritio, and in a moment of indecision, went with the burrito. Go for the pancakes. The burrito was definitely good, but also pretty small... although my hunger was satiated longer than anticipated. The pour over was pretty good, but think it was made too early, as it was lukewarm by the time they called to go with the burrito.Theres plenty of room to sit, with a couple comfy looking armchairs and couches with a coffee table between. Arriving shortly after opening on a Saturday, it was pretty quiet, but by 0900 it was pretty well packed and rather loud. When I got up to leave, the gentleman next to me commented about the noise, and how Id made the right decision to bring ear buds. The decors nice, but something to absorb sound would make it friendlier on the eardrums.

I went to Mugs on Saturday, July 10, and asked if I could get the turkey and swiss sandwich made into a wrap and was told no. I asked are you out of tortillas and was told no. Then, I asked, so I cannot get the veggie wrap and was told yes, I could... The man behind the counter then asked his co-worker if they can make the sandwich into a wrap and she politely said yes. I also ordered a Chai tea latte. The drink was made shortly after I ordered and I noticed there was no one in the kitchen so when I went to got my drink. I asked how much longer on the wrap and the man said 15-20 minutes because the cook was on break. I asked is this normal and was told no, not really. So I said, now i have to wait 15-20 minutes on my food and he said yes. I then said I would like my money back. This is, and was very unprofessional. I called the Heights location a few minutes after this ordeal and asked to speak with a manager or owner. I was told that they are not available and that I would get a call back. I explained that I did not want to leave a bad review, so please have them call me. So, I called again on Tuesday, july 13 and left another message for a call back. Im tired of waitin. So if you want service where the staff is not on break then please go somewhere else. Unfortunately, I will NOT be back.

If you just want coffee and a place to sit, this okay. If you want breakfast, this is not your place. An omelet was just that and an orange peel on a plate. There are no condiments other than tabasco, ketchup, salt and pepper. You order at the counter, pick up your order when they call and then clear your own table. They expect a tip for this despite offering no service. Something must have changed after the positive reviews I saw.

Overall this place is average, nothing impressive. It is a counter-style service where you order your food at the front counter and they call your name to pick up your food when its ready. No table service at all. They also used plastic containers for the food and plastic utensils, even for dine in orders. I find it impractical to try to cut through food with a plastic knife, so I didnt take like that feature. Also, for a place called Mugs Cafe I would expect them to have more than one size of coffee. The food was just average, nothing impressive and slightly overpriced for what you get. Cant see myself being a frequent visitor here.
