We bought a dishwasher in august, when it came from houston several weeks later, they found out it was damaged. Metro hurriedly located another one that was even better, after a week they set me up immediately for install the next day. It was wonderful, the salesman andrew couldnt be nicer. the new dishwasher is perfect. I highly recommend them.

I was lied to by Kai. I drive from Bee Branch to NLR to buy a dishwasher using cash. I bought an in stock GE dishwasher. I asked Jai specifically if I was paying for everything I needed. He said I was.Today I waited all day for the delivery. They arrived after 5 pm. They said they do not install dishwashers!!!! I couldn’t believe it! I had a dryer recently installed by them. In years past they have installed washers, dryers, and a dishwasher for me. But, today I find out my dishwasher won’t be installed. I have to pay someone else to do that!!!!I am completely disappointed and won’t go to Metro ever again.

I ordered an induction range from them that took about 5-6 weeks to come in and then we scheduled delivery for over 2 weeks later. Communication with sales person has been iniatiated by me each time and no follow up. It was delivered last week and needed a different power cord which I specifically asked about when setting up delivery and was told that the delivery team would take care of that if needed.Not true... Delivery team came on time as promised, had never seen this stove before... not able to change out cord... glass in oven door loose, delivery man fixed that.I had to call an electrician to change out the electrical box (cost 200$).When he finished, I turned on the oven to hear a loud buzzing from the fan in the oven door. I called Metro, they were to notify service and have them call me on Monday, no call, I texted my salesperson... He was to have asked them to contact me asap... Its now Wednesday and I still have not heard from them... I understand they are busy busy right now but they will be less busy from now on... I wont be purchasing from them again... customer service poor. Expensive stove too.

Bought a new appliance and it doesnt work. They wont come out for a week, while my food goes bad. It took two days of calling to make contact. They would not ever call back. I had to keep calling.****Update 7/10/2021. Salesman called the day this was posted. He had a new fridge delivered and installed the next day.

My Frigidaire fridge came without screws for the handles. Metro said they had contacted the manufacturer about it (and maybe they did). But three months went by...I called Frigidaire...and a week later, the screws came in the mail. I also waited three months for the ice maker to be delivered and installed.

Wow the products are horrible and had to actually take an item I did not buy because they failed to communicate the issue after they had full payment. Product I ended up with has had to be serviced three times in the 4 months I have owned it. Metro doesnt even service the product it was passed off to another company because I was told I wasnt a high end buyer. You can buy appliances any where and get treated better.

Went in to buy a stove. Plenty of sales people in the floor, yet not a single one offered to help. Went ahead and just bought online from Lowe’s.Edit...I was greeted properly by the girl at the front desk. The wife and I walked the showroom for a good 30 minutes, there were a few other customers, and several sales people, but not one asked if they could help. Im not looking for anything as Ive already bought what I was looking for from Lowes. Just remember the Pretty Woman sales rule.

On June 5, 2021, I purchased a Kitchenaid ice maker from Metro Appliances in Little Rock. Since they would not deliver to Camden, Arkanasas, I picked up the appliance myself and paid our plumber to install it. The ice maker operated until July 5 when it quit producing ice completely and was hot inside. I called the service department at Metro and left a message. No one returned my call that day, so I called back the next day and talked to a young lady who seemed to know what was wrong with the ice maker and indicated that they should send me a replacement. She said that she would talk to the manager and have him call me. I never heard from anyone in management! The next day, I called and talked to my salesperson. He also said that he would talk to a manager. When he called back and left a message, he informed me that they would not service any appliance outside of Little Rock. He had left a message with the Whirlpool sales representative to see who could work on my NEW ice maker. I waited three more days to receive an email from the salesman only for him to tell me Kitchenaid had no one in the area to service the NEW ice maker that had quit running one month after being installed! The Kitchenaid rep said that they would pay up to $150.00 dollars (which would certainly not cover the cost of a major repair ) to an unauthorized serviceman (that I would have to find) to service my NEW ice maker that evidently has problems from the factory and for which neither Whirlpool nor Metro Appliances feels any responsibility. This is not an isolated case because one of my close relatives bought the same $2000.00 ice maker from Metro Appliances at the same time and that ice maker had a leak that had to be repaired after being installed less that one month before! Finding out that no one at Metro Appliances or Whirlpool cares about their customer service is very disheartening. Surely there are other appliance companies that stand behind their products!

I ordered my speed queen washer and dryer from the place over a month ago. When I ordered they said the dryer had been shipped and where just waiting on arrival. I have called several times just to be told we are not sure when they are going to be shipped. So apparently I was lied to when I ordered it. When I called last week I said well can I also least get my washing machine and they said well they have names on them of people that have already paid for them. Well I guess since I paid for mine over a month ago mine name is not on 1.

Metro sells all of those Designer appliances thst you see in movies and magazines, as well as the same ones that Lowes and Home Depot sell. METROs Red Tag Room usually carries some of the best prices on floor models, over stock, Clearance, and scratch & dent appliances.... This Room usually contains DESIGNER appliances at bargain prices....Sometimes, unbelievablely low prices...ADVICE:If you purchase Designer appliances at Designer Prices, you should consider a Home warranty for appliances.After some of my appliance warranties expired, I developed issues with some as many people do. Designer appliances come with Designer repair prices. With the warranties, you pay a Reasonable monthly fee and a flat repair fee... usually $75 dollars. If the appliance is not fixed after 3 tries, it is replaced for Free.

We broke ground on a new house last year Jan 2020. Then COVID happened. We heard appliances were going to be back ordered so we went to Metro Appliance with a recommendation from our builder in June, knowing that we weren’t quite ready for appliances yet but wanted to be ahead of the game. We ended up spending several thousand dollars on 3 Fridges, 2 ovens, cook top, ice maker, microwave and a washer and dryer. We were told everything would be easily accessible and in stock except our big fridge. Which we were fine with. We were then given instructions to give them a 2-3 week lead time and everything would be delivered.When it was time for appliances, we reached out to our sales man and he informed us that not only was the big fridge back ordered but the other 2 fridges, ice maker ovens and washer and dryer. Never once did he check back in with us notify us of any changes to our order. After throwing a fit they were able to find us the ovens, 1 of the 3 fridges and the washer and dryer. We said bring what you have!! We were still fine waiting for the big fridge, little fridge and ice maker.After they dropped off the boxes my builder was left to do the install. We then realized they brought the wrong color washer and dryer and the wrong double ovens. We reached out to our salesman but absolutely no response. After our builder got a hold of his connection there at metro we were assured that they’d replace the ovens and have their crew Re-install but no other response given to explain the wrong color ofWasher/Dryer. We were then instructed not to use the ovens. So here were are living in this beautiful newHome but couldn’t use the ovens. Then the ice maker them shows up, Perfect! We then get a call stating that our ovens were in. We scheduled delivery and install. Done!!! Finally!!! The installer leave, Boom!! Top oven doesn’t work!!! We call our sales rep, “Nothing I can do until I send a repair tech out in 2 weeks.” Not even a sorry! No attempt to make things right!! Mind you we started this process back in June trying to be proactive. So here were are staring into Feb still waiting on 2 fridges, a new oven because we don’t want this lemon they sent us, Oh and the wrong color washer and dryer. Again never once has any attempt been made to help us feel better about this horrible debacle or make restitution. I totally get that COVID has made things difficult, we understand but the lack of communication and the mistake after mistake is very frustrating!!! Needless to say our experience with Metro Appliance hasn’t been the greatest. Here we thought starting this process last year June would help us get ahead of the game. BOY WERE WE WRONG!!!

Very poor customer service. Lying salesmen. Bad business. After being informed our appliances were in stock, we purchased a washer, dryer, and refrigerator. After not being contacted to confirm the delivery date we had already set, I called them. Only to find out, the refrigerator we had purchased was not actually in stock. Last business I will have with them. I recommend elsewhere. I gave one star due to the fact I cannot give zero.I contacted the manager and this issue was resolved. Therefore, I increased the rating to four stars.

We went to get a Traeger grill, Matt Pate was awesome. Very nice and extremely knowledgeable. He answered all our questions better than anyone in a big box stores could have (in my experience). We are very happy with our experience. And best of all it cost less than it was listed online! I will return for any appliance need I have. Ask for Matt Pate when you go!

I took my mom so she could look at ranges. The selection of appliances on the showroom floor far outnumber those at the big retail outlets. The service blows the retail establishments out of the water as well. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and assisted once a salesman (Scott) became available. Though they didnt have a white range in stock in the model my mother wanted, Scott ordered it and it will arrive in two weeks. I highly recommend Metro Appliances and More.

Its been 154 days since I ordered my dryer and still nothing. Its been 90 days since I ordered my refrigerator and dishwasher....still nothing. They sold my dryer to someone else right after they called and said it would be delivered. Now there are none in stock anywhere. I have called several times to ask for a date I can expect my appliances, they give me nothing. You mean, youre one of the largest purchasers of products and there is not 1 person at GE that can give a solid date on expected delivery? You cant call anyone at the company?I do have loaners, but when you move into your new house and after spending tons of money on new appliances, it would be nice to have the appliances that actually fit the space like you designed it. Using COVID as an excuse is unacceptable when it has been this long. Terrible, terrible. Will only order from Wayfair from now on. Still good prices and more guaranteed delivery dates.Update 01/08/21:Adding one star from one because I finally got my dryer. Still no refrigerator. Says it could be February before I get that. Also still no dishwasher. It has now been 141 days / 20 WEEKS since I ordered.

Austin Freeman was incredibly helpful. I had ordered all new appliances for my kitchen from Home Depot and waited over a month only to find out part of my order was on back order for another 6 weeks. I called Austin and he helped me find all of the appliances I needed to fit my custom cabinets. He had them delivered promptly and even made a special trip that was over an hour away to get my double oven to me. I would highly recommend them, GREAT customer service!!

Extremely frustrated with Metro. Purchased very expensive appliance for our kitchen renovation. After about three years the oven is not working properly. Purchased the ext4end warranty. WHAT A SCAM!!! The warranty company wont honor the warranty, and Metro refuses to send a service technician to repair it even though we offered to pay. STAY AWAY FROM METRO AND NEVER LET THEM TALK YOU INTO THE EXTENDED WARRANY.

We enjoyed shopping at Metro and our salesman was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and addressed all of our queries. We ended up purchasing our fridge without going to the other shops as planned. I give him 5 stars.The reason for the 3 stars is the delivery. First issue was timing. I was told the guys would call me an hour prior. Definitely not the case as I got a call when they were 10mins away. My second issue was how the fridge was handled from the truck to my kitchen. There was one guy doing all the work and struggling while the other guy watched on. The last issue was professionalism. As the one guy who was doing all the work was telling us about the fridge and showing us how to adjust doors and etc.. the other guys walks in the house and yells “Whats the problem”! He then proceeds to grab the remaining install pieces and snap them on in a rough manner.I would definitely shop here again but may schedule pick up vs delivery.

I went in at the end of October to purchase appliances for a complete remodel. It was 7k worth of appliances. The guy helping me told me to come back mid November when they run their sale. I went back in 3 different times to catch the guy that helped me. So much so the people at the front knew when I came in who I was there to see. Finally with check in hand I went in with my printed estimate I had received two weeks prior. He said he would have to speak to the manager to make sure they would honor the estimate. No. I was told the sale ended on Nov 14. This was on 11/18 after numerous attempts to complete the purchase. To say I was disappointed would be a understatement. So much for supporting local business. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The sales people were friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because when they say they deliver, that’s ALL they do. The delivery guys didn’t even want to take the dishwasher out of the box so we could ensure there was no damage. They did after my husband asked them to and then they left the dishwasher in the kitchen floor and left.Since we’ve only had the dishwasher a week, it’s too soon for me to give a review on its functionality.

They buying experience was fantastic. Matt was great to work with and made the buying process extremely simple. He was informative and guided throughout.However, the delivery and installation was terrible. I was never given an ETA on the delivery. Basically, it’ll be there Thursday. I never received a phone call or an email that gave me a delivery estimate. I checked with the store at 10am and was told they’d call soon. I waited at home all day and finally got a call at 5:00pm. Took a day off work for nothing.As a buyer, I would expect more communication and service after the sell.

LOVE our dishwasher. But when it stopped working 2 weeks later, I was never able to get anyone to return a call or give me an answer on getting it serviced. Great staff and nice products but the lack of customer service after the sale is really disappointing.Edit: Metro Appliance is arranging a service call to fix the dishwasher and doing all they can to make things right. I look forward to having my dishwasher again!

Bought a refrigerator Saturday, Scott Parks said it would be delivered by 4:30 PM the following Monday. I received a call around 7:30am Monday and said we were moved to their first stop. The installers arrived at 8:am removed old refrigerator and installed the new one by 8:45 am.The crew were very courteous and knowledgeable of what they were doing. Wanted to share a great experience with Metro Appliances & More, Maumelle, AR location. I am a consumer who looks for products online, reads about all specs/warranties and reviews, then makes a visit to several locations before making a purchase.Metro Appliances was one of the businesses on my list which had a good selection of refrigerators with my particular specifications. It was the only business which had someone greet me as soon as I came in the door, told me where the refrigerators were, and had someone come and ask me if I needed any help making my selection. They also had a very nice showroom.The person who came to help me was Kai Chung, the Assistant Sales Manager of this particular location. He gave me white glove service from the moment he introduced himself, to the selection and purchase of my refrigerator, to his calls to set up delivery.Kai was friendly, easy going, professional and knowledgeable about the appliances on the floor and others I had seen online. He provided answers to my numerous questions until I was satisfied about the refrigerator I decided to purchase. He never seemed as if he was in a hurry. He helped me complete the transaction and then saw me to the door. He thanked me for my purchase and said he would be in touch with me to set up the delivery. Kai called as promised to set up the delivery.This is the kind of service we as consumers are looking for....and is so rare to find these days. I usually dont write reviews but I had such a great experience at Metro Appliances. Kai was extremely helpful, went above and beyond taking the time to help me figure out which appliances I needed. My wife and I love Metro and have bought many appliances here. Their show room is massive giving you a huge variety of products to choose. Being price competitive is important to us and as you’ll see, they are, but the customer service is what makes the experience enjoyable. The salesmen are exceptionally well trained on the products they sell. Our salesman Gerry is always patient with my wife’s exhaustive list of questions and helps us focus on the products that fit our need. And when you need that extra help as we did when we required a propane conversion kit for our range, I gave Gerry a call and he had the appropriate kit waiting for me at the door.

Their service team lacks any follow-up. I had to keep calling them as every date passed they said they would communicate details. They didn’t understand their own process in order to answer questions correctly. Hardest thing they did was take my money.

Great experience, excellent help and selection. The extended warranty which is a scam most places is NOT a scam here and well worth the extra $. All future appliances will be coming from metro.
