Googled breakfast places in the area and this place popped up. Glad we went. Very busy when we arrived but also very organized in taking names, numbers and seating guests. At the time the wait seemed long but it went rather quickly as the staff hustled to get guests seated when others left. Very clean, very friendly home style little place. The food was delicious and the prices were great. Staff was on their toes with everything and friendly. Definitely a breakfast or lunch go to next time were in the area.

It was under $10 with coffee! Great steak breakfast! Really hit the spot! Try the sourdough toast. Eggs were perfect and they got the best hash browns... recommend asking for them extra crispy! This was the first time we ate here. My husband and I love finding places like this one. We were not disappointed. Portions HUGE and delicious .Cassie our server was great. I got a half order biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns. I couldnt do justice to it. MY husband had ham and eggs they when were fixed perfectlywe go to some place new we prder a meal that we can compare to othetr restaurants. This is our new favorite place

The Breakfast Nook sat us almost immediately on a Saturday morning around 9am. Service was quick and efficient, with continual refills of coffee and water. Our 8-year-old had the petite French toast and bacon, and despite being “petite” it was filling serving for him. One of the adults had the chicken fried steak, and it was cooked perfectly. Eggs over easy were perfect, and hash browns were thick cut fresh potatoes. I had the minced ham scramble. Pretty basic scrambled eggs and diced ham, but a lot of the latter. Good sourdough toast and English muffins for the adults. This was a lot of good quality breakfast food for under $30 before tip. There was a truck in the parking lot comparing masks to the sign of the beast so that was interesting. Overall, a great experience.

Great Food. Generous portions. Mediocre, at best, service, and very unfriendly. Nothing destroys a great meal like rude and unfriendly treatment.

Great food, amazing service. There was a little bit of a wait to be seated, but the food was worth the short wait. I would recommend maybe calling in 20-30 minutes before you arrive to get on the list.

Visited here a few times during the week while my parents were visiting. This is a neighborhood gem indeed. Friendly service, great food, quick turnaround, and worth making it a regular stop.

My husband and I decided to try this quaint restaurant for breakfast. The staff was very welcoming! I never had to ask for refill on my coffee or water because they would come around every 5 minutes or so and check to see if everyone had empty cups. The prices are amazing and the menu offers a great select of your home favorites. We will definitely visit here again! Thank you 🙏

Only second time there first time back in January of this year when I had to stay for a while broken down Dave Smith and they recommended the place so I happened to be in the area and I needed breakfast just left the hospital biscuits and gravy two soft-boiled eggs and hash browns great service very comfortable place good people.

If I could give 6 stars I would. I have been all across America and this place is a cut above the rest. Homemade hash, eggs cooked to perfection. We came in with 8 people every order was perfect. This is a new favorite when Im in Idaho. Larissa was our server and she was great. Very friendly and accommodating to our big group and special orders. She gets 5 stars for perfect service. Bottom line, this place does it right! Very cheap too!!!

Again as with Chompers on the other side of town, THE BREAKFAST NOOK has it all going on. A different style, but a Great breakfast and lunch menu. We all had something different and they were all terrific meals. This place has the best beef additions. Country or Chicken style fried steak with all the egg styles and potatoes or hash browns with all the typical toast. They also had an awesome Sausage based white gravy over the biscuits. MMMMM, good. A lot of gravy also so there was never a dry biscuit bite unless you wanted it. I like plenty of gravy, so this was fantastic.

Great service, however not so great food. The pancakes were still white and only served to soak up syrup. The ham was pretty good. The hash browns were Brown on the outside but mushy and overcooked on the inside.

I had one of the specials, Steak and Eggs $11.99! Not a typo, I had this 9oz Ribeye, (cooked to perfection) meal for under $12!Even though this place has a very large capacity, I am surprised there wasnt a line around the block. We ate at here on a road trip through the Rockies. If anything can turn a grouchy, sore group of hikers into bright-eyed bushy tailed piggies, the Breakfast Nook is it!!!On entering, a waitress cheerfully greeted us and served coffee while we devoured the menu with our eyes...so many choices 😀 Biscuits and gravy, egg scrambles, pancakes, waffles, french toast, omelettes, and its totally cool to order off the lunch menu if slamming down a 10 oz hot steak sandwich and a pound of crispy taters is your plate of breakfast!We ordered the biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage, omelette, french toast, and cinnamon roll. When the food came out, our eyes bulged and stomachs cringed as our nostrils quivered in delight. This is living, this is life! With sweet rolls the size of loaves, omelettes bigger than bricks, and a sausage patty that makes a hamburger patty look like, well, a sausage patty. 😉Once we dug in, the food rapidly disappeared...its slippery food, like cheesy burgers that you can eat great quantities of without realizing it; until, of course, you step on a scale or try to button your pants! The waitresses bustled back and forth refilling our coffees to wash down all the food. Our visit was truly heartwarming and memorable. There is hope for American cuisine yet!

Ive been going here ever since i can remember and after today and how the OWNER treated me and my mom we will not be going back. Our food was so so but we understand they are short staffed no big deal. Waitress miss punched pur ticket over charged us, it happens no big deal. She let the owner know so he came over and he made us feel like an inconvenience and said that it happens once a week that theu get a miss punch.... Miss punch over 200$ worth of food once a week?! He was rude and didnt care. And on my way out i saw they put a new sign up. If we do not meet your standards lower your standards- management

Ive been here twice now, and each time was awesome: It was quiet, clean, the service was fast and friendly, the food was warm and prompt. My mom, from out of town, was very happy -(They kept her coffee full!) Very down to Earth.

The food is always great and our waitress, Janelle is always friendly and efficient. I love that the staff work together to refill coffee and water on our table and remove dirty plates when finished. The owners do a great job at training see their staff.

Terrible customer service and management. I called when I was about 20 minutes away and asked what the wait was. I was told 15 minutes. I got there 13 minutes after the phone call and was told by the “manager” they decided to close for the day… Their store hours are posted and said they don’t close til 2pm…It’s currently 11:50am as I write this review. No apology or explanation was offered.

The breakfast nook has been one of my favorite places to eat for the past few years now. The food is always delicious and the staff is usually pretty friendly. The pricing for the food is definitely fair which makes this an even better place to take your family for a nice breakfast. This place can be very busy at times though. Enjoy!

The food here is to die for. My first meal was a cinnamon apple French toast special, which was absolutely delicious and in a portion size so big that I couldnt finish it. My meal was surprisingly affordable at under ten dollars. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The Breakfast Nook has become my regular breakfast diner.

Service is on point kept my coffee full. The Santa Fe omelette was awesome. There toast is thick and buttery.Not your typical greasy spoon definitely try it for yourself. The only negative was the pancakes were a little on the rubbery side but they tasted good.
