My motorcycle sat for two years and during that time became a nice playground/home for some mice. By the time I decided for them to move on the bike was in need of some repair to say the least. For ten years, every Spring Coastal Enginuity tunes up my lawnmower, but this Fall I got the bright idea of having them tune up my snowblower. First time I used it, turns out, I inadvertently turned the throttle nearly off and when I tried to use it, it sputtered out. CE kept coming out to see what was wrong, shuttling my machine back and forth, but of course, they always turned the hidden throttle on, until they finally figured out their customer did not know his own machine. They persisted until they found the answer and never called me an idiot, although I deserved it. They are the essence of professionalism.

I cant recommend Coastal Enginuity enough. I recently put a mid-1960s Ariens snowblower into service. I did some basic maintenance on it initially, but found that it clearly needed some additional work before itd operate smoothly. After working out exactly what it needed and working within my budget, they returned a fully functional machine that probably runs like it did 50 years ago. I am a new customer of Coastal Enginuity and have had a great experience. In May they gave my 5 year old Craftsman a much needed servicing, along with a new blade. They had it running like a kitten! They picked up and dropped off, and did fine work at a fair price.A couple months later I had a problem with the mower - the fuel system somehow got dirty and the motor would sputter out. Ric and his team took care of me quickly and, because it wasnt clear how or why the fuel system was contaminated so soon after the tuneup, they cleaned it again at no charge. I met Ric in Rye when he first opened his business several years ago, and told him I was looking for a local, reliable, and fair shop for my small engines. Since then, I have trusted CE with my chainsaws, snowblower, mower and trimmers. Last Spring, I couldnt start a trimmer, and I ran over to the shop for some help. Jayce looked at it right away, got it started, adjusted the idle, and gave me some tips about fuel treatment. Recently, Ric and his team repaired two gas trimmers that were out of service, and even loaned me his personal trimmer to get me by! He estimated repairs, and kept me in the loop while parts were on order, and both were returned in perfect working order, at the costs I was expecting. Local, reliable and Fair! 5 stars!

She doesnt look like much, but she has it where it counts., I always say about my old tractor. After spending two weekends tuning my decade plus Craftsmen tractor to no avail, I had to call it done. Even with my father in-law giving it one last go to fix it, no such luck. A co-worker had recommended Ric and Coastal Engenuity, so I took him up on it. The onsite pick-up and drop-off is really convenient. Ric had contacted us and gave a fair assessment and reasonable cost to repair. After mowing my full acre with a push mower for two weeks, I was excited to see my tractor again after he dropped it off. Ran ten times better than before, and made short work of an expansive lawn. Cannot recommend Ric enough. Professional, honest, and quality work.
