Granite depot has the best prices and best selection of countertops. The process was so quick and easy, from choosing the stone to installation. I shopped around and no one could touch their prices! Vlad was wonderful to work with and super helpful. I will use Granite Depot again when I remodel the bathrooms!!!! Great service, great experience!

Excellent company! Communication from start to finish was awesome. I did the quartz special in Spring 2021 that I found on Facebook. Vlad was quick to respond and very attentive. When I went to their location Vlad walked me through the process and made sure I understood everything involved with replacing my countertops. The template.guy was professional and quick. My quartz was cut and polished flawlessly. The install crew was very respectful of our property and were extremely professional as well. Granite Depot of Charleston comes highly recommended!! These people are true professionals! It started with the initial contact with Vlad in the sales department, he couldn’t have been more courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and especially patient with me. He made sure I was making the right decision on which stone I was wanting and never tried to upsale me or anything close to that. I can’t say enough about the installers either. The guys came on time, they were very nice and communicative on what they were going to do and informed me on how to keep the stone looking new with cleaning techniques. Very professional crew! East Coast Granite and Design came recommended by our contractor who works with them frequently. We met with Elena in their showroom who was helpful and once we decided on our quartz pattern she was quick to setup the template team. I recommend your contractor be present with the template team at a minimum in addition to you if possible. They worked together to make sure that minor additional work was done by our contractor so the quartz could be installed evenly/leveled. The existing counter was removed fast and our quartz came in quickly. The guys who installed it also were very fast and friendly. It looks fantastic, especially with the farmhouse sink. We get compliments frequently. There are a few nicks, a small mark on a cabinet, and one place in particular that has a rectangular “stained” area like a piece of wood it was leaning on, but only visible at a certain angle (we didn’t say anything bc it wasn’t a huge deal). Overall they were affordable, easy to work w especially directly with our contractor, and faster than expected which was great as we had a deadline and they did the work before we moved in. Also it looks great!

We ordered granite for a new bar in our FROG. Not impressed with installation…. Our bar front and sides is made of stone; thus it’s not level surfaces. The granite over hang on front side of bar extends 12 inches and needs stabilizer brackets to seamlessly make it aesthetically and structurally look nice. Granite Depot installed it and left telling my husband to purchase corbels for stability. Corbels will be difficult to place because of the rock surfaces and not what we expected to see for the finished look of our new bar. Salesperson swears he told us that corbels would be needed and that they do not install stabilizing bars during granite installation when I spoke with him and offered no alternative other than corbels, which I clearly told him I don’t want because of the rock surfaces. The beveled granite we paid for is also not completely beveled and all they could offer was to set up getting someone to come and fix that for us! Just make sure ALL details are clear before paying them for any services!!!!

Once she realized we weren’t making an expensive purchase from her, the woman who was helping us became so incredibly condescending that we chose to take our business elsewhere.

The install and template crew were EXCELLENT. The sales office lacked professionalism with the exception of Chris who was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in us as customers even though he was not our sales representative. It was Chris who recommended Yuri from Perfect Stones to do our cabinets for us! We were given a list of other stores and encouraged to look for granite at those places as well as what their store had onsite. Much to our dismay, our sales representative seemed detached from our project after she learned that we decided to purchase the granite we loved from another company. She did not listen closely as we told her many times which kitchen sink we wanted. On the day of the installation, the wrong sink appeared. Our project was delayed 4-5 days as the granite had to be returned to the store to be recut for the square sink. Our representative minimized our concerns and had a dismissive attitude toward us which was not a good experience.In the end, our countertops were delivered undamaged, and they look very good. Our cabinets are beautiful!

I was told my Quartz would be installed one day, so I called off work and then stayed home all day for them to never even show up! I then had a issue with my Bill since they wanted to charge me another 75.00 to measure and I stated that this was unfair since you wasted hours of my time sitting home waiting for you. I then proceeded to have the owner or manager call me and never once received that call. They then proceeded to Charge my credit card for 375.00 without Authorization.!!! I do not trust business practices like this!

Elena and her crew were wonderful to work with, helped me stay within budget, plus I was also able to pick out the slabs that my kitchen counters would be cut from. Once installed they were beautiful but the island had a natural crack in it, which occurred from the quarry, but even though they didn’t cause the crack, East Coast granite replaced the countertop with a comparable piece and everything looks great!

I know purchasing stone can be difficult. I needed countertops as well as a matching piece for for my shower bench. Because I was working on two different time frames with my shower and cabinets, I needed my stone cut at two different times. Other stone companies were making it very difficult for me. But when I finally found Daryna at East Coast, she was able to help me find exactly what I needed, accurately detail the pricing, and set up an appointment for measurement all within an hour. She made it so easy! Daryna’s communication and follow through were top notch. Install was a breeze and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

I loved working with Julie at East Coast. The first time I talked to her on the phone she told me not to worry, that she could find something in our budget that we would love. I told her I knew nothing about choosing a stone or the whole process of things, and she said people in the industry refer to her as “the countertop lady” because she has been in the business so long. I would definitely say she has earned her name. She listened to me, took down the selections I made, and so sweetly priced them...and when they were way over our budget, she had just the right stone picked out for us. Why didn’t I just wait for her to give me choices from the beginning? She had already listened to me and knew exactly what I was looking for. Our marble countertops are beautiful. The guys in the shop were so nice and did a fantastic job with the layout, avoiding a flaw in the stone and doing it without any seams...something we thought was impossible. I was very disappointed with the customer service I received from East Coast. I was told that I would have to have my sink at the time of template. Once Nick came out to template, I was told that the sink also needed to be mounted. I felt that I was unfairly charged with the $150 trip fee.I also hard a time contacting them in general. I felt as though I was pestering them to get some answers and that just didn’t feel right.Once my counters were installed, I never received a follow up call, and my credit card was charged. It would have been nice and respectful to have had someone contact me before they charged. I would not recommend using East Coast.

While shopping for granite countertops recently we worked with Quanisha at East coast granite. While we didnt go with her company we found a different material we liked somewhere else, Quanisha was very easy to work with and accommodating. I recommend getting a quote from them and looking at their selection.

They are on time...they install fast efficient...and they never make mistakes! I have used other granite stores in past and left them when East Coast came to Charleston.

I recently left a review and was accused of not being a customer. I was very much a customer and worked with Todd Hagy. The fact that no one remembers me, just reinforces the fact that East Coast is about quantity and not quality of customer service. I would not recommend this company and they unfairly charged me with a service fee and never followed up upon completion and went ahead and charged my credit card.

Absolutely terrible service. Still haven’t finished the work they contracted for. Wrong sink, never sealed anything, forgot parts of the counter. More importantly they don’t return phone calls. Halfass workmanship for sure

The tops in my bathrooms supplied and installed by East Coast Granite have permanent swirl marks and tape residue from fabrication. According to East Coast Granite, the swirl marks are from protective packing used during transportation and shipping of slabs. East Coast Granite delivered and installed these with this defect anyway. The adhesives used during fabrication were too sticky and embedded themselves in the marble top. There are permanent tape residue stains resulting from improper fabrication techniques by East Coast Granite. East Coast Granite was unable to remove these unsightly stains with buffing. I do not recommend East Coast Granite. Im left with expensive marble tops that with ugly swirls marks and residue staining.

UPDATE: In response to East Coasts reply to my comment. If an email address is provided or a representative would have ever responded to me I would be happy to show you a copy of our signed contract with your company information clearly shown on it.ORIGINAL COMMENT: The only positive point through this experience was the installation and templating crew performed great work and were easy to work with. The granite itself was supplied through Cosmos Granite and Marble and not East Coast Granite. East Coast Granite personnel barely communicated with us during the process and informed us of incorrect information which the installation and templating personnel clarified and worked with us on. From the time we put down our deposit to having granite installed, it took a full month, 8/20/18-9/19/18. Our granite was not purchased on time by East Coast Granite, which pushed out our install date, they did not obtain out slab till after our template had been taken almost a week prior, install was well beyond the guaranteed 5-7 business days and caused a huge inconvenience to us as our original countertops we taken out as well as our sink, which left us ill-equipped for multiple weeks. The point of contact in the office we had took over our account from the one person who was able to help us during this process (Todd) and then did nothing with our account and then left the state, havent heard from him since. Even after talking to the head of the office about our issues, nothing was done, no apology or anything. We have been trying to get in touch with corporate and no one has responded to us. I do not recommend East Coast Granite to anyone. I suggest going to Cosmos and having them recommend a qualified installer.

What’s worse than a company than provides horrid service, lies on their online website (every time I asked why they said “oh that’s for the upstate”), takes your deposit and doesn’t order the actual granite (and the individual that took our deposit just up and left Charleston without telling anyone ).......a Company that goes online to trash the customers (saying online we weren’t even customers in the first place even though we have overt evidence) that ended up still spending thousands of dollars with them......that’s east coast granite. A literal sh*t show. Do not use this company.

Very dissatisfied with their service. I will never recommended them to family and friends.Our bad experience started in the showroom. We were told to draw the dimensions of our countertop, but not told to draw the sink we ordered. This caused problems with the time line for delivery, etc. On two separate occasions, I travelled to their Moncks Corner warehouse and was either mistaken for someone else, or given the wrong product. When I told them my countertop didnt include a sink, they tried to charge me more. My deadline for delivery was pushed back three times. When we finally received the countertop, the sink was not fixed to the countertop, so we have to do this ouselves. Very dissapointed in final product!
