I first came here a few months ago and they didnt have what I wanted so I was going to leave but the employees kept saying they can order it for me as if I dont know how to use the internet?? Why would I want you to order it for me when its so easy to do myself and probably cheaper on another website? Fast forward to now, I visited again and had another bad experience. Weird male employee kept following me around and asking if I need help. As a woman, I felt so uncomfortable that I had to leave. Please dont harass customers like this!
This Staples location on Centre Point Drive in North Charleston is a great resource for all of your office supply and business product needs. I have made several successful purchases here and I enjoy being able to try out and test the items before buying. The staff here is very helpful and seems to provide immediate assistance as soon as you walk in and they are available throughout the time you are in there. This Staples is very well run and managed and I have been impressed with every visit here.
Dane went above and beyond to assist me with a laptop purchase. He broke down everything and it didnt even take 30 minutes! The store manager was also very attentive.

This was a very pleasant shopping experience today. The store was clean and organized and the merchandise was easy to find. Upon check out the cashier was extremely friendly and helpful and thank me for shopping at Staples. I do highly recommend the store at this location as they were very friendly and helpful. They have a huge selection of merchandise and various products that you would not think would be in an office supply store. The prices were also very competitive I feel.
I bought a Groupon for my Christmas cards this week at Staples. They were wonderful! They were ready in 5 hours. I picked them up in the store and the associates were super friendly!
This place has great prices and customer service. I wanted a chair that goes off sale tomorrow and wasnt certain if it would fit in my car. Nick, our salesperson, carried it out and checked the size. Come to find out it would have if I hadnt had groceries in my trunk. He suggested going ahead and paying for it so they could just hold it til I could come back with an empty car. I got my chair and the sale price($70 off reg price) all thanks to his help! Nick also suggested the warranty which I bought when I picked up the chair. He loaded the chair and was so nice and knowledgeable. I will ask for him next time I go to Staples!
I thought their prices would have been more competitive however they turned out to be more expensive than a few other places I have been. The products are very attractive though. I am hoping they are also of a high quality. There werent a lot of people around to ask for assistance of any kind. I had to wait until I got to the cashier to ask for a few things on my list that I could not locate. I may go back if I have cash to spare! (Unlikely)
Store was quite a mess. Many things I looked at had no price, and the price card attached to the bin/shelf was missing. The prices are really too high, even on sale. There are some pretty things you cant get other places, but they are really high. The staff on Jan. 17 was very grumpy. One lady was filling shelves, I think, and kept leaving her cart right in the middle of the aisles and there was no room to get around them. And when I approached her to ask a question, her irritation was obvious and she had no interest in helping and was very brusk, hoping to get rid of me quickly. I told her what I was looking for, and that I had already looked at one display, and she said, Have you looked at that display? Thats all we got and a few here. The manager rung me up and he was very sour. He huffed and puffed as I got my cash together, and I guess I wasnt counting it out fast enough for him, and he turned away from me. I was standing there holding my money out, waiting for him to turn around. Very unfriendly. Never smiled. Never greeted me. Never asked if I found everything I needed. I wont return to this location.
The Staples Copy Center team and store GM were very accommodating with our recent project, and its rushed timeline. The finished product was very good quality, and our customer even gave us positive feedback on the presentation materials. I highly recommend this location for Copy and Print services, in particular, but have always been met with a willingness to go the extra mile on other occasions, in the retail section of the store This location is also great about working with customers on any product or service related issues. They truly yearn to create a positive consumer experience, so if you do have any issues - ask what can be done to accommodate, before getting too frustrated. They have always had a solution for me that was acceptable, and often beyond my expectations.
I wish I could give this a negative 10! This store is absolutely horrible. I rather drive to Summerville than to come to this one. I went in with a simple question hey how much would it be to print a photo they’re response was short and so sweet “you are better off at Walmart”When I asked the price of an 8x10 both clerks looked annoyed at the printing center almost like hey didn’t you get the hint we don’t want to do our job. She told me $17 for an 8x10! Not even on printing paper but the paper they use to print regular items.I laughed and left. You have young, rude people working your store. The only reason I left my fiancée asked me to just walk away and contact corporate which I did as well. I wanted to speak directly with the store manager about their rude store associates but I left because my fiancé didn’t want me to cause them their jobs. As a previous customer service rep I can tell you if I ever had spoken to or treated a customer at my store like this I would’ve gotten fired on the spot. Staples make your staff take a class on how to be nice to your guests. You lost a customer. Never again!
The customer service here was terrible. I had a copy made, then walked over to their paper cutter to crop it down to size. The cutter was completely dull, and so it just ripped the paper up. So I went back to purchase another copy, and even though there were no other customers there, I was told it would be just a minute. There were two employees back there, and the manager was also there doing something on the computer. I stood there (8 months pregnant and with 2 toddlers, no less) for at least 10 minutes waiting. There was no explanation. The manager did not acknowledge me or let me know what to expect or apologize for my wait. Apparently none of them could take a minute to reprint the one sheet of paper (that wouldnt have needed to reprinted if they hadnt provided a paper cutter with a dull blade in the first place). When I finally got it reprinted, I asked if they could use their functioning cutter to crop it to size, and was told it would be $2 a cut. Absurd. Definitely wont be going back to this Staples.

Kudos to the Tanger Outlet Staples Store. They have the most helpful staff in their printing department (where I go the most).
I was there around 6-7PM, They was very nice, the employee who was by the copy machine was very special ready to help when you ask him.
Friendly service. My complaint is not with the staff in the store, but rather with the printing services and the individual(S) working in that station. I wanted to drop off a package at the UPS substation at this location and I was told I would be helped after the customer in front of me was finished being helped.... normal right? Well 20 min later this lady is thumbing through the computer at the desk with the associate, and blatantly ignored me. A big F U to the lady for not having her stuff together and a big F U to the guy for not realizing there are other people in line that need to be helped.

Need more manning in the Print Center, if customers are unable to come in to have items hole-punched or copied until the next day and there are still several hours until they close, thats kind of ridiculous.
